The Gold saucer top class resort, casino, race track, even a Colosseum! The Gold saucer has tons of fun areas for everybody. At its center is a large tower that reaches up to the heavens. As you enter you notice your walking over a very bridge that sits over a 30 foot drop, below the drop is the amusement zone, a large world class amusement park. Around the tower at any giver time one can see the 6 floating zone's circling the tower. The lowest is the race dome, home to a number of different speed events. Next is the Resort dome, here there are hotels, spas, hundreds of different things to help the mind and body relax. After that is the Casino want to try your luck? This zone is a gamblers dream. Then there is the restaurant area, from a burger stand to 5 star gourmet, if your hungry this is the place to be. Second to last is the ARENA! Come and test your strength, many different events are held threw out the year. Finally high above the rest the Arcade zone, a proverbial gamers wet dream.
Base- Slightly below where you enter you can see the Amusement zone, a huge amusement park covering a radius of two miles, thousands of fun rides await you. The amusement zone is home to the worlds fastest roller coaster, THE SPEED DEMON! Can you survive being thrown to the back of your seat? Can you withstand the up to 4 g's of force? If you think your ready come take on the demon!
Bottom- The first station is the Race dome! Many types of event are held here every week from demolition, to chocobo races! If your looking for a little excitement, thrills, or even a little danger, the Race Dome is the place for you!
Second from bottom- The second station is the Resort zone. Here is where you will find a varying style, and class of different hotels. All with there different accommodation, As well as hot spring, public or personal showers, changing room, sauna's, work out rooms, hot tubs, pools, even medical specialists.
Third from bottom- The third station is the Casino zone. Here is the spot for getting a little loose with your money, maybe you'll get lucky and it will pay off for you. In the casino, is also where the betting hall is located for any and all race dome, and arena zone events. A number of loan companies and bars are located here as well.
Third from top- The fourth station is the restaurant zone. Nearly any food imagined is served somewhere in this zone, with over one thousand restaurants the sky is the limit for food. From corner shop vending machines, to VIP 5 star gourmet quizines.
Second from top- The fifth station is the Arena! From clashing warrior against warrior, to paint ball tournies, In this zone its two men enter one man leaves. For those truly brave, they have the event known as the "Path to Hell". I series of dangerous fights against different things that there only goal in life is to rip you apart. Can your survive?
Top- The sixth and final station is the Arcade zone. If there not at the amusement park, then this would be the other place to look for your kids. Here nearly every known arcade game known to sentient beings is located in this zone some where. There are even stations which one can play classic system games that can be rented for periods of time. Like your games alittle more violent, or with a little more skin? The top floor of the arcade has many mature, and adult games for those with more "mature" tastes in there games.
-Remember before entry all weapons, vehicles are t be removed and stored in one of our lockers, or you can rent your own storage unit which is kept under ground below the gate of the Gold Saucer.
-Always fighting is not permited and at any time, guard drone will use force if combat is not ceased.
-Magic is not only not allowed, but not useable. The Gold Saucer generates a a silence field which, keeps magic from being used at all.
-Remember everybody is here for a good time, please be kind and curtious to those around you.

