I just want to propose an addition to the medic nin rules. Quote: Name: Chakra Transferal Technique Description: The act of transferring your chakra to another person is as simple as molding your chakra, thus any ninja who has done chakra molding at some point can use it. Simple lay your hands upon the one you intend to transfer your chakra to and will it to go to them. Rank: D CP Cost: 1.5x amount given Attack Turns: 3 Reflex DC: N/A Damage: Can give up to a max of [level x 2 + chakra mod +2 for 4 chakra control] (As per medical ninjutsu skill bonus, add +2 per 4 ranks in medical ninjutsu since there is no range.) Requirements: Chakra Control 5 or Medical Ninjutsu 10 Training: 2 stages Stage I: Chakra Control DC 20, Convert your chakra into a neutral pallet. Strip it of its elemental ties.Stage II: Medical Ninjutsu DC 22, Force your chakra into a living target and give it new life.Special: *Allows the user to determine chakra donated to target anywhere between 1 and the max determined by the above formula. Cannot be on unconscious target. Owner: PupSage *Available for anyone*

This would be an extension of the current med nin rules yes? So this is an addendum to the Minor chakra heal jutsu? Or is this a jutsu all to itself? If it's a jutsu all by itself, then you should fill out the proper form, as it were. I would probably make it a jutsu all to itself. (Chakra transfer) or something of the like.
confused I do think this is a good idea though. This basis is totally sound, so just give it a more offifical make over and I'll give my approval.

Hmmm....I agree with Ghost. It sounds like it should be a separate jutsu entirely. One for Cp, one for Hp. The formula looks good and have no disagreements with it. Fill out it out and you'll have 2 ^^

The Ghost of Xmas Awesome I am simply proposing this as an amendment to the medic nin rules. Such as instructions for treating burns and whatnot that are found in the medic nin's guide to life. It was demonstrated in the anime as being a rather simple use technique and was done by non-medics, so it should be a technique open to all.

Uh huh, confused but how is the process even including the med-nin skill in any way, as you've got it written above? It is clearly an effect formula, not a skill check. And a skill check would suggest that it WAS only reserved for medic nin. A jutsu, pending on the requirements, could be open to all. This jutsu seems like it would be the reverse of the Chakra Kyūin Jutsu (Chakra Absorption Technique) but since it's a non hostile transference, I'd say that the requirements could be taken down a tad. Lower it to a D-rank jutsu, with suited chakra and ninjutsu requirements, but state that the skill bonus for it belongs to med ninjutsu. That way someone with no points in med nin could still use it in the form of the formula you have above, but med nin themselves use it far more effectively. Open to all, but still rewarding people who are med nin. Fair? I realize if it was skill check it could help you in your current mission right away without you having to learn it, but at least now in the future you'd be able to have it ready.

It's not just the med nin thing (though that does improve your chances.) it's that you make it sound like anyone with chakra can give to someone else. And I don't think it's that easy. I believe the idea is that you have to know how to convert your chakra so that others can accept it, in which case, it's more a technique then something you just try off the bat. I mean for example it can't be healthy for a someone with Lightning affinity to try forcing their chakra into someone with earth affinity. Having foreign chakra in your body is widely regarded as bad thing...true this is given willingly and not with hostile intent, but I don't know... emotion_zzz *meditate* Okay. here's my terms. Put it in a similar manner to Wall walking or water walking. Make it so that you must pass a certain DC, med nin, maybe 20 or so, five times to be able to use the technique properly, but even without proper experience it can be done less efficiently. Make the transfer for untrained people as above, half the chakra given received, and add a penalty of -5 hp to recipient if they have a different elemental affinity than the user, per post. While as for people who are fully certified, as it were, can cleanly transer 2/3 of the chakra given, and with the max level+ med nin+ Chakra mod+int. Also no penalty for someone with a different affinity. Would that compromise suit you?

