This village works hand and hand with Mariko as both the villages keep track of the ever wandering Sea Monster Astrarot to know when it is best time to fish, and when to make the most profit. Because of the prosperity gained from fishing this village has built a tall rock wall that surrounds the entire village to help protect it from most demons. This is a tall wall provides the only entrance, where guards regularly take post to regulate visitors, and to sound alarms to sudden attacks. |

Course of Action Taking: Flying to Akemi.
What is expected of him?: To fill his stomach.
Λmatsu had taken to flying across the vast peninsula that separated the rocky outcropping from the large village of Akemi, which was situated near the ocean shore. Despite the dangers that could arise from being so close the ocean; those dangers being hurricanes, possible tsunamis and even attacks from the local sea monster, the Oceanic Dragon Astarot, the village still thrived thanks to the large structure of stone wall built around its perimeter. The wall itself provided no obstacle to Amatsu, in fact it gave him a nice vantage point in which he could scope out his next victims. At night, he would not be seen and so would not be bothered by the guards who patrolled the front gate announcing their alarms. Not that they were any threat to him anyhow, their antics to stop him simply amused him. He could easily destroy their entire village in a matter of minutes if it pleased him to do so. He allowed his wings to expand fully; letting the updrafts of wind carry him on their invisible eddies of air, his tail behind him acting as a sort of rudder to guide his course. He considered why he was traveling to the village in the first place, was the only reason because he was hungry? Or had he simply become that dependent on humans to satisfy his boredom? How undeniably dull his life had become. The only other excitement he had nowadays was tormenting his mate Yuuki, who would of course be annoyed by his absence. Why she always tried to keep him cooped up in his own Keep, no less had always left him feeling restless and itching any source of activity. He knew that she would soon be leaving the castle soon as well, and would most likely be following him close behind, no doubt to try and stop him before he reached the village.  Arrived in Akemi. Ʈhe attack came suddenly and only seemed to irk Amatsu more for the fact that he had not been able to sense Astarot before he arose from his ocean home. Swamped in a wave of near tsunami magnitude, Amatsu pulled his wings in tight to prevent them being damaged from the force of it. Surrounded by falling waves, Amatsu’s eyes narrowed as the behemoth arose towards him, the sneaky b*****d had learned to hide its aura from him. It seemed to take a millennia for it to come due to the beast's massive size, but of course in actuality only a matter of seconds had passed before Astarot had risen and tried to pull Amatsu under the crashing surface of sea. Amatsu was just about to fly out of the Ocean dragon’s path, but before he could, one of Astarot’s mouth tentacles lashed out and wrapped itself around his tail. Not about to let himself be eaten alive, Amatsu moved. Spinning quickly in the air, Amatsu faced towards the massive beast. He focused his eyes upon the tentacle cutting into his tail before he let his claws fly. A wide arch of black energy sprang from his right hand and tore through the air connecting with the slimy appendage slicing it cleanly in two. The acid like blood splattered across his arm and side as it fell away from him, but he ignored it, so focused was he on getting away. Amatsu didn’t give the beast any time to react to its missing tentacle before he opened his jaws wide and released a large jet of flame upon the other tentacles on its face, the water upon them evaporating instantly, and the skin began to boil under the intense heat. A low groan escaped the beast as it reared back. With that, Amatsu flapped his wings, rising higher and higher until he was above Astarot. He growled lowly, the sounds reverberating deeply within his chest cavity as the massive beast slowly submerged himself beneath the crashing waves once again. He stayed in the area for several more moments, waiting to see if Astarot would rise again. He needed to get away from the ocean. As this happened, the wound on his tail and also where the blood had splattered across his right arm and side began to throb. The pain was dull at first, but steadily it soon became nearly unbearable. He knew of the poisonous nature that Astarot had, though being who he was, a dragon himself, he believed himself to be insusceptible to it. He was obviously wrong. Growling once more this time in annoyance, Amatsu turned and flew towards the mainland, flying high to avoid another attack. Eventually he made it to the shore. His eyes narrowed as he caught the form of a man running from the sight of him, no doubt this human had seen the fight, or perhaps he was simply running from the waves Astarot had produced, either way he would still go and warn the other humans of the village. Irritation moved him as he began his descent, wings tucked tightly to his sides, he angled his body downwards speeding his momentum. Nearly to the ground, he spread his wings in an arch, slowing his speed immensely, as he allowed his form to glide behind the human before he was nearly upon him. He threw his legs forward, the massive claws on each toe splayed wide as he snatched the man up by the upper arms, pinning them in place as his dewclaws pierced his shoulder blades. He flapped his wings once more, rising in the air until he soared passed the village of Akemi. His claws dug deep lacerations into the human’s arms and back causing thick rivulets of blood to pour. Finally over his shock the human began to scream in fear and pain. The screaming was so loud, Amatsu decided it wasn't worth keeping his prey alive. Wings fanning out and rotating them forward, he flipped his legs upward and tossed the human into the air. He caught him by the neck with one hand, and with a firm and swift motion, he shook the human until he felt the vertebra in the man’s neck snap. Finally in blessed silence, he turned in the air, his tail twisting as he changed his course. It was not soon after this that Amatsu sensed Yuuki's aura drawing near him and he stopped, flapping his wings to stay relatively in place as he looked in the direction where he sensed her.

