For one reason or another you have decided to move out of your family's house and try being on your own. Well not really on your own but with a roomate without your parents hovering over your shoulders. Perhaps you're out of college or just getting in but either way. See one of your friends finds this awesome house that is actually pretty cheap however it's HUGE. You think about it and decide to get a bunch of roommates to help you. A few of your friends at first are the only ones who want to. Then things start to get weird.

You put up a poster at train stations and some schools. It read: Large house for students. Looking for roommates to help pay rent and take care of. Anyone is welcome from anywhere just be able to speak english.: End of poster. Later you would wonder who thought to write that but for now you had better things to do. You've just settled in with your three friends and were starting to wonder if anyone else would ever contact you. One morning you or your friend answers a phone call. A young sounding girl is on the other end asking if you still need roommates. Of course the answer is yes. She sounds absolutely extatic as she seems to call to others that you guys are. Next thing you know she's saying that her and seven other people are intersted. The house is plenty big enough and of course this means your share of rent is even less. So you all agree and get ready to welcome your new visitors. With absolutely no idea what they are like.

Roles

If it's got a name instead of a title it's taken other wise it's open. Reserves are advised but not necassary. Just send a pm saying who you want to reserve and I'll save it for one day(24 hrs).

First Group- this is the main group of four people. The ones who bought the mansion and are renting out the rooms. I decided it would be one girl and three boys just for the fun of it.

Marshall Wayne (Weirdness Magnet): Taken By Black Honeydew Syndrome He's your normal every day student who just wants to survive. He works through college but bad luck seems to always find him. Luckily he has his friends to help him or else he doesn't know where he'd be. He's often times walking under ladders and almost getting run over, or simply turning in the wrong direction at the wrong time. Yet somehow one of his friends always helps him out of it.

Tyler Joans(You Wish You Were Me) :Taken By I Want To Be Your LightHe is the popular one. The womanizer and sweet talker. with no lack in confidence he has been the Weirdness magnets best friend since they were kids and are practically brothers. He tends to prefer older women and always has a aura of coolness to him. As far as he's concerned no one can resist him. He's protective of his sister but also a bit scared of her wrath.

Roxanne Joans (Don't Mess With Me): Taken by Bishie M E L O N Ramune The sister of The "you wish you were me". She had to grow up with an idiotic older brother who is always getting in to trouble. She never really minded his ways but she still tries to keep him in line. She treats everyone like a young sibling and is always the gun to it sensible person. She decided to live here as damage control. Other wise the boys would live off junk and never get anything done.

(Why am I here?) : Open This guy really never understands why he's friends with the other three. He's smart and good looking but not really a socialite. He likes to study but somehow always gets dragged into the crazy stuff. He grew a soft spot for everyone in his group but acts like he really could care less.

The Weird Ones - This is the group who called about the rooms. There's something strange about these eight, that just makes them seem out of this world. The eight have been living together in a creepy mansion for years. They're close as can be and completely used to eachother.

Connalee J. Worchester(Gloomy Bear) : Taken by IQ the Undead Toxin This young woman looks a lot older then she really is and often seems cold or quiet at first. However she has a gloomy out look on life and will threaten to kill herself often. Everything is hopeless this and hopeless that. However it's hard to say if she'd ever really do it. By the list of names for double suicides most think she's serious.

Belle T. and Bvorn K. Beatrix(Something Wicked) : Taken by Rainy Day Jester These two believe strongly in the paranormal and believe they are the descendents of powerful witches. They are always collecting odd things for their "spells" and can be really creepy at times. One has a thing for skulls and is always carrying one while the other likes to dress in robes and other dark attire. No one is sure if they really can do magic but weird things tend to happen when they are around. (Don't actually have powers just happen to be good at making it seem so.)

Jane Austin (Coffin Creep) : Taken Dorothy R Smith This girl is very pale with stricking red eyes. She seems dark but yet she's not really all that creepy. Things tend to point to her being a vampire. Like her bed that's shaped like a coffin, the odd red "juice" that she keeps stashed in a mini-fridge. She seems to like lollita clothing most and always has a doll with her. She's afraid of the sun and will only go out in it if she's covered from head to toe. She's odd and more then a little bit fearful. (She's not really a vampire)

Oliver Harlow(Flip a Coin): Taken by Adamantine Eclipse This person has two sides to themselves. One is sweet and nice just like any normal person but the other is like a mafia boss. Scary and over the top with a super strength. Oddly the normal is week and a bit klutzy where the bad side is strong and fast like no one else. They switch at random times and can be kind of a bother. There's only one person that both personalities seem to agree on as a great friend. The Ghostly Grave girl has known this guy for the longest even before they met the rest.

