Right, lets start this debate. I have been told and have read that running helps you lose weight in your mid section over doing just plain sit ups and crunches and etc.

Let me hear your experience with this. neutral Cause if it really is just running then, I can clear up my evenings! blaugh

I can't really help you, I tend to do both. But jogging, is a much easier workout you can keep for a longer amount of time, all it requires is a large space and time. So I'd assume that's the better one.

I usually jog until I ran out of breath then do fast walk until I can start to jog slow again repeating. Drink water during fast walk. Having a dry throat is not even fun.

I was able to maintain 130-140 by doing long distance running back in Track & Field.

After the warm up, we had 30 push ups, 30 sit ups and other things I don't really remember.

Besides, I find running really relaxing. Just as stated above, you need a large time window for it.
