It is year 2020, and it is a zombie apocalypse. In 2017, a race to cure all of the diseases of the world started, and all went well, cures and even improvements to health made a better world. However, on December 21st, 2019, within an asylum in new York, someone made a mistake. What was originally a possible cure for mental illness, released a deadly virus on America. It was tested on a mental patient, but it was deemed an immediate failure when he instead died. However, something strange had occurred the day after the failure, the mental patient stood. He became what the modern world referred to as a zombie.

In hopes of containing the virus, they (the scientists and staff) locked themselves in the asylum. Without many defenses, they became infected as well. All but one had become infected, Dr. Peter Mercer, one of the scientists who witnessed the birth of the virus. He claimed that he was allowed to leave before the lock-up to order the destruction of the asylum immediately, so that no one else would become infected. The demolition team under-estimated the strength of the asylum, and the surviving zombies began infecting, the virus quickly spread until the world knew.

A majority of the world's population went farther west, from Texas left to California, it is safe. However, there wasn't enough transportation, and 5% of Americans were left behind to die, 2% remained to rescue anyone that was left. You play as that 2% who were left behind, you and all the others who join will be a team of survivors who are trying to find and rescue whoever is left.

In order to become infected, someone or something with the virus must go past your skin layers, which can be obtained from a bite. If you become infected, you have a slow, painful death, then suddenly your brain functions and you are a zombie.

Description: She worked at a weapon shop with her father when she was 10 and still works their now. She mastered a gun at 10 and a dagger at 11. Everyday she practices and gets better every time. Sometime the army ask for weapons to use for war. When her father died she took over the shop still practicing her weapons and still selling.

Age: Twenty-seven

Gender: Male

Special Skills: Peter is an expert in understanding the virus, having been one of the people who accidentally created it. He is incredibly intelligent, a genius in his own right, and is the leader of the rescue project. Peter has some training in lethal and non-lethal combat, but it isn't that helpful against zombies. Due to the rescue project, he has learned how to use various weapons in order to perform a rescue, and has good accuracy with using a gun.

Description: Originally a scientist responsible for creating the deadly virus, Peter wanted help people so that they would forgive him for his mistake, being the sole survivor of the virus' creators. He is the leader of the rescue project, and has been at it ever since. Peter is also attempting to make a cure, he has faith that he will succeed.

Special Skills: Very skilled with a naginata, swords, and hand-to-hand combat. Raven is also a skilled tactician and very good with people.

Description: Raven had been with her family when the outbreak struck. She made sure her family was able to escape, but when it was her turn she decided to stay behind and help those left.

I understand that it may be easier, but its always more rewarding ifits tougher for the character.
