There is little to differentiate between this place and the rest of the dunes, save that the sands' wings are slightly less sloping than those around it. There are small slabs of red granite peeking from the dunes at its barriers; hinting at a landscape submerged beneath the desert.

Between those rocks, interspersed throughout the buried are small jutting metal teeth; an erratic array of battered, bent and rusted points peering from below. Split and snapped spear shafts rise from the sand in clusters. Near the center of the field was planted a long and now sand-frayed banner. The yellowed fabric is covered by hand-smeared lines of black that converge in an abstract skull-like face painted at its center. It stares over the silent gravesite with threadbare green eyes. The desert wind moans low between the rocks and ridges.

Whatever happened here, it is remembered by The Tribes. To travelers, it is little more than a buried battlefield.

The night was cool and the wind was swift over the sands. As The Reaper crested a high dune, his eyes turned to the ghostly totem in the distance, some 100 yards away. "We're here." His throat husked the words from the soft tumble of the sand in the wind around them. He descended the field-side slope of the dune, and moved towards the battlefield.

Much silence filled there time as they traveled here, hours it took for them to reach there destination.
Eyes scanning about, always on alert..always wary. When he spoke, she felt an almost sense of relief, but did not show.
"This place has much history Reaper, is it before your time yes?" She asked, liking what he had to say..a wise and knowledgeable man, even if he was flawed with his ideals about her.

The Reaper nodded, folding his plated arms over his bare and branded chest as his eyes took in the place. He did not look at Cordelia just yet. "Yes, this was before my time... nearly 100 years before my birth. When you were created, were there humans here? The Tribes speak of days when their ancestors bore witness to Myracondas; when they built their villages upon the footsteps of Pital. This land seems empty to travelers -they see The Desert and its endless sands, and assume there is nothing beneath it. There is history here; more of it than any living creature remembers. The Tribes are all that stands between its preservation and destruction."

Kerrark moved forward, glancing back to Cordelia as he got closer to the banner in the field's center. It felt like its green eyes were them both, despite that they were finger strokes of pain. "What stores I know are those I was told by them, their healers, as they worked to keep me from death after I broke my oath. One hundred and one years ago, The Desert and all who lived within were attacked by a coven of witch doctors. There were fifteen of them in total. Each was a Vampire, and they called themselves The Blood Barons. Their long lives and studies gave them each the power to corrupt the forces of nature and twist The Desert to their command. They made the sands swallow villages and their inhabitants alive. They made what little rain that came turn to acid. They spread the same message wherever they went - if the Chieftains of The Tribes would gather in Counsel with their new Masters, there would be peace. Faced with extinction, they had little choice. Each tribe's Chieftain rallied behind Alteras, Chieftain of the Tribe of Sky. That is his face. Unified, they were the Voice of the Desert. With their most honored warriors at their back, they called the Barons and gathered in council. They held that council here."

The Reaper stooped beside the banner of Alteras, and began raking his fingers through the sand. In that pause the weight of this place's history hung on the cool night air. Kerrark stood as he drew something out of the ground. It was a rusted and battered great sword, damage and pitted past the point of repair. He gripped the blade tight between both of his gauntlets, and began to wring the blade between them. The rust broke off in thick flakes to settle across the sand. The metal beneath was well tempered and strong; the craftsmanship meticulous and inspired.

"They lost everything here. Their warriors; their Chieftains; each and every one. They all died here except for Alteras, and with them went much of the old ways. When they regained their freedom, they sought to reclaim their heritage. They searched the Desert for knowledge; suffered its heat and dangers to find anything they could. What history they found was like this. Damaged, battered and incomplete. But through their strength and perseverance, they made it something new."

Kerrark shut his eyes and gripped the ancient weapon by its handle. His spare hand from its pommel to the tip of its blade. As he did, something incredible happened. The weapon changed; grew and glistened new beneath his traveling palm. A century of decay, reversed in a single moment. He flipped the large sword around, clasping the sword by its hilt with the grip facing Cordelia. He did not extend the weapon to her.

"I know you are proud, and that your eyes have seen the face of Pital... but your story is much like theirs. Nothing is found without searching, and like the tribes you have lost so much...I hope that you will learn from Her mortal children, Cordelia."

The Reaper offered the great sword to the Fallen, hilt clear to grasp and blade cupped between his palms. He watched her in silence, gauging her reaction.

~Cordelia~
-Seraphiel; Angel of Silence-

She gave a wan smile as she looked upon the wise man.
He gave her no time to answers his questions. With his quickness, his constant questions..it gave her insight to the man.
That he not only wanted to protect his people, but protect everyone he could. That is somthing Pital would support. He was proud that his people have overcome there hardship, and where started anew.
"With your assistance, I will hope to learn by observation. Too learn by this, too grow stronger, too aid those who are in need of help.
I cannot promise I won't lose my cool, especially in the heat of battle or confrontation...Iam very hot headed reaper, but that does not mean iam a bad person.
I only want whats best for the people, you and I have the same goal..but have different ideas to go about it.
But..while iam in your land, I will abide by your rules and direction. I pledge myself to the cause. "

She spoke true and strong, giving her word was not just a simple thing to be ignored..she may be a fallen, but her word carries from before she was just that.
He may not have faith in her words, for they could prove empty until proven.
She held out her hand, wanting him to trust her and not for her to just grab the sword, for to her..it would be a sign of disrespect.

