Down the roads moved a wagon of a rather unusual design. With a slab of rock as a base and comically large, thick wheels to an otherwise tiny cart it was something of a sight to behold as two Rapidash strained themselves to pull it. Of course, it wasn't such an unexpected thing; a single Rhyperior rested in the back. He was something of a specialist in his field. Simply put, he was the best there was. The little cart he napped in lazily was something partially of his own design, since normal wooden ones couldn't handle his massive size. A noise broke between the barrier of consciousness and unconsciousness and the Rhyperior roused himself slowly. "...need to take a look at this. You really do." With some careful and clunky shifting, the Rhyperior righted himself to look forward. "What in god's name...?" A hole. A hole so massive it defied logic. Impossibly large marks were carved into the walls as the tunnel turned through the earth. Either it was a very clever ruse or one creature had made the hole that left even the Rhyperior feeling small. "How...?"

 Tolin
Tolin rested in his chair. Something rest at the back of his mind. An itch. It tugged at his mind persistently as it skirted the edges of his understanding. It began to burn slightly as if begging to be scratched, but the only way to scratch such an itch was to figure out what exactly it was. It had taken over his mind and though frustrating, he refused to stop trying to figure out what exactly it was. Something was amiss, though he couldn't exactly figure out what. It was like it wasn't something that was bothering him, but rather the absen-- "No, no no no..." With rushed steps as the Scyther stumbled over his own feet he pressed two buttons on the side of a small computer. With a whirl and a pop, a Porygon-Z appeared and just as quickly disappeared just as the earth began to shake...
---
Raith walked a few steps ahead of Solaris as the unusual pair traversed the main hall. Raith had seen something that he refused to explain (You have to see it to believe it) and was apparently so dumbfounded that he had come to Solaris for an explanation. Solaris, meanwhile, looked grumpy as hell because he was pretty sure whatever it was was going to be incredibly stupid and Raith had only come to bother him because everyone else was busy. Raith stopped suddenly in the middle of the main hall, causing Solaris to smack into his tail and stumble back a few steps. "...Do you feel that?" "Feel wha--" It was almost instantaneous. The rumbling began as the ground below the main hall split and the floor was torn asunder. A massive set of jaws tore past the wood and in the blink of an eye Raith had disappeared. Vines spread from the hole as the massive beast began to both pull itself from the hole and attack those around it. Even as Solaris scampered away one slipped around his leg and pulled him to the earth before he could touch the alarm. From there, they would only spread... "Noooo! Save me, I'm too pretty to die!"
  Solaris & Raith
*****
Massive vines have begun spreading through the guild! They're destroying the building and attacking everything they find. Er, sorta. It doesn't seem like they can "see" or anything so they aren't exactly the most... dangerous of enemies individually. You have no idea what's going on, but they seem to be coming from the main hall--fight your way there!
Vines have 5 health each and take 1 damage from any attack. Each roleplayer has to deal with 1 vine for every 3 team members they have, rounded up. So 1 vine for 1~3, 2 for 4~6 etc. Your pokemon may team up with other RPer's pokemon to help them through. Teleportation is inaccessible in this chapter.
Also, this is the chapter so you are encouraged to bring as many team members as possible. Team members will have opportunity(s) to run in small groups.
Expect some death in this chapter, by the way~
Edito: Additionally, characters who participated in the OC meme have mandatory attendance. Exceptions may be made--contact me.

Beatrice &&& Ailleen &&& EmilyAilleen and Emily were having a mini-rave, while Beatrice watched the egg and drank tea. Suddenly, a tentacle lashed up through the floor of Emily's den, knocking the Vulpix and the Rattata inside of it away from everything. Her room had basically imploded. Beatrice was now being half dragged, half carried down the long hallway in the entrance by a rather hyper Vulpix, with a blue Rattata running on the walls. God knows what Emily spiked those drinks with. The team grouped around in the nursery ready to protect the egg. "The holy mother-f***ing sweet Arceus!!!" Beatrice sputtered. Confusion, horror, and excitement shone on her face as she was dragged. "It needs to be kept warm! What if it hatches? We can't very well have tentacles killing our newborn baby? Did you think of that Ailleen? Did you? Did you?""Well we didn't have this egg, techinically. Seeing as we are of the same gender we can't really mate regardless if I was bi, can we? Bet 'cha didn't think of that?" Joy glimmered off her face as she charged around the room. Wrong emotion kid, try fear. "What in the name of my ***** ***** *****? Where the heck are these things coming from?!?!" A vine shot out from the hall and was moving at alarming speed towards Team Wonderland. Ailleen let loose a roaring Inferno at the vine. Emily jumped off the walls and latched onto the vine. She bit in with a Super Fang and promptly got sick. The whole scene was much like a cat throwing up a hairball, but it looked rather silly on a Rattata riding a giant tentacle type thing. Anyways, Beatrice used a Magical Leaf which mainly hit the vine but a few shaved off a few of Emily's hair's "Hey! Watch the merchandise!" Emily screamed as the tentacle spead up, and as she was twirled around the room. "Somebody help me!!!" Emily's voice faded off into shrieks as she was flung about the room. -3 to Team Wonderland's vine The vines aparently taste very much like bile. It is advised you don't bite them.

