A brief look on their past: Maurice was an abandoned baby boy who was just about to be kidnapped when Lorine saved him and brought him back to her castle. He asked that he would be a personal messenger whenever she needed a messenger when Marcus was not around. She smiled and agreed to it. He is over 100 years old and is now ready to bring the other Realm guests to her ball.

So she had gained long life and beauty but had escaped the curse of needing blood to sustain life. 100 years after her transformation, Dana came to work for the late Prince. She had worked for him for nearly 200 years when he married the Dutchess. Before the late Prince went to battle, he named Dana the head Maid when Lana didn't want it.

A brief look on their past: Lana was born a werewolf. She wandered for 1000 years before the late Prince took her in. When she heard that the Prince died, she returned to the castle and Dutchess Lorine took her in like she had never left and Lana respects Lorine for her kindness.

A brief look on their past: Dorin was a failure of a Demon. He was a gentle and kind soul. He couldn't bring himself to harm a fly. When Dorin was cast out of Hell, he wandered from relm to relm when he found a castle in the Dark Relm. He sought refuge there when the winter came. There he met the Dutchess, a newly widow. He was the only one who Lorine could talk to of everyone in the castle. Lorine offered him a job at the castle when he began to leave. She didn't want to loose this kind soul and Dorin has been by her side since.

A brief look on their past: Sven is the newest member of staff. He came upon the castle by accident. He was looking for a lost hawk when he followed the wrong hawk to the Dutchess's castle. He went inside when a sudden rainstorm had to stop his travels. There he met Lorine and Dana, who were walking to the east wing when he spotted them. Sven called out to them. He said he needed a place to stay until the rains let up and Lorine sent Dana to go get towels and tea for the soaked man. Lorine escorted this Hawk Charmer to the parlor where he sat in her chair by the fire to dry off. She told him that in a few hours, the rains will leave and he is free to go. However, a few hours turned into a few days, then weeks and then 100 years. During that time, Sven became Lorine's stable hand and greeter.

A brief look on their past: Haku is from the relm of music. All who come from that relm are born with supreme talent of bending their voices to match anything, from dogs to birds, from boys to girls. Each person has one main talent that is focused on since they turn 5. Haku's focus was on voice. Of those in Shadow Fire, Haku is the youngest. Haku is really 70 years old, but in Musicaline, she is only 14.

Taku is 78, but is 22 in Musicaline.

A brief look on their past: Just like Liku, Riku focused on Guitars. Her main is Bass guitar. Liku and Riku are actually the only sisters by blood in the group. This group of sisters left the Music Relm to bring music to the other relms. Many relms grew to love them but they realy gained popularity in the Dark Relm. They all met Lorine before she married the late Prince. Riku is really 72, but in Musicaline she is 16.

A look on their past: Dutchess Lorine wasn't always a dutchess. In fact she was the daughter of a high official in the Dark Relm's King's court. She first met the King when she was 9. The day she was introduced to her future husband, the prince. As time went by, she never saw the prince again until she turned 300 years old. When she turned 300 years old, she was taken to the Prince's castle to live there until a month before their wedding. The prince and she spent time together up until that month where they had to depart until their nuptials. After they were married, they lived happily together for almost 200 years. After their 199th anniversary, the Prince had to go into battle in the war against an evil that terrorized even their relm. A year after he left, she got word that 3 months after he joined them, her husband was killed and that he left her this document. It was a letter adressed to her the night before their wedding. He had foretold his death and that he left her in the best care. Lorine became distant and aloof. She didn't eat and wouldn't speak to anyone. That was until Dorin came. He began to crack her shell and taught her how to laugh again. She and her staff started to talk about life before she came to live in the castle. When they talked about a masquerade ball, Lorine knew she needed to throw one and invite all to her ball.
