 Welcome, to Sabaody Archipelago! This is the first step before any pirate crew continues to Fishmen Island, deep under the sea. On this island, there are many excitements, as well as dangers. Every pirates quest upon reaching this island is to find someone who is able to coat their ship with a protective bubble that allows them to journey to Fishmen Island. The coat protects the ship from imploding due to change in water pressure.
The goal of any pirate is up to them, but since Gol D. Rogers execution many years ago, the Great Pirate Era has many pirates traveling far and wide to obtain One Piece, the ultimate treasure. Beware of the Marines, as well as bounty hunters on your journey. Be sure to have your name echo throughout the whole world as you journey! May luck be with you, pirates!

Rules:
1. NO GOD-MOD! That's the most important one. God-mod, and I'll ban you.
2. Cursing is allowed (obviously), but not excessive use.
3. Violence is also allowed, but nothing that is too gorey. (keep it below R rating)
4. Romance is allowed as well, but again, nothing too over the top.
5. Filler posts will help greatly with the story, as it may take a little time for me to come up with ideas. But, I don't want to have only filler posts. If you'd like to contribute a little to the story, ideas are always welcome. YOU MUST PM ME, THOUGH! DON'T POST THEM IN HERE!
6. Characters from One Piece may appear on occasion, but I will try to avoid doing that. I'd like this to be all our ideas.
7. You may have a Devil Fruit Power, but you may NOT have the same power as someone in the anime. If you need to know what's been taken, send me a PM, and I'll let you know.

Pirate Name: Ami Yoboshi
Age: 18
Gender: Female
DF Powers: Neko Neko no Mi Model: Domestic Cat; this gives Ami enhanced speed, balance, and acrobatics. She also always lands on her feet, no matter how far she falls. Unfortunately, she also sleeps like a cat, but she has cat like reflexes, which can sometimes bother her crew.
Affiliated Crew and Position: Blind Pirates (Captain)
Bio: Ami Yoboshi is a young pirate captain who has finally reached the Sabaody Archipelago with her crew. She had eaten the Neko Neko no Mi when she was young, and it gave her the model of the domestic cat. The powers she has is enhanced speed, incredible balance, acrobatic skills, and she always lands on her feet, no matter how far the distance is. She does not remember what island she originally came from, but she grew up on a small island on East Blue near Lougetown. She wants very strongly to become the King of Pirates, even though she is a woman. Due to her blindness, she has enhanced senses of smell and hearing. She also possesses the ability to hear the "voice of all things". Ami believes that her blindness was caused from the island she was born on, but she doesn't remember anything before she arrived on the island near Lougetown. Her foster father was a great user of Haki, and taught Ami a little bit of Haki as well. She has difficulty using Haoshoku Haki, or the intimidation Haki, as she is unable to lock eyes with the target. She has mastered Busoshoku Haki, the armor Haki, and Kenbushoku Haki, or the sensing Haki.
Weapon of Choice: A katana and claws when in her half-human, half-cat form.
Other: While Ami can transform into a domestic cat, she chooses not to unless she is going to spy on someone.

Gender: Male
DF Powers: Gokan Fruit. the fruit gives him enhanced senses. He have powerful eyesight and sense of smell, he have a good sense of hearing, his tongue is more sensitive to tastes, though. But, for touch, he can withstand extreme heats and cold which allows him to work with hot metal easily.
Affiliated Crew and Position: Not part of a crew (yet)- Sniper/Mechanic
Bio: When Fettel was a young kind he received his first gun from his father, a great gun smith. He had always though of his father as a hero, in reality he was a ruthless pirate. The last time his father came back to the village his mother and him live in, he brought along the Devils Fruit. It was gifted to him, for his father wanted his own son to out gun him, to be stronger. While Fettel was trying to be like his father, he was also becoming a mechanic, loving to work with machines and metal. As he was entering his teens he heard news that his father was caught and killed by the Marines. Having anger for the Marines, he left his village and soon became a pirate, making a name for himself and later became rather famous. Over the years he became a better marks man, with some help he made his very own gun crafted with his mechanical intelligence. Though not everything was so grand, he didn't like the life that he now had. Killing marine for the Captain was not what he wanted to do, he wanted to find the man who killed his father and slaughter him with his own hands. The current captain had different plans though, he was actually scared of Fettel, his skills outmatched his own and he did not want any crew to take his place. That is where he came up with a great plan, to visit Sabaody Archipelago and leave Fettel behind. It is now several years later, the plan was a success and Fettel can be found working with the amusement rides.
Weapon of Choice: Fettel uses his hand crafted sniper, with a long barrel and a golden grip making the gun very valuable. It is one of the first that uses a spring loading chamber, allowing him to put in multiple bullets at a time without reloading after every time he fires. Along with the gun he carries with him three types of ammunition at all times. Normal pin headed bullets (shaped like today's bullets), Explosive rounds and Poisonous rounds that paralysis the enemy for easy capture.