(14 characters. 5 vines. 25 HP total's worth of vines) Morana && Incultyr && Chronicler && Crown && Skye && Aceraceae && Veritas "I-how- it's-" Crown stared with shock at the mothim hovering in the doorway. The last time she saw him had been nearly two years ago, and even if he had been but a burmy then, she would recognize the wings of the Ulysses family anywhere. "My queen! You're alive!" The Mothim cried happily, flying forward towards the Butterfree. "We thought you had di-"His words were cut off as the room began to shake violently. A shrill scream could be heard from the ceiling as a certain Cherrim was thrown off her hammock. Before the grass type could hit the ground, a blue blur caught her and Veritas lowered the Cherrim gently onto the ground, all four legs spread wide to keep her balance. "What's going on!?" Morana cried with alarm, getting up from where she had been curled up in her bed just as the first of the vines burst through the floor. The door between the the two rooms Team Polaris owned banged open to reveal Acer, looking distressed. Through the open doorway the team could see more vines breaking up through the floor and walls in the room beyond. Without hesitation Morana charged across the room through the doorway. "Incultyr!""I'm OK! What the bloody hell is going on!?" A Pupitar called back from the corner of the room. A vine broke through the floor right next to him, but with a strong jet of air the Pupitar propelled himself several feet away, closer to Morana. "I don't know! I think we're under attack!"From the sounds they could hear from down the hall, it seems like the entire West Wing was under attack. The vine that had been after Incultyr previously whipped around towards them, but the Houndoom foresaw this and ducked at the right time, turning around to blast it with a concentrated stream of fire. The last several feet of it withered away. The rest of the team had made their way into the room now, Veritas taking up the rear to discourage any of the vines following them with quick snaps with her fire-encased jaws. "What do we do?" Veritas asked, surprisingly calm considering the fact that their home was being destroyed all around them. The Jolteon looked to Morana and Incultyr for guidance. In fact, all of the rest of them except for Skye seemed very calm, if forced, and were waiting for an answer. The Mothim fluttered as close to Crown as he could, looking very much frightened. "We have to get out of here. If the walls and ceiling become weakened enough the guild could collapse on us and trap us in. We have to get out and find the other guild members." And no doubt this had something to do with one of those pendants. The Sheer power needed to cause such an attack... "What about Incultyr?" Chronicler asked, pointing towards the mostly-immobile Pupitar. Morana hesitated. No one here was strong enough to carry the Pupitar. "Just get out of here! I'll catch up." Incultyr growled, as more and more vines filled the room. Veritas sent a strong shock through one that came closer, frying it. She whipped her head back, baring her fangs at Incultyr. "Forget it, we're not-" "OK. Team, let's go! Veritas, you lead. Acer, stick close to Crown and the Mothim. Chronicler, keep close to me." Morana barked out orders, surprising everyone in the team. "But Anna-" Crown began to protest, then clinched as he Houndoom blasted away another vines that had come very close to swatting the Butterfree out of the air. He will be fine, let's go!" It hurt, it really did. Morana wanted nothing more than to stay by Incultyr's side and protect him until her very last breath. She shouldn't have to leave her partner. But getting the rest of her team, especially since they were mostly nonfighters, out was more important. But she had to trust him. Veritas frowned, but turned around and headed out for the door, blasting another vine out of her way with an Icy Wind. The rest of the team followed close behind, and Morana took one look back before following behind. (-5 vine HP) Team Absolute Indignation's room was dealing a little better, with all three occupants being very skilled fighters. When the first vine exploded up from a corner of the room, Zero had barely realized they were under attack until after freezing the plant matter solid. Zosee and Zora were awake within a heartbeat, and all three very quickly made the same observation that Morana had made; they can't stay here, not while the vines keep coming out from the floor and walls. Just as Zosee knocked the door down to leave another Vine that had in the main hall came in towards her, but was stopped in its tracks as a very large, very scary, violent Umbreon appeared in a burst of shadows, ripping the vine to shreds until the stump retreated back into the floor. And then the family proceeded to charge their way down the hall, stopping at the first door the passed which was Team Azalea's. Zosee knocked it down, and ran in. "Zora! Check to make sure your auntie and her team is safe!"Zora growled an afirative and dissolved into shadows. "Atra! Melissa! Lillium? Are you here!?" Zero called out. (-4 Vine HP) Atra && Melissa && Katara && Hope "Help!" Melissa cried, trapped in a corner of the room as several vines surrounded her, one having grabbed a hold of her own vine and was dragging her out from the relative safety of being wedged next to a desk. She unleashed a razorleaf at the vine, where it embedded deeply but did not loosen its grip. Her own vine had reached its limit of extension and she felt herself pulled off her feet, and she cried in pain. Her vines were not meant to be pulled out so far- it was being ripped off. A moment later the door to her room was blown off its hinge and she was surrounded by a torrent of fire. She cringed, but a psychic glow surrounded her and shielded her from the flames. When the fire died out the room was filled with the charred remains of the vines, but she was fine. She ginerly pulled her left vine back into her bulb, knowing that she would not be able to use it for a while. Atra and Hope stood at the door. "Come on, we're getting out of here!" The Flareon urged and Melissa ran for the doorway, where both of her teammates turned and headed down towards the main room of their Team room. A vine shot out from the wall to their side was was immediately deflected by a strong Psychic, courtesy of the Jirachi floating by the two of them. They broke their way into Katara's room just in time to see the Ditto-Skarmory shredding an attacking vine to pieces. The Ditto joined them and as they reached the living room they saw Zero and Zosee enter. "What the hell is going on!?" "We're not sure. Where's Lillium!?""Not here, thank god. Let's make our way out."Atra destroyed another vine that was creeping its way across the floor closer to the group, everyone headed out into the hallway, and made their way for the Main Hall. (( 9 characters, 3 vines, 15 total HP ))Team Olympus had been chilling in their room, various characters doing various things...Isis was reading her books, Iris was playing with her bag of shiny rocks, the members just basically relaxing. Eros frowned as he concentrated on a book he was attempting to give a care about, Isis said it would get his mind off of his troubles but honestly he just found it completely boring. It was then that Isis looked up from her book, the pages had started to shake and move on their own. Usually that wouldn't be too bad, it would just mean that Skittles was playing, but she wasn't galloping around...everything was calm. ...This was getting worrying, "Uh...Something is about to ha-"
It was then that vines had come up through the floor and started to lash around, separating the team into three groups...mostly because the vines wouldn't let them get to each other.
Eros frowned at the vine in front of him, this was bad, "Ok everyone! Get rid of these vines however you can!" He ordered before tossing a Shadow Ball at the vine in front of Isis, Nephthys and him. Isis nodded, it figured something happened, it was way to calm after all. She then growled a little at the vine for interrupting her reading time and punched it with an Ice Punch. Nephthys meanwhile buzzed around, being the newest on the team she wasn't used to this sudden...development. She then beat her wings together and hit the vine with an Air Cutter. Aphrodite + Lilith + Iris "Skittles"Iris let out a scared squeak as the vine whipped around as if it tried to hit someone, this was not going to be a fun ordeal for the hermaphrodite Ponyta so he/she blew out a Fire Spin out of fright. Aphrodite just frowned as she looked around, everyone seemed to be alright...though some members were scared, but that was understandable considering the rather sudden intrusion, the valley girl then gathered up some energy in her and hit the vine with a Brine attack.
