I've read/seen things like Higurashi, Elfen Lied and Ibitsu, are there anymore you could add to my list? It's much easier for the moment to read them instead of watch, so if you could just help my list of horror mangas grow, I'd love ya for it biggrin

like the above posts pretty much anything from junji ito! if you haven't read gyo i'd go for that too! and the ring manga is pretty creepy too and i am hero if you haven't already read any of those whee
i am hero starts out pretty slow but once the creepy comes in you'll know eek

Basically anything by Junji Ito is great. Definitely got the paranormal/horror stuff going on. Just boosting this post because dang, horror mangas is ♥.

Ghost hunt is a watch. It's a sort of horror but not to much. Ergo proxy is good but it takes a long time to understand what the hell they are talking about... ummm... i would also recommend Basilisk o.o that is some weird s**t but interesting... That's all i can really recommend... for horror wise... Elfen lied was to die for <3 and when they cry *swoons*

Well there's still School Ningyo. That's a horror-story.
Also, Bio-Meat. It's not exactly horror, but it's creepy and bloody. And just when you think it's over, someone comes up with a way to start the whole thing again. wink

Another, Deadman Wonderland and Mirai Nikki. All of them had animes that came out in the last year or so. They were really good. Another and Mirai Nikki's manga are both finished while DW is still going.
