The Dome [In-Character Thread]

It had been years after the 'sin' war, the fighting was brutal and Shadows lack of purpose had given him a new found drive to make a place for himslef after the war. In the 12 squad dome,a training/testing area, Shadow was training hard. Able to activate his mask 'Omen' on command after years of training, he was now trying to take control of its power without losing control of himself. standing in the middle of the dome, he looked over his battered and bloody form as he recorded his findings "huff....huff....." Shadow was breathing heavily. "Omen was never meant to be used like this. It was a final resort that makes one a berserker to kill the target no matter what." Looking over his notes "Unlike hollows taking over a vizard, it just makes me closer to an animal backed into a corner." He looks over the test field, the damage even without his zan on hand could be seen. "However,it is too wild to clarify who is friend and foe,and dose more harm then good. I must tame that beast so it can be of use if another tradgity breaks lose. Computer, raise energy levels 13% to counter reitsu feedback. Make the rooms gravity 2-3 fold to keep damage to a minimum. testing in 5...4...3...2...1.." As the walls stared to make sounds of power flowing into them, Shadow's mask appeared on his face along with a spike in power. The increase of down force kept him from moving much,but the area around him got torn up from the sheer density of his reitsu. Some stone targets of hollow, arrancar, and shinigami appeared as to test shadows ability to know allies from enemies. After a wile the comuter shut the test down as shadow lay on his back looking up, the shinigami targets where dented and broken,but the other ones where utterly demolished. Laughing in pain on the ground,shadow puts a hand up to his face. "finally,now to work on the control." he gets up,but then stumbles over to a rock nearby." I might want to get medical help before I continue."

Shadow jerks to attention when Yuki walks in and speaks to him. He carefully picks himself up and looks in Yuki's direction. "You ask if Im ok, yet you sound like my condition doesn't matter. As for your question yes Im in pain, always in pain. but it doesn't matter to you." Shadow goes over to a wall and opens a pannal revealing some first aid gear. as he mends himself, in a un-trusting tone "so, to what do I owe the pleasure of this visit,LT. Suzyuki? It is not every day anyone comes to visit squad 12, let alone me." He finishes up the first aid and puts the box away. thinking to himself 'I still cant fathom it. Lt. Suzyuki acts and looks so identical to my sister. And yet I know she is not my Yuki. Still, it is amazing just how many mysteries the world has.' Shadow then pulls up the video of his last attempt of his power 'Omen'. "If you came here to check up on me, then the dome's walls must not have the power needed to keep my hollow powers contained. I should postpone my test until I can find a new power souse or a sparing partner"

Shadow gave a look of shock as Shingo dropped down. scoffing sarcastically " I must be losing my touch if i did not notice someone else in the room, but i would guess finding you is close to impossible,captain Yakazu . I am, however, grateful that you are keeping watch, but i have set a program into the dome to ramp up the pressure in here to pin me to the floor if that ever happens." He looked around the room at the carnage he made "but you are right if you are implying this power is a hazard to anyone around me. That's why im working to control it and use it,even if its a little at a time." he turns his head back to the video "but this is taking too long, and this power is more like a hollow's. I would need sparing partners to get this under control faster." he turns off the video and sighs. then Shadow turns to face the two and bows his head " I humbly ask, if you would be so kind, to help me by training with me,captain Yakazu and Lt. Suzyuki."

Shadow let out a sigh at Yuki's comment "it would make seance if i had an inner hollow, but thats not the case here. The additions to me add hollow aspects to me. The mask is a last resort 'frenzy' ability that kicks in if im close to death." turning his gaze over to Shingo " it is the fact that i have my seances, but a programmed filter blocks my normal judgment. To be fair i would rather not use zans in this match, but feel free to use the and both attack me if you wish. i would rather get ganged up on then have my power underestimated." Shadow readys his hand over his face" Let me know when you are ready. Then we will start"

Shadow let out a momentary sigh,then his power spiked so fast and high it caused his cuts to reopen. The blood from the wounds fell for a wile then flew into the air and onto his face,forming a mask of a deep red hue. As soon as it stopped he looked at Yuki, the last one to say anything, then ran at her fist raised screaming like a hollow. The sight would make lesser men cower in fear. Shadow quickly closed the gap a red energy formed around his hand as a cero formed on the end of his arm-guard. as he punched the cero shoot out in the opposite way to propel his fist forward wile the reitsu in his hand was a bara ready to go off."OMEN,OMEN,OMEN" was the only thing that shadow yelled that seemed to be understandable at the moment, as if it was chanting. a closer look at shadow's wounds showed his blood becoming a red mist,then raw reitsu. This exsplaned how he was able to fight at such high levels of power but in return take more damage. it was like nitro for cars in the world of the living, a big boost but ruins the car.

The blast sent shadow back into a wall, but he picks himself up mostly unscathed. however he looks at captain Shingo for a moment the says"hollow......shinigami........need power!!!" Shadow turns to the location of his sword,sitting on a rock gereated by the terrain, but stops moving after 3 steps, as if something was restraining him from retreaveing it." Break, break the chains ......need to free myself from shinigami .....self." Shadow looks back over to captain Shingo and flash steps to him"FREE ME, CREO TWISTER!" Shadow then curled into a ball as a cero like ring formed around him,spinning like a buzz saw. He then propells himself into(or at least into your direction) Shingo's chest via two other ceros acting as thrusters.