Kerrark's face wore a thin smile. "I ask for no promises, Cordelia. This is The Devil's Eye Desert. Here, all things lose their cool."

He pumped his arms forward and the sword leapt out from his hands towards Cordelia; the blade sliding out from between his palms with a crisp ringing note as its pommel lunged out towards the Fallen's face. Hopefully, she caught it. If she didn't, she would have a moment to lash out at the Reaper as he stood there, watching her, hands falling to his sides.

"Come at me with everything you have. Hit me as hard as you can."

She smiled as she reached up and caught that pommel of the blade with inhuman speed.
A feat no ordinary human could reach, but..well..who's ordinary here?
Gripping the shaft of the sword, she swung it a few times, testing the weight..her body remembering the feel of such an object, but yet..no memory. For some reason, she half expected somthing to come forth.
Looking up at the reaper, she smiled..a wicked gleam in her eye.
"As you wish."
Lifting her wings out, she bent her knees and propelled herself foreword, grasping the sword with two hands she put the strength of both arms into it, swinging the blade to hack him from left hip to right shoulder.

The Female Shinobi

((As we have compelted revisions for the Warrior Class but are waiting to update the class once we have a few more to update with it, I'll be training you according to the new skill lists. I will PM this to you shortly.))

While it might come as no surprise to The Fallen, Cordelia would still find it hard to be unimpressed by her teacher's reaction. His footing didn't budge and inch. With his hands at his side they were in the perfect position to parry her blow, and his left arm did, with ease. His gauntlet flashed upward, arm bending at the elbow and twisting slightly upwards as the gauntlet pulsed with a crisp shine of silver energy. His forearm met the sword first, but the circular motion of his arm bent back further as it completed its circle; his palm open and sliding directly into the flat of the blade near its tip. When it was over, Kerrark's armored fingers tightly gripped the top of Cordelia's blade, tilted out and away form his body as though she had struck from above, and not below. He let her weapon go, and nodded.

"Strength is your ally, as is your resolve. You are not lacking in either of these things... put place your convictions into your strikes. Channel your need for retribution into every blow, and it will cleanse your mind. Come, strike at me again. The same as you did before, but draw your sword closer into your waist so you have room to maneuver. When your first strike is complete, twist your arms against the flick of your wrist to bring your blade's momentum back down on the target."

He said target so non-chalantly, so much more focused on training her than the fact that he was the one being attacked. There was certainly an urgency to the way he taught. He pushed her firmly with one arm, setting her two paces back from where she stopped. He returned to his place in the sand; his feet returning to the same small divots they had made before. The eyes of Alteras watched all, silent and filled with judgement.

"No holding back! I am the enemy! I've slain women and children; I have earned my place in death! Give me the fate that I deserve!"

His words, were they honest or false? She couldn't tell, but it was all part of her test. Kerrark was ready, and knew she was too.

[TEACHING SKILLS]
Offensive stance
E
The warrior takes on a stance of offense, leaving behind defense. This makes all attacks on the warrior one rank higher, but grants them +2 to both Speed and Strength. At Master Rank, this buff increases to +3/+3.Offensive stance can last up to 5 posts, and has a 6 post cooldown. It cannot be used at the same time as Defensive Stance.

Double slash
E
The Warrior does two slashes consecutively so fast it's almost as if they were at the same time. Due to its strain on the arms, if this attack misses the warrior sustains a circumstantial -1 penalty to speed in regards to dodging attacks for one round of posts. Double slash has a 1 post cooldown.

[SKILLS USED]
CHI STRIKE - 20

Thus, she was impressed by the Reapers act of display..of his actions and words.
She suspected as much..that along with being a Reaper, he was also a Monk.
The kind of people that..along with Paladins and fellow fallen, had taught her combat at the academy.
This engorged her with a sense of fulfillment and pride..to train and to hone her skills from her previous time.
Her body was weak, but with time, she knew that she would be back to her normal warrior self. Just as she was..just as she used to be one of the toughest fighters to beat.
His lecturing of how she should swing her sword did not strike a cord of anger, but a cord of enjoyment...she was after all, a diva.
But..aside from her carefree attitude, she paid the utmost attention in battle, hence why she was tasked with being ranked one of Petal's guards.

