"He which hath no stomach to this fight, let him depart. His passport shall be made and crowns for convoy put in his purse. We would not die in that man's company, that fears his fellowship, to die with us." -----------------------------------Shakespeare, Henry V
The Pokemon returned to the guild's mainhall with a muffled crack, Solaris' teleport fizzing out once they had ensured everyone was here and no one had remained behind and out of the teleports range. The Espeon stepped forward to address them all but it was Tempest who spoke first. "We're about to go into battle against any enemy whose powers rival gods, whose goal is our complete annihilation and whose army is greater. If you can't take that then fine, go. Run. Maybe you'll stand a better chance further away, but if you're prepared to go then return here in an hour with your team. Any children will be sent away somewhere safe. Any Pokemon unable to fight will join them. Go now. And while you're all at it..." The Pikachu's face fell momentarily and she barely restrained the choked whimper that caught in her throat. In seconds her expression was cold and blank once again though and she continued, "Say goodbye. Just in case."
Archer ignored the Pokemon heading out and stepped over to Tolin with a frown. "....has it really gotten this bad...?" Outside an alarm sounded throughout the kingdom, warning the citizens to fight or evacuate.

Hiro & Lunar "That's real brave Lunar." was all Hiro had to say as his partner left without a word. The Machop had just returned from speaking with his family. Now alone in his room, he felt a wave of fear overcome him. From what he had heard they were going to challenge some kind of demigod that threatened everything good and peaceful as they knew it. And he was going to do this without a partner. Wonderful. Shaking his head he tightened the red bandanna on his arm once more. Going to hell and back, as it seemed. If it meant protecting his family, then so be it from that damn Eevee. Before this he had seen his family off, to go into hiding for a little bit. They'd see family on a far off mountain. There they would wait a while until the situation blew over. A tear fell off his face as he remembered his moms expression. The Hitmonchan did not like her Machop son going into the fray. Taking an orange slice, his favorite food, he plopped it into his mouth. He liked the citrus flavor it had. Walking to the group he waited, solemn expression over his face, where a pleasant grin normally was. Electra "Ah s**t the city's going to hell." was all the 19 year old Galvantula had to say as Pokemon rushed from the city. Not Electra, she was that crazy. Besides the Sun guild might new every able bodied person. So she walked over, determined look on her face. She didn't really have family so she had nothing to lose. Except her life, but she was crazy remember?

HestiaHestia steadied herself after she arrived back at the guild through the teleport, "...Arceus help us." She muttered as she took out her precious rosary and started to pray. Noticing the Pikachu start to speak Hestia lowered the rosary, ready to listen. The Smoochum then frowned, she....was going to fight right? It, was the right thing to do. It was only proper that she prepare to sacrifice her life for her team, yes?
...However she just couldn't bring herself to do that. Hestia had no idea what was causing her unease, but just let out a sigh, "...Time to inform the team."
Rushing to the Team Olympus room, the nun took a deep breath before opening the door, "I...I'm back everyone." She called out in her usual soft toned voice.
Hestia noticed the team already packing up, she shook her head, "Someone has to go on the latest mission for the guild. Preferably a small group, safety in numbers and all that..." She then turned around, trying to hide the tears that were starting to brim on her face, she still remembered their vivid deaths... Turning back around she sighed, "...Also. Be prepared to say goodbye to...your team if you go. Because...You may not return, alive that is."
Hestia wished the silence that followed her small speech wasn't tinged with sadness. It seemed so painful... Isis + Heimdall + Lilith + Anubis Isis just sighed as she stood with; Heimdall, Lilith and Anubis. The quartet were an odd group for sure, but they all felt like it was the right thing to do. Isis just smiled at Eros, "...Cheer up leader. I'm not going to go down that easily." She stated with a small chuckle, though her voice seemed to waver a bit, "If, this turns out really badly..." It was then that she stared at Eros in the eyes, "I'm proud of how much you've grown since we were kids."
Eros just sniffled, "...I-Isis...Quit talking li-like this is going to be the...end." The Mismagius then let a couple of tears drop, "Kick that Pokemon's a**. Ok?"
Isis just smirked, "I'll try to give him hell Eros." She then shifted a bit, "I'm not going to say this isn't the end. Because, it may be. But...There's a chance I'll come back."
Eros just crumpled to the ground, "...Live. Please?"
Isis sighed, "I'll try my hardest."
Anubis just scoffed, "...See ya Heimdall." He said with a casual wave.
Heimdall just nodded, praying for the groups safety.
Lilith just hovered near her 'mother', "I'll protect you mom!" The vampkarp said with conviction as she gave the Jynx a fin hug. At the smile she received, Lilith just grinned and walked with the group out the team door.
Eros looked up from his crumpled position on the floor, "...Make it back safe. Please...?"
