Many people believe that second chances are just talk, that there's no such thing and that even if you give someone a second chance they'll simply go back to the way they were. Ӈowever there is one place that is made on second chances. About five years ago there was a gang known for their trained assassins, genius hackers, and less then human memebers. They were controlled by a certain king of the corrupted city that only wanted power and to watch the world burn. He didn't care who it was or what he did. He made packs with black magic users and scientist he had a small army at his disposal of nothing but the best. He was nearly invicible.

Ʉntil, his right hand and a group of others who had grown tired of this life joined together. Plotting in the shadows. However their plans seemed impossible. That is until one faitful night. The lord had had a werewolf -pet- that he used to pleasure himself. However the werewolf's lover came to rescue him, but it was hopeless. With no way to free his lover the vampire took his place. He suffered greatly and was starved for days. Until finally he attacked the king. Getting angry and wounding the vampire even more. A true plan was concocted, one that would work.

The right hand made a deal with the werewolf and told him of the threat the king had made. To torture him to get at his lover. Aru (the wolf) decided to go along with it. The small army was destroyed and the king killed by his pet. No one would accept these killers, they couldn't remain in this tainted city.

They looked for a second ȼђɐɳcə

ϐlack Rose Coffee opened in a city on the other side of the country. It's a rather small shop with a set of housing above it where the staff lives. The group who runs it are eight young men. All look around their twenties and all extremely good looking. They are odd and many have strange qualities about them. However this city accepts the strange and odd so no one truly asks anything of them. The coffee shop is quite popular among the small neighborhood it opened in and many of the regulars have come to call the workers Coffee Boys. With their fresh baked treats, amazing beverages, and more then slightly interesting workers the shop is built on a second chance.

In the housing area above the shop there were small apartment like rooms for everyone all surrounding a large sitting room. Off to the right of the sitting room was a plain white door with a large wooden J on it. This room of course was Jun's room. However he wasn't asleep even as early as it was in the morning. No the door was open this morning and sitting in the door with his feet against one side of the door frame and his back against the other was the young form of Jun.

He looked a young sixteen at oldest. He stood at five foot five exactly, and was rather thin. He looked like he could easily be broken in half, but of course the workers of this cafe knew better. Jun had looked like this since he worked for the tainted king. He had always looked like this and would never change. Jun didn't know much about the world as he'd fogotten everything. It had been the stories of the outside world that the other's had spoken of and the idea of not having to live as a dog for the rest of his life that had brought him here.

Like everyday Jun noticed Guang Xi's door was already open and he could smell the sweets baking from downstairs. He stood and quietly almost cautiously walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. There was the tall oriental man standing by the window apparently engulfed in his own thoughts. Jun crossed his arms over his chest and looked around curiously and warrily. He didn't want to bother the man but he didn't want to startle him either. So he opened his mouth to say something only to close it and look at the oven.

The feel of the soft caresses of Caine's lips made Aru think he was still dreaming. He shifted in response to allow for Caine's "breakfast" but was stilled when that dark voice whispered of sunrise. Aru let a small and childish whimper escape his throat. While waking up to his Caine was always a blessing, the vampire did not make it easy to find the motivation to get up and moving.

His eyelids fluttered and revealed the bright green orbs beneath. Aru looked up into Caine's eyes and smiled, reaching a hand up to caress the vampire's cheek. "Morning..." he whispered and punctuated the greeting with a kiss. After a few moments of enjoying the scenery as it were, he knew he had to get ready. Aru reluctantly dragged himself out of bed and over to the dresser to find some clean clothes.

Aru ran a hand through his bedraggled short blond hair. It wasn't until then that he noticed that is must be after 7 o'clock in the morning. Not for the first time, Aru cursed his bad luck to be the only werewolf alive who not only couldn't transform into the shape most of his kind was known for, but in fact turned into a woman for twelve hours a day. It was what had gotten him into that whole mess with the twisted "King". As he brushed out his hair in front of the mirror, he eyed the faint scar around his neck where the silver collar had been those years ago. While not as flashy as Caine's scars, they were no less painful.

But that was in the past, and Caine was here and well, even though the sun would soon put the undead creature to sleep. Aru slid on a button up shirt and leaned up against the dresser in his dark slacks. He buttoned the shirt casually, but spoke to Caine in a slightly teasing tone. "So... Do we have time for coffee or should I just cut my losses?" Aru smirked at Caine through his bangs as he finished with the buttons.

Guang Xi was once again surprised. He just barely was able to catch the soft sound of the young man's feet and only because Jun had a tendency to slide them when he was moving back. He smiled kindly and turned to the odd colored boy. "Good morning Jun." He motioned to the table that was set up and to the strawberry cake slice that was on a plate along with a tall glass of iced tea. It was normal for Jun to come down and keep Guang Xi company until the others woke up. Then he'd only stay around for a little bit, it wasn't often that the young owner would go into the shop when it was busy only when there were very few customers did he seem comfortable enough to go in.

Guang Xi was rather fond of the young looking male though. After all he was always glad for company and even from the slightly nervous male it was always a good conversation. He found it easy to sit peacefully with Jun and talk to him with light conversation. It was never too serious, but then again the poor boy didn't remeber much about the world that was outside of the criminal ring. He was learning slowly, Guang Xi helped him learn writing most of the time. Though he was glad to help him with his reading as well. Not many people would know that Jun was illiterate. Though most of the workers were aware.

Guang Xi left music to Caine. The old vampire was awake at night, so the boys normally left Jun to him at that time. From what the chinese man could tell the two of them seemed to get along well. Though Caine was more rash and overpowering at times. Though Guang Xi knew Aru could keep him in check. Normally.

This is just my way of unleashing the feelings deep inside of ME.

Caine Christopher Mordren

XXXXXXXXXXAru took his hand in a firm grip that pulled a smile from Caine. Some part of his brain was fighting with him about leaving the bedroom. However, as proven by the gurgling; Aru needed food. Unlike Caine he couldn't survive off of being close to people. Caine pretty much had his -food- right there whenever he needed it. It was as simple as being around someone. He didn't need to cook or leave.

That reminded him, for the longest time he didn't even have a job. Why would he need one? He was the lord of an entire vampire clan. Wasn't that work enough? That and the fact was being pure blood like that just made people pretty much worship you and do what ever you wanted of them. This stirred some unpleasant memories which were quickly washed away as soon as he felt the light tug on his arm. A sign to follow Aru down to the kitchen.

Walking along with his blond beauty he was instantly brought back into high spirits. He released the hand only to let Aru work on his coffee. Meanwhile he turned to Jun and Guang Xi, bowing to them lightly and wishing them a good morning. Then he returned his attention to Aru. Who was standing next to a patch of sunlight. Caine pouted at that a bit but then got a fun idea.

Walking to the opposite side of his lover then the sun, he wrapped an arm around Aru's waist so the sun hit it and then after it steamed a bit he slid it up Aru's shirt to rest on his abdomen. Hiding his skin under the fabric of the shirt and leaning close to his ear. "Hmm, it can't be helped with the sun there." He smirked with the end and ran his fingers over Aru's skin lightly.
