cheese_slave database Hey guys, do you remember when having 100k meant something? That was before Booty Grab and zOMG. Years, man, years. And yet, I don't have 100k right now. *not good at saving gold*
I bought these ears recently, which are a holiday item from a holiday I missed. I really shouldn't have.
Also, everyone hates, "Thank you for buying from me," messages. xP

The most expensive item on my avatar cost 150k. Seems like people pay that much for shitty art these days.

shells_of_sand You should have asked, I'm sure I have doubles of some stuff. gonk I ain't worried. I tried not spending over 5k for an item, though I did splurge on a couple of things. I then learned the market for old holiday items fluctuates more than my weight around Christmas, and added stuff to my wishlist to track prices. Also: 100k used to be massive. Now I can buy a sealed envelope and sell it for 100k. What the actual crap. Also: Booty Grab and zOMG. I need to play zOMG seriously I guess? It looks like fun but seems a little too... not awesome for me. Also I seriously looked up the most expensive stuff. Demon Horns for 9mil. I'm pretty sure I traded my pair for the nitemare headband that's now worth peanuts stressed

Guys I am impressed. I gave up on any actual Gaia related stuff like, years ago. You guys are persevering! Just me, this avi, and this ballin' a** scarf that some coolios got me a while back. That's all I need here.
And you guys, I guess.

RIGs on release day are probably your safest bet - $10 for a bundle of 9, which you can sell on the MP for 900k - 1mil, maybe around 800k if you're a few days late, and they usually sell quite fast. Some evolving items are also okay. A lot of old items have dropped in price a lot. I should have sold my spare kikis when they were 1.6mil. Not sure you'd get 9mil for horns of the demon, either. Last time I looked they were about 7mil. You don't really see people wearing them these days... The ship might have sailed on zOMG. Gaia won't be updating it anymore, think all the staff have been moved on to other projects (like facebook apps...). I had a lot of fun when it first came out though, because it was like the world of Gaia came to life. It might surprise you. 3nodding

Also what the hell, 1 million I was kinda noticing the zOMG abandonment : / I played for an hour or two (three?) and have a major bug where my charge orbs show up in the inventory but I can't upgrade mah rings. Soo I'm at a 1.4 GL when I could potentially be 2-3 : /

RIGs (Random Item Generators - I think Gaia calls them Chance Items or something now) come out every month. In fact, one came out today. xd At the moment, the Gauntlets & Goblins bundle is selling for 925k on the MP.
You can see the item list for the new RIG here:
http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/gaia-community-discussion/the-almost-complete-gauntlets-goblins-item-list/t.79114139/
That thread also has links to all the past RIG item lists.
Some RIG items are REALLY rare and sell for millions of dollars. A bunch are in the 100k - 500k range, but most most times you play, you will get really common items which sell for 10k - 30k.

I agree with that "wish I sold my spare kikis" sentiment. *sigh* At least Ancient Katanas are still worth something. *continues to hoard them* ninja
zOMG was really cool when it came out. Now, it's glitchy. Admins have repeatedly stated in the weekly Ask the Admins thread that stuff will be done to work on game-breaking glitches (like that orb glitch), but they need to hire a guy. They still haven't. (Talk was they were negotiating with an unnamed past dev, but nothing's been said progress-wise.)
I really need to stop buying things I want with my farmed (from-ads) gaiacash and save it to spend on RIGs. But... Dr Killshye was too awesome.

Sounds like that holiday stuff is becoming a dangerous habit. Better step back a bit, son.
Whenever I need a boost of cash I pick one of a small handfull of items and play the market with it. Did that with a Chyaku Norisu scarf and got a 50k return after a day.