Meanwhile Lilith was just staring at the vine hypnotized, it seemed so mysterious that the vampkarp bit it with Leech Life. She then spat the energy she had gotten out, that had to be the most revolting taste ever! Anubis + Heimdall + HestiaAnubis giggled as he launched himself at the vine, attempting to rip it out of the ground...even though said vine just stayed put. So it was a rather wasted attempt, "This should be fun! Right?" He said with a psychotic giggle as Heimdall stared at the Riolu with a worried look. Ever since he had gotten possessed by that Nincada he was just...scary sometimes.
Hestia meanwhile ht the Vine with a concentrated Blizzard attack, this just seemed unnatural...so she took out her rosary and started to pray to Arceus. Heimdall meanwhile had dodged the vine which was started to flail everywhere and so hit it with a Extrasensory. Anubis just laughed as he easily dodged the flailing before running up tot he vine and smacking it with a Drain Punch. This just seemed so fun to the Riolu. Vine 1: 2 Vine 2: 2 Vine 3: 2

Era & Ethfael & Sereni & Riley & Faran & Celus & Eon & Irilyss Since the festivities during the holidays, things had been going rather smoothly for Team MistMelody. They still couldn't quite shake the feeling of some impending crisis waiting to swoop down at any moment, but it couldn't be helped when one belonged to a Team in this Guild. Regardless, they made the best of the time they had, staying together more often than they were apart and coming to appreciate what remaining days of peace they had left. None of the adults let any sign of their pressing worries show for the sake of the children, and the younger members bought it without care. All in all, those days were short but sweet that led up to this day: a day that the Team would likely not soon forget.
As was the norm with these situations, there was no warning before the trouble appeared; even the all-too-familiar clanging of the alarm didn't accompany the arrival of the menace this time. It is often the pride of a Guild member to say that they are always ready for anything that will come their way, but in this case the Team was far from prepared. They were caught off guard as the earth suddenly began to tremble beneath their feet, a sign that clearly bespoke trouble. Celus was the first to snap to attention, something that was rather unusual for the older Ivysaur. "Something's coming," he stated bluntly, his eyes wide with something rather like fear. "Era, Ethfael, something's coming!"
The Dragonair looked up from the papers he was sorting and his winged partner pricked her ears to listen as she turned her head, halting her conversation with Riley. The entirety of the room grew very still as the tremors began, rippling through the earth as they went; each one held their breath in anxiety and anticipation, hoping beyond hope that it was nothing more than a passing quake. That hope was shattered with a sudden crash and a shriek that pierced the air as a massive vine burst through the picture window, dashing the glass to bits and knocking Erinn (the originator of the shriek) into the opposing wall. That was all it took to send them to action, everything bursting into motion at once. Sereni was over to Erinn in an instant, pulling Rivia by her small paw with her; Faran's hackles rose in fear and he bolted over to Riley's side as the Eevee stepped forward defensively; Irilyss sucked in a breath, her eyes straying down to her pocket before she shook her head and began to channel her energy in preparation for a fight; Eon hurried over to Era's side, the two Pikachu taking one another by the hand and speaking in hushed voices; and Ethfael and Celus both moved toward the penetration, to deal with the problem. The Dragon Type released a Dragonbreath at the plant, purple flames licking at the vine fiercely, even as Celus lashed a Power Whip of his own at the vine. "Sereni! Leave Rivia with Erinn. Erinn, when the first chance comes take her and the eggs and run, do you understand me?" there was a powerful tone in his order that left no room to be argued with, and Erinn's eyes widened with shock as he he realized Ethfael was scared. He'd never seen the Dragon so unsettled as this; if Ethfael was saying that they should run, things must be bad indeed. The Paras nodded shakily and Ethfael breathed a sigh before using a Slam to push the massive vine back again. "Good!" he shouted over the noise, "Make sure you get everything out that you can Erinn. Everything. The rest of you need to come with Era and I; we have to get to the bottom of this, whatever we happen to find there."
Ethfael's words were taken to heart by the entirety of the Team. Erinn pulled Rivia to him whispering thanks to Sereni before she left, and scuttled over toward the egg nest with the child where he began trying to figure out how to rescue all of the delicate creatures that still slept within the shells. The remainder of the Team present (Phione was still away, as was Avaria) came up beside their Dragonair Leader. Faran, excited to be included on his very first "grown-up" mission eagerly sent a Fire Spin at the vine, his fear fading like the morning mist upon standing with his Team in battle. With a concluding Trump Card from Riley, the Ace of Clubs piercing through the vine, the huge plant fell to the ground in a cloud of dust, unmoving. "Alright!" Faran yipped, jumping up and down on his paws with delight, "We did it!"
"It might be a bit soon to say things like that Faran," Riley said warily, looking about at the wreckage all around them. Arceus knew how they were going to clean their home up after this, and if the rest of the palace was in any situation similar... "Who knows how many of these things there are." The magician pulled his top hat more securely over his head and looked about, expecting another vine to arise at any moment. The rest of the Team, looked to their Leaders also, worry evident in their eyes. This was the first time their home, the one place they could consider safe in this world, had been attacked-destroyed. With what little of a safe haven they'd once had gone the world itself seemed a far more dangerous place. Given the damage done, the Team made their way to the door and out into the hall, looking around at the damage already done with shock and dismay. The vines were certainly doing their job, creating cracks all up and down the hall. The West Wing rounded out, so from either way one could make their way to the Main Hall, but both ways had unknown perils awaiting them. Riley was the one to break the stunned silence that the Team shared, somewhat tentatively. "...Era, Ethfael-what should we do?"
The Pikachu and Dragonair exchanged a look and Era stepped forward. "Alright, everyone listen to me," she said, her calm voice a soothing relief to her worried Team. "Here's what we're going to do. Erinn, you heard what Ethfael said: take Rivia and get her and the eggs to safety. I know it will take multiple trips but we need you to do this for us, alright?" The Paras nodded determinedly and scuttled off back inside with one parting look at the rest of the Team, Rivia watching on curiously from his back. "Good," Era said quietly once they were gone, "Now Sereni, Celus, Eon, you three come with me. Riley, Faran, Irilyss, go with Ethfael." She looked up at her co-Leader who appeared displeased at this arrangement and she smiled slightly. "Don't worry, we'll be fine," the Pikachu reassured him, "But we have to get there one way or another, and if anyone needs help-"
"Era!" Ethfael said, "We have to get down there. The other Teams can handle themselves but we'll all be in trouble if we don't get to the main body of this...whatever it is."
