So I wrote this last night, in the space of about 3 minutes. So its still very non developed. But I wrote the first line which I had been thinking and it all just kinda spilled out.
Beliefs change with time
As do your feelings
These scars are proof of that
Have I reached that point
Where the emptiness is at its limit?
The cuts no longer blur the truth
As my truths themselves are blank
A goblet with no wine
Sits on the shelf blended in
Knowing that it can have use
Bares no relevance to its state
The fact that it can be filled
Holds no reason to think of fulfillment
Those hopes were lost when
The pain no longer helped
If pain is meaningless
Can I feel anything at all
The last drop of hope
Lays dried and cracked on my palm
I have no need of tomorrow

i like the rhythm and the tempo when i read this. its flows nicely from one line to the next.

vegasshopgirl I am a morning person so I guess you are the moon and I am the sun... The moon holds no relevance at all to the sun. The sun is ~65,000,000 times bigger than the moon. The moon is hardly even a spec of dust floating pass the sun. All the moon is, is a bit of earth crust broken off the earth when there was a massive asteroidal collision in the early formation days. Spiritually that changes, but still the suns power is almost always infinite over the moons.