After setting off very early in the morning gig, with river following closely behind, would finally arrive at the gold saucer. Pulling in there were several other cars and vehicles as well gig and river were probably the only ones on motor bikes. Giglamesh had his normal attire on, with the white helmet and black skull on the forehead over his head and hat, and didnt seem all that cold, possibly because his engines two v six engines put out alot of heat, but a long drive in the wastelands in feburary could be dangerous do to lower temps. Gig was unsure about river, but he was fine. Gig would pull in to the gates of the parking area, and head to the front. At the gold saucer there was ground level parking, and some below ground parking garages. Yet gigs goal was neither, since him and river had alot of weapons, and he did not trust his weapons in the had of a public locker, he was going to rent or buy his own storage unit. Under the gold saucer it has a fairly large mechanical system of storage units, used for obviously storage while one stays at the Gold saucer. If it wasnt that much gig planned on renting one, and depending on how much he liked it here, if it wasnt super expensive, he would buy one...but that would come out of the money he had saved for the upgrade he was wanting on the rv.
Giglamesh eventually made it to the front to a man in a little toll booth type deal. "Hello and welcome to the gold saucer, can i interest you in a storage locker rental?" Because the engies even at idle were fairly loud gig would shut the engine off. "No actually i need a entire storage unit, enough for two bikes and lockers for a large amount of weapons." The young man looked at him, slightly scared gig sounded like he was starting a war. "Umm yes..of course.." He would press a few buttons, to bring a unit around. He would then step over to gig on the bike with a clipboard and papers to sign to confirm rental, and fine print stuff. "If you would sign on the marked areas, and its a weekly rental. Now if i could see your Saucer Badge to confirm your placement." giglamesh was unsure of all this stuff, but the person that requested gig and river for the mission gave them sojme paper work to give to a few different people. After the young man at scanned his badge and brought up the info he got a very shocked look. "Uhh well..uhh...it would seem,...you already own your own storage unit, ill bring it right around for you sir." One could here mechanical noises under the ground but close.
Giglamesh couldnt help but look back at river with a "sir!?" look when he called gig that. Apparently the person contracting giglamesh and river was putting down a few preety pennies for the two of them. Granted together there bounty was 810k gold (60k river), but a multi day pass, hotel and food all covered by the contractor. This mission must be very important to somebody very important, or a trap gig had not decided yet. But if it was not a trap gig was going to go out of his way for results on this one to not let the contractor down. Eventually the ground would raise in front of river and, as it raised it revealed a fairly decent sized metal container. "If you want feel free to park your bikes in here as well. Once inside we will move your unit to the front gate, and once you exit we will lock and seal it giving only you the key. Have a wonderfull time at the gold saucer sir." The young man would wave his hand as if saying proceed. Giglamesh would turn on his bike and drive in, making sure to give river sufficient room to park hers next to his, and have room around it as well.
Oce gig and river were both inside the container would lower and river and gig would be able to feel it move, perhaps by crane or something. Giglamesh would get off the bike and look around, it was like a small or medium sized locker room. Lockers along the walls, and even a double sided row of lockers in the middle. "Could definitively be a trap...." Gig didnt like it, but the person whom contracted gig told him he could not tell him much, except the warning he got. "....In the frozen cold....a army of death....rests, waiting....to take the lives, of those they find...." The contact then told gig to prepare for anything, maybe he thought gig nwould bring a tank or something? Gig would shrug, maybe it was a trap, maybe somebody was doing this to assist gig, to assist themselves. Either way the pay was going to be amazing, on top of the perks there getting so take the good with the bad gig would assume.
giglamesh would Begin to remove his coat and hat setting it on the bench. Then he would begin removing his weapons. First the shoulder straps for the holsters that were under his arms, on his sides for the magic weapons pieces, he would unbuckle, slide it off and hang it in a locker. Next He would remove hydra off cross shoulder strap where hydra sat up on his right shoulder, setting hydra with its holster in a separate locker. Then he would remove baretto itchi from his lower back, off his belt and hang it by its shoulder strap in a third locker. Then gig would remove the thigh harnesses for his two new handgun kusarigama's holsters from his thigh hanging them in a fourth locker, then he would also remove the wound up chain from his lower back on his belt setting it at the bottom of the locker. Giglamesh would remove his arm guards, and shin guards and set them in to there own locker, he would turn the arm guards showing the two fixed blade knives hidden on the backs of them. Where he would kiss his index and middle finger, at same time, touching one finger to both knives.
Giglamesh would then remove his shirt tossing it in to another locker, and he would sit untieing his boots before putting them in to same locker as shirt, then finally his pants, gig was wearing his boxer briefs. He would then walk back over to his bike opening the compartment on his motorbike. Standing there he was could be seen, or see river. with no modest either way gig just stood there with tight little boxer briefs on. He would grab kagetsu, and itchigeki taking them over putting each in to there own lockers. Then he would walk back over grabbing a stuffed backpack. Giglamesh would then walk back to his side of the locker room. Gig would set his hat on top of the lockers, and he would sit on the bench. He would begin to pull some clothes out of the bag...but only half of it, the oither half he put in a locker and closed it still inside the backpack where it could not be seen. Giglamesh would then get dressed in the cloths he removed. A red tee shirt, a massive white zip up jacket with hood, which has tribal dragons wrapping the left arm chest and around to center of back. Then some black, red and white cammo shorts which were also very baggy. Giglamesh would put on some knee high black socks, and then white and black sketchers with red laces. Giglamesh would take his hair out of a pony tail and then comb it so it was parted, then after throwing the hood up. He looked preety much scumbag like, somewhat like a wangster. it was his goal with the hoodie...the rest he would wear normally in public. He would go around to river side leaning against the lockers. "Hurry up.....we got some training to do...but...i guarantee your going to have fun with this training. Plus i think it will help on the mission to come because....well look at this stuff....this is going to be a important mission k?" Giglamesh was starting to get a cigarette out when he noticed the no smoking and kind of gave a scoff. "....dammit...."