ℂhina blue eyes looked over the huge pool of water that stretched into oblivion, the moonlight reflecting off her frame as she paused her flight, making a quick drawback as she saw the huge sea serpent launch an attack against Amatsu. “Damn fool, why are you never careful?” She spoke softly to herself, her eyes watching him intensely. She did not see the large fish being flung at her and when she turned at the last moment she found herself being pelted by its slippery skin. Her hands drew up in an unexpected manner as she flailed in mid flight before she flung the fish off of her. Still slightly in shock she had found herself gently touching her forehead before her eyes narrowed as she landed in the grass, slightly disturbed of what happened. “W-well that… was odd.” She found herself saying slowly, still thinking the event over before a huge wave swept at her. Her eyes widened as the waters pushed her face against the grass and her clawed hands dug into the ground to avoid being pulled back with the water. She growled softly, her eyes still shut as her ears twitched faintly under her drenched hair. “This night is getting worse and worse…” She mumbled before pulling herself from the ground, hoping that Amatsu didn’t notice her just yet. Just then another wave flung around the area, too small to reach her this time as she could make out Amatsu blowing a bright flame at the beast, causing it to submerge once more. Yuuki raised an eyebrow as she noticed that he took off once more, and then she heard screaming off in the distance. “D-damn it, Amatsu. Why do you insist on killing humans when I can get dinner for you!” She yelled loudly, half knowing he might not hear her over the humans screams. “You’re such a pain!” She yelled out louder as the wind surrounded her form, quickly drying herself off, save for her dress that was still partly damp as she proceeded to fly after him.

Λmatsu's ears twitched lightly as he caught her irritated voice carried on the wind. Raising a brow, he turned again, this time seeing her as she flew the distance towards him. The human he had killed hung limply from his hand, blood dripping down his hand. His eyes narrowed slightly, he could simply hide the damn thing, but then again why did he feel the need? She should be used to his eating habits by now. He grit his fangs slightly as the pulsing from the wound on his tail and also where the blood on his person continued to throb, it was rather bothersome, he needed to rid himself of it.
As she was finally before him, huffing and slightly out of breath, mostly due to her irritation, he noticed that she was drenched in what appeared to be sea water, and she reeked distinctly of tuna. His eye brow rose once more, as he regarded her appearance before his eyes rose to her own, "I certainly hope this will not be made a new habit, I do not think I would enjoy the smell of fish slime every time I pulled you into bed." He smirked.
From her appearance, it was clear that she had been near while he had been fighting with Astarot, "I thought to give you some time to yourself, but here you are. Have you already come to miss my presence so much? I lack words to express how I feel, Yuuki. Could it be true that you have become so fond of me that you cannot even spend one night without me near?" He laughed a little, knowing his words would annoy her as he awaited her response. |

