Whimsical Newsletter
As a means to keep everyone unified and on the same page with room progress, I'm going to set up a Whimsical Newsletter through Pm with the room updates. Members are automatically signed up for the Letter so that progress can be tracked and followed! This letter will be sent out as often as needed, but hopefully will eveuntually be down to once a week. All Newsletters will be archieved here just in case you need to refer back to one~

Feb. 5th The 1st Ever Whimsical Newsletter!
Hallo everyone! First things first I'm glad we are finally pulling out of this innactivity rut! Now it's time to kick it into high gear and do some catch up work~
Announcements~
-We officially have our new 2nd host// I know but I just had to make sure everyone was aware^^'.
-We are also officially now accepting applications once more for
Cohost AND Room members! We need to bump up our member count and hopefully get some fresh faces in here to help with the many aspects of the room. Know Someone you think would be suitable for the job? Recruit them over! Any activity is good activity and we need a bit more of it~
Plot Work~
-The Room theme has been voted and finalized by a 75% vote for the Musical Garden theme along with the Gold instrument scavenger hunt! Now it's time for the nitty gritty plot work !
-I'm hoping to scheduale a member meeting for either Tuesday the 7th or Wednesday the 8th! Considering the over all Ball theme is that the dream world is dying, we must find a way to finalize out theme while incorperating the main theme. My idea so far was that due to the lack of energy, the life force with in the plant life is slowly dying and crumbling down. The roots that hold the land in place are loosing their hold and the world is thus inturn literally falling apart leaving the garden in the near center of the realm as the only true safe haven left. Holding the ball would be in an attempt to somehow save the relm and restore the realm to it's original beauty. The garden will seem a bit crowded considering the animal life is all pushing farther and farther inward, but there will still be plenty of room to explore considering the actually process of falling apart is slow, but you will start to find colorless and lifeless plant life the farther you trevel from the main garden.
This idea is not set in stone and I am happy to hear other ideas, this is just one take on it!~
Graphics and Room Decor~
-We are in need of some artistically inclined members to possible step up and aide with beautifying our room. Good with photoshop? Maybe you can draw really well? Please Pm me ASAP if you think your talent can help us out.^^

Hey guys, just thought I'd let you all know that the room meeting is Sunday February 12, at 7pm Eastern Time! I'd like to say this meeting is basically manditory. We have a lot to discuss and it would be best if everyone could be there. The room meetings will be weekly on Sundays at the same time unless announced otherwise. Meetings in the future won't always be manditory but it would be nice if everyone could try and show up as much as possible.
On a side note, our new room mule, Whimsical Room, now has a trading pass. Anyone looking to donate to the room should send the trade over to our room mule.

Feb. 14 Hello everyone! Sorry this is a bit later then I expected to get this message out! Sorry about the delay~
We have our new 2nd Host! Redpandlvr99 will be stepping up as second in command of the room! Congratulate her if you get the chance, or not we won't be mad ;3

Alright! So last sunday we had out very first room meeting! Even with the smaller turn out we got quite a bit done. If you haven't read the update in the summary thread, the plot has been finalized and furthered and we are officially ready to start on the room characters! This Thread has already been set up for just that. Just follow the skeleton and start filling out yours as you think of things. We still have some time so no need to stress. A few characters have already been talked about at the meeting, so if you see one you like from the idea list, feel free to shoot me a pm try for it!
added to the plot -
Bringing in the guests was planned so that more people could aid the relm in their search for survival. To unlock the key of how to save the realm, first all the golden insturments must be found and once the are in the posession of the search party, a golden key becomes available within the realm. Finding this key will give the posessor the power to restore the realm to it's full potential, but also control of the realms magic life force. With this in pocession of someone who means the realm well, it will no longer fall to the Gaian's dreams to keep the realm alive, but the holder of the key. The search party is led by the realm's Queen and some of her most loyal friends, servants and subjects. She will take all the help she can get and hopes guests may increase their numbers and their chances of survival. The realm is dying at a drastic rate, they only have a few days before the not even the key can save them. Secretly, the jealous duke wishes to take revenge on the queen for an unreturned love by stealing the key and using it to drain the realm of it's life and taking the power for himself.

