The Family   The free spirited Mother. She's a bit quirky and honestly believes that she can talk to spirits. A neutral aligned mare, she'd rather not deal with humans if she can help it, but she harbors no ill will toward the two-legged creatures. Quite naive and often times falling on bad luck, she can be a pit pessimistic at some points. Savage, however, keeps the upbeat to her life. The confident and casual Father. He can be a bit stern and yet compassionate all at the same time. A neutral aligned stallion that worked with humans before during his time in a gypsy circus. He can live with or without them really and wouldn't care to take a stance in the wars. Quite cunning and very optimistic, his realist views are what keep him and Aquaria glued at the hip apparently.   Foal 1 and 2. The one one the left (<---) is the eldest of the trio. Raffle Foal. RP Contest!January 22, 2012 - January 31, 2012This is a basic personality contest. How is this foal going to be like? Will the father's personality traits ring true or will the mother's quirky ideals slink in? Or will the personality take another swing all together? Since gender is unknown, you are allowed to make the foal either a he or a she for your prompt. But understand once the gender is called, you have to go with it. This can be as long as you want it to be, but I would like a minimum of two paragraphs (5 - 7 sentences, each paragraph). You can edit as many times as you want before the end of the contest which will end at 10 PM on Jan 31.

What am I like?:
The foal danced around its mother on wobbly legs. It was still young, and it's siblings seemed to have figured out this whole standing and walking thing faster. But that was okay, because his mother seemed to be giving more attention to him because of it, so everything was good. He nipped at his mothers tail, then jumped back when she turned her head to look at him. He saw his father on the far side of the meadow watching him, and wondered if he was going to scold him for bothering his mother. He knew their father loved them, but he could be stern with them at times as well. He made a promise to himself not to be like his father in that. When he had sons and daughters, he would be a fun father, and play with his children.
Just then, his mother bit his tail, and he jumped in surprise. He turned, and saw her smiling at him. He knew she meant him no harm, but he took the opportunity to draw her into his game. He forgot about his father and focused on what to do next to get his mother to continue playing with him. She's been trying to ween him and his siblings for a few days now, so he nonchalantly pranced over to her, and rubbed against her side. As he neared her back legs, he dipped his head down and ducked under her belly. It didn't take him long to latch onto one of her teets with his teeth. His mother gave a loud whinny and turned her head to bite at his flank. He felt her body move, and shifted his rear out of the way of her teeth with inches to spare. He sucked a couple of times, getting some milk, then let go and moved quickly away from her. The look on her face told him he'd chosen a bad choice of game, and he lowered his head in shame. Walking over to his mother, with his head held low, he offered her his hind quarters, and she gently bit him on the rear in punishment for what he had done. As soon as she did however, she immediately hung her head over his, embracing him under her chin. He knew at that moment that he was forgiven.

What am I like?:
The morning air was crisp and cool, perfect for just letting loose and running. The sun was just staring to hit the horizon and give off its warm, making this the perfect scene. The filly pranced happily beside her mother as they made their way towards the fields. They had spent the night in the trees for cover. Beside her mother as well, playing amongst themselves, where her siblings. They seem the more practical type, as they did not pay much attention to their middle sibling.
Just as they reached the fields the filly had become delighted. Though they had not been walking long, she wanted ever so much to run like her parents. They seem to have lightening speed and looked so graceful as they did so. With this in mind the filly had became over excited. She quickly took off in a part and headed for fields at first a slow canter, which in turn became a gallop, moving to a speed a bit faster than that. Nothing like her parents could achieve obviously. She looked back at her mother who stood with her siblings at the base of the field. “Look mother, I can run fast too!” Just as she said that the filly seemed to trip over her own four hooves which tangled with the blanket, and tumbled down into the earth. The poor girl, she ended up in a ball and rolled for a bit , till she came to a stop flat on her bottom her two front hooves on the ground. It had seemed to confuse her for a moment, as she stood there shaking her head. The filly wrinkled her nose up and snorted. Her eyes focused on the grass as she did so. Tilting her head, she noticed a red not amongst the leaves. A small lady bug was taking flight between grass blades at that moment. It seemed to delight the filly and take her mind off the running. Kneeing a bit she stood, but bent down to examine the bug as she did so. Which in return seemed to frighten the bug, who took flight into the air. The filly looked up. “Bye, bye lady bug!” She called, just as her mother and sibling reached her. Her tail flickered side to side happily as she glanced at her mother.
