Started out on a sour note. The CMC are shocked because Cheerilee isn't seeing anyone? Didn't know women needed to be dating someone, regardless of how great they are or aren't, in order to be considered normal.
Also, did they change Sweetie Belle's voice? I detect hints of treachery and sadness.

I detect hints of treachery and sadness. They didn't believe that she needed to be dating to be normal, they thought it would make her happy, which is a relatively normal assumption for young girls.

And honestly it didn't seem too terribly out of place to me, Scootaloo's reactions that is.
