The night was dark and Tamie was still very lost. She had been curled up before at the base of a tree before and even been so alone as to wish on a star. Still she was alone now and walking home in the dark. The stars where out, but the moon was covered by dark clouds. Shivering she looked around feeling scared. Being alone in the dark was finally starting to become nerve wracking. She stopped trying to figure out how to get home and instead tried to figure out how to find a safe spot to sleep for the night. She was glad that it wasn’t too cold out she could curl up in the roots of a tree if she could find an opening big enough to sneak under. Finally after wandering Tamie found herself at the edge of Epheria due to the darkness Tamie couldn’t see the edge of the water and jumped when she suddenly felt something cold on her paws. Stepping back Tamie was glad when the moon danced out from behind the clouds. The lake reflected beautifully in the eerie light. Tamie stood for a moment transfixed while the warm breeze tickled her and surface of the water.

(( SO SORRY. Here's your response, sweetie <333333 Forgive meeeeee. )) As the stars twinkled they listened. A tiny wish graced their presence, and they considered a response. However, most turned it aside. Everyday they were asked for presents and dreams to be accomplished, and everyday they had to choose a handful to accept. This dream, this wish.... they rejected it only because it was so simple.
Yet, one star wavered, and slowly it grew dim. Suddenly, it was hurtling to the ground, hurtling towards Earth. Suddenly, it was ramming its way through the clouds, and colliding into water. The splash was epic, and the sound rumbled the fields. It was a frightening sound, and the lake was not the same afterwards.
From the waters glowed a eerie color. Something stirred, and then a figure stumbled out of the water, gasping for air. It struggled, and then it collapsed. If one drew close, they would notice it was a male, and he was breathing heavy. His broad, strong shoulders shuddered violently, toned body twitching before the male blacked out completely.
The stars above twinkled in excitement, shocked that one of their own had done the unthinkable. Not only granting a wish, but by sacrificing itself to create a rather divine being. This male was special.

(Tis ok. RL decided to be a ... well lets just say not so nice.)
Why was the moonlight getting brighter? Tamie turned her head to look up at the moon and to her surprise it wasn’t the moon making the light. Whatever it was happened to be really really bright. Tamie shut her eyes and could still ‘see’ the light. She whimpered and backed up. Sadly with her eyes still closed all she managed to do was to trip herself up and land on her butt. The was a large splash and a sudden noise that sounded like lightning and thunder right next to her. Tamie screamed loudly in fear and dropped down onto her stomach. She was to scared to move and laid there shivering.
She peeked out from under a paw and was shocked to see the lake glowing for a moment. The glow faded as something burst through the top waters. Tamie wanted to run away. Surely whatever could cause that glow would be something very bad, but her body wouldn’t move. As the glow faded all the light in the world seemed to fade too. Soon the only the stars offered any clue as to what was going on. Tamie saw a galadier splash onto the shoreline not too far from her. The glow was gone and Tamie was scared that the poor gladier had been swimming when whatever it was had hit the water. She crept forward timidly and saw the other gladier was breathing, but it seemed to be only just. Not knowing what to do she grabbed the gladier by the back of his neck and dragged him further from the water’s edge. It took a lot of her strength and as tired as she was she only managed to drag him a few yards. She may not be brave but she couldn’t leave someone hurt right in front of her. It was strange the male was warm even though the lake was always so cold. She wasn’t sure what to make of it, but she didn’t want the male to catch chill so she curled around him as much as her small body would allow.

When he came to it was morning. His eyes fluttered opened and a low, strange groan escaped his unused lips. It was strange being born, for it was not a birth most would expect. He knew how to speak, perhaps later he'd be surprised if someone pointed out he knew how to speak several languages. He knew words, thoughts, and he knew items. He knew what a tree was. He knew what dirt was. However, what he didn't know was traditions, habits. Manners. He also didn't know the small curled up creature beside him.
Shifting, he considered moving away. However, she looked tired. Tired and small. He hadn't been here when he collapsed, she must have moved him. Such a sweet thing to do. A smirk touched his lips, head resting on her neck. Well, he'd stay put for now then.

Odd there was a weight on her neck. Tamie didn’t want to move in case it was one of Rubido’s pranks. Opening her eyes very slowly she realized that it couldn’t have been a prank of her friends since she was outside and in one of the glades. Rubido only ever seemed to play pranks at home. If she wasn’t at home, then she was safe from pranks. Whatever it was wasn’t heavy and it didn’t hurt. In fact it felt quite pleasant. Turning her head just slightly she saw the body of the male she had been dragged from the water. She couldn’t see his head but she guessed that was what was on her neck. She was a bit scared. What if this gladier wasn’t nice. She hadn’t thought aobut it when she had taken him from the shore, but now that she was just lying there she wasn’t certain what she did had been the right thing to do. Shivering she tried her best to keep her breathing and movement to a minimum.

A shiver. She was cold, or so he believed. However, maybe she was scared? Worried, the male shifted away, viewing the girl quietly. He didn't know where he was, or really who he was. He was confused, and as he viewed her he wondered briefly if he had broke some custom. Or offended her. The male shifted, opening his mouth and then closing it.
"Where am I?" He finally asked, glancing about him and the world around. It was clear he was confused by the way his ears flicked back. Who was he?

She looked at him when the weight from her neck disappeared. He was looking at her quietly with strangely intense eyes. It was as though they could see straight into her soul. When he asked where he was she considered how to answer it. He was by the lake of course, but that didn’t seem right to just say so she spoke softly to him hoping not to worry him.
“You’re by the lake in Epheria glade. There was a bright light and something hit the water. You must have been swimming because you climbed out and collapsed on the shore. I.” She cleared her throat. “I moved you a bit away from the water. How do you feel?”

Aaah. A lake. He quickly placed the name in the back of his mind for later, eyes raising and focusing firmly on the woman. How did he feel? Strange. Wrong. Yet oddly at peace despite his inability to know who he was or how he got there. This woman was warm, her eyes causing a stir of emotion within his stomach. How peculiar.
"Hungry." He suddenly, without thinking, blurted, a blush forming on his face as the quiet male looked away and covered his cheeks with a raised arm. His stomach loudly rumbled in response, his eyes grimacing at the embarrassment and betrayal of his body. Really? Was he meant to be this uncool before this woman?

Tamie blushed by the gaze he had used looking her over before answering. When he finally answered she could only stare and blink surprised by his choice of words. Of all things that would not have entered her mind, but at least he was honest which was nice. His stomach’s agreement to his answer made her laugh. “I understand. I’m a bit hungry myself.” Her tail wagged as she thought about what was nearby to eat. She nibbled her lowed lip thinking . “mm.. Well I know were some berry bushes are but they aren’t really close. Can you walk?” She didn’t know how he was really doing. She yawned and looked around trying to remember the way to food.
