My Entry! Hope you like it!:

So like. Some sort of huge long as d’fuxt time ago….
There was this just… huge, like…. Massive… like the most biggest
heavy weight champ of the universe… of dragons. (Yeah… this story is going to be kickass)
Well he was thinking to himself “hell yeah im the most awesome dragon ever man! As far as hoards go… you can keep your coins… well nah y’all cant, cause I own your planets bitches! HA hell yeah!" Now this dragon forgot all about his bigger a** dragon momma… well she heard his dumb a** running his mouth like a fool, wasn’t getting off his scaly hide to get a damn job! Oh she was pissed at her fool son! She came off the front porch.. of their like… celestial dragon… palace…like, place and proceeded to open a can of whoopass on him! “BOY! YOU DO NOT GO AROUND LIKE YOU SOME SORT OF LORD OF CREATION WHEN IM SUPPORTING YOUR a**! YOU AINT GOT A JOB AND YOU GO TRY’N TO OWN PLANETS?! What you know about planets?! Not a damn thing! Boy I am gonna learn you a lesson!
In response to his asswhoopn the mighty celestial dragon replied as such:
WHACK!
I’m sorry momma!
WHACK!
I WONT DO IT AGAIN I SWEAR! I’M SORRY!
WHACK!
OW MOMMA OW!
WHACK!
MOMMA, MOMMA!
After the whoop’n of much a** the celestial dragons momma did calm her mighty hands from the seat of her sons nonexistent celestial pants. She would have mercy on him… this time but he had best be going in the morning to that celestial burger king to fill out an application! But she was going to learn him a lesson! She picked out one of his coveted planets a little snot ball of a thing. She didn’t know what it was and didn’t care. “Boy that planet there… It ain’t yours any more! Got that?” she said as she raised the palm of her asswhoopn hand!
BUT!! MOMMA?!.... Ok, Ok momma I’ll give it up momma just don’t whoop me again!
Somebody had to take charge and like hell this planet was going to let another dysfunctional dragon get the one up on her. So she got out changed her name to Gaia and started taking care of her own self! She was her own planet now strong smart and independent she wasn’t going to go let another dragon run her life! Yeah maybe shed' even take some of those writing courses at the community celestial college that she always wanted to!.... To this day the celestial dragon still hasn’t got his a** a job.

THE END!!!!!!

The great celestial dragon ruled over all the cosmos doing with the planets what he pleased with no consideration at all for how they might feel. He abused his power constantly, one planet had finally had enough…and that planet was Earth. Earth rose up in revolt sending its own spirit to take its freedom and thus Mother Gaia was born. She rode the celestial waves to the home of the great dragon and demanded her freedom. “You have tormented me long enough and I will no longer have it! The moon and earth are now under my control and there is not a thing you can do to stop me dragon!” She left his palace and went back to her home her planet her body. Gaia rules over her body with an iron but loving hand. Whenever something gets out of hand she intervenes in many different ways. She was at peace for many years but the dragon would not have it. No planet of his was going to revolt so he came back to the planet in the form of a human man and stirred up trouble and chaos. He rallied the humans and they took control of the planets causing all the creatures of myth to be pushed into hiding. He then directed the humans into a downward spiral they poisoned the planet and slowly started to kill her. He told them the creatures of myth were just that, a myth. Some humans tried to help the planet for they were still connected to the Earth mother and they knew what the others of their kind were doing was wrong. These people were protected by Gaia were the only ones of the human race allowed to breed after Gaia sent a cleaning force to purify and rebuild her body. Strangely enough the purifying force was the very creatures that you are now trying to destroy. (I'm connecting the first contest into the second if that’s alright.) The dragon had not left Mother Earths body no…oh no. He just lay in wait for his next move. He saw that these creatures…these SHADOWS were a force to be reckoned with so he used them to his advantage. He placed a scale from his body a claw and a whisker into the realm in which they lived causing hatred to seep into their very essence thus changing them to creatures of hatred and death instead of the cleansing force they were originally meant to be.

Once The Great Celestial Dragon ruled over all planets in the known realms...

All but one.

One day, this planet awoke. It awoke, and created the goddess Gaia, to rule over it and protect it.

But Earth, the dominion of Gaia, was part of the horde of this Great Celestial Dragon. A dragon so grand that he dwarfed the solar system, and to him Earth was as tiny as a blue-green jewel.

What right did this tiny planet have to rule itself?

He approached the planet, huge, circling up from under it to cradle his defiant treasure in the palm of his hand, before transferring it to the tip of his claw.

"Gaia." His voice was so deafening that it made all the planets nearby tremble.

She manifested, only twice as large as her own planet. A woman, with leafy green skin and water for hair, sandy scales here and there and strong claws on her fingertips and toes.

"What do you want? I bear the burden of this planet now."

"A dragon never loses even the tiniest coin from his horde without a fight, Gaia. You know that."

"Then select a champion, dragon, and I will select one of my own. Whoever wins determines who holds the right to rule Earth. If your Champion wins, I shall vanish and watch my world from a distance. If my champion wins, you may never touch Earth again."

The dragon eyed her. "Very well. I shall."

The goddess's avatar vanished.

