THIS APPLIES ONLY TO DEMONS AND ANIMALS
You will soon learn while roleplaying in this guild that there are quite a lot of demons roaming about, as well as local wildlife. Now I know that you would love to just start hacking away, however, there are a few rules that all of us MUST follow.
To be completely fair, Yuuki and I have decided that this will all be organized by rolling a 10 sided dice.
Your First Post:
When you first begin to post with the guild, you will be expected to make two posts. Your first post should include personal information about your character such as what they are doing, wearing, their appearance, and a bit of history.
Your second post, is where you will then roll your 10 sided dice to determine the height of threat you will encounter. You must then go back to that second post, where you had rolled and edit it accordingly to what you had rolled.
1-5 is an animal. 6-10 is a demon.
The higher level determines the height of threat. Example a level 1 animal could be a rabbit, while a level 5 animal could be a bear or a hippogryph. Same applies for demons.
This will change depending on what demons and animals are near, you can find which demons and animals are near by looking at the very first description post of the village you are in.
When you do actually initiate a fight with a demon or animal, you must once again roll the 10 sided dice if it is a level 9-10 demon. If you happen to roll a level 9-10 demon then you must write an extra post in which the monster will be given an action to act upon.
If you roll lower than a 9-10 demon then you can simply include the entire encounter within one post.
Your first post will include that the animal/demon has been noticed.
Your second post will include what the demon will do to react to your presence. (only if it is a level 9-10)
Note: a Level 9 demon can be killed, though not easily, a level 10 cannot be killed. Ever. Not even Yuuki or I am allowed to kill them. You will have to use your head to get out of these situations.
Later Down The Road:
Later on in the rp, you will also have to roll the dice whenever you enter into a new area; such as entering a village or leaving it or entering a forest or the mountains, you must roll the 10 sided dice to determine the height of threat you will encounter in each area. This will help keep things interesting, especially if you are roleplaying by yourself at the time. If your character can fly, you must roll for each landmark or town you pass.
These actions below will only apply when you are confronted by a level 9-10 demon, whatever you roll is what the demon will do to you.
1 Miss
2 Miss
3 Glancing blow
4 Blood is Drawn
5 Broken bone
6 Deep wound (Damage to a non fatal organ)
7 Loss of a Limb (Option to flee)
8 Injury of a fatal organ (Option to flee)
9 Fatal Injuries (death is coming, option to flee)
10 Automatic Flee (meaning you, not the demon)
Side Note:
ALWAYS you have the decision to walk away, even from a 9-10 demon, but only after you give the monster a chance to make a move.
Let me stress this once more: Level 9 demons can be killed though not easily, but level 10 demons cannot be killed at all.
With a 6-8 level roll, just because you rolled a powerful creature does not mean you have to fight it. What you roll could also mean that that type of creature just so happens to be walking by. You can hide from it, or walk away from it.
Please take into account the abilities and temperament of the demon as you do this, it will keep your posts accurate. Take into account that demons have a heightened sense of smell and hearing.
Group Fighting:
If you are traveling in a group. All of you will have to roll in the designated areas. This can sometimes mean that you will have to fight up to two or three demons at a time. If one person rolls a 9 or 10, it is an automatic flee for the lower level creatures that are rolled. Lower level demons will always flee from a higher level demon.
If one person in your group rolls a level 10 then you all must roll a second time to give the high level demon a chance to respond to all of you. The person who had originally rolled the demon, its focus will be primarily on them to start out. Though your actions can draw its attention to you instead of them. The person who had rolled the high level demon will also be in control of its actions toward everyone, much like controlling a second role play character in their post. They will be controlling both their character and the demon.
If more than one of your party rolls a high level demon, then you get to choose.
If your party mainly consists of humans, then you will get to choose if you want to fight more than one high level demon, or you can forfeit the other rolls so that only one high level demon will appear.
This will change however, if you party consists of more than one high level character. You will have to keep your rolls, but it is limited to only two level 9 or 10 demons, unless you want to fight more than two.
*It is required that each and every individual here is to post below stating they agree to the terms I have dealt them. No exclusions, you are to post in the due time allotted.*
Thank you and have fun roleplaying!
PS. In case you somehow don't know how to roll a dice I have provided an image. -click-
DISCLAIMER: Yes we know there are a lot of rules, however these are situations that have actually been brought to our attention and need to be addressed.
