~ Personality: A calm, cool, and collected pokémon of few words, Kyran likes to take the "show don't tell" route when it comes to communication. While it may add to his daunting look, it is merely because he lacks proper social skills and is wise enough to acknowledge it. He has a bad habit of staring down individuals if attention has been drawn to him, but will try to bypass speaking if at all possible in most cases. Despite all appearances, Kyran will rarely pose the label of "enemy" on a person, only going to such lengths if they instigate a very real threat; most are merely avoided, or burdened with a nightmare. Kyran may seem confident when on his own, but his bruised mental state makes it strangely easy to take advantage of the darkrai, as long as one does not make him feel as though he's been pushed into a corner. His attachment to his sister, Kiara, mainly stems from the fact that she's the only one he knows -- without a doubt -- he can trust. As such, he is much more of a follower, and just a tad naive.
~ Likes: One of Ky's top pasttimes are just to practice (and perhaps, at times, flaunt the use of) his ability to cause nightmares on an individual. While it's never anything he really talks about, he tends to be a little too interested in how much damage he'd actually be able to cause, or what all he could see when an individual's shields are down. Due to this, he is the observational sort, enjoying the study of the world around him and how it works, how others work. He enjoys solitude, perhaps a little too much.
~ Dislikes: Because of a combination of trust issues keeping close eye on an otherwise friendly nature, Kyran tends to find flaws where he can in a person. As a whole, he tends to not like a good portion of people, even if he would never consider them a true enemy. They may be interesting, sure, but for most people he would rather forgo introduction altogether. He dislikes the moonlight, but otherwise prefers nighttime.
~ Other Quirks: Kyran has attachment issues with Kiara, built up from years of psychological abuse. He doesn't like making decisions, preferring to stay as the subordinate rather than branching out, but could be kicked to be more mindful with time. While he doesn't necessarily like causing true harm to others with his abilities, it doesn't usually deter him from trying to practice.

~ Special Abilities: "Darkrai is known for its ability to put people and Pokémon in endless nightmares only stopped if close to a lunar wing from Cresselia. It can become a shadow and escape danger or contact of humans, but it is still capable to take damage by special attacks (eg: Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Water Pulse, etc.) in this state. It is also capable of little human speech. In The Rise of Darkrai, it was shown its power was little of that of Dialga and Palkia. Darkrai is the only known Pokémon that learns Dark Void."

Kiara - No, contrary to popular belief, Kyran is not attached to her hip. There has yet to be anyone else that Ky trusts a fraction of the amount that he trusts Kiara, though interaction between the two could give an adverse impression.

Jayme - Kyran finds the strange teen to be a much deeper individual than what the darkrai would have originally pegged him for, and very curiosity-inducing because of it. He's extremely flighty and a torrent of confusion, though... and it makes it difficult not to pry. Now if only the teddiursa would quit being such a klutz, that stupid, nagging worry could just go away.

Urban - Somwhow the friend of the meek Jayme, Kyran found him to be... entirely and utterly intimidating. Kyran might know how to deal with short tempers in others, but the darkrai wasn't positive the aggron would think twice about physically harming him...

Brennen - For a legendary pokémon with so much power at his disposal, he had fairly average fears. Perhaps the greatest fears are those that living beings are born with an instinct against.

~ Walking Stick: Kyran found the branch in one of his outings outside the darkrai twins' cave, and has since messed with it to make it look nicer when bored or otherwise unoccupied. Humanoid evolution was not the most smooth adaptation that Kyran has gone through, and the staff is testament to it. As a full-fledged darkrai, Kyran took full advantage of his ability to levitate over any obstacles in his path. Legs are surprisingly difficult to get used to...

~ Leg Braces: The braces Kyran has on his boots help with the fatigue he tends to feel with over-practice while walking. They help with steadying his strides and lessening strain, but the amount of help they provide could be contended with. He has a tendency to over-tighten them when frustrated or nervous.