ღRiver had gone out for a few rides to clear her head earlier that month. While already February, it was still winter. During the darker hours, the wastelands grew colder as the winter months dredged on. Point being, River had learned her lesson and was wearing her winter bunny jacket, and warm scarf protecting her face. Normally she wore her knee-high boots and fuzzy warmers with this jacket, but wearing a skirt while traveling on atv was foolish; so she had on padded leather pants and some racer boots she had found and re-modified. She had always disliked places that refused to allow weapons so she always found a tiny way to bring something that made her feel safe. The moment they passed under the magic seal, she felt a piece of her gone. River raised her goggles and looked around missing almost the entire conversation Gig was having with the man. She only noticed the raising of the container. She took one more look around before she shifted Helheim’s case on her back and pulled her bike into the unit.
Taking off Helheim, then her jacket, showing a simple tee-shirt, River unwound her scarf and looked around. The place was echoed, so Gig’s remark about a trap lingered as she walked to the lockers. Gee what a cheery thought. River thought to herself and she hung her jacket and scarf in a locker. She then proceeded to shove Helheim’s case into another of the lockers. After, she put her nade chain; belts with the ammo and nades and finally added her gunblades in a separate locker. Really hate no weapons… River thought as she closed the door. Going back to her bike; River took out a duffle bag from under the seat and unpacked some clothes she had rolled up to store. Not wearing this in there. She thought with a scoff putting the duffle bag away as well. Changing quickly; River now wore a punk equivalent to a black business suit with chain, belts and pins; topped off with a thin purple tie. When Gig peeked around the corner River was horrified by what he was wearing. ”Seriously? That is what you are wearing???” She asked ignoring his comment about training. Nope not going out in public with you like that. No sir. She thought crossing her arms.ღ