Bio: Aaron was an apprentice chef to one of the greatest, yet least known chefs in the world. He learned the best from that man, and he intends to join a pirate crew to become a widely known cook fighter. He had heard rumors about the Straw Hat's "Black Leg Sanji" and hopes to one day fight him in a cook off. His knives were given to him by the man who was his mentor, and they are his most important treasure. He also loves to tease others, whether they're male or female. Aaron also hopes that he can find All-Blue, and catch as many fish as possible there for the crew he joins. He comes to Sabaody Archipelago aboard a Marine ship, hoping to find a strong captain to join with. He is fiercely loyal to his comrades, and he would never sell them out, even if it cost him his life. Since he is not yet a pirate, he always asks the Marines to take him places, but he never does anything for them, as he cannot stand Marines. He loves to drink rum and sake, and is never without his flask or a bottle or rum.
Weapon of Choice: Dual butcher knives or his feet. He always wears protective gloves when using his knives.
Other: He comes to Sabaody Archipelago from an island in South Blue.

Bio: Born aboard a sailing vessel, Kaito never really had a home to call his own, rather he and his parents were constantly sailing throughout his childhood. Kaito's upbringing allowed him to learn many different styles of combat as well as many tricks to sailing. When Kaito was 18, the ship he and his family was on was attacked by a pirate vessel. During the attack, he and his mother became separated from his father, who was captured by the pirates. After managing to escape the ship on a lifeboat with a few other members of the crew, they made their way to the Sabaody Archipelago and began a life anew there. Only recently has he heard word that his father may still be alive and that decides to go find him so that his family will be reunited.
Weapon of Choice: Katana, though he can use pretty much any weapon he can get his hands on
Other: He has a particular distrust of pirates, but knows that they may be the key to finding his father.

Bio: Sai grew up on a small island and left it when she was young with a few of her fellow islanders. Log of Visited Islands
This is a log recording the islands the crews have visited. We are currently on: Sabaody Archipelago
Sabaody Archipelago
Sabaody Archipelago is the halfway mark of the Grand Line. It is right before the crews will enter the Red Line, otherwise known as the New World. There are only two known ways to get there, the first being to go through Marine HQ. Seeing as that will be impossible for pirates, they have only one option, to go down into the sea into Fishman Island, where merpeople and fishpeople live.
Sabaody Archipelago itself is a massive island made up of trees and smaller islands called Yarukiman Mangroves. Each one is numbered, from 1 to79. Depending on which grove you are on tells which section you are in. They are broken up as followed:
1-29: A lawless area where pirates and bounty hunters run amok;
30-39: Sabaody Park, an amusement park with bubble based attractions;
40-49: a tourist area, filled with many shops and souvenier stands;
50-59: a shipping area;
60-69: Local headquarters for the Marines; and
70-79: a hotel town.
The island also has many bubbles floating around, which are used to help with transportation, carrying things, and it can also be put around someone's head to allow them to have air underwater. A full body bubble can prevent water from affecting a Devil Fruit user, and lets them use their powers underwater.
The amusement park has many attractions such as roller coasters, Ferris wheels, bumper cars, teacups, and many other rides that are all used by the bubble created by the island. There are also many different food stands all through the park.
Though many pirates try to avoid the lawless area, the most commonly known coater lives on Grove 13. Pirates must be able to avoid or defeat the bounty hunters roaming on the groves.
The last danger on the island are the World Nobles. These people are considered the children of the creators of the world, and therefore, will not be shown any disrespect. They are more than willing to kill anyone who does not bow to them as they walk by, and will make any person they want into a slave. They always wear white robes and a bubble around their heads, saying that they will otherwise breathe in "dirty air". It is considered a grave crime to strike a World Noble. Pirates try to avoid these people as much as possible.

