Welcome to the Henrick Family's HouseLocation: London
The House The brick house itself is quite new. The lawn is neatly trimmed and decorated with just the right amount of flowers and bushes. The atmosphere is welcoming and hospitable. A cute little doormat that says "Welcome!" sits peacefully in front of the door.
The Backyard The yard space isn't as big as the Henricks wished, but suitable for the size of the family. It's a piece of land covered in grass, with an entourage of flower beds. Sitting in a corner is a tiny little shed that houses the different gardening tools and construction tools.
The First Floor When you enter the house, to the left are the stairs that lead up to the second floor. To the right is a study encased in books. The room is decorated to be similar to a Victorian era room. That's Chase's favorite place to be, besides his room.
Straight ahead is the living room with enough couches to sit seven people and a TV big enough to satisfy the children. To the left of the living room is the kitchen. All of the walls are painted pure white. The open concept plan makes the space seem bigger than it is and gives a feel of breeziness and relaxation. The wooden cabinets and the granite counter tops makes a great addition to the stainless steel appliances. In the kitchen is a double glass door leading to the yard.
To the right of the living room is a hallway that leads to a half bathroom and the guest room.
The Second Floor At the second floor, five different rooms exist: A bathroom, three regular-sized rooms, and a master bedroom. Each children decorated their rooms the way they liked. Chase's room is filled with books and research notes. Sun's room is filled with action figures and trading game cards. Autumn's room is decorated with princesses and tiaras, with pink and purple walls. Under her bed is a collection of books she took from her big brother Chase.
The Attic The attic is filled with items deemed to be useless by the family. Occasionally, one Henrick will go up to the attic and dig up a bauble.
The Basement The finished basement is separated into two parts. The first part contains a running machine, two more couches, and a TV sitting snugly on a stand in a corner. It could be considered to be another living room.
The second part is separated from the first part by a double door, which is always kept open. There, that's where the musical instruments are located, as well as the washer and dryer. An unfinished jigsaw puzzle sits lonely on the floor in a forgotten corner.