Isis just walked the others to the hall where they were all supposed to meet for the battle, "...Team Olympus reporting for duty." She stated with a firm tone. (( Only those four are going. Everyone else is evacuating I guess. ))

 Tolin & Charles
Tolin gave a quiet nod. "I was complacent. I put more effort into hiding the pieces than I should have. I should have tried to find ways to remove them from the field, but instead I believed that the measures I had put in place were more-or-less sufficient. Cronus had been significantly beyond what I had expected. As time went on, it seemed like Eridanus lacked the resources to attack everything at once but that wasn't the case and we've paid dearly for that assumption." Tolin's voice was tinged with frustration and quiet against the din of the crowd. No moreso than he had the right to be, given what had happened. "In the end, we've given them just about every card. And more... we're possibly worse off than when we started. As far as I know, Orion hasn't turned up dead yet so chances are there's one pendant out of their control for all the good it'll do us. Given his true nature, I don't think he needs or wants it." It would be a little strange for Darkrai to take psychic energies into himself, at least. "Our only hope lies in believing that Neon isn't strong enough to bring back all the Elite at full power. If that's the case and, depending on how greedy Eridanus is, they might be weak enough for us to claw our way up the tower by gutting them as we advance."
"Mmm, yes." Charles floated by idly, not caring to restrain his voice as much as Tolin had. "Tolin really screwed himself on this one."
Tolin simply ignored the comment. He didn't have time to get mad. "I'm expecting most of these people to end up dead, but it's hard to say." And... that's really all there was to it. There wasn't any other choice. What else would they do? Wait idly and get crushed under his boot when they stood no chance at all instead of simply hoping for a miracle?
Serrin
The alarm blared throughout the guild and the city about, alerting the Ivysaur that something had happened. Well, he had more or less an idea of what "something" was. That was enough. It... was about time, now.

 Victor
Victor coughed and fell to a knee as he arrived in the main hall via Teleport. Arceus dammit, how he hated Teleporting. It was bad enough that Solaris was always doing it, but now Harumi had been talking about wanting to become an Espeon like her idol. That would only mean more teleporting. Regaining his composure and standing to his feet, Victor listened to what Tempest had to say. Sighing he shook his head. Victor had no family to say goodbye to, but that wasn't his main concern. When she heard of this, Harumi would want to come. There was no stopping that, and there was no stopping her. She was going to come, no matter what anyone said. Yes, she was that predictable. Victor was going to have to put his own life at high risk to protect her. "All good things must come to an end..." Victor said about his own life before leaving to meet his fellow teammates.
- - - - - Victor - Harumi - Aiden - Doku - Maxi
"Absolutely not!"
There was no doubt in anyone's mind that Doku was going to speak out about Harumi's will to go on this dangerous, life-threatening mission. And, as per usual, Harumi's response was as followed: "I'm not a baby anymore! You can't tell me what to do!" Aiden and Victor both sighed as the two family members argued. Victor was of course on Doku's side on this, but Aiden didn't really know who to side with. He knew that Harumi wanted to go, and she would do anything just to say she was able to help her Guild. However, this was also the most dangerous mission to date.
"Erm, Master Doku..." Victor said, stepping forward. "I'm afraid Miss Harumi has made up her mind. And as her father, you know as well as I do that she's going to somehow make it to the battle, whether we try to stop her or not..." Harumi smirked a bit as Victor spoke. The Scyther knew when he and Doku had been defeated. No matter how much they forbade or denied, Harumi would somehow find a way to escape and follow. Doku sighed and stared down at the ground, cursing the Gods for making his daughter so dangerously stubborn.
"... Then I'm coming, too," The Leafeon said, looking back up at his daughter. "If I have to die to ensure the safety of my family, then so be it." This sentence caused Harumi to step back a bit, a look of worry and even a little hurt on her face. "... Dad, seriously, don't talk like that..." The Eevee told her half-blind father. "I'll be fine, you don't have to do anything. It's nothing I can't handle!"
Doku responded by shaking his head. "No, Harumi. I've fought these creatures before. They're far above you. If you insist on disobeying me, then I need to ensure you survive." The Leafeon gave a gruff nod, causing Harumi to sigh. She was going to go, but now she was going to feel guilty about it. "And you vill not be alone, my friend~"
Then entered Doku's own private chef, Maxi. The Toxicroak was wrapping some protective bandages around his hands. "It's been far too long since I fought against unvinnable odds and von. Zis should be tons of fun~" The Toxicroak gave a wink and smirked, smoke rising from the cigar poking out of the corner of his mouth. With that, the group of five left to meet up in the main hall.

Ver -- RufusThere was little to no explanation as to what was happening exactly, but Alice’s tone via telepathy was far from comforting. All she said was to go to the hall and that she’d meet up with them once she stopped to visit someone. The alarm went off and Alice was gone; that was when confusion set in. Ver’s mind was stuck between knowing what was happening and not wanting to believe it. They knew they were coming to the end of the line for some time now, but who would ever want to accept that? If it was bound to happen, then so be it. Someone had to fix it and, sadly, that was their job. The black and white Flareon padded around the room aimlessly but otherwise simply changing directions back and forth. He remained that way shortly after the alarm went off as he tried to fully comprehend what was happening exactly and how to act on it. Flor and Freya took the liberty of taking care of the younger members of the group. Rufus on the other hand was a strangely loyal Chu. He followed Ver anywhere need be. What bugged the fire type was the fact that he wasn’t sure if he could really say they’d be fine. The alarm was different. It was within the kingdom itself. It was telling people to get out while they still could. And it was coming from them specifically.