Arms loose, switching the positioning of her sword..she chose to go for the offense, abandoning defense.
If he decided to attack her back, she would have to be quick and nimble or she could be in for some serious trouble.
Knees bending, she shot foreword with her new found strength and speed..determined to land some type of blow, or get close to it...
(1/1)
Learned:Offensive Stance

Certain that her speed matched his, or close to it..definitely her strength, it depended on if she could utilize it.
Continuing foreword like a wild banshee she let out a savage cry, a cry that with most people would utter them shocked and cause a momentary lapse of paused activity.
Within proximity of sword distance, she swung the massive blade once to the right, twice to the left, gaining more speed with the swing..the giant blade was not made for finesse. It was no katana or any other type of blade like that, so..for her to do what she did next required fast hands.
Looking to hack the reaper from his top half to his bottom, she rolled the hilt of the sword in her hands, causing the bladed part to turn with it..now swinging like a blunt object, she tried to strike the greatsword against his side with all her might.
(1/1)
Learned biggrin ouble Slash

The flat of the blade would at most send him sliding against the sand, and cause a few broken ribs, if it hit.
A feat, she was sure he could heal himself from..thus why she did it. The confidence she had in him.

The Female Shinobi

He watched as she lashed forward, swift and concise in her strikes. She exhibited good form and even though he was prepared her strike came fast and furious. His knees loosened and dropped as she swung, his body swinging right from his shoulder as her sword came down swinging to the left for its first time. He rolled off his right, then left forearm as his legs tucked inwards to draw them out of the strikes range. As he did so, her sword came back left and clipped the top of his right foot, causing his evasive roll to lose some of its shape as his knees returned to the sand. He remained low to the ground and observed the completion of her attack; her aggressive stance and fearless, calm demeanor. She didn't buy into his words. Good. He was actually expecting she might.

She gave a wan smile at what he wanted her to do. It had been so, SO very long before she had last used her wings.....

~** In Petals services, she flew high above the sky...the wind whipping at her lustful blond hair..tangles & knots would amass in her hair for her actions, but she could just use one of Cordelia's spell to unravel it.
Squinting her eyes, she could barely see people walking down below..they looked like little ants from up here.
If she so wanted, she could enhance her sight to get a closer look..but decided against it..now was her time to fly, to use her massive wings..to be free. One of the most glorious aspects of being an angel.
The brightness of the sun dimmed immensely before she looked up at the source of the darkened sky..
Before she could evade, she was slammed into from the side..tangles in a grapple of legs, arms, and wings.
The smell came to her first, oddly like granite..before she saw his face, she knew it was Raphael. "Get off!" She screamed, getting her leg in the right spot she pushed him off..
Adjusting her body and wings she straightened out..swooping out into the open air once more.
Male laughter sounded in the air. "Your so tense! What are you doing up here?" he asked, doubled over with laughter..
She was sure that the veins in her forehead and neck where bulging from anger.
Stopping in mid air, wings beating evenly, keeping her well in place. Her hand instantly going to rest atop of her gladius. Such a sword was mandatory for all of those warriors such as herself. Raphael had one similar on his side for a matter of fact.
"Ah! So thats what you intend is it? Fine! Give me a good show! " He yelled, still laughing as he made a straightforward aerial dive at her. Smiling herself, she took off as well, the two giving out there own battle cries as swords extended and clashed.
**~

Head tilted back, she felt the sun soaking into her skin. A tear slid down her cheek at one of the many memories of her and one of her kin.
Not 3 weeks after, he had lost his life on a mission he was sent for. The sadness that she had experienced caused her handmaiden great worry...for when the fallen entered a depression, took somthing short of a miracle, for them to come out of it.
Now was not the time to morn..that could be done at a later time.

Wings extended, The reaper was close enough that he would smell citrus. All of the fallen have a particular smell when they extend there wings.
Giving them one giants flap, she felt the stiffness in them. It had been forever sense they have been completely open, let alone fly..
Practicing,,getting them stretched open made her strive to learn faster. Finally, she felt ready..the ability to fly was like an untrained muscle for her, but no more..with two giant flaps she was airborne. Only a few feet above the ground, she did it. That untrained muscle was being used again..behold the malevolent beauty that was her own, for few could match the fallen. (1/1)

The Reaper observed in silence. His face was soft, but his eyes kept the keenness of a razor as they watched her unspoken journey inwards. Something powerful and devastating happened beyond her eyelids. In the recesses of her, her memories were coming forward and it was not his place nor his desire to comment. He watched her body tense, flex; relax... he focused in on the tear that slipped down her cheek; on the honesty of her pain. Few things could be more truthful.

When she came to be free of the ground; to revel in the majesty of the power of flight -that was when he spoke. His arms slid back to his sides as he looked up into her eyes. She maintained her altitude; wings casting waves of sand to the sides as she beat against the cool night air. "I think you are ready." His words were followed only by others, "Fly until you are satisfied. When you are ready, your first test awaits you."

Hearing his words, she flew straight up and around..spinning in mid air until she did an aerial dive in his direction.
Beating her wings hard, she came within no more then 5 feet before she opened them..stopping her stone cold and sending a gust of wind at him..putting stress on the seams of his cloths as they where blasted back by the gust.
She smiled, happy that she remembered how to fly once more as she placed her feet down on the ground.
Nodding for him to continue.
