Clover couldn't belive how much more work she had just few weeks into the second year of school. Luckly it was raining so it didn't make having to stay in and do homework so bad.
However being that she really didn't want to do homework and would rather draw or look up another animal she didn't yet know about she took her quills and in her book bag then took that on one sholder and her art kit bag on the other and headded out of the Hufflepuff Dorms
She worked her way though the halls and to the libriary. She was actuly kinda hoping for some sort of distraction but that was probbly unlikly. She found an unclamed table and dropped down into one fo the chares putting both bags onto the table and forced herself to start doing school work.

Dorian had been a bit miffed with how much raining it had been doing lately. It was starting to make him antsy. If he didn't get some energy out soon he'd go stir crazy!
It was rather hard to find places to hangout, since it seemed that Quill was in every place he tried to go. Finally he settled on going to the library, knowing that was the last place he'd find the red head. Dorian had settled in with a book and had started to read when a thud from nearby startled him.
He looked up with an annoyed look and was surprised to find Clover sitting at the table across from him. It had been ages since he had seen the other girl. He wondered what she had been up to. It appeared that she had a bunch of school assignments to work on. Since he didn't have much else to do he got up and walked over.
"Hey Clover, how have you been? Need a hand with any of your assignments?"

Clover looked up wondering how long Dorian had been there. "If you want to, I sure as heck won't say 'no'. Good to see you Dorin." she said with a smile.
She pulled the art kit bag off the table and onto the floor. "I'm no Ravinclaw student that is for sure." she chuckled slightly "I don't really like having to do so much work but yeah, I guess I have to be slower somewhere right?" she asked mediforicly.
"Plants and animals I'll reserch till the cows come home. heh.... " she said looking at her books. History potions, and others that she tended to put off.

Dorian smiled and took a seat across from her, casting a glance at the books she had strewn about. "It's good to see you too. Has school been keeping you too busy to do anything fun? Looks like you have a lot to catch up on." He added.
His eyes followed her motions as she moved her art kit off of the table. "Still drawing then? You'll have to show me some of the new stuff once we're done." He scowled at the reference to the Ravenclaw House. "Don't compare yourself to them. People learn at different paces, the problem is the teachers don't really care to help those that need it. Sorry, " he said pausing in his tirade to run a hand through his hair. " I've been getting annoyed with how smug and stuck up they are. It's like they don't think anyone else could be as smart as them. And when someone is they try to take them down."
He sighed and leaned back in his chair, and smiled at her last comment. "If I recall correctly it was your interest in a certain nest that caused us to meet in the first place. Well at least you know what you like. Some people take forever to figure it out. So what's the toughest subject that you need help with first?"

Clover chuckled slightly, "That, and I put off what I don't like and don't understand.... Potion's is alright.... if it wern't for the fact it beiing down in the dungens.... To be honest I like history..... but staying awake during the class is hard with how that particular teacher speaks." she said rolling her eyes. "I guess the hardest is the astrollogy..... Looking at stars should be relaxing not exsosting."
Clover smiled when he got upset. "I wasn't complaing about it Dorian, I'm glad to be a Hufflepuff, The crest of the trusted, and true friends. I'm outdorsy not much of a book worm like they are." she chuckled "But some things
She nodded "Having a home with my parents in Lunden and visiting the farm when I could, I learned what I like quickly, Sadly thanks to my Grand-mum's help, being that she didn't aprove of my Ma being halfblood. My Grandma is quite opened minded for being rased on the farm. Still don't know how Grand-da fell for her." she said with a small chuckle then got shhed and looked over at the person who shhed her and scofffed since she haddn't really laughed that loud.
She desided to pull the astollogy book since it was the tughest for her though she actuly didn't minde the class getting to have time outside looking up at the stars but charting them was always hard because she couldn't find the shapes the same as everyone else.

Dorian smiled and was glad to hear that she wasn't doing too poorly. "The dungeons are a bit dank and musty, living down there is still kind of odd. You never really get the smell out of your clothes." he confessed with a low laugh. "Hmm..I have history notes if you want to use t hem, It is hard with him having such a monotone voice. I've found that by pinching yourself really hard it helps you stay awake. Though you do end up bruised after class. As for astronomy, I don't think there's much I can do to help you with that. I suppose I could help you make some cue cards so you can memorize what the constellations look like. "
Dorian wasn't sure why he had gotten so frustrated and started the whole tirade about the Ravenclaws. It had only been one incident but it seemed as though he couldn't let it go or forget about it. He was going to have to learn to move on..if he was going to be in a better place.
"Sorry, I didn't mean that. I'm just kind of hung up about something that happened in class. I'm glad you're happy with who you are. I don't think you'd fit in any other house than the one you're in. I often feel the same way about myself; despite how nasty some of my fellow House mates are."
Dorian was a bit surprised to hear about her family's relationships. He had never really heard about them before, especially that her mother had been a halfblood. "Oh well some people just have a hard time accepting others. I find there are a lot of people like that these days. Well there must have been something about her that he found attractive. It's probably hard to see it now. A life time of living can change people pretty drastically." He added.
He was relieved when Clover pulled her astronomy book open and decided to get to work. He pulled his chair closer and eyed the book from upside down.

