I am part of an online game called Second Life and there I am a Lady of a clan called Crimson Republic. Well on my profile, I was compelled to write a story on how I came to be known as Lady Black Lycan. However there was just not enough space and thus the story was shortened. Since then, I have been writing about it in Word. Main Character: Name: Serena Zerbino Age: She ain't telling Pictures: Human: Lycan: Serena was out hunting and a little girl stopped her from killing her prey. Ever since that time, Serena has been haunted by that girl and is trying to find out why she feels so drawn to this girl. As time went on, Serena and her father grew closer to a coven of vampires that were kind and gentle to the so called enemies of vampires. There they meet Zen Karilion. They spark an instant friendship with him and slowly began to create what is known as Crimson Republic. Soon Zen falls in love with a human woman and bites her, turning her vampire. Serena gets that same feeling and later finds out that the woman is the same girl who she met when the woman was a little girl. Zen and Jade become King and Queen of Crimson Republic, Serena's father, Trever, is adopted by Jade as her brother and thus growing the family. You feel like commenting? Part 1: The Hunt
In the dead of night, with golden eyes and a quiet breath, a huge black wolf with golden streaks running through her fur sets her eyes of what seemed to be a lone passerby as he walked on a tree lined path in the local park. The she wolf could smell the innocence of the young man and could hear the blood pumping through his veins as if it called to her, enticed this she wolf to come taste it. After a while of tracking the man, she jumped out of the shadows and knocked the man down. Her instincts had driven her to take his neck into her mouth and urged her to clamp down until she heard a small cry come from behind them. With the man's neck still in her mouth, the she wolf turned and gazed upon a small child. A small little girl who's eyes were as blue as sapphires and stared at this huge she wolf with sheer horror painted across her face. The little girl cried out to the wolf "Don't hurt my daddy! He's done nothing to you!" The she wolf felt pity in her heart and left them, droping the man from her muzzle. The little girl never leaving her thoughts.
A few months later, the she wolf was out again, hunting, lurking in the shadows of the trees looking for her prey. The night of her last hunt still playing in her mind. The little girl whose eyes bore holes into her memory, the taste of defeat by such a small child. The she wolf growled quietly at herself for backing away from a meal like that because of that small girl. What was it about this girl that would not let her rest at night? The only way she could ever find out was to hunt that girl down and figure it out why. The she wolf nosed the air to see if maybe per chance that the girl was near, but alas, it was not to be. The girl's scent was long gone from the place. But a scent that made her mouth water as she sniffed the air was present. A young buck was just in her reach. A perfect meal for her, she caught the sight of it in her eyes and stalked towards it, careful not to make a sound. It what takes a moment to blink, the deer had been killed due to her sheer amount of muscle and power that gives her a better advantage over the "normals". Wolves of her breed called all the wolves who were smaller than them "normals" due to the fact that they were not just wolves, but Lycans. A powerful breed who can change form at will, who have great speed and power. Just like wolves, Lycans lived in packs but hunted alone.
As the night went on, the little girls eyes plagued her mind. The she wolf had to find this girl and figure out why she gave in so easily to her. The lycan took on her human form, a young woman with locks of flowing golden hair, her body like a model's. It's easy to say that this woman was perfect. The woman walked out to the forest and into the city, turning heads as she walked. She paid no mind to the heads but what was going on in her head. She needed to hunt down this girl and get to the bottom of this.
As her search went on, most of everywhere she went came up empty. The woman decided that it would be best to just sit down for awhile and eat some human food. She opted for ice cream and headed into a nearby parlor. As soon as she walked in the door, she froze in her tracks. The scent of that girl so strong it was making her salivate. The girl was there. The woman jerked her head left and right trying to find the epicenter of the sweet smell. There, in a corner, with her father, was the girl. Coming back to her senses when the worker behind the counter called out to her, the she wolf walked up to the counter and spoke her order. Receiving her order, the she wolf made her way to a table close to the two. She studied the girl as she ate her ice cream, but everything that she studied told her that this girl was normal as can be. When the girl's father got up to go to the bathroom, the little girl stayed behind. Using this moment, the she wolf tried to see if she could easily talk to the girl.
"I couldn't help but notice how beautiful your eyes are dear. I see great potential as a model in your future." the she wolf tried to keep the subject light and like a normal human would say. But what she was expecting came so much differently.
"You know, my daddy said not to talk to strangers, but I feel like I have met you somewhere before." The little girl responded back. This made the she wolf panic. How could she tell that she was that wolf who nearly killed her father? "But I like your eyes too. They remind me of gems that I see in the magazine that my father looks through to search for the best engagement ring for his girlfriend." The little girl got down from her seat and went to go sit with the she wolf. "My father says that he loves his girlfriend so much that this ring that he wants to get will prove it to her. I don't see why adults have to be so complicated all the time."
"Well, I just think your father want to make her part of the family. And with that ring, it helps him step in the right direction." What was she doing? She has to find out why this girl makes her feel so defeated. "In any case, do you like his girlfriend? Is she good to you?" Now she starts getting mad at herself. Why is she trying to help this girl out?
"She's nice but she'd not my mom. My mom was way prettier than her. If I had to compare, she is about as pretty as you."
"Really. Where is your mom? Has she kept in contact with you?"
"I don't know where she is but I really want to see her again. I want to know why she left me and daddy." The little girl looked to her shoes and her eyes sparkled in the light that seeped in from the outside.
"Well, I do travel a lot, maybe I can help you find her." Ok...this girl is driving her instincts insane. Her soft side continues to show. But things stopped as her father came back.
"Jadeke, what have I told you about talking to strangers? They can be dangerous and draw you in by being nice." Her father wasn't too happy but she understood.
"Dear sir. My intentions meant no harm. I simply commented on her eyes and then we started talking. I didn't meant to cause a problem. Now, if you will excuse me, I must be getting home." The she wolf made her way outside and into an alley way. She couldn't place why this girl felt so important to her still but only time will tell. The she wolf watched the girl and her father leave and she made her way back to the outskirts of town. She went back into the tree line and returned to her fur coat and the comfort of the forest. She may have been at the end of her road, but her hunt for the meaning of this child was just beginning.
