Because it's too tasty to resist. I just made some hot fruity green tea, but im waiting til it cools a bit before I drink it.

Also, apparently the Japanese think that having hot drinks when it's hot out helps cool down your body. Not sure about the science there, lol.

that's a belief held throughout the East and large parts of Africa
the "science" is based on hot drinks making people sweat leaving liquid on the skin to be cooled by evaporation which sorta makes sense
i don't know how well it works though because i am not a hot beverage drinker sweatdrop