Clover nodded "I bet, and you don't get to find out about what the weather's like till you get to a level with a window." she said though most of the time it didn't matter because of the unforms.
She shook her head "You say that but you did mean it when you said it. The way that you said it, Though at least your eye didn't twich. But if something happend in a class with one of the Ravenclaws you shouldn't hold it agenst the others." she said "Griffindors are the brave, Hufflpuffs are the heart, Ravinclaws are the brains and Slytherin are the cunning.... Who's the brawn? The teachers?" she chuckled a little at the small little joke at the end.
She smiled looking at him, "You and Attor are my good friends both of Slytherin. And Shockinly my long time friend Emma got sorted into Gryffindor. I didn't even know she was a witch.... Though I'm even more shocked that she's a Gryffindor. I bet her favort class is potions.... because it's closest to what she likes to do."
She looked at her astronomy book. "Cue Cards that might be a good idea, But seeing the picturs in the sky is hard... odd for someone who draws so much wouldn't you say?" she asked flipping to the page the asment had been on.

Dorian laughed at Clover's comment. "Yeah, sometimes it's hard to figure out what to wear on a given day. A few of the guys have to come back and change or get something warm to wear. I've got good hearing though, often times I can hear when it's raining or windy out."
Dorian sighed slightly and ran his hand through his hair. "Yeah, you're right. I did mean it. There's just this one that really bothers me. He gets on my nerves." He smiled at her joke. "I guess. Though they're mostly on the puny side if you've noticed."
Dorian was glad to hear that Clover had managed to make more friends since they had last met. He was a bit uneasy to hear that she was friends with Attor Pendragon but figured she knew what he was like. "Well that's probably a big surprise for you. It's good thought that one of your friends came to the school. Have you been showing her around?"
Dorian leaned back in the chair, thinking over Clover's difficulties. Why was it so hard? Perhaps it was the lighting? Or maybe it was that she didn't have good enough night sight. "Well..maybe you just don't see that well at night. I know there's a such a thing as night blindness. Maybe that's what it is."
He could see that his being there was more of a distraction for Clover and if she wanted to get her school work done he'd better stop talking and start helping. "Here, give me the astronomy book. Let's get to work."

Clover nodded "Yeah I guess that's true, though I didn't really mean it to be a pun." she said desiding to not mention Quill much more.
Clover nodded "Yeah saw her on the second Saterday after the classes started, so I could give her the gifts Grand-da and Grandma sent her, though they sent us each a locket aswell." she added
Clover thought about it "Yeah that is posible," though she was greatful to Dorian for hellping her with her astronomy homework, even if it nomraly was just copying maps of moons. This time howerver she was to conect the stars to show the constalations and that she knew where each were. She looked at the dots on the parchment then looked at the first constaltion by itself in her book then looked back at the parchment. "At least I don’t have to figure out wich constlation I’m born under." she said quitely trying to be positve about her blank star map full of dots not at all knowing where the constlation in the book was. Though slowly she eventaly found it and the other constlations having Dorian check it over.
Once done she closed her eyes then opened them stopping on her badge. "You know out of all the animals, for Hogwarts, the Hufflepuff badger is the only one that makes no sence, to me. The other three do, Gryffindor is the brave house and the Lion is normaly asosated with being brave. Ravenclaw well the name just sorta says it all. Then Slytherin was said to be a Parselmouth, thus the snake… but a bager… well they aren’t really all that nice like Hufflepuff is known for… Lion’s don’t even mess with bagers." she said with a chuckle.
"Oh I almost forgot," she said as she pulled the scroll that she had started her essy for History of Magic. She had about a foot and a half left to wright with her fancy style wrighting. "Dorian look in my art bag, you should find a green jewlery box with a golden tallon on the lid, You should find what’s inside proudent for our racing club. I’ve been wanting to show you, made them over the holloday." she said dipping her quill in the ink and started working on the scroll again.
When Dorien would open the Hollyhead Harrpies box he would find; a few modles of different animals waking a little, clip on pens that had the sneeker with wings that came in the all four house colors, and flag markers that changed colors and extending polls. "My grand-da helped with the polls of the flags so that they would mount down where ever you put them. So we could have them on stone or in grass." she said without looking up.
