This is going to be where I will post a link to our thread in Barton Town. But first I wanted to get some input on what genre of rp people would be interested in. Feel free to leave comments and suggestions for subgenres also! Personally, I'm feeling Steampunky or Urban Fantasy but I know that both of those are kind of niche things. Let's get some input! I feel like we should go for something with broad appeal, like a generic fantasy or tavern type place. Steampunk would be cool, maybe we could do cross-genre to attract more people?

I think fantasy will get the most attention, but not anything with a specific plot, of course. Maybe we should combine steampunk and urban fantasy, and have a fantasy roleplay where the setting is a steampunk city.
With gladiators.
Because why the ******** not. I bet lots of people will be attracted to a fight scene.
EDIT: Magical mafia in a steampunk city running an illegal fight club. THIS IS WHY I SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED ONLINE IN THE MORNINGS.

Personally, that is an rp I'd be all over like a hobo on a ham sandwich (unless he was vegetarian). I still have a steampunk character who I desperately want to play somewheres. I feel like it would be better in here though than for a large freeform rp who's goal was to draw in newbies and have some relaxing fun with oldies.

I think it's a great idea, but I'm still worried that its a little too genre specific for what we're looking for. Nonetheless... I still want to do it in here for sure.