Feb. 18 Just a Few Reminders~- We will be having another room meeting this Sunday at 7pm Eastern Time! Character development and such, everyone should attend this if possible^^ We will be presenting the first draft for our room plot and we'd like to get everyone's characters so we can all fit~
- Some of you have yet to start your character skeletons in our Character Building Thread We just need everyone to get one started, but don't worry we have plenty of time to fill in the details.
- We also need to start discussing some room fundraisers and donations. Those avis are starting to look pretty pricey so we should try and cover as much as we can on our own! Our room mule is Whimsical Room, so if you have any spare gold we'de appreciate it ;3 We will be using the funds from the main ball for our room art~
- Everyone we should start getting a list of expensive items that we own together in the Room Lending Thread so we know what we have, what we need, and what we need to work on. Since these items won't be sent until right before the ball, don't worry about having to give something out for months.^^ ~Your host, Kaneira

March 15thHiding spots have been decided!
At our meeting last night, we decided all ten instrument spots and the hiding spot for the key! Here's the list:
1. Burried under the gate
2. In the mouth of a cymbal flower based on the venus fly trap
3. In the upper branches of a tall tree
4. In a fountain in the middle of the lake with lilypads based on drums
5. At the bottom of a bowl-like flower thingy
6. In a floating lantern [in the back of the spiritual area]
7. A hole in a tree
8. Flute in a snake hole
9. Small cave
10. Secret compartment in a statue guarding the spiritual area
And the key will be in an old (dead) dragons castle
We also decided to have these in the area:
1. Spiritual area where people can pay respect to the fallen
((keeping haunts and such to a minimum))
2. Floating lanterns
We also discused possible artists and such so if you have ideas, let me know^^
We are officially moving the wednesday meeting time to 7:30 pm Eastern Time! issues for several members for making 7 so we will push it back to help a bit^^ ~Kaneira the Great

April 8th Happy Bunny Day!Hello everyone, I hope everyone's Grunny Baby hunting is going well. It's been a while since we've had a formal newsletter so I figured we could have a big catch up letter.
First. Plot - By what I'm seeing, the difficult plot work is all behind us! Everyone seems to be in a general agreement on the plot we've come up with here. There are a couple drafts written and I'm thinking we may need just one more, but it is in general what is agreed upon. We have our day to day plan set up and ready to go. We need to work a bit on our personal day to day scheduale, but we have time. We have hiding spots and instruments all asigned next is the fun part of writing the riddles~
Second. Art - I have taken over on the headshots for the front page and beginning Sketches have been posted of a couple characters. We will still need a full cast picture and full bodies may come in handy, however I'm not sure those would be considered mandatory quite yet.
Third. Graphics - Everyone please give a HUGE thanks to Zoieamandasaxon. She has taken up the task of building us all our Character Post Layouts. She is putting quotes into the designs and is doing her best to pull one out of the profile skeletons. It would be extremely helpful for you guys to all shoot her a Pm and give her a quote or let her know if you'd like her to try and come up with one for you.
As far as room graphics go, I have found us a setting. For the castle garden, we are using Dunrobin Castle. For the interior we are using Hearst Castle. I've created some graphics to use for the room. They are in the same thread as the sketches linked before.
Fourth. Meeting - Since we have been having some rather major issues lately with our old room, I've created us a Chatango Room which other rooms have had success with so here is our new Room Link! ~Kaneira the Great

May 30th Mini-Bios! - Hey everyone, time to write our mini-character bios for out front page of the room! Please write in 3rd person (he/she)~ Don't reveal any plot you bad guys, keep it on the down low >D
Practice Thread! - Time to try and take a walk in those pretty shoes. Just to work out any minor kinks and help getting the personality of everyone mapped out, lets try out a mini-rp. The first post(s) have been made so feel free to jump in! The queen has invited everyone to the castle to make an announcement. She won't force anyone to show, but when you get invited to a meeting with the queen, skipping is not a good idea ;3
Bad Guys! - Don't forget to meet in the evil-doers thread and be a part of the planning~
Character Layouts! - For you newbies out there, we need to start getting the nose to the grind stone and help get you caught up! The first steps would be to work on a profile skeleton & post it here. Then you will need to work out the tektek and keep us posted here. Lastly, you will need to contact Zoiesamandasaxon about setting up you character posting formats. Don't worry about making a huge rush on this and don't hesitate to jump into the practice rp even if you aren't quite up to speed~ It's casual after all. ~Kaneira the Great
