I'd like to create a little thread here where we can share various chants or songs and talk about them. I'll give a few links to start, but I'd love to see what ones others decide to share. Do any have meaning to you, or are they just pretty or easy to listen to? Changeling Child I love this song, because it shows us something about the tricky fae: be careful what you ask of them, and how you ask it. Three Black Crows I'm not even sure why I like this song so much XD It's just kind of... pretty. I like the idea of it, and it makes me think when I'm outside reading: if the birds could talk, what would they think about humans? She is Crone This is the chant I listen to when I meditate at night. It's calming and helps me clear my mind.

I do like all of those songs - especially the first one. Even when I was little I knew that the fae were not what they seemed in Disney movies.

I know, right? I always get funny looks when I talk about it x'D Seems that people like to think of fairies as cute things, like Tinker Bell. Well, tell you what, I'd not be caught intruding in a Fairy Ring. x'D

There was a ring of mushrooms outside my window last year...I took a couple of photos from a distance, but never went anywhere near it. I don't want to piss them off. >.<

The guild seems to be slowing down a bit. I was hoping to get more people here and sharing songs. x'D

One SpiritThis song makes me long for a group... I'm solitary right now, and trying my best to learn what I can. But I desperatly want to be part of something larger. "There is strength in community. A circle empowering you and me. The circle binds yet sets us free." (Also, I loved Hymn to Herne)

Dr. H. Lecter I'm solitary right now, and trying my best to learn what I can. But I desperatly want to be part of something larger. I get that sometimes. I think being a part of a specific religion helps to some degree.

I don't really have a specific religion. I just... I don't know. Practice the Craft and honor life. Burning TimesThis song was painful. I hate thinking about any point in history when people were seperated and killed for their beliefs or race. From the Christian martyr's in the Roman Collessium(sp?) to the Burning Times and the Holocaust. EDIT:Oh s**t, it's the faeries! I laughed my a** off when I heard this song. I almost didn't post it here, but I couldn't help myself! x'D Lessong learned!