“Any idea where we’ll all meet up when this is all over?” “Not sure. I imagine they figured that out… Problem is, the more time I waste here, the less information I probably have.” Ver finally paused and swiftly sat in place as Freya frowned at him. “Any idea where Alice is going?” “Didn’t say. I don’t plan on waiting for her either… Would rather have her miss whatever this is going to become.” Though she did sound determined. She was upset too, but not so much in a sad sense. Something was bothering her; something said, something done, it wasn’t clear. “Well, everything is figured out otherwise. I guess we should go.” The small electric type headed toward and out the door as he spoke. Looking back at his team would cause issues, as impolite as it was. He couldn’t risk second thoughts. Besides, Ver was close behind so that was all the reassuring he needed. “Yeah, it’s fine. We’ll find you somehow, don’t get into trouble then.” “Of course.” The Eveelutions looked each other off as Ver finally stood and turned before chasing after his teammate toward the hall. Seconds passed and Freya finally took a deep breath and sat down as Flor padded her on the back in the silence of the room. Epitaph -- FangEpitaph sat short distance from the group that’d returned from the odd mission of sorts; silently listening to the conversations taking place though her gaze was left elsewhere in a hard, unblinking stare. Though she’d taken no part prior, what the talk was all about was mostly clear. She didn’t exactly avoid the situation throughout the months, she merely caught very little of it though naturally it was going to get this far sooner or later. Time was weird, really. It felt as if it dragged by but the haunting atmosphere kept everything in check and quick moving. Backing off now wasn’t an option. The large Flareon finally gave a swift blink and turned her attention back toward the slowly growing group. She pitied them. They shouldn’t have been involved but there wasn’t a choice in the matter. Epitaph faced ill-fated situations before and the innocent never should have been involved. Now they were facing one here again of a much higher degree and they were all waiting to probably die. She twitched slightly at the thought but couldn’t chase it away. It was no longer assuming what was going to happen of the future. It was the reality of it now, but how they approached it was beyond her. It felt like everything would just end in a flash.
“You look freaked.” A paw touched the Flareon’s back, making her jump and quickly look over her shoulder at the Raichu behind her. “Sure you wanna go?” “No reason not to… The more the merrier I suppose.” She turned her attention toward Tolin and the Mewtwo she was fairly sure she’d never seen before as she replied. The Scyther looked so stressed. It wasn’t the same as it usually was, making the sinking feeling in her stomach all the worse. He always seemed to have a grip on things to some degree at least. Now it just felt like nothing. “Who’s the Mewtwo?” Fang shrugged her shoulders as she walked beyond the Flareon in silence, making her way toward her Chu friend. She didn’t know. Wasn’t sure if she wanted to either.

Era & Ethfael & Erinn & Riley & Celus & Avaria & Eon & Irilyss As the Teams began to gather once again in the Main Hall, MistMelody found themselves to be one of the largest delegations yet to arrive. As far as Era could tell, there were only a few other Teams there so far aside from Tolin and that Mew, a Mewtwo who could only be the one Erinn was referring too, Solaris, and Tempest. The small winged Pikachu gave a small wave to her Guildmaster friend, though it was a bit half-hearted because of the dangerous situation they were meeting in. The older Electric Type had been through so much already and now she was leading them into this impossible battle with more courage than Era believed she ever could muster. She caught sight of Fang nearby too and greeted the Raichu in the same fashion from afar: only the need to stay with her Teammates kept her from going over to speak with them. The wings of the Pikachu gleamed dully in the light as she looked over to where Tolin stood with a saddened expression. She hadn't seen the Scyther in so long and now they were here, about to head to what could be their final battle. The Electric Type regarded him closely for a moment, and nodded to him although she doubted he noticed her where she stood some distance away. Thinking of Tolin drew her thoughts to Serrin and her expression clouded over for a moment. He'd told her not to come here, way back when she'd told him what she knew he said to take her Team a run. But they had all wanted to come and she couldn't just leave them on their own. Still she felt a deep regret within her that settled at the bottom of her stomach like a rock. I'm sorry Serrin...I'm sorry."
The Electric Type felt a gentle tap on her shoulder and looked up to find Ethfael watching her with a soft expression. "Cheer up," he said quietly, planting a kiss in the middle of her forehead. "Things seem bad now but they have to get better. You should know that." He bent down to wrap his tail around her as she reached to hug him, and each took solace in the other for a long moment. "Remember, whatever happens, I'll be with you. And so will all the others. We're on your side Era, never forget that." The two parted and they shared a moment of silence, though this silence was warm and friendly unlike the cold oppressive quiet from before. Then they turned back to regard their Team, pride in their expressions as they looked at their brave group who were willing to confront death for the sake of justice. This was true heroism: this was a Rescue Team worth every bit of their mettle.