(Trick or Treat Twins):Open These two are probably more normal then the rest...well other then the over dramatic side of them. They love to play practical jokes and are obsessed with candy. You can get on their good side with any kind of candy except toffy. They hate the stuff. The two of them are normally dressed in some kind of strange costume atire and always love to mess with someones head.

(Ghostly Grave Girl): Open This girl is like a walking ghost with pure white skin and a tendency to hide her eyes she's got an air of mystery around her. She's pretty lacidazical and doesn't talk a lot. Often times people think she can't talk. She's really close to the Flip a Coin guy and seems to be stronger then she looks. She's talented in many areas but doesn't like to have people know.

Roxanne Joans had moved into the house as more of a mother then anything else. She knew that if she left the boys alone in this place to their own devices they would be living like pigs. Now her room wasn't the cleanest, but that was her room. The rest of the house was in the process of being recleaned for their new guests. Currently she was moping the kitchen while she kept an eye on the breakfast casarole she had in the oven.

Roxanne wasn't sure where her brother was or what the others were doing. The night before she'd asked them all to wake up early and help her clean. It wasn't that hard, all she wanted from them was the floor vacumed, the electronics and furnishing dusted, and the garbage taken out. She'd already washed the dishes and cleaned the bathrooms.

She wasn't asking them to dress up, hell she wasn't even dressed up. She was in her favorite striped shirt, short black shorts, and over the knee orange socks. Her hair never behaved but she had it in messy pigtails as always. Roxanne figured it would be alright, she wanted these new people to see them as they were. After all they were all going to be living together. Though they knew almost nothing about eachother. Which worried her a little bit.

Connalee J. Worchester

Waking up early, meant you had to of slept. Connalee hadn't slept in days, she never did sleep well. In fact some people said that if she didn't kill herself first, her lack of sleep would. However today she was busy as always. She sat at the kitchen with a very sharp knife and an orange. Muttering. Muttering. Muttering to herself.

"Just a quick cut, a simple stab....painful only for a second....no worries, no more....simple...."

She fidgeted with the knife before finally cutting the orange in half. She peeled half of it and began munching on it. The house they were moving out of that day was old, it was broken down, falling apart, and down right dangerous. It had built up a reputation as a haunted house. Possibly something to do with the occupants, the gallows out back, the crypt, the boarded up windows, ect...

Today, this very morning, was the last one they would spend there. Most of the heavy moving had already been done by a company. All that was left was the people and their more precious belongings.

"Woe, despair....abandonment..."

Connalee fussed in between bites of the citrus fruit. She was not happy, then again she was never happy. However she liked this house, to a point. Aside from the fact it was always trying to kill her. She had lived here for years, it had been her families house and she had rented it out to her friends slowly and surely over the years. Now they were all leaving it. Even here.

"Oh how cruel I am!"
Connalee wailed in despair and held the knife to her throat as she looked to the ceiling. "To abandon my home! The place of my raising! I don't deserve to be part of this planet!" She cried in an upset state. All in the house would be used to this, some might even sleep through it.

Today was the last day to pack up before their little group of misfits moved on to ... greener pastures as it were. Oliver stood looking down at the half full box with a sigh. It was only when he went to move somewhere new that he realized he had some very strange possessions. He woke up this morning to the half packed box full of things he didn't remember ever having. You would think he would remember bringing home half a cinder block, but no...

Anyway, back to packing. Oliver put the rest of his stuff in the large box talking to himself making a checklist as he went. "Pillows and blankets? Check. Hairbrush, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste? Double check." Looking around the room one last time and deciding that there wasn't anything else he wanted to take he nodded. He closed up the box and turned back to the nightstand to grab his stuffed cow Yuki. The animal had been his constant companion since he was 5 when his cousin gave it to him for his birthday.

Now came the hard part. Getting the rather heavy box downstairs. Oliver has never been very strong or even particularly athletic, yet some people swore he was stronger than he looked. Holding Yuki in one arm he grabbed one of the handles on the box and began dragging it towards the stairs. When he got there, he was out of breath and leaning over. Suddenly he stood up and kicked the box, sending it careening down the flight of stairs and bouncing out the door with a resounding crash. "That's right! Take that you infernal box! How dare you stand in my way! Do you know who I am? Bwahahahaha-ha?" Was he just saying something? Oh well. While he was spaced out some one must have grabbed the box for him. As he walked downstairs he spotted Connalee in the kitchen.

Oliver leaned into the doorway. He could never be sure when she would just turn around and yell at him. He wasn't sure, but he thought she had some sort of mental problem like multiple personalities or something. "M-Morning, Connalee. Have you finished packing yet?" he tried being civil, but she was holding a knife which could mean anything...

