Powers and Abilities: Fire manipulation: He can create fire independantly without resources from his mouth or upper body.
Dragon transformation: Being dragon-born, Ryu can transform parts of his body into that of a dragon and has a unique relation to them.
Martial arts: Lastly, Ryu's trained in martial arts particularly Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee's technique) and the way of the samurai.
Weaknesses: In human form, he's basically weak against any mortal would be, even flames though he can manipulate it to do less harm. However in his dragon form he may be more resilient though his body is still organic.
How long have I been at the school: Just arrived.
My Personality
Likes: Fighting, training whether it be weights or not, and simple things such as lying in meadows or staring up at the sky.
Dislikes: Losing, people who don't like him and water (though his human form isn't harmed by such)
Bio: Ryu was once a hero who had quite a reputation fighting many wars throughout the land. A diplomatic leader of a rag-tag group who's purpose was to stop the reincarnation of the devil named Chaos. Prior to his current state, Ryu had many powers fufilled by his family heritage and rite. Morally upright and having an attitude to never let anyone down, Ryu seemed to be well on his way to defeating the devil Chaos sealed within his left arm. However, after finally confronting Chaos, Ryu was defeated and thus a great terror was unleash onto the world. Ryu did not know what Chaos's plans were but for the moment he could not rest until he could take responsibility for the evil he had unleashed. However, during one of his travels, a small village was attacked by a dragon, and Ryu took it upon himself to help these people first. Ryu along with some local authorities brought down and killed the fiery dragon. However, the body wasn't recovered as it transformed into a wisp like state and was re-absorbed into Ryu giving him dragon-like abilities. Unfortunately, this made Ryu go rampant as he, himself turned into the Red dragon that terrorized the town.
Ryu doesn't recall much of anything after this incident as he simply found himself awake somewhere in an open field. He has no memories of the origin of his powers, nor of his family and friends. His skills and powers he remembers somewhat, but nothing of how they came to be. Incidentally, Ryu had arrived in the town of Utopia, hoping to find some information on who he used to be. Currently he's enrolled in the warrior academy and so his journey begins...
Other:He loves sushi and reads alot of "Jump" manga. Ryu has a terrible sense of direction and during his travels he's used to being dirt-poor. His bloodline and previous powers as a hero remain dormant, as the amnesia caused by absorbing the Red dragon essence left him at a fraction of what he was. His eyes before the incident were teal coloured and allowed visions to the future, but he's lost that ability for now. His hair is also black coloured, making him stand out less as compared to his fiery red hair before. Overall, Ryu is much more meek and unassuming as compared to his time as a hero. His previous characteristics may arise if the need shows itself however...