Erinn stood quietly with the others, his expression as impassive as perhaps it ever had been. He was patiently looking around the room, locating those who he recognized from before. Not many had arrived as of yet by the looks of it, but he felt privileged to be among their number. He wasn't the bravest by far, in fact he was terrified out of his mind; the Paras didn't want to die, yet here he was staring it down in challenge. Naturally he was petrified with fear. But something had changed about the Bug Type after his journey up the mountain, something that he felt was important. He knew he could fight now, and he knew that he could contribute more than he thought to his Team. Whether he survived or not, he wanted to show it to the rest of his Teammates that he could do it. If he managed that then maybe-just maybe-his crimes would be paid for and he wouldn't have to feel like a criminal anymore. He could make things up to the Guild this way, alive or dead.
Riley shifted restlessly where he stood, eyes bright with alertness and tail thrashing side to side with impatience. It was easier to face something like this without having time to count down the seconds until it began. He was tired of things being the way they were: the Elite and Eridanus had caused more trouble than any one of them were worth. He'd nearly perished at their hands countless times and it was beyond time for him to get the chance to repay the favor. He didn't plan on dying today, not if he could possibly help it. He wanted to live to see the sun rise on a world that was free of that psychotic Eevee's far-reaching shadow. No one should have to deal with such a menace any longer, they would rid the world of his presence and with it create a better place for all Pokemon.
Eon stood attentively close by Riley, with a whirlpool of doubt churning within him. He valued his own life just as much as the next person, but this was much larger than he was. Everything that he stood for was on the line here and that fact was painfully obvious to the docile Electric Type. They were going up against an enemy he had no idea if they could actually manage to defeat, but if they did it would be their greatest triumph. He looked around the Main Hall, wondering if it would be the last time he'd be able to accomplish that simple task. It was very pretty when it wasn't being destroyed by one Pokemon or another: this was one of the only times he'd visited it like that to be honest. It was funny how, when resigned to death, the little details seemed so much more important than they had in the past. Everything was beautiful in this world that could very soon be fading away from him. He touched a paw over his heart and felt its strong beat just under his skin. He would fight for the beating hearts of those who couldn't defend themselves against this enemy because this was his purpose and he intended to fulfill it. Even if that meant giving up his own precious heartbeats for the cause.
Irilyss regarded the others with mild interest, the feeling of impending death hanging over them all. She recognized it from back home before it all was destroyed; the feeling of going up against a hopeless task. The Gardevoir was here for a few reasons, not the least of which was helping to prevent more people from dying. She'd had enough of the pain and destruction that it left in its wake, and she would see it to its end. The other reason though, was far more exclusive to her alone, and one that she'd kept to herself throughout the time she'd spent here. Irilyss knew she was going to die: the Psychic believed that to be fact with every fiber of her being. As such, she saw nothing to be lost by marching off to a battle with impossible odds, for she'd been living with the looming threat of death since the beginning. If she was going to die one way or another then it may just as well be here than anywhere else. She regretted not giving her farewells to her sister, but she knew Sierra to be stronger than she let on and that was all that she needed. She would go and she would fight; if she lived to die another day then it was simply meant to be by the iron fist of Fate.
Celus watched the others in a manner similar to Era and Ethfael's watching. He was proud of them all for being here, but there was sadness in his eyes too. All these bright young spirits marching out to fight for something they believed in; these Pokemon with so many years that their lives hadn't met yet were willing to throw them away for such a cause. It was a noble but very foolish thing that no one could prevent. "So why are you here?" The softness of a whisper caused the Ivysaur to turn and see Avaria looking at him curiously. "You're a mess of emotions Celus, what are you thinking."
The Dual Type paused and looked at the small Legend with his regret evident in his gaze. "I want them to live," he stated simply, looking over at the tense group of six that stood to the side of them both. "They have their whole lives in front of them. I've lived a good time but none of them have, and there are plenty more in this world who deserve that right to life as much as any of us. I want them to survive and I want them to flourish with their lives. It's what they deserve, and I want to make certain they get that chance."

♠ Aloura ♥ Lavicus ♣ ♦Connery♠Crimson ♥ It was a strange alarm. Strange in the sense that Aloura had never heard it before. She knew what it meant though, and that was cause enough for worry: It had been briefly introduced to her when she'd entered the guild and labeled then as the most severe of alerts. All guild members were either given the choice to take part in the battle or evacuate. No one was to stay behind. "For what is the cause of such alarm?" Aloura wondered aloud, peering out the team room's window. Team Snow Hushed had been absent from the guild for quite sometime and consequently had less of an idea than most what the day held in store. They'd heard but a few scant rumors. All in all not much to go by.
"We'll find out soon enough," replied Lavicus curtly. There was no need to say that he and Aloura would be fighting, not fleeing. They had not come here to only run away after all.
"Crimson, will you fight with us or go with Connery?" the serpent inquired, in tones just as curt as his first comment. The flygon seemed affronted, but Connery spoke before she had the chance to voice her complaint. "Hey! Who said I was going to run! I never said that!" Lavicus gave the mudkip a well practiced, hard stare. "You're a child." was all he said.