Connalee J. Worchester

Knife blade against her throat, the sharp blade just barely pressed against her skin. Her hands were unwavering, yet she still hadn't done it. Her eyes closed and she inhaled in preparation for the cut. Suddenly....BAM! A series of loud noises came from the stairs startling her and causing her to jump. She dropped the knife, but the blade scratched her skin lightly.

Connalee flinched and a hand flashed up to check the bleeding on her neck. It was just a drop, a small amount. Enough to make her panic. As her heart attempted to jump out of her chest she received another startle. A voice came from the doorway. It was timid and polite, but made Connalee frown and spin on her heels.

"Oliver!! You scared me half to death! Look! I cut myself because of you! What would you have done if I'd slit my throat and died!!!?" She shouted and crossed her arms indignantly. Connalee then began mumbling under her breath in anger.

Oliver winced as the expected yelling occurred. He had no idea how a simple question about one's wellness could cause such a violent reaction. But now he had made his presence known and Connalee would probably want to know his answer to her yelled question. "Um..." He spoke, with an apologetic tilt to his head. "C-C-Call an ambulance?"

With a huffed out sigh he shifted so that he was leaning in the door jam with his arms crossed. He met Connalee glare for glare. Yuki was curled up in the crook of one arm and even the stuffed cow seemed to glare. "What got your lace in a twist? Did poor little Gloomy get a boo-boo? I know you're all talk when it comes to killing yourself, but you really don't need to take it out on us." One of these days he was gonna take that knife and sh--have to apologize for startling her all the time. He tried so hard to be nice, but nothing ever seemed to work.

As if suddenly realizing his precarious position in the doorway, Oliver's shoulder slipped and sent him tumbling to the floor. His foot slid up and bumped into a hinge of the door making it threaten to fall. In a swift flick of his other foot he set the door right and held it there. "Ow...." With his feet on the door and the rest of him sprawled on the floor he looked at the cracked ceiling and sighed. "Sorry if I startled you Connalee." He still didn't know what he was apologizing for but it was much easier when he didn't have to look at his irate house mate.

After a moment on the floor he got up and set the door to the side. Picking Yuki off the floor he called back over his shoulder. "Don't trip over the door, Gloomy. It might kill you before you get a chance to pack." And with that he dashed off to find where his box got off to.

Connalee J. Worchester

Connalee grumbled under her breath and hissed something. She crossed her arms and watched as Oliver tripped over himself and caused more damage to the falling apart house. She was fairly certain the twenty percent of the damages to this place were because of him and his terrible luck. Another twenty percent was probably her. There was the falling ceiling beam where she'd tried to hang herself, the table that she'd thought about falling off, or the bottom stair where there was a hole from her tumbling down. The people of this house really just weren't good for it.

She dared to think the new house might not be that bad. Guilt automatically flooded her mind and made her cover her eyes. "I'm not worthy...no one would care...such a coward." She rambled as tears filled her eyes and spilled into her hands. She cussed herself out and then slammed her foot into the floor as hard as she could. A cracking noise telling her she'd done too much. "I'm already packed you idiot!" She stormed off after Oliver. "I was waiting for someone else to wake up! You know I'm not allowed to drive any of the vehicles!"

[something wicked ]

This house had obviously never heard of sleeping in, or sleeping at all. CRASH! BANG! Man Yelling! Woman Yelling! CRASH! THUD! It was such an awful racket that it thundered through the entire house. Every little hole echoed with the terrible sounds. It caused things to stir...things that you never wanted to wake up on the wrong side of the bed.

"Hmrph...brother...brother....they're at it again."

The soft voice carried a husky tone that travelled well without a single raise in volume. Not a few minutes after this annoyed statement a young woman sat up and brushed the red streak of hair out of her face to look with one good eye towards the door. Her righteye closed over with flawless skin. Only a small line of scar tissue showing that there should be an eye there.

Another figure stirred from the other side of the large bed. A man looking almost exactly the same as the woman. His hair adorned with a bright blue streak and cut slightly shorter. He grabbed his own pair of glasses and then handed Belle hers. After which he rubbed his eye and blinked. Opposite of his sister he was missing his left eye.

"Indeed sister. I hear. Those two have no manners."

Bvorn placed his stuffed skull off to the side and slid out of bed. Dressing himself in all black, a turtleneck, a pair of slacks, long socks, and boots. He then snatched the bright red cloak from the back of a chair and covered himself from head to toe. As he placed his stuffed skull, Alexander into the last two bags they had in their room; his sister got dressed herself. In all black like him, a high necked tank top, black tights, black socks, and boots. She grabbed the bright blue jacket with the magic circles on it and then stretched.

"A curse upon them."