What is expected of him?: Let his woman rant and try to keep her from becoming even more angry in the process.
Λmatsu watched as she quickly approached. He followed her with his gaze and as she fluttered around him, taking in the injury on his tail. It wasn’t really even that bad. If it had been any other sort of injury, his healing process would have already mended the wound, but considering that it was from another dragon, well it was the only conclusion he could deduce. It was the only plausible excuse he could inherit anyhow that a dragon's attack would be different than any other. His eyes focused on her as she began to speak, his eyes widened minutely as she began to scold him, before his features settled into its usual scowl.
“Yuuki, if you would only allow me to expla-“ he began, intending to tell her that the situation truly was not at all dire before she cut him off.
His brows lowered as she continued to rant, and he sighed softly and briefly through his nose. He shook his head and his eyes averted rising to the moon, as he let her speak her mind. He judged the time to be roughly after midnight before they lowered to the human who was rapidly cooling in the night breeze. It was obvious to him now that the man had most definitely been an outcast of the village. If he could deduce that from his appearance alone. He speculated that this particular human had most likely been a bandit and the reason why he was out at such a late hour could possibly have meant that he had been planning a raid. Though a one armed man was hardly any threat to the practical fortress that the village of Akemi provided. That, or he could have been the village drunk.
Amatsu's eyes slid back toward her own as she spouted on about how he apparently seemed wholly incapable of fending for himself, and also it seemed his own healing abilities were basically null compared to her own. He chose not to remind her that he had already lived nearly five thousand years without her aid.
He would admit, however he had been careless. If he had been paying attention he would have been more aware of Astarot's approach, and also all that the ocean dragon had done was burn away a layer of his skin... However, that wasn't what was currently irritating him, as it seemed the blood from the other dragon was causing the main issue.
He blinked as she suggested mud. Perhaps mud wasn't such a bad idea... as mud itself did hold properties to help in treating minor jellyfish stings by sucking out the venom... though Astarot was hardly a jellyfish, it was at least worth a try.
His eyes rose to hers as her rambling broke off, and it was then that he noticed that she was trying to conceal her tears. Had she really been that worried? Or were her senses clouded by all of the blood? He watched as she shook her head, and pressed a hand to her temple, before glancing up at him briefly through her hair before she turned away.
His large hand reached out and encircled her arm before gently pulling her back, thus causing her to face him again. He looked down at her lightly upturned face, and his eyes softened, "Yuuki, I will apologize that I had worried you, however you need to calm yourself. If you would use your senses, you will realize that the majority of this blood is not my own. The only injury I attained is a minor skin wound on my tail, the blood on my body is from the injuries that I gave to Astarot." His baritone voice was soft compared to his usual tone, as he tried to alleviate her fears.

Λmatsu watched her gaze as she took in what he had told her. Her china blue eyes softening with understanding. He followed the motion of her hand as she went to grasp his much larger hand into her own, his expression warming slightly at the gesture. His fingers curled, lacing between hers. His wings flapped in time with hers as he took advantage of the wind she produced, in their short span of conversation he had almost forgotten how her wind powers made flight near effortless. He glanced around the area briefly, silently discerning a proper place in which they could land. A place in which would attract the least amount of attention. Last he needed was another troublesome monster to be lurking about. Not that it was much of a threat, he simply was in no mood to deal with them. In his momentary lapse, he had failed to see her reaction to the filthy human in his grasp. His violet orbs darted back to her however at her last comment, and his eyes squeezed shut and he flinched away as she poked at his side to avoid further probing, his eyes narrowing as a small smirk toyed at his lips, "Why?" He asked before bringing it forward and wiggling it in his grasp, "does it make you queasy?" His expression darkened with his humor. |

тhe Dragon's wings spread wide as he swiftly slowed his descent, thick tail twisting behind him as he angled his wings against the wind as he neared the forest canopy. Dropping below the red and green maple leaves, he tucked in his wings before he landed softly against the leave strewn floor. His vigilant eyes caught the flash of a rabbit as it ran to the safety of its home at the sight of him. The claws of his feet pressed neatly into the ground as he glanced behind him, spying Yuuki before he turned back and he stepped forward. The smells of numerous wildlife were present as he swiftly located a moss covered boulder and walked toward it.
He sat the human beside it, the corpse leaned to the side, head drooped. At its base, was a plentiful supply of moist earth, stooping low he cupped a handful of it and inspected it briefly before bringing it to the blood on his arm, spreading it smoothly across his skin, before he gathered more, repeating the process and insuring that the mixture blended between the scales there. He then did the same to his side. Steadily the burning ache began to null, the dirt would do for now he supposed until he found a proper spring. Finally stepping onto the boulder's lush surface, he turned and gracefully sat facing toward where Yuuki would be. His wings settled comfortably along his shoulder blades and his tail lay lengthwise along the stone. He breathed contentedly as his dark eyes probed the forest for any signs of intruders.