Era smiled ruefully, placing a fond paw on Ethfael's tail. "Just trust me," she said softly, her gaze gentle but determined. The Dragonair made a disgruntled noise and turned his head, knowing that he had already lost this battle. The Electric Type nodded once and gestured for her group. "We'll go left, you go right," she instructed, looking at the four she was leaving steadily. "We'll meet you down there, I promise." Without another word she turned and hurried off down the hallway, the three going with her hurrying to keep up. "It'll be fine," Era murmured quietly to herself, "It'll be fine." The wings on her back glowed brightly in answer to her search for anyone who might need help. It was an instinctive response-light wouldn't really help in this situation since it was broad daylight-but soothing to the Pikachu herself.
They made their way onward without much incident for some time, until a vine burst out of the wall without warning, separating Era and Eon from Celus and Sereni. Both Pikachu spun around in shock only to be swatted back by the enormous vine, the wind knocked out of them. Eon recovered first and helped Era to her feet as he called out, "Celus, Sereni! Are you alright?"
"A little shaken but fine!" came the answer from behind the writhing vine.
"We have to pin it down so you both can get over!" Era called, standing shakily with the help of her look-alike. "Eon...together?" she asked him. The male Pikachu nodded and both of them charged up an identical Electro Ball which they pushed together and sent flying toward the plant from a safe distance back.
On the other side, Sereni bit her lip with worry as she looked down at Celus who'd been knocked to the ground. "I'm fine, don't mind me!" the Ivysaur said gruffly, bracing himself to get back up. "We have to fight its vines! That's far more important right now!" Sereni nodded uncertainly, her antenna pulsating with her worry. The Lanturn turned back toward the writhing plant and took a deep breath before charging the vine and slamming into it with a Take Down. The plant-like appendage writhed and pushed her back, but that was the worst of it. She breathed heavily, her breaths coming in gasps more out of fear than anything else. This was not good at all.
In the meantime, the group of four led by Ethfael had turned their paths the other way. The Dragonair moved quickly but the energy of Riley and Faran and the sureness of Irilyss' steps ensured that no one was left behind. The quartet made good time as they went, but Irilyss suddenly paused mid-stride. "There's a problem," the Gardevoir murmured softly, a comment that only Riley's ears caught. "Please, we have to help." the Psychic looked somewhat distraught as she said it. "They're just kids."
The other three stopped gradually, Ethfael's expression rather dark. "Who needs help Irilyss?" he asked her firmly.
"Listen," the Gardevoir replied, "You can hear their cries." Sure enough, when the other three grew silent they could hear the muffled sound of shrieks from somewhere nearby. Ethfael's gaze narrowed and he silently cursed the creature that had set upon them, Irilyss took his expression for an affirmative and quickly led the other three onward.
They arrived at the door of a room and, politeness on hold all things considered, the quartet burst inside and made their way further in to find a trio of Pokemon being accosted by yet another vine. Irilyss remembered this Team and the young Ralts who had come by one day, the Team who had left them a Christmas present; three young and kind Pokemon didn't deserve to be left alone in a situation like this. The shrieks, they found, seemed to be coming from a Rattata who was clinging to the vine for her life. "Hold on!" Irilyss called to the small Pokemon, using her Psychic to lower the Normal Type from the vine safely to the ground.
Ethfael, Riley, and Faran watched nearby where Irilyss stood, ready to move at a moment's notice. The Eevee's eyes glimmered with recognition as he too recalled Beatrice and he grinned apologetically across the room. "Sorry for barging in but it sounded like you could use a hand!" he called, sending a Swift Attack at the vine that still swung about the room. Tris & Maestro The elusive Team Night Mirage was spending time to themselves as usual. It was truly a wonder that someone hadn't looked into them yet because, aside from the odd Guild issue that involved everyone, Maestro really didn't let the Team do much of anything. Tris hardly thought of it was a "Team" anymore really; it was what Maestro wanted, always what Maestro wanted and what Maestro wanted to do more than anything was plot the downfall of everyone but himself. It sickened the Ditto really, he often cursed the day that he'd paired himself with the Zorua. What Tris wanted was to help people. He'd joined the Guild because of it and he'd been prevented from doing that from day one. The problem was that the Ditto was terrified of his partner. Only Arceus knew what sort of thing Maestro had put his poor partner through, but Tris was well and truly beaten by whatever it was. He had courage plenty when it came to everything but the Zorua. So it was that Tris was sulking in his room as he had been for months, trying to drown out the sounds of Maestro's claw as it transcribed the Dark Type's thoughts to the paper before him in shining crimson ink.
At that moment a tremor coursed through the entire palace, causing Maestro's inkwell to fall over and spill ink onto the paper he was using which elicited a sharp word from the Zorua as he hurried to wipe the ink clear but to no avail. "Hellfire," he spat, "What business do they have disturbing my peace?" The Dark Type shifted his form to that of a Sneasel and stood to exit the room, his dark eyes flashing with displeasure. "Tris, we're going." The Ditto rose reluctantly and melded into the shape of a Farfetch'd, walking after Maestro with a stormy look on his face. "Oh why so glum?" the Zorua said, his mouth twitching to a malicious smirk as he lifted a claw to grab Tris by the bill. "Isn't this what you're always asking me to do? Go outside? Well here's your chance." The latter comment twisted into a snarl at the end and he released the Ditto with a bored expression.
The duo made their way out into the hall where it was evident that something was amiss. It was loud, rumbling and groaning of the foundations of the building mixed with crashes and the sounds of things crumbling to create a symphony of discord. "What's going-" Tris began tentatively, but he was silenced by a warning glance from Maestro. The Zorua led the way further down the hallway, looking to locate the source of all the commotion. This continued for a time until... "Maestro look out!" The voice belonged to Tris, and the Farfetch'd shoved the Sneasel to the ground just as a vine burst up from the ground where they had been standing not a second before and soared up through the ceiling.
"Get off me you fool!" the Zorua snapped, shoving Tris off of him and getting to his feet. The Ditto recoiled, wounded that his rescue had gone practically unnoticed; for all that he hated his partner he wouldn't stand by and watch him die. Maestro stepped forward, looking oddly at the vine as though it had intruded up his space and he expected it to apologize. "This is rather large..." he murmured quietly, "I wonder what sort of Pokemon it could possibly belong to." His eyes danced with the cold fire of fascination which made Tris' blood run cold. Whenever Maestro got that look he was thinking nothing good. Before much more could happen though, the vine's head plunged back down from the ceiling and it began to circle the Zorua. He cursed and shouted over the creaking of the ceiling, "Don't just stand there you idiot! Do something!"
