Anyone who talks to me for more than five minuets will know that I'm an avid crocheter... I wanted to share some pics of what I've been doing recently! Only 2 pics just now.  I have a table at the local Sunday craft & flea market where I (try to) sell the things I make. I mostly like making amigurumi, like animals and food. I want to make some lacey scarves for the summer, I just need to find some good yarn. Comments, feedback, ideas for what might sell well? I really like making octopuses.

I like crocheting some myself. But I only usually make blankets. But I have to say, your crocheting is really cool in my opinion...
ask for what might sell well... this is just an idea, but I know some people at school that do things like this, and they like making Pokemon related items... I've even seen characters from Spongebob... Which they may be kid shows, but a lot of people still like them.

You're pretty good. I particularly like the octopi. Ever tried to do your avi, or anything like that?

Bah. "Kid's show" is just code for "guilty pleasure". That said, what's sad is that many times they can be the only half-way entertaining thing on. The other night, I had a choice between "Nazis, Nazis, Nazis" on the Naz- er, History Channel, hours of... whatever it's called, the show about a bunch of douchebags that think they're famous actors, the Jersey Shore, or freaking Power Rangers. I haven't watched that show in about seven years.
It actually wasn't that bad, all things considered. emotion_yatta

Haha. I've heard that Hitler had Nazi scientists research all sorts of crazy things, like talking dogs.

how fun. i LOVE to crochet. kind of hard right now because my hands are swollen.
i like to make doll dresses. not ones to play with but the big fancy, pretty ones. i made a wedding doll dress for my mom covered in beads and sequins. made a big ball gown that i'm keeping. made the ascott dress from my fair lady for my sister.
i've made felt playfood but haven't tried any crochet ones.
i just finished making a headband for this baby. going to knit some headbands for christmas gifts but the flowers on them will be crochet.

Wow!
I've tried picking up crochet and it's not going so well...I'm trying to find someone that can help teach me.
I have a book of little animals that I want to make and then take to the children's hospital to give to the kids.
Hard to do when you can't crochet, though.

they are so cute, you have such talent Sammirah! i have a crocheted care bear that i got as a gift from my cousin and i just love it! i would love to learn how do that so i can make myself a Rumpelstiltskin doll, Mr.Gold doll and a Durza doll lol yes i do love Robert Carlyle lol. i like the cute lil octopi u made

I've always worked with yarn, but my fingers tend to fumble lol But thanks, I'll check out YouTube.