Giglamesh would just blink, he idnt know what she meant by that. "What do you mean...Is this what im wearing? ...its what im currently wearing...i dont understand your question....." Giglamesh would go back to the other side and remove his massive amount of magazines, shells, grenades and other assorted ammo from his coat and putting it all in to a locker. He would then fold up his coat and tie it around his waist as he normally did when not directly wearing it. Giglamesh would then assume river was ready and press the call button, after a bit of movement the door would open for them to walk out. Giglamesh would step out and see that they were on the outer ring of entrance. Giglamesh would put his hood down and start walking around to the entrance. He could of just stood on the revolving escalator like floor that would bring him to the ront gate...but he was walking as fast if not faster then it was going. It was a fairly beautiful day sunny, slightly cool,but nice in the sunlight. Giglamesh would walk up to one of the gates, and once river would catch up, gig would give give a man there passe. The man looked them over stamped them and told them to enjoy there stay. Then gig would step threw a revolving turntable, here machines would scan them to make sure there were no hidden weapons, and as river would follow him. Inside the gate there was a bridge with fencing doming over it. Many people were standing around, and some stood on the moving walkway to make approaching the tower easier. As gig would walk closer to the tower, with river where ever she was it would become to realize how big the tower was.
Gig had been here before, but this was rivers first time. the loud noises of amusement parks rides below the bridge below there feet, in the amusement zone. Gig and riveer could look around to see the rides and such in the amusement park below them, and once they finished training if river wanted she could come back. As gig and river would walk towards the gold tower the sun would be blocked by the passing race dome over head. It was a extremely huge building that connected to the tower by nothing more then a bridge. This would also bring ones attention upwards to see the many other so called zones rotating around the tower slowly, all seemingly suspended by nothing more then a bridge, that connected them to the elevator towers. giglamesh had seen it so he had kept walking, but incase river had fallen behind or stopped to look in amazement. "come on....you havent seen the amazing art yet...." Giglamesh just kept walking his hands in his shorts pockets.
It was a decent walk but once they arrived in the gold tower, there were quite a bit of people inside. there were several different parts labeled very clearly with neon signs for the zone which they went to. It was a series of elevators split up to different parts, several elevators to each zone. Most were standing around or waiting. the domed gold like room with all the neon signs made the tower seem much much larger then it did outside, but infact it was very large. Giglamesh would look around a few times, then he would see what he was looking for. He would approach the Arcade zone elevator area, standing there were some other people waiting for the elevator and when it open a few got on as would gig, and he would wave for river to hurry and get on.
They elevator would then quickly head to the top of the top, it was actually a few minute elevator ride to the top of the tower where the arcade zone was located. "...I think youll enjoy the training i have planned for us...were going to be doing some scyncro training ....actually for the next few days we will be training very heavily this way. Pretty much the idea will be to move like the other...not mirror the others but...adapt appropriately to the other thought process...think like the other move like the other....it will appearing as mirroring, but infact were not mimicing the others movements but, moving together as one......im sure this dont sound fun yet but....youll see soon..." As gig said that the elevator door would open to a darker room, with alot of neonlights flashing colors, and strobe lights. The door was light up with bright flashign non lights that said. "welcome to the Arcade zone" in the distance from down the tunnel, one could easily hear the sound of digital sounds and video game noises.

ღWith a sigh, River placed her hand on her forehead. Hiver stayed away from Giglamesh, horrified by his clothing. Once outside River found herself distracted by all the sites. Seriously a stamp? How tacky… River thought staring at the stamp for a moment. She would've accepted a shiny bracelet. Oh well. She thought then followed Gig. That would be awesome if the training consisted of roller coasters . Or maybe bumper cars…. No… real cars… She thought as she tried to figure out what Giglamesh was planning. Bright colors everywhere, this place was designed to be a distraction. With each step River saw something she wanted to try, she also wondered if there was a shooting gallery. Echoes of screams from people enjoying the rides were also a distraction. Seeing all these beautiful things River did not want to leave, but she still followed Gig, curious to see what he had had planned. Trying to ignore the cool rides, River found herself staring in awe at the design of the park. The structure alone with something to marvel at. Although River was not an architect, she appreciated the talent. River also noticed people of all ages were walking around enjoying their time there. She wondered what time the place would close, and wondered how long this training session would take. Have not seen the amazing part yet? What are you up to brother… River thought suspiciously.
Unable to focus clearly as she walked, she bumped into a few of the visitors; but she did not care. River took note of all the different signs, meaning all the different things she could do later. She saw Gig wave her over, apparently impatient... So she jogged over taking a moment to observe the elevator. The elevator was also beautiful. She made a mental note to locate the name of the person who designed this park. She wondered what other beautiful things they had created. Just before getting on the elevator, River saw the sign for the arcade. She raised an eyebrow. Arcade? What is there some sort of VR training their or something? Or maybe I will get to actually have fun during training… for once. River thought for getting all the times she enjoyed training. Synchronization training? Next few days? So no rides? Well I guess it could be worse… I don't want to think like you… River thought with a wrinkled nose. But it does make sense… To a point... Also sounds annoying. By the gods this arcade is awesome! She thought breaking her other line of thought seeing the size of the arcade. Just how many games were in this place? She thought and tried to hide her excitement. After all she was 16, to mature to be excited over silly games… But she was. ღ