"You always say that! the tiny pokemon retorted, You know, the grown ups here get to have all the fun. Kids are stuck with all the boring stuff. Isn't that an oxymoron?" Connery was fond of the occasional 'big' word.
Connery, Aloura interjected sothingly, obviously an old hat at smoothing over arguments between the two. "Off you must be, little one. Your heart is of the brave, but where we are going is no place for the sight of your eyes."
The child took advantage of the absols odd form of speech in his sharp reply,"What do my eyes have to do with it?"
"Eyes are of much importance. But my meaning was not what you twist it to be. You know of my meaning." Aloura replied gently, with a natural musical lilt, "You must depart."
"But..."
"Little one." even Aloura's characteristically docile tones contained a hard, unmoving seriousness. Helped along by a steady gaze from her seviper partner, the mudkip caved. The child lowered his eyes in defeat as he muttered something more on the subject of oxymorons.
A slightly flustered Crimson took the opportunity of relative silence to speak. "I for one will not be running." she said assertively. She may as well as added 'it offends me that you would even think so' for all her rigid posture spoke of. Lavicus inclined his head to the flygon, acknowledging her accompaniment with a hint of approval. "We'd better go then. Aloura?" The leader gave Connery a swift hug, murmuring for him to stay safe, before joining her other two team members. "Let us be off," she nodded to the two grown pokemon before turning to the tiny pokemon one last time, "Connery, stay to the roads of caution. Vow to me."
"I promise." he responded a bit sullenly, still sore at being left behind. Without further ado, they parted ways. The child towards what was hopefully safety and the team towards some unknown chaos.
When the latter reached the area were teams were beginning to gather there was an obvious tension in the air. Not unusual in and of itself. But underling that was a sense of finality strung throughout the various teams. An unnerving feeling to say the least. "There will be bloodshed today." the flygon commented grimly. Aloura did not disagree. Infact, Crimsons comment was so common sense it was almost foolish to say out loud: When the alarm sounded there inevitably was fighting. Fighting and blood. Aloura may not have been about the guild long, but long enough to know at least that. What she worried, had the sudden, horrible sense of, was that today would harbor more spilt blood then ever before. "It seems to me that there will be more lost then blood," Lavicus commented, outdoing the flygon for grimness. It was all then could do to hope hopelessly that he was wrong.

xxxxxx xx xx xxx xx x Andrew && Rani && Thomas && Jordan && Isanna && Arden
"You saw a what?" Thomas eyes had grown wide, he had heard what his pupitar leader had said already loud and clear, but he couldn't help but have the ground-type swing that one by him again. "A mewtwo." the echo from his shell confirmed. A deep breath could heard being taken from inside the natural armor. "The strange alarm, the evacuations. They're all doing this because we're all probably going to die. There are a bunch of teams getting together to try and end all this chaos, but -" He stopped and shut his eyes, the eerie silence said it was simply an desperate attempt to do the impossible and stop the inevitable. The five pokemon in front of him exchanged uncertain glances, he noticed his tepig friend wimper and Isanna dig her head into Arden's leg, who responded by dipped his head and gently covering her with his wing. "None of us signed up for this..." Andrew stumbled the words out. "I can understand if any of you want to go and get away while you can, but I'm going..." He stared down at the floor. There was no choice for him. The guild was in terrible danger and it meant everything for him to help, not to mention that terrible eevee that had stolen his dearest friend's life. He wanted revenge. "I'm coming with you." He was honestly surprised to hear the nidorina speak up, she carried a solemn expression, one he had never seen before. "I can't let you go out there alone. Not after everything that's happened." "Same here. There's no running from s**t this big." Jordan's sharp, electric pelt started bristling. "And if we die, then at least we're going down as some heroes, right?" "You're right." Isanna sighed, a small smile on her face. "Count me in." Arden gave the captain a simple nod, a determined look on his face. Andrew could have almost laughed, they must have all been insane. He didn't know what to say. The volunteers had already come by and transported their eggs to safety and most had already evacuated. The only thing left to do was go. "Alright, I expect we'll meet up in hell by the end of the night. Let's go!" The jolteon barked and led the team out of the dorm and into the halls. Andrew stayed near the back, but before they turned the corner out of site of their rooms, he noticed his co-captain was gone. "Rani?" the ground-type called. A few moments later the poison pokemon ran down the corridor with a small leather bag around her neck and under one arm. "I'm sorry, I had to grab something." she said quickly, leaving no room for explanations. "Let's go."

Team Wonderland minds' were crashing. "Ok... Lily, you're coming with me and Ailleen and Emily are lea-" "N"o." The faces of Team Wonderland hardened as the impending fight loomed. "Well I'm com-" Again, the Vulpix intervened. "No. Beatrice, you have no freaking idea what went down on Twisted Spire. I have no freaking idea what went down on Twisted Spire, and I was there. You are evacuating. Now." Ailleen's face shocked Beatrice into silence. For once, the Ralts had no words, no argument. "If Team Wonderland's captain is to be remembered, she is to be remembered as a hero who escorted her city to safely. Find my little sister for me. Send her my regards if I never come back."