Tris blinked in shock and astonishment, taking a moment to collect himself. Pulling himself out of his daze, the Ditto dashed at the vine and began to peck at it with a Fury Attack. Every second seemed to tick on too quickly, there wasn't enough time: there was no time at all.((Let's see let's see. 10 characters total; 4 vines MistMelodyVine 1: 0Vine 2: 2 Vine 3: 5 (Still hasn't appeared yet) Night MirageVine 4: 4 -1 to Wonderland's vine and Irilyss gave Emily a hand))

Zori & Kaiyou & Azra & Gary & Skye & Istas & Keiran & Celeste{{ 8 characters; roughly 3 vines That makes 15HP. Please note that other characters might be around the group, depending on whether or not other users post with them. IE; Raven, Locke, Doku, and such. }}
Kaiyou awoke with a start, his eyes wide with sudden alarm as he felt the bed shifting beneath his form. A massive vine burst forth from beneath his bed, twisting around and grasping blindly at the air where the Swampert had been just moments before. He sprang at the wall, kicking off and already leaping through the open doorway. The vine tailed him relentlessly, its thick, dark form immediately being attacked by a familiar figure.
"Kai! Kaiyou, you alright?" Azra called, her eyes narrowed seriously. The sleepy form of Istas, scarf and all, was curled tight against the Riolu's chest. He could tell from the way that the young Pokemon's fur were bristling that both were very uneasy about the situation. The vine was recovering quickly from the clawing it had taken from Azra's Force Palm, already beginning to twist and writhe under the youth's grip.
Kai took over almost immediatey, his protective instincts kicking in. "I'm fine! Go, get the others; I'll take care of the vines!" he called back, swirls of ice already shimmering in the dim light. He grasped the vine with one hand, frost spreading swiftly up the length of the grassy tendons. He struck it hard with his free hand, the strike shattering the ice that had formed along the vine. Part of the vine broke away, splintering into parts as the vine writhed in mimic of pain.
He felt something coil tight around his ankle, and the Water-type twisted to tear the second vine away from him. The damaged one gripped his wrist as he raised it to strike, and he felt his body tugged in two directions. He cried out in pain as his shoulder was near to popping out of joint.
Another voice joined his, though this one in anger.
A Crush Claw struck hard on one vine, and a Frost Breath on the other. Mother and daughter tag-teamed in tearing the vines away from their companion. "Kaiyou, let's go!" Skye shouted, her voice high pitched with alarm. Bits of leaves and vines were caught in her silvery-violet fur. Kai nodded weakly, scooping the Eevee into his arms and taking off down the hall. Zori followed at top speed, her lithe form merely skipping over the obstacles in her path.
A powerful Water Pulse shot through the hall, striking back the vines that tried to follow. Water spattered against his cool skin, and he shivered unhappily at the chills that spread through his torso. He was definitely glad that his sonar let him see through this mess. The darkness was nearly suffocating. It brightened slightly as they reached the main living space, only to become blinding as someone hit the switch. Near the whole of Team Stormcloud was gathered together in the main room, with Azra standing by the light.
Skye squirmed, leaping down from Kai's arms, and he twisted to watch her dart off toward the hall again. He could hear Zori's voice, calling her back, but the Eevee didn't so much as pause. Whether or not she could even hear her bother was debatable.

Skye ducked low, shards of ice fanning from her jaws as she breathed. The vines twisted almost instinctively away from her, trying to avoid the biting cold that spewed from her lungs. The nearest vine twisted, grasping at her tail, and a loud yowl spilled from her throat. She spat more ice at it, and it retreated entirely, making room for the other to twist in instead.
The Eevee knew what she wanted to do. With all of the ice and water already marring every inch of the hallway, the place would easily go alight with any form of electricity. If she couldn't take the vines out by brute force alone, a burst of high-voltage electricity would certainly do the trick. After all, if Pokemon had died from similar outbursts of electrical power, why not a cursed piece of plant material. She'd shock whoever owned the things to high heaven and back again.
The vine reared high overhead, and she crouched low with an infuriated hiss. She tore at the electrical socket, her Frost Breath making the plastic cover brittle and breakable. She tore it from the wall, leaving the sparking outlet hanging free in the open air. Shoving the exposed wires at the vine, she braced herself as the electricity coursed through both herself and the vine.
She felt nothing; her body twisted and spasmed at random, unable to think, feel, or process any sort of information. Moments later, she was grasped roughly by the shoulders, and hauled into Kai's arms. Almost immediately, the electrical surge seemed to die away around her, and she was free to curl painfully into Kai's arms again. The Swampert's form wrapped tightly around hers as he absorbed the majority of the shock into his own body, channeling it down into the earth.
He roared, a Hydro Pump bursting from his throat and striking into the vines. The electricty caught once more onto the renewed water, shocking the length of the grassy surface. By the time the emergency shut-off kicked in, both Pokemon had vanished from the room with the rest of their teammates.

Keiran was silent, diving around the massive vine as it twisted and grasped at open air. He was far faster than the plant, to be sure, but he certainly wasn't stronger. The thing was larger around than most tree trunks, and he wasn't even sure of where it came from. This definitely wasn't a fight he wanted to lose, but it wasn't one that he wanted to start in the first place.
The walls and floors were torn apart in multiple places, and Keiran now ran and leaped across the joints below the floor boards. His breathing was irratic and rushed; clearly running out of steam. He'd hit it more than once, but Quick Attack and Force Palm would do little against such a powerful organism; if it was even alive. He didn't have a hope in hell, if it came to defeating it alone.
The vine reared to strike, and the Riolu took his chance to flee. He sprinted from what was left of the room, narrowly avoiding a bone-crushing tackle.
As he moved into the hall, he took his chances and just booked it. He could feel the burn in his legs and chest, but he didn't dare to stop. He could hear the floor and walls being torn apart behind him as the vine made it's path, slicing through sections of the building to try and reach him. The crashing noises were earsplitting.
Suddenly, a second vine burst out before him, and he yelped, knocked flat onto his back. He didn't so much as twitch as the vine moved to strike him, rolling quickly onto his belly and dodging around it. The two vines twisted into eachother, trying to reach the Riolu as he squeezed his tiny form into a cramped crevice in the wall. He could feel a heated body beside him, and suddenly twisted. She smelled... felt... was familiar.
