Before you go "You should treat you parent's with respect and not complain about them" Read the entire post. =)
Today I got home from school went into my room for about an hour and suddenly...
My dad walks into my room with a frown on his face and says son we need to talk in the living room...
So I go into the living room with my dad, and my mom is sitting there with a letter in her hand and she says do you know why we got this letter from the school? as my dad frowns down at me and my mom stops reading the paper to mimic his actions...
and then she says because you got honors do you know how disappointing that is?!
then I stare blankly into space for a moment wandering what just happened as my parents burst into laughter.
Has anyone else had moments like this with there parents?
They really had me going >.<

I'm glad my parents were not like that when I was in school, my dad really doesn't have much of a sense of humor while my mom has her own kind of humor.

Me too. sweatdrop Well, for me, it's about the result of an important test, national examination. Each students in my country should pass this test to go to further educating. About two years ago, my mother woke me up by entered my room with serious face. I'm a bit scared since my parents never woke me up like that (they usually will just call me to wake me up, never enter my room since I definitelly will wake up with just single voice). It was the day when I should get my national examination result. My mother told me to go to family room and I follow them. My father that already in there asked me how I did my test (before I can even sit) that made me stunned. Then my mother told me, they got a call from my teacher that I didn't pass the test. Good things I realized that my parents didn't see my face, I mean they usually will look at my eyes when talk about something important. And yes, I'm right, they laugh at me after that. mad
But still, I love them. heart heart heart

Not in a while. My mom was laughing her a** off when I got bit by a goose.
I don't care about the honor roll sinc high grades came naturally to me. That, and today's teaching methods are severely flawed.