With that, Ailleen stormed out the door, Lily snaking behind. The Dratini was new to this stuff. She had no freaking idea what was going on, only that s*** was about to go down. Emily cast a furtive glance back at Beatrice. The expression on her face read, 'Help them live. Please'. "Hey... Beatrice? If you see my parents.. Tell them I'm sorry..." That was what brought the tears. Beatrice had to watch her team throw themselves to death's gate. The Ralts started crying as she packed anything important.
The three members of Team Wonderland who weren't packing were running to the hall. As they entered, Emily and Ailleen recognized some faces. Hiro, the Mewtwo, Raith, Lunar, Tempest, and Solaris, amongst others. Ailleen was first to feel the suction of the teleport. "Oh holy crap, I swear if we land on a mountain-" Lily wrapped herself around Ailleen and Emily, on whispered command from the latter.

It was late when Ein returned to the collective room of Team Kusa. He was blank-faced and unresponsive towards any line of questioning presented to him such as "Where where you?" or "What's going on" for those who had a sense that something was up with the guilds. All he said was: "It's your turn now." His eyes clearly bloodshot amongst other signs of tears that had come with the recollection of past memories once thought to be left far behind. His words were thrown in the direction of Finian; the Absol getting all the answers he needed once an alarm sounded and he left behind the rest of his team in safety, reporting to the main hall. Some of which gathered there clearly already had a large battle just behind them by the look of fatigue on most, but the air of sheer terror and sorrows hinted towards what was to come in the near future. Sure, some were holding light conversation amongst their own teams, but for the most part the majority in attendance were eerily silent. He opted for staying the same; he had the slightest idea of the battle ahead of him but nothing concretely formed. All he knew was that he was ready and willing in this moment to die for his guild. It wouldn't be something that he was aiming for; he wasn't some self centered martyr looking for the most honor possible in his death. In fact, he wasn't even ready to die at all. He just knew that it was bound to happen at some point and it wouldn't be any happier than to go out in battle fighting for a cause he trusted well. The sirens that sounded moments ago and still whirred in the back of his mind less noticed than before were different than the norm. What was happening now was that the guilds were calling for evacuation of common citizens. This much implied that they would be under siege. They would be the ones on the receiving end of an attack, at a disadvantage from the start. They were fighting for the sake of protecting, not for gaining, something which fueled him all the more. Whatever they were facing, the Absol deemed as cowardly. It was simply dishonoring to put simple civilians in harm's way, never mind the fact that not all those at the guild were trained fighters. To be honest, as he was thinking about it, he was hardly all that capable himself; just your common Absol with a savoir complex driving him into doing wild things like giving himself up to "better causes" whatever they may be. As he defined it mentally, he truly accepted and approved of his existence.

Skye & ZoriSkye flattened her ears, suddenly finding herself back within the main hall of the guild. That figure... it had brought chills to her bones, and she knew without a doubt that she could not escape it. That thing would destroy them all, if nothing was done to say otherwise. There was the shuffle of feet as many among their numbers shifted to leave, some as bold as to sprint from the group and into the dark hallways that surrounded. Some cried, dragged down by the terror and the panic. Others merely huddled close together, fearful for their lives. It was then that she remembered the words of the Pikachu before them, the sound of it echoing in her ears like the deepened chiming of a church bell. They might not come back.
She nodded to Tempest and Solaris, not even caring if they'd noticed the gesture. She had somewhere to be. She had to find her family, her team. Regardless of what they told her, of what they demanded, she would go with the others. She didn't know why or how, but something about that looming figure, that darkness on the horizon... it drew her ever closer. It made her heart feel heavy and leaden, to think of staying behind when she was needed so direly. If she did not go, there would be little left of her sanity to live with. Her conscience would not let her rest, after that; she was sure of it.
The Eevee's paws met the cool stone of the upper floor, the darkness around her much more difficult to see through. Her eyes had yet to adjust to the shadows as she was drawn into the firm grip of another. She cried out, but the sound was muffled by a paw, a familiar voice lulling her back to an old feeling of security. Her mother was gentle as she gave her shoulders a loving squeeze with her leafy tail, and the feel of a warm tongue rasped over her forehead more than once. Skye leaned against Zori's chest, fighting the urge to cry as the evening's events seemed to sweep over her. It was such a hopeless, despairing feeling, to know that today would make all the difference in the future of everyone. Whether or not they'd live to see tomorrow... it depended almost entirely on what would occur in the night before. This wasn't a battle that they could afford to lose, but she didn't know how to explain it to her mother.
"Mom, I-" she began, her voice shaky as she struggled to find her confidence. There was no way to tell the ones that you loved that their world was to crash down around their ears. How could you bear to tell someone, if you really cared about them, that they had to risk their lives for the sake of everyone imaginable? As it turned out, she didn't have to.
"You live, Skye. That's what matters now. ...But you must be still; I don't have much time to explain, before we leave for battle." Skye didn't understand, pulling away from her mother slightly. Her voice was as shaky as her own, something which she'd not often heard. Despite this, it was the tone that really bothered her; it was as if she were admitting to something. Secrets. After all of this time, there were still secrets to be dealt with. She hoped that this would be the last of it all, of all the whispers that went unspoken within their team. Harumi's troubles had been more than enough, in her opinion.
