You have missed a lot! Everyone in Canada moved to Australia! They were all looking for you, but you were nowhere to be found.

If I were from Canada I'd move to Australia in a heartbeat. Screw the snow!

Winnipeg sounds like my hometown: not much to do unless you know the locals.
Random semi-related thought: I want to go to the "frigid northlands" (Canada? Alaska?) one day just to see the Aurora Borealis for myself... and maybe some glaciers.
And yet, I hate the cold; winter is my least favorite season, and I live in Florida. I'd move to Australia long before Canada.

I have several friends in and around Regina Saskatchewan
which is not all that different.
i asked one girl how she tolerated the long dark winter nights and she said "I think of the darkness as a comforting quilt surrounding me". what an amazing attitude, something of which i would not be capable.
but they kayak all over the place, going all the way up to the Arctic Circle.
which is the kind of thing which does appeal to me.
Say, didn't the Thrashers or some weak NHL team move up to Winnipeg?

Say, didn't the Thrashers or some weak NHL team move up to Winnipeg? Yup, Winnipeg bought em. They're the Jets now and Winnipeg has gone completely ballistic with enthusiasm about it. The suck balls but no one cares because at least we have a team again. In terms of winter nights... it doesn't really feel that different. You have to get pretty far north before it makes any real difference in your life at all.

I had to read the title three times. First two times I read, "I haven't pooped in a while"

She didn't want to bring it up, but that is also true.
She keeps me updated.
