Ball of Yarning*UNDERGROUND*  The Ball of Yarning is the lounge for Cats. Its name is a play on words (Yarning/Yearning), but it doesn't disappoint. Social Cats can take advantage of the place to get to know others, and they can mingle all night long if they so choose to.

Olivia walks into the lounge, on the prowl for entertainment. The place seems pretty empty but she doesn't care, after all she does own it. She reclines on a nearby couch and starts quietly singing," nya,nya,nya, so bored..." she then goes on to say. " I guess I'll sleep for a while, someone will wake me up eventually..." She drifts off into peaceful slumber which for her, is the only moment anything it peaceful.

A calm feeling washed over the lounge as a golden cat, Thalia, stepped in. She looked around to see if anyone was there, when she saw another Cat sleeping on a couch. She quietly walked over and gave the girl a nudge on the shoulder. "Ma'am, do you own this lounge? And if so, is it open?"

Upon being nudged Olivia opens one of her piercing red eyes and focuses it on the fellow cat who just walked in. A smile crept across her face as she said," Yes and yes. Well to tell the truth my parents own the place but I have run of it when they're busy."She closes they eye back and then curls up. then she uncurls and backflips off of the couch. " I was hoping someone would show up, things were getting a bit dull." she said. Olivia just then open both of her eyes, and focuses them on her new 'friend.'

Thalia gave a half-smile that could have been sadistic or completely harmless. She held out her hand to this new Cat, and said "My name is Thalia. I wouldn't mind getting to know you better. Especially since you are a fellow feline~"

She tilts her head and looks at her hand for a moment. For some reason the concept of a handshake doesn't seem to register but the name does. " I'm Olivia, I'd love to get to know you better." she said. It was then that the handshake registered and she quickly stretched out her arm and vigorously shook Thalia's hand.

Thalia gave Olivia a friendlier smile. "That's quite a beautiful name. So you say you run this lounge?" She stepped back to look around that the whole room.

"Own is a much better word. Once the place is set up, it pretty much runs itself." she said.She grabs Thaila's hand and pulls her down to the couch to sit with her. " I don't see the point in standing with many chairs around." she said," get comfortable, make yourself at home, I may have the deed, but this place is just as much everyone else's as it mine." The whole time she was talking, she didn't let Thalia's hand escape from her rather delicate grip.

Thalia sat down and fixed her skirt. She smiled at the generosity and kindness of this Cat. She really loved the atmosphere in the lounge, and found herself relaxing quite easily. "I love how this place looks...... How long did it take for your family to build? And forgive me for being ignorant at times. It's been a while since I was in the Underground."

" It took longer to decorate than to build my mom says. This place has been her for about a year or two though." she said in between giggles. " Ignorance? What ignorance? I sees no ignorance? What does that word even mean?" she says tilting her head yet again. She thinks for a moment and then the word's meaning strikes. " Oh you're not stupid at all! Why would you think that?" she asks, genuinely confused.

Thalia looked at Olivia with slight confusion and worry in her eyes. Her mind seems to be a little bit on the fritz... "Oh, I just prefer to say the right thing the first time. But I really love this lounge. It's much better than that stinking hole of a drive bar the Mice have." Insanity briefly struck her mind. She gritted her teeth and smiled creepily a little bit before relaxingagain. She loved to kill Mice.

It didn't more than a second for Olivia to catch Thalia's reaction. " You really hate mice don't you?" she said somewhat concerned. She giggles again and says," I couldn't imagine why, they make like, the best playmates..." She smiles brightly at the thought of torturing a mouse, which was her most common form of 'playing'.

Talia licked her lips at the though of mouse blood, and her stomach growled. "Hey, you don't happen to have any rat's blood drinks here, do you? All this talk of Mice is making me hungry."

" I really wish I did... Hey how about we go see if we can find some mice? Blood is always better fresh," she hissed. Olivia seemed to get excited at the thought of mice. She stands and looks back to Talia," So, you wanna join me for some fun Talia?" Her the smile that crosses her face seems almost doll like, as if she's no longer there.

"Why, absolutely! I'll meet you out at the park." Thalia crouched down and a dark light gleamed over her. She growled and when she was once again visible, she was a regular golden cat.