Her focus shifted quickly to the rest of their family, as she recognized that they might be in need of their help. "Mom, where are the others? Where's Dad, Kaiyou...?" Would they be fighting? As much as she didn't want to see her family in such a brutal war, she knew that they would want to be a part of this. Aside from that, it was certainly difficult to say if they'd be safe either way. If they lost this fight, nothing was ever to be guaranteed again.
"You father’s gone with the others, preparing to fight. Kai and Gary have Istas and the twins with them; we need to get you back to them, where it's safe." Her mother's words were swift and soothing, but the comfort was not appreciated as much as it normally would have been. Skye had no intention of fleeing to hide like a frightened mouse; she'd already decided that much. "Come quickly, Skye. I expect they'll be leaving shortly, and I'd rather you didn't have to make a part of the trek on your own."
Skye didn't follow as her mother moved to lead her away, the ears of the young Eevee flattening gently against her head. "Mom, I'm not going with them." The Leafeon paused at her words, and Skye could see the uncertaintity quickly building in her mother's expression. She didn't have a choice; this was something that she just had to do, whatever the consequences. '...I'm... aware... that there's no turning back. I didn't expect any different. But I have to fight, Mother. I can't really explain it, I just know that I have to be there."
There was a long silence that stretched between them, dark eyes met golden. There was a sort of tense understanding, and Zori took a tentative step toward her daughter. She ducked her head slightly. "...Skye, I think it's time I told you the truth."
"...No more secrets?" The Eevee questioned softly, her tone guarded and cautious. She wasn't sure what her mother spoke of, but she wasn't sure if she was to like it.
"...No. No more secrets." Zori began, managing a comforting smile. "I hadn't wanted to tell you so soon... but I feel the time is right. Skye, before you were born, I went to see an Espeon by the name of Neon. You wouldn't remember her well; you've only met her once when you were young. ...She told me of a prophecy. Few others know about this, Skye, and I can't stress the importance of that remaining as such. ...Skye, I think it concerns you."
- - - - -
The younger followed her mother with short but graceful strides, walking faster to keep up with the long-legged Grass-type. She was cautious to stay out of the way of some of the larger Pokemon, who in their rush and careless abandon, were quite likely to tread on someone's tail. Strangely enough, most Pokemon didn't ever think to look down, when walking in a hallway.
"Doku!" Her mother's voice was surprisingly clear, even above the sheer noise of the great entrance hall around them. Skye found herself unsurprised that Harumi was with the others, but somehow it did little to ease her worries. How was everyone supposed to live through something like this...? She just wanted to see her family safe and happy again, even just for a moment, after this. 'If I make it that far... No. Don't count yourself out before you even get moving, Skye. You need to stay focused.'
Skye padded up to her sister, dark eyes fixed on the younger Eevee as she stood beside her family and teammates. The Umbreon and Scyther from the Valentine's Day celebration were both there, the latter looking a great deal more nervous than she'd ever seen him. The Scyther, too, looked uneasy, but he seemed more resigned to the task ahead than his younger companions. Harumi just looked confused; both fiercely determined to prove herself strong, and guilty for every reason beneath the sun. Skye knew better than to question it; not at a time like this. "...Haru." There was nothing to say but her sister's name, for once the Eevee caught at a loss for words. She knew that her family might not come back; she knew that she mightn't return, herself. There was no promise she could make that she could be sure to keep, except for the one promise that had always gone unspoken; she was proud to be Harumi's sister, and she always would be.
The elder of the two curled her fluffy tail around her paws, sitting beside Harumi like a graceful, eloquently-carved statue. Her ears were flattened as she quickly began to go over any and all of the few techniques and tactics she'd ever noticed, studied, or learned.
Lost in focus, the Eevee barely noticed as her mother rasped a tongue over her forehead, before moving to do the same to Harumi. Then, the feminine Grass-type had her nose pressed to Doku's shoulder, steeling herself over for the battle to come.

& & & & & ( Saraph & Alaisdair & The Raven & GOOP & Ravi & Jo(e)y )Saraph handed over the small, pouting Rattata in his arms over to the larger, older one. She and Vertigo had tried to tag along, they wanted to fight though Blue and Red told them not to, and insisted on being with them. When told they were going to evacuate with them, the two hid and refused to show themselves. They were too young to understand just how dangerous it was for them, and the team would rather they be mad now and evacuate than put them at risk.
Violetta was the hardest of the two, seeing as she was so small and hard to get a hold of. In the end, however, Saraph's psychic prevailed, and Blue held Vertigo in his arms, Purple holding onto Violettas paw firmly. "We cannot thank you enough for helping find them. Time is surely of the essence" Saraph smiled, "Anything, its my pleasure"
Blue looked over them all. With him were Red, Jay, the girls, and Purple. The rest of the team stood before him now, all of them behind Saraph. The Sneasel looked up at him, "Are you sure you'll be fine? We can take you all with us, if its fine" Saraph shook his head, "Our minds are made up, Blue. You're going, both because you're the leaders or you need to take care of the kids. We, however, have no reason not to stand up and fight" Blue began to bite her lip. He knew that they were only thinking of the best for her, but it still made her feel uneasy. If anything happened to them, it was under the names of those who were responsible for them, and that was her. At this point, however, they could not be convinced otherwise.