(Well, let's get this RP started! Anchors aweigh!) Ami walks along the streets of Sabaody Archipelago, in the lawless area. She held her walking stick in her hand, pretending to use it as though she really needed it, even though she didn't. She moved her head from left to right, trying to sense if anyone were anywhere near her. Ami knew this would be a great island for finding new crewmates, as she had heard that captains wind up being kidnapped and sold to rish people as slaves. Let's just hope I find some useful nakama here... she thinks to herself.

Fettel let out a long yawn as he headed back to his shed where he always enjoyed some alone time on his breaks. He never had a problem talking to other people, he just had the problem of people distracting him while he liked to work on his own things in his free time. He was coming back from helping with one of the rides. "People don't seem to care about anything nowadays" He grumbled, reaching up and scratching the back of his head. He wondered when he would get out of this place that he got abandoned on.

Ami looked to her right, towards the large tree that was the main spot of every grove, listening carefully. She heard a voice, and judging from the softness of the voice, she could tell they were pretty far away. Still, any person she heard, she would find. She may be able to find people, but she can't see the numbers written on the trees, so she did not know what grove she stood on. She began to walk in the direction she heard the voice from. "From the sound of it, it sounded like a man's voice... Let's hope he can give good directions..." she mutters to herself.

Aaron walks through the amusement park on Sabaody Archipelago, hoping to find a food stand that strikes his interest. Though he was a great cook, he loves to taste other foods and try to discover the secrets of their recipes. He has always had a sensitive tongue that was able to allow him to taste what exactly was in the food he ate. Aaron stops as he stands in front of a cotton candy stand. "mmm.. Why not. Couldn't hurt." he says, as he pulls out some money, and buys a cotton candy to try.

Fettel couldn't wait to get back to his place to finish one of his little machines. When he took a look around he saw something odd, a woman who was blind without some kind of escort. "Hey!" He yelled, his arm raising to wave but realized that would be useless. He quickly ran over to her. "Are you lost? You know it's not smart to come here without some escort or friends"

Ami turns her head to the man's direction, but doesn't lift her head to look at him. "I have no companions anymore. They all left once I told them I was going to head into the Red Line. They all think I'm crazy." she says, sighing a little. "Besides, I'm prefectly capable of fending for myself." she adds, turning her head to the left. She keeps silent for a moment, then looks back at the man. "Are there usually bounty hunters here? I can hear some."

"Ah, you're traveling to the Red Line, It must be quite the journey then" He small part of him always wanted to go there himself, something every pirate wishes to do but most rarely do or make it. "Bounty Hunters?" He quotes her looking in the direction she is. "Yeah they are known for coming here so I wouldn't be surprised if you can hear some. Oh right, you can't see the number on the tree can you? Well if you want to know it has a nine on it."

"What?! Dammit! I passed grove 13!" she shouts, stamping her foot. "This is what stinks about being blind! Gotta keep walking these groves until I find someone to tell me the number. I walked all the way here from grove 16, and you're the only person I crossed paths with." She then closes her pale white eyes, putting two fingers on her head, and massaging it a little.

"Ha, you seem to be in quite the situation" He lets out a small laugh as she explained that she passed the area she wanted to go. "Well if you want I can take you there myself, I'm free for the rest of the day and I know this place rather well" As she mentioned to the guy whom was also lost, he takes a look behind him "Aw geez, another person lost?" He scratches the back of his head then waves it high in the air for the man to see. "Hey! Over here!"

Ami quickly reaches up and covers the man's mouth, hissing, "Hey! What if that guy's a marine?! I'm a pirate you know! Not as famous as Kid or Straw Hat, but I'm still pretty famous." She then sniffs the air a little. "Though, he doesn't smell like a Marine, I can't be too careful..."