All at once, Celeste and Keiran both burst out of the crevice in the wall, attacking eachother amidst the chaos. Flames spewed from the Chimchar's mouth, and Keiran was quick to oblidge her in battle. They were tearing eachother apart, or at least trying to. The vines didn't seem to care, still trying to get at one or both.
A blast of water struck both, knocking the breath from their lungs, and their forms from their feet. The waves washed over them, soaking them to the bone. Celeste and Keiran shivered in unison, their eyes wide with shock as the vines retreated from them. A large group of Pokemon met their sight, and for once Celeste made no complaints in relation to the fellow Pokemon of the guild. A Swampert nudged the pair to their feet, and the whole group made their way toward the lobby, trying to avoid the backlash from the vines that was sure to follow.

ImitiqwertOliverqwertyChuck "What the--"Oliver looked around in the team room as the floor shook. While he did not find out what the source was, he did notice something that was rather more deserving of his attention. The bunk bed was rocking, and looked as if it was about to fall over. This was a problem largely because Imiti was on the top bunk, and Chuck sitting in the armchair right beside it Trusting that Imiti would be alright (he was a Psychic type and on top of the bunk bed, after all), Oliver grabbed Chuck's arm roughly and yanked him out of the way, heading away from the bunk bed. Not half a second later the entire construction fell over. Imiti caught himself mid-fall, hovering in midair before he or the bunk bed hit the ground. The middle bed landed across the armchair's arms, right where Chuck's head had been. The top bed's supports splintered and broke, and that part fell to the ground. Chuck got up and dusted himself off. "What on earth was that about?" There was another rumble, and several vines sprouted from the ground to lunge at Oliver and Chuck. An aura shield materialized in an instant, protecting Oliver against the first attack. Chuck was not quite as quick; he was bound by a pair of vines in seconds. Imiti charged, a heavy psychic blade appearing in his hand. He hacked at one of the vines, severing it, and Oliver turned his shield into a blade to cut the other one. Chuck was still quite unable to move, but at least now the vines weren't taking him anywhere. "Get rid of these quickly. We have to join the others."Vines 3/5 HP

((4 vines, 10 characters, half of this was done at 4am so pardon any nonsensical stuff I didn't bother checking)) Ver -- Freya -- Flor -- Alice -- RufusIt was a normal night (day, night whats the difference) for the most part. The team relaxed in their room as they so casually did when nothing eventful happened. It was a nice relaxing period but something felt off to Alice; something in the air just didn’t feel right but the small Gardevoir couldn’t possibly figure out what or why. Her heightened instinct just told her so and that was that. She seemed slow and often paused and stared as if listening for something and it wasn’t for some time that Ver finally felt the need to ask what was wrong. The Flareon could hardly pose the question before a tremor was felt, making everyone fall dead silent and wait for the inevitable that they’d faced time and time again. Though the tremor weakened, it never truly left and preparation was cut off in but seconds as walls seemingly shattered under the force off… vines? “We have to leave…” Alice’s face turned dark and two Eeveelutions gave her a hard, horrified stare. Something was below them, she knew it. Without hesitation the Gardevoir ran to the team’s doorway leading into the hall, only to see it smashed through before her. She merely flinched away and screamed in response, releasing a Psychic in a burst at the vines before falling on the ground as she so often did when panicked. A sudden rush of heat was felt overhead as Ver covered the door and walls in a Flame Thrower, forcing the vines blocking the doorway to retreat and the ones covering the walls to become slow and lethargic as if stunned—if only temporarily. Freya paced over to the male’s side, removing one of the few vines from the equation with a Razor Leaf. Hell, for all she knew, the thing would just grow back. Gathering themselves, Ver’s fur rose and his fangs bore as he glared down the walls while his remaining team rushed for the hall, all aside from Rufus who stayed by the Flareon’s side as he slowly began to back himself toward the doorway, releasing another Flame Thrower in the process. Freya’s cry had him turn in place suddenly and rush out the doorway with Rufus left behind to give a heavy Thunder throughout the room before running out to meet the rest of his team. The hallway, the ground, the walls, everything seemed to have been literally eaten away at, but it almost seemed as if it was done in passing. Alice quickly looked back behind them to find the damage all the same. This attack, whatever it was, it was moving and quickly.
“What do we do?” “I’m… not sure…” Could they even fight this off? Ver gave a blank stare ahead, registering the damage as a vine suddenly caught his attention. It lashed out from a wall with no sense of direction and in attempt to slow it; Rufus released a Thunderbolt—barely grazing it before Freya quickly backed him up with another Razor Leaf. A pink barrier covered the group after a moment, courtesy of Alice who idled between the few. If they could hit it before it hit them, they would probably be fine. Probably. She could hear cries of both familiar and unfamiliar voices, being the only one of the group truly listening for them. Some close, some far though she couldn’t assume if her team would run into them or vice versa. Regardless, clearing the way would be the best for all of them. (( Vine 1 - – 0HPVine 2 – 2HP Vine 3 – Popping up next round so I have stuff to post)) Epitaph -- FangIt was horrifying, the sudden shaking and assault threw the large Flareon into panic as she sprinted down the halls; looking for someone, anyone. She just couldn’t be alone, not now. Her prayers would quickly be answered as she turned down a hall, eyes meeting the Raichu before her which she quickly jumped over to avoid injury and the two quickly turned to greet one another in an empathy of chaos. “What’s happening? Are you alright?” “Fine… fine. No clue.” The Raichu frowned, her grey eyes taking a moment to scan the halls. This area wasn’t as bad as some others. “We should try finding others. I imagine the damage is spreading fast… But honestly, I dunno if I wanna know what caused it.” Fang moaned at the thought, making Epitaph’s ears fall. She agreed though. People needed help.((Epitaph and Fang are free to help other teams)) Aire -- Anues”You threaten me to back away and then you drag me along with you… you’re a confusing woman.” “Don’t give me that. I’m not here to get us killed.” “Of course not.” “We’ll leave if anything bad happens.” “Just as always.” “Will you—““I forget, how did you almost get yourself killed last time you came here?” Silence overcame the duo as they exchanged glances; Aire giving her typical death-gesturing glare and Anues merely meeting her with a judgemental stare. It was true. Why would anyone let her near Alfred after what happened last time? She’d get booted before she had the chance to explain herself. The female was the first to break eye contact, turning her attention forward with a sigh as she stood up upon the windowsill the psychics idled on before teleporting herself safely to the ground. Anues’ attention followed her carefully as she began to make her way forward into the guild, disregarding his existence. He had no intention of moving just yet; having no problem watching over Aire from afar given they were in the overall same location. His idle wouldn’t last long. Something touched his psychic making the male sit upward and stare out, questioning whatever it was. Aire quickly confirmed his suspicion as she halted in the few feet she walked before turning back to him, only to turn forward again as Anues teleported to her side. “Something’s here…” Aire’s eyes narrowed as she shook her head, dismissing the issue. “Let them deal with it. It’s not my—“ Turning back to the window to make her leave, the female’s expression turned grave. Vines creped along the exit from seemingly nowhere. It made a shiver run up her spine and she quickly turned again, only to find Anues staring down more making their way down the halls and breaking into rooms. It was disgusting. Her teleport was no longer responding either. What was happening?
