▐ PERSONALITY Positives and Negatives
Liang was very reclusive in his youth but as the years marched on he has found himself growing into a more assertive man, a calm and serene figure but one who is perpetually seething with an undercurrent of sheer fury at the injustices of the world.
What was initially a propensity for cruelty has turned into someone who has no time for cruelty any longer and who simply seeks to eradicate his enemies entirely and return to his work.
He still however considers his sister as his dearest friend.
▐ HISTORY Where he came from
Liang, like most other horsemen, grew up in the original clan lands where he was raised in the midst of a loving if rather distant family. His parents were high ranked nobles and he and his sister were given a rich and varied education in the arts to empower them in their progression through conquest’s complex high society.
His greatest aptitude initially was in the complex art of ink calligraphy but he found a real inspiration in crafting ornate jewelry using insect parts when he was introduced to some more extravagant imports from famine and a workshop to use them in. Life was good and he spent most of the long beautiful days in the company of his twin.
After the destruction of their ancestral home, Liang found himself and his twin displaced and without a place to call home, stuck living in the lost clans encampment outside of Halloween town. This was the beginning of some very hard times for him and he struggled to adjust to the new world outside the boundaries of the clan lands.
He learned in time to hate the hunters, to loathe the ones responsible for putting him in such dire straits. He also learned - through living in close quarters with them all - to truly appreciate the other clans, developing a deep fascination with Famine and everything to do with them.
These days he lives in the tower, separated from his sister and all alone, seething about the hunters but never quite getting started on the revenge he feels he deserves.

- - M O U N T - -► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► [ Summon Mount: ] All horsemen are able to summon a mount to travel. This usually takes an equine form, though may vary from clan to clan.
Mounts can only be summoned off battle and are unable to attack: they are literally an extension, or a "projection" of the Horsemen's own form/ Fear. They hold for as long as the Horsemen has Fear to use, and work like the natural form of many Halloweeners, which means their mounts are also on lockdown in various areas around Halloween.
[ Mount form: ] All horsemen gain the ability to change into their 'mount' (horse) forms upon becoming Elders (y2). These forms can be used in battle, though they are draining and cannot be used for long durations of time in battle. ▐ WHITE HORSE Liang’s mount shape is a very large white draft horse with long feathered hooves, his build is reminiscent of a gypsy vanner horse but writ on a much much larger scale. His livery is reminiscent of his family’s heraldic emblem, the ornate lion embroidered into his silks and engraved into the gold plated steel.
He has a very long flowing white blonde tail and mane, both of which echo whatever style his normal form possesses.

- - S I G I L- -► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► Liang’s sigil is vengeance, he wasn’t surprised when he saw it engraved in his skin in the least, after all, when you spend half of your adult life hunting down vengeance for the wrongs levelled against your kind, you get a little bit in the habit of it all.
It is positioned around navel level, swooping downwards towards his groin.

Much like the livery of his mount it is designed around the guardian lions which used to sit staunchly outside of his home once upon a time. ▐ FEARS xxxxxStage One Horsemen: Can only use one T1, two T2 abilities.

Wherever he goes Liang will almost always have a large jade orb somewhere on his person. Typically it is stowed in his robes or hung on a fastener at his belt, sometimes at the base of his long equine tail. It was given to him by his father and is one of the few things he has left from the days before the fall. One was given to him and to his twin that they might grow to emulate the guardians of their home, protecting their family from harm and bringing prestige and honour to them.
Ultimately it remains a symbol to Liang of the fact that his promise still stands and that the last of his family - his sister - still needs protecting.

▐ LILY - Nearest and dearest of all of Liang’s relationships, his sister Lily is his longest companion. Though they differed in their choices and ultimate aims he feels as strongly about her as he always has and when they run into one another it is as if no time at all has passed between them .
▐ XALA - A very strange famine horsewoman who holds Liang’s attention simply by being different from anyone he had met before. He isn’t sure if she thinks of him as a friend but he finds her company entertaining.

▐ ZAR This strange Incubus was briefly involved in a tryst with Lily in his darker times, Liang remembers him from then. He is one of the few amity students he has ever met.

Conquest- Liang thinks the horsemen have some woefully outdated and backward thinking traditionalists and his clan is worst of all for it. He wants to shake off the historical hierarchy and for the horsemen to go forward in a modern way which will gain them the revenge they are all entitled to.
Other Clans- The other clans are equally trapped in backwards thinking but of the others he thinks that Famine is the most effective and progressive. He has tremendous respect for the other clan and frankly, if it was possible to change clan to join Famine instead, he would, collective outrage be damned.
Humanity- Humans are ultimately prey, but no one ever said you couldn't play with your food. Liang would rather learn about, manipulate and integrate in many ways with humanity than simply wipe them out. They'd be a wonderful power source if subjugated.