xd Do you have something against medical ninjutsu or something? Medical ninjutsu is the actual ACT of using chakra to deal with human body, it'd be easier for them then water walking if it's so simple a thing to do, right?
And what's more Medical ninjutsu is a non stat governed skill. I don't think it would need more skill to transfer chakra than to HEAL physical damage with it.
By the by, did you look at the requirements for a D-rank jutsu? 3nodding 5-15 on skill and stat requirements. When I said to make it a D-rank justu, that's what I meant. 30 would be for a B-rank jutsu or around. Lower those to suit the rank, or make it a higher ranked jutsu, whichever you prefer.
This is clearly a medical ninjutsu, so stipulate that,(this only means the skill bonus for it will come from medical ninjutsu) and I'll have no further problems and give my approval. Once again, I'm sorry, but this IS clearly a medical ninjutsu. Giving your chakra to someone else is not as easy as one two three.
neutral Whatever examples you have from canon that would suggest otherwise, I don't really recall them. The only one's I've ever seen was by Tsunade giving her chakra to her slug right before Pein cut loose, and the other medical nin using it to transferring her healing chakra to the villagers. Other than that the only thing I've seen it used for that weird variation of it those filler villains had...and I don't acknowledge filler arcs as part of canon.
Now that said I am not perfect, if you've another example of it that you have seen where it's shown as an easy thing to do, and isn't being done by a medical ninja or someone with medical ninja training, I will be happy to change my mind.
The only reason I'm putting my foot down here is that you seem to be shunning the people who actually bothered to put points into medical ninjutsu so they could create characters that were capable of healing, and that's what this is.
You should at the very least have to sacrifice a few points you wouldn't have had to otherwise for this ability, because hell, what's a few chakra control points for a ninjutsu specialist? They already have a crap ton of those. So no, I'm not going okay it being optional to have medical ninjustu for a requirement, but you can lower both of them to fit D-rank parameters, as I said above. And I am set to this being a medical ninjutsu, because that is SO what this is. xd I am sorry, but there's really a slim chance of convincing me away from that.
This way you won't have to put too many skill points into med to use it, but people who do will be able to use it far more effectively, which makes sense considering the nature of the jutsu. Do you disagree? If so, why?

For the requirements... because it is a medical ninjutsu, wouldn't you think it would be easier for a med nin to learn how to transfer chakra than the average person? As you can tell with my clan's jutsu I'm still learning the ropes with making jutsu and this is the first thing I spotted.
Second, the formula. We want to let med nin be more effective with this technique, correct? What about removing the Int mod from the formula and replacing it with something like... .5 Med Ninjutsu or .25 Chakra Control? The Minor Heal only has 1-10 + CHK Mod and Int is more so for genjutsu or learning things faster. Masa's would then be [11x2] + 13 + 8 = 35 thus making it 23 like your last formula but Batsu's would be [11x2] + 7 + 12 = 41x.66 = 27? Just a thought. Of course they would have the option of using either CC or Med Nin (of course picking the highest but Med Nin are supposed to be smart, right? xP)... Besides the Ninjutsu skill aids in the power of of the jutsu, so why would Medical Ninjutsu aid in the amount it heals? Just a thought ^^ An idea that either one of you two can toss or edit to your liking. Figured it may help out.

xd Okay okay, Med nin bonus is applied to ALL medical ninjutsu. Ninjutsu is supposed to deal with the more offensive type of jutsu, exodus. That's why skill with med ninjutsu would increase the amount healed, merely because you are more skilled with it. But you don't need to add the Med nin bonus in the actual formula. Just make it a Med ninjutsu, then the standard 2-4 per 4 points in the skill would be applied automatically.
Just have the "damage" for the jutsu be [level x 2 + chakra mod +2 for 4 chakra control] and make it a medical ninjutsu, to the medical jutsu is applied automatically. And then have the chakra cost be: "1.5 higher than the chakra given." Then the special can say: "Allows the user to determine chakra donated to target anywhere between 1 and the max determined by the above formula. Cannot be on unconscious target." and it'll be fine by me.