“I suppose it’s our problem now?” The male turned back toward Aire with a sigh as a psychic stinger no shorter than arm length plummeted into one of few vines before them in a loud shrill. “Just… just get rid of them.”(( Vine 4 – 4HP))

~Aidan & Nadia ~Kyle ~Finian ~Ein "I'm sorry, I was just trying to help!" A wail of pleading sorrow came from the corner of Team Kusa's rooms wherein a lone Flareon sat curled in upon himself cringing in fear at the towering monstrosity which literally sprouted from the floor before him. As it seemed for the moment, the tendril, flailing about and aflame thanks to Kyle, just barely couldn't reach the fiery canine but if he were to move out of his position the fox was done for. As it seemed he was the first to arrive on the scene which entailed a large, vine-like, monster coming up from the floor below and tearing its way into his team's shared rooms, the Flareon immediately reacted by setting it ablaze with a not so well aimed Flamethrower attack. This, in turn, lead to the beginnings of destruction for the enemy and the immediate scenery which was apparently equally flammable. In short, no member of Team Kusa has yet to show any interest in flameproofing any of their living area despite past experiences. "Wake uppppp." In the next room over, Finian was forced awake by a rather irking tugging on his head scythe. He had become rather accustom to letting as little as possible disturb his sleep anymore, just figuring any ruckus in his lodgings to simply be not worth his attention, however, this time seemed the slightest bit difference. "Seriously. Disaster Pokemon and you can't see s**t like this coming?" Ein continued his onslaught, tugging as hard as his miniature body powered by fluttering pairs of wings would allow. The Absol at his feet still not appearing aroused awake by his efforts in the slightest; the particular entity buzzing around his head being something that he trained himself to become oblivious to as a pestering factor also. "What do you want?..." Finian finally groaned out, rolling into a position which better made his face revealed for speaking rather than mumbling directly into the floor. "Per usual, the place is on fire, but this time we got company, and I'm not getting a good vibe from it. There's something attacking the guild. I'd abandon ship but I'd miss bugging the ever living hell outa' you~." Ein noted in response, giving one last, violent tug with the succeeding intention of causing pain to the Absol's head scythe before letting go. "I'm up. I'm u-...What the hell is that?" Finian took to his feet with a bit of pep after he was informed of the severity of the situation and took notice of it for himself. The canine proceeded to dash into the adjacent room and let loose a blizzard upon all that resided within. Granted this much included a particular Flareon which was probably cowering in a puddle of his own filth by now but such sacrifices would have to be made. At least the flames were out now by means of a brisk breeze but the giant tendril seemed as angry and flail-y as ever. Ein, who followed along for the fun of it, donated his own Magical Leaf to the cause, a set of golden, psychically enchanted blades slicing violently at the air around the enemy. Two more members of Team Kusa would have been more than glad to contribute their aid to the troubles at hand if it weren't for the fact that there was an equally threatening vine invading their own, separate room. Aidan, in this moment, finding himself pinned up against a wall by the mentioned plant-like object of unknown origin while his sister gave her best attempts to set him free, the fiend did not necessarily have the lack of girth enough to actually wrap itself around the Riolu, rather it seemed to be unconsciously going for the second best thing and pressuring him still with rib crushing force. Words needed not to be shared between the twins, there was clearly something more pertinent at hand like making sure neither one of them took to death throughout the course of this violent interaction against an unknown enemy. So far things were looking in their favor though, the enemy at hand clearly not having all that much cognitive skills going on to keep track of two lithe bodies who had the ability to attack and fend for themselves; it merely being luck that it had Aidan in the situation he was now. However, that even wasn't meant to last long it seemed as all it took was a Force Palm from Nadia to stun the vine just long enough for it to loosen its grip on her sibling. "We have to get a collective together. I don't think this problem is unique to us." The Riolu proceeded to fall to the carpeted floor below as he was let go of, speaking between gasping breaths of a gameplan, a statement which seemed logical enough. They had better chances if the guild was being attacked as a whole to, well, act as a whole. At least now they had an objective set, get the hell out of their room, even if that meant leaving it in ruins, get to safety, and find allies.

& & ( Blue & GOOP & Saraph )[[ Monochrome has 1 vine, 5 HP ]]
"Mommy!" Vertigo clung to a table leg for dear life, she didn't know what was going on but it scared her. There were vines and stuff knocking down and...it was all so sudden. One moment she was coloring, and the next everyone got all moved around. Now she was here, alone, and rather frightened. She closed her eyes, she just wanted it all to go away, go away...
A warmth around her as she was picked up, was it her mom? She opened an eye, the arms that held her were pale white, and she was now higher up than mommy could have ever taken her. "Raphy?" The hybrid smiled, putting her on his back as a Psychic formed around his hands like twin daggers, giving his tips a pointed end and the sides of his arm a sharp edge. He used them to keep the vines at bay as he walked over to one of the subrooms, where most of the teams beds were located. He flung the door open, picking Vertigo up and dropping her down into Joy's waiting arms. "Yer safe now, Kiddo"
The room had become a safehouse of sorts. All the members were there, guarding one another, Saraph having been picked to bring them there by Blue after being determined the tallest and therefore it would be easier for him to do the task. Speaking of, the Sneasel walked up next to him, "Raph, its coming from the hallway." the hybrid shook his head, "again? I guess we should go out to investigate, then. Get up on my back, we'll ride in" Blue's ears went to the side, "Are you...sure about that?" He nodded, "Horses are meant to be ridden, yes?"