Giglamesh would walk out of the elevator and begin heading towards the tunnel the lead down to the arcade. He would glance at river to see the excited sparkle in her eyes, and he would just smile to himself, because soon she would become ecstatic once she knew what her training was. River probably would not notice it at first but, the elevator room was spinning as well as the tunnel/bridge that led to the also spinning arcade zone. The elevators were the only thing stationary, the rest slowly turned, the turning of the multiple zones is what kept the golden tower balanced because they were around. Regardless of whether she figured it out or not gig would continue down the tunnel. It had a moving walk wy going in, and one out with a large walk way in the middle for people that were not lazy. The digital noises of games increased dramatically as they got closer.Finally as they entered they saw the dark mid floor, dark yet light up by the neon lights of the electronic gaming machines. The arcade was not quite packed, but there were alot of people inside. A massive amount of arcade machines could be seen, ole retro ones to new games. There was a counter which gig went over real fast, gave his debit card, and had them relay that to a acrade card, meaning it would charge right to the card as he used it...preety smart actually.
Giglamesh would then signal river for him to follow, they would go up two floors, and on this floor it was quite a bit less crowded. It was full of the bigger arcade games, like driving sims, and thing like that. Giglamesh would look around and listen, when he heard it he would walk down a few rows of games and head straight for the target. When he finally got to it giglamesh would stand there arms out with a huge grin. "River my girl.....welcome to your scynro training." He was standing infront of DDR: Ultimate dance dance revolution extreme. Literally this ddr had some preset songs that had preset dances, but one could literally put in there own music and it would create steps according to the decibel and other music levels. This is where thy would spend alot of time for the rest of today.

ღRiver waited impatiently as the elevator traveled. When she got off the elevator she started to follow Gig, then noticed the tower was spinning. At first she thought she was seeing things, but... omg! the tower is actually spinning!. She thought excited loving this place more and more. She then noticed Giglamesh I gone ahead so she hurried after him. Hearing the music from the arcade were louder and she grew closer River had the feeling she could stay in that room all day. She watched Gig exchange for a game card that continue towards his destination. River found herself policy that each doorway looking in before the reaching the stairs. She wanted to check each floor but knowing Giglamesh he would not stop. Following still River recognize many of the tunes from certain games. When they finally reached the third floor she saw quiet a lot again she had played before. She was sure she had a few high scores still remaining at the arcade in Wutai. When Giglamesh stopped before the DDR machine River clasped her hands together happily she loved this game. ” I choose the first song!” she declared knowing her style of music was different than his, she also knew a few songs he might like. Not even waiting for him to accept or deny her demand River got on the machine and started going through the music for data. She should've brought her monkey MP3 player, but for now since she knew the game she knew some songs. Finally finding the song she adored, CLICK your glanced back hoping he didn't burst your bubble. ღ

"hold it!" Giglamesh would step forward and then from his pocket he would remove her monkey mp3 player holding it in his left. "Ok for next few days, as a part of the sync training, we are constantly going to listen to music....constantly, every moment, including asleep. Before you ask why, after a certain time subconsciously our brains will begin to relate movement to notes, so on the subconscious level we will will move the same as well will be listening to the same music. Yes the same music, i grabbed your mp3 before we left and removed some of the lighter songs off, and with mine i have removed some of the heavier songs you dont like. We will have a single mp3 that play alternates from your randomized playlist, then alternates to mine and back to your repeating. I know you may not like the idea, but just sit tight with me on this one please. I think this mission might end up being very dangerous, so i would like to go in with a plan. Attacking with our chain weapons in sync is that plan....your thinking lame, but just stay with me. ...The main idea will be to essentially appear to mirror each other in combat, when actually we will be moving to the music notes. If its alot to take it just wait till tonight and youll see what i mean." Giglamesh gave her some head phones that wrap around her ears to secure them in place, and they had no wires, just the ears pieces. Then he would hold out the linked mp3 players, Gig would plug his in to the DDR machine, and it would play music from there mps , what they were currently listening to. Because she had changed the song, and it happened to be on her mp3 that was where the songs would start. It would wait for gig and river to stand on the table before it would start. Gig would stand at the platform on the right side of the machine, so river was at his left like normal, then he would slide the headphones on to his ears and turn the sound fairly low on his, but the machine would end up playing it loud regardless. Giglamesh would put his card in to the machine, and begin to stretch some, river probably would think so but she was about to need some light stretching. In the option giglamesh would not set it straight to hard, no babying just going all out from the begging. Gig would pick his char, and wait for river to pick her, which he would look over to her. "Ready?......lets do it.." Once she signaled she was ready it was time to start, and gig would start the game.