Belle opened the door and walked out followed closely by her brother. He carried the two bags, the rest of them were in a truck waiting outside. Bvorn got to the top of the stairs with Belle and saw the two loud mouths. He raised a pale hand and snapped his fingers. The noise was almost shrill and echoed easily through the house in an attempt to gain their attention.

"May your throats thirst for sound and silence befall you."

"How dare you disturb our slumber again."

Darkness. Silence. Warmth. That was the way her adventure would take place. She was in her true home. The large steel coffin would forever be her home. Wherever it traveled she would never feel lonely or abandoned. As long as she could lie in the thick silk lined solace of her mind. The safest place to think or even possibly have no thoughts at all.

Her head was empty. There was no brain anymore. Her stomach twisted. Her body's numbness now running out and pain taking over. A dull ache. A full ache. A soreness that could erase anyone's will to live. An ache...that only came after a long binge of drinking and a serious hangover. Now Jane was safely hidden in the confines of her coffin. Waiting for the sun to disappear, or at least for Connalee's old encased pickup to move and take them to the new house. Where she would quickly hide in her blankets and run to her room where her mini-fridge awaited her. Until then she would stay hidden and safe from the evil ball of sun and the horrors of the outside world. Pressing a button on the inside of her coffin a few fans started up along with soothing piano music. It had been worth it to splurge some cash on the extra features.

As was the way of the world, escape was not as easy as he thought. He thought a hasty retreat would be enough to catch his housemate off guard, but Conalee was persistent. She followed him back to the main hall where the door was cracked open, likely the fault of a wayward box. He was about to make a smart a** retort about how having permission to drive or not never seemed to stop her when a sharp snap drew his attention.

Oh brother.... and sister. Belle and Bvorn glared down on the source of their displeasure. Well.... damn. Now what? Did he try to placate them? A waste of his time. Or argue with them? Entertaining, but still a massive waste of time. Retreat? "You know what? I'll just meet you guys there, kay? S-Sorry we woke you two up." And with that he made a break for the door, and this time he was fast enough. He scooped up the fallen box mid-run and gently tossed Yuki up and into the package. He was past the truck and halfway down the block in no time.

Five blocks later he stopped short and realized he didn't know the exact address of where they were going. He walked over to the brick wall of a building, set the box down, and repeatedly banged his head into the wall. "God I am a ******** idiot! ... Well it's not that bad. We have a cell phone... I think... Um..."

"Hey, buddy! Whatcha got in the box?"

The voice came as a surprise. Usually when Oliver was having one of his hazy moments like he had just been in, people left him alone. He straitened up from the wall to see a teenager only a couple of years younger than him pull Yuki from the box.

"Oh my god, is this yours? Dude that is so--" That was as far as the kid got before Oliver had his hand fisted in the teen's shirt and was holding him off the ground and an inch away from Oliver's face. "It's not nice to mess with other people's stuff without asking." His voice was low and dangerously calm. "Now... Put. The cow. Back in the box." With trembling hands the teen handed Yuki back to Oliver who released his grasp on the shirt.

Possession safely in hand and teen trouble maker long gone, Oliver decided to head back towards the old house and get the address before he ventured any farther. Knowing his luck he'd just end up walking in circles and then right into traffic. He really was such a klutz sometimes!

Connalee J. Worchester

She grumbled as the twins cursed her for the noise. Oliver wasn't far behind them in running away. Connalee hissed under her breath and stomped her feet. "Get yourselves together! Or I'll leave without you!" She shouted and ran to the hall dodging a few holes in the floor. She skipped over a broken frame and into the absolute abyss of emptiness that was once her lovely room. The cheery polka dot wallpaper was torn and unraveling and the carpet was frayed. Her decapitated teddy bear resting on a grave of pillows. The stuffing of the massacre lying on the floor around it.

Connalee's hands trembled as she stared down at them with tear filled eyes. "WOE!" She screeched and fell to her knees crying in a ball of pity. "Woe is my home!" She sobbed like a child and wiped at her eyes horrified by this injustice she was committing. Suddenly jumping to her feet she rushed out the door, down the hall, and out the front door. She threw it open and crawled into the covered truck and lied down next to the coffin. "Jane....Jane..." She whimpered and knocked on the coffin softly.

When the only answer she got was a complainant moaning she sighed. "I'll get us going." She got out of the trunk and moved back into the house. Picking up the dufflebag from her room and the two piece teddybear with a jester hat; she headed to the stairs. "Alright! Bvorn! Belle! Get your last stuff and put it in the truck!" She was headed out the door when she saw Oliver walking back to the house. She sighed heavily. Connalee waved and gave a sorrowful smile. "Come on Ollie! I'll give you a ride. GG said she'd take the other two with her."