"Saraph, Alais, Rave, Goop, Joey, you all have my blessings then" she looked over at Saraph, "I trust you then, to lead them for me. You may be the newest on our team, but you are one of the most organized" Jay gave a loud yawn behind them, his body becoming enveloped in a black, glimmering wave as he took on the shape of a Togekiss. "Hey, hate to interrupt but the worlds about to explode or something and we really need to get going Quickly, Blue went over, sitting on Jay's back as the others filed over there. We'll see you all in two days, things should be fine by then "Understand'ble" Joy had a shaky Alaisdair in his hands and a Goop stuck atop his head now as he began to turn around. "We'll be headin' out then, y'al go and be safe now"
With a last few waves of goodbye, they split, Saraph and his group exiting out into the main hall with heavy feet along with the other guilders, unknown to them with a sixth, unofficial and unseen member following behind them. :: :: ✗ Senka :: Louvell :: Fredrick ✗

Incultyr && Morana && Veritas && Atra && Melissa && Hope && Zero && SuicuneTeam Polaris had missed the alarm in the guild, as the entire Team had not been back to the castle much since the last attack. Their room was more or less destroyed and the injuries they had all suffered gave them sufficient reason to excuse themselves from their jobs as Exploration Team members. Not that lately jobs have been a priority in anyone's mind. That, and the fact Morana's older sister was gravely injured left a subdued feeling hanging around the team like dark clouds. So for the past few weeks, Team Polaris simply stayed in their rooms at their shop. When the alarm in the city went off though, Morana immediately ran to the castle to find out what was happening. The Houndoom stayed only long enough to have Solaris's words relayed to her by a fellow guildmember before rushing back to the team. It seemed like the Guild had left and ran into Archer. It took a bit of explaining -most of the team remember fighting that Mewtwo- but the facts were clear. It was now or never. They had to take the fight to the Elites and their leaders. "You're not coming." Incultyr told Veritas firmly. The Jolteon had been injured in the fight against Chronus, and her weakness was apparently despite her best efforts to hide it. The Jolteon bared her teeth at her team leader, suddenly aggressive. "I'm going Incultyr. I'm not going to run away and hear about the death of my friends afterwards. Not again. I can fight, I can help." The argument lasted all of about ten minutes, which was ended when Morana finally stepped in and allowed the injured Jolteon to join, on the condition that she was the one who carried their Team Badge. Morana wasn't sure if it'd work where they were going...but it was better than nothing. Chronicler, Crown, Skye and Acer stayed behind as their three fighters headed for the castle. They would evacuate with the rest of the citizens, however much help that would do if the guilds were to fail. --- Zero was at a small private hospital in town. As Zosee was no longer an official guild member, the limited beds at the Infirmary were given priority to injured guild members, and there were no shortages. When the alarm for evacuation happened, the Glaceon found out very quickly what was going on- the doctors had psychic connections to the guild. "Help the docors and your mother evacuate. Protect them at all costs, understood?" Zero tasked his daughter. Zora nodded gravely, bearing her fangs an affirmative. It pained him to leave Zosee, but it sounded like he was needed. The Guild will need all the experienced fighters they can get, and as far as he was concerned he was one of the best available to them. --- "For the last time no.""And what makes you think you can decide that?" Melissa huffed angrily, glaring at her Team leader. Hope had just returned from her trip to the castle to find out what was going on. Team Azalea had been staying in Pluto's manor after their own Team room had been destroyed. As has become custom before any seemingly dangerous mission, Atra and Melissa were locked into a heated debate where Atra was doing his best to keep the bulbasaur off the battlefield. Atra always gave in before. But he sure as well wasn't going to let her this time. Why couldn't she understand that what they were fighting was beyond her? Hasn't she seen the kind of things they were up against? Why was she so stubborn to insist on risking her life where she wasn't needed? "Atra, let her go." Hope finally cut in and the Flareon turned to her, surprised. "But-""She knows what she's up against Atra, she's always known. She's willing to risk everything. That's why she joined you, even after what had happened to Melanie. I can see this."It frustrated Atra to hear this from someone who had been a mere child a few months prior. But he knew Hope was right, he's known all along. Something about letting Melissa go just seemed way too reminiscent of Molly though. "Damnit, fine. But if anything happens I want you to take Melissa and get somewhere safe, understood?"There were no further arguments. Katara would not be coming with them, as the ditto was still recovering from the fight against Eridanus. With some final goodbyes to Lillium and the rest of the staff, Hope took the trio to the Castle. --- Suicune had been lying in wait near the Castle ever since Eridanus attacked. She knew that something big was about to happen, and that she should be here for it. Now seemed to be the time. The legendary slipped her way into the main hall quietly and waited for events to unfold.