Gig had never played before but he kind of knew the premise for it, again he had just never done it. As it started gig quickly realised that he was not standing in the right place cause it was hard to get several of the first few steps. The buttons had to be pushed really fast and since he was not standing on right part, in the center, he was missing many. But finally he figured it out and started getting a few goods. As he got more used to it he began to get several greats, but that then lead to him getting ahead of himself and missing a few. He corrected it by slowing down a bit where he continued to get greats or a while. But once again he slowed down to much and, while he was still getting the button, he was just barely getting the. He was not the best but not the worst at this, it was his first time playing and he went straight to hard, so that was a big first step. Yet still he did not do as good as he wanted. He was trying to relate the music note/tone to the step like the computer did, but he did not quite have it down. He had plenty time more to get it down though, but...he did not like the first try.

ღHold it? Why hold it I wanna play… River thought as she took her monkey player back. You messed with my music? River thought at first upset then confused as she raised an eyebrow. They constantly listen to music anyway… I don't get it…. She thought. Her eyes started to glaze over, and she just wanted to play the game. Why headphones ? The game is gonna play the music… She wondered utterly confused. She put them on anyway and was glad her song choice stayed when gig club in his player. As always, River stretched only slightly before playing the DDR game glad it was on hard mode. She was good at this game. She stood ready listening to the demo of the song getting pumped she said, " I am so going to win." not quite understanding what Gig wanted.ღ {only two misses and only one perfect XD le darn}

Once he heard the opening to the song, instantly gig knew what it was and he liked this song, it was good combat music. But As he started to miss steps right off the bat he realized this was not the same as combat. On top of that it seemed alot faster then the first song. But giglamesh knowing the song well as he did, started to get the beat down to the keys. While gig was looking at the screeen he was trying to not focus souly on that, but more on the actually music to move to the music, but in the way the game would dictate. Gig would notice, by her movements river seemed just souly in to the game, gig would start to question if she was taking this seriously. Gig was doing fairly well, till the guitar solo the buttons were relentless and very fast on that point. Gig would keep up its just he had a hard time finding the sweet spot, he went to fast, or not fast enough for the pace. But he would get close enough and end the song fairly well. Gig could not help but wonder how river would react, wondering if again she would focus on her game score instead of the goal of the training. Gig wanted to tell her to focus ince it was training, but he knew how she was she would get a attitude and storm off. He was simply trying to indirectly help her to use soul thief which she has yet to use in a fight, yet is probably unknown to her as her strongest weapon. That is once she learns to use it.

ღRiver heard the next song load and frowned. She did not know the song, so she followed the arrows, but without knowing the beat… she was doomed from the start. Inwardly she grew dishearten with each miss that popped up. Never been one who accepted losing, River started to grow angry which caused more misses. In the back of her head, River wondered how the hell a training could be linked to a video game. When the beat of the song changed for the third time, River tried again to fall into the beat. She managed to hit one note perfectly and a few that were close, then once again she started getting a stream of misses. Inwardly crying, River knew this would hurt her total score. She also had a brief wonder of how many songs they were going to do. Once the song was over, River saw her final score and stretched again shaking her head. Gah I did not like that song… She thought (I nearly cried when River told me that.) as she stretched a bit more. She glanced at Gig wondering once more what his plan was. He was always so mysterious about this stuff. As if expecting she could read his mind. ”Looks like you won that round…” She said stretching still. She hoped the next song had more of a beat than just random. (River… why you disappoint me?) She saw the next song pop up and hoped she would do better. This was a song she adored. Plus it was somewhat slow, so she could gain back her rythem. CLICKღ