The chiming of a hammer on steel rang through the forge. The smith worked away as his creation, hammering away at the steel as it glowed red hot from the fire. It was long and thin, moderately curved, and as he worked and refined it more and more, it got sharper and sharper. It took a very long time, but he eventually finished the blade. It was so finely polished that the firelight danced upon the blade as if it was burning in the blade. It was light and strong, and he wrapped the handle in a grey manta ray skin. He then settled it blade up on a display rack and started to forge the sheathe, making it of similar manta skin.

Soon he had finished his masterwork. He set it out to gleam in the sunlight, when...

In the front of his home, a dragon lands, the length of the tallest trees in the forest. It’s massive. He roars, and with a sweep of his tail smashes the front of the smiths house. The front half of the building crumbles like paper under the dragon’s tail. The Smith looks up at the dragon and flees.

He cries out a name then… That name has been lost to the ages, but the smith was calling to the guardian of his home and family.

Out of the woods that were in the back of the smiths house ran… a fox. A great creature with platinum gold fur, with 9 long tails, as tall as a human when on all four legs.

She stared at the dragon, before vanishing and appearing in the form of a human woman, wearing a long and flowing Kimono. Her hair was the same platinum blonde with a pair of fox ears and nine big bushy tails. She stood there and took the Katana that had been sitting there, gleaming in the sun, and slowly strapped it to her side.

“CHAMPION OF GAIA! FACE ME!” Roared the dragon, as with a swing of his great head and neck, smashed the house of the smith, knocking it over as if it had been made of toothpicks and tissue paper. He looked down, and saw the tiny fox girl standing before him.

“You? You dare stand before me as I search for the Champion that Gaia has chosen? I will win back dominance over this planet!” The dragon roared after, insulted and almost amused that such a tiny and cute thing would dare to stand before him.

The Kitsune in disguise cocked her head, and thumbed her nose. “I care not of any champion. But you do not attack the smith, the one whom I guard.” She stood and slowly drew the shining blade, which shined like a tiny sun in the clearing.

The dragon laughed, his amusement echoing off distant buildings and booming back in a deafening roar.

The fox had enough of this.

“SILENCE!!!!” She roared herself, her voice rising louder as she screamed. The dragon stopped to stare at her, not in fear, but in surprise and shock. The scream was so loud, that it made the dragon’s head shake in pain.

She bounded forward, bringing her blade far behind her head, before bringing it forward in a shining arc across the dragon’s left eye; the sword slicing s easily through his flesh and bone that it made naught a sound. The dragon whips his head around, slamming it into the fox woman and sending her flying. He snarls and reaches up and claws the wound, furious. This tiny creature actually has the nerve to face him? He breathed a blast of golden crimson fire after her as he watched her arc through the air.

She does a flip in the air as she soars, and puts two fingers to her lips. She takes a deep breath and blows hard, and the dragon’s fire is met by a great flash of purple flame, meeting the great bout of flames. The two warred for each other before the dragon’s flame overwhelmed the purple flame and rushed forward, scorching the air and everything else in its path.

The dragon snorted. How dare that tiny creature mark him?

He brought his head back and forth, looking around once again for the smith. The only building that had survived his attack was the forge, and he crept towards it, like a cat, his tail swishing.

At least… until his tail got cut off.

That caught his attention. The dragon bellowed in shock and agony as his head whipped around to look at the now bloody stump as he started to thrash about in pain and fury. He felt the stump smack something up into the air, and he looked up to see the girl, covered in his fresh crimson blood.

She brought up her hand and spread her fingers, in her hand appearing several huge six pointed shurikens, each having to be at least four inches from point to point. With a powerful swing of her arm, she sends them shooting straight into the dragons wings, pinning them to the ground as they spear through the thin membrane. The dragon bellows in rage as he lashes out with his jaws to chomp down on the airborne fox-girl.

She braces herself, and somehow manages to catch the dragon’s jaws with one hand as she braces herself with her feet. She can feel the blood trickling through her fingers and from her feet as she shakes with the effort of not being crunched like some tasty snack.

The dragon bellows and whipped his head about, before realizing what kind of precarious position the fox-girl had put herself in. He started to laugh, his echoing mirth deafening for the fox girl as she stared down its throat… as she watched it start to glow with the dragon’s fire.

She thrust forward with her blade, sliding the blade through the top of the dragon’s mouth.

The dragon froze, the fire slowly dying in its throat as she was sprayed with dragon blood. The dragon trembled, but only a tiny bit. But his eyes were bulging out of his head. The great neck started to sway back and forth precariously.

She pushed up, and the jaw went up just enough for her to jump out of the dragon’s mouth. The neck swayed back and forth twice more before falling to the ground with a thud.

She landed on one knee, holding her blade at the ready, tails splayed across the ground.

The black serpent, the champion of the great celestial dragon… was dead.

She stood, and went to a wing. The wings were still spread out as they had been when she pinned them, but there was no shuriken to hold them down, nor no wound marks to show they had ever been there. She then wiped the blade clean on the wing of dead dragon.

When the blade was clean and shining once again, she slid it back into its sheathe. She headed to the forge to check upon the smith that she guarded by honor. He was there, safe but scared.

No one remembers the name of the kyuubi that guarded the smith. All they call her is by the title the blade gained after that battle.

Osafune, The Blade That Cut Trough The Hand Of Fate.