Blue shrugged it off, yeah it would be fine. Besides, the height and all would give him advantage, right? He jumped up on Saraphs side, the hybrid helping him up. "Alright, You guys hold up fort here, Me and Raph are off to investigate" "W-wait!" Vertigo came up to them, a roughly made scarf in her hands. "I-I made this for you, Raphy! I found mommy's knitting supplies-" Jay snickered, and Blue gave him a low growl. The fox would pay for that one. "-and I made you a scarf! Mommy always says its dangerous outside, and with winter its really cold...I just thought...Well, you didn't have stripes like anyone else, and this could keep you warm!" Saraph took it in his hands, looking down at it before wrapping it around his neck. "I love it!" She clapped her hands, "Yay! Now...go fix things!"
And they did exactly that. Saraph, Blue on his back, walked out of the teams room and out into the hall.
-----
"HOLY HELL THEY'RE EVERYWHERE" Blue shouted out as Saraph kept abruptly stopping, trying not to get tangled in any of the vines. "Gah!" one of them caught the hybrids leg, and he struggled to get it loose. Blue opened his mouth and let a Powder Snow out at it, and he could see it wear down. Saraph grunted, a small cloud of bright glowing leave-shaped bits of psychic energy forming in front of him. He swiped his hand, the leaves going down and cutting at the vine. Ah, but it was still there! Ack, Ack...
An Ice Beam shot out from behind Blue. "Eh, what was-" She turned to look, On her back clung a pink Shellos, a smile on his face. "GWAH!" "Goop? How did you-" "DEY!" "...nevermind" He detached the Shellos from his back, holding him tight in his arms as he clung to Saraph, the Hybrid still fighting with the Vine to not get pulled into the ground.
[[ - 3 to Monochromes vine. :: :: ✗ Ren :: Senka :: Mr. Cuddles ✗[[ 1 Vine <3 ]]
"I sensed something like this was coming" Senka watched the vines from afar, Cuddles in her arm. Ren floated idly next to her, a quizzical look on her face. "Vat?" She'd never Mentioned that before. The hooded pokemon nodded, "While it was nice to meet up with an old friend and make new ones, Thats not the full reason I came here. I just never told you before because I didn't want to make anyone worry...I had a hunch but I wasn't sure, and while I hoped that in this case the reading was wrong...it wasn't."
She sighed, "A friend of mine, the one who had given me my hood, I stayed with her and her husband for a little while recently. She told me a few days later she saw something coming, something that would endanger the companions of one who was unliving, someone I know" She squeezed Cuddles in her arms, the Igglybuff smiling on as he had the whole time. "You're my only ghost friend. I came rushing, even if her readings as of late haven't been accurate"
She looked at one of the vines, it was getting closer and closer to them by the second. Three ringlets of darkness came into existence in front of her, spinning rapidly. "Now is not the time to speak, however, now is the time to act." she said, pushing her hand forwards as she watched the small Dark Pulse go up to and burst at the vine. Ren nodded, a beam of multicolored light shooting out from her and at the vine, knocking it back abit.
Cuddles just sat there and smiled on. And, in the blink of an eye, he disappeared! another blink, he was at the vine, and a third blink and he was back in Senkas arms, as if nothing had ever happened.

 Solaris
Solaris struggled against the vine as it wrapped around his chest and lifted him into the air. But in spite of him biting and clawing at it to the best of his ability, it wouldn't give against his strength. Even as he tried to exercise his psychic against it it proved futile--he couldn't get himself untangled. He couldn't do anything but watch as the creature pulled itself free from the hole and emerged. It was probably going to eat him, wasn't it? "They always kill the pretty ones first, is that it!?" ;_;
      Tolin & Serrin & Albus & Laura & William & Lia
"Everyone get moving! I don't know what's coming but you're all leaving." Tolin quickly took a mental tally of who was where. Sam and Puer were the only ones missing from the team room and as far as he knew they were still down in the city--everyone else was here. Albus, Laura, Lia and William were all sitting at a table with expressions varying and mixed between fear, readiness and confusion. Alfred would be in the room with Goldclaw not far off. Serrin was (had been) reading. "Serrin, take Alfred out of the city. Goldclaw, protect both of them. If there's so much as a scratch on him I'll make sure you regret it. The rest of you stay with them. It's your safest route out." Albus and Serrin were quick to get moving even as the others were weighed down by uncertainty. But Tolin wasn't there to answer any questions or give reassuring words; he had already left in the direction of the fight.
What unfolded was nothing short of a mess as the team quietly began to panic. "I... I can't teleport." "We'll walk. We'll be fine." "No, no-no you don't... Miss Minerva's in the castle." "She has guards, she'll be fine. Have faith in them. Alfred, get up, we're moving." As the door handle came down, Albus glanced back and swallowed his fear. "She'll be fine. We need to get moving." "She'll be fine, Lia. She's probably evacuating. We'll meet up with her outside." The Azumarill gave a halfhearted nod. There wasn't any other choice.
 ASAR
The machine's head tilted slightly to the side before sharply snapping back to normal. "ThAT'S STrange..." The process was beginning and running through normally, but it wouldn't resolve. He was still within the basement of the Move Tutor with the metal box held between his arms. A small click could be heard by none as ASAR replayed his exact orders in the voice of the one who had given them. "If I've set off this command it's because we're under attack. Retrieve the poison from the bottom of the move tutor and then meet the guild at the fight. If I'm dead or otherwise incapable of taking the box from you, find the highest ranking person who can take it and give it to them. There's a simple note inside with instructions for what to do. Get it there as quickly as you can at any cost." The Porygon-Z immediately turned his head upwards and after a few seconds he had burned a hole through the ceiling with a Hyper Beam. Up and onwards he floated back towards the fight, either unaware or uncaring of the danger that waited ahead.

Beatrice &&& Ailleen &&& EmilyBeatrice was panicking more than a little bit. Ailleen was readying another flame attack, when the members of Team Mistmelody charged in. Beatrice instinctively flinched when they barged in, but relaxed again when she saw who it was. The Ralts grinned at the Eevee's comment. "Looks like today is the day when Wonderland fights along MistMelody." Beatrice bit her lip in excitement despite the chaos. "You arrived just in time. Thank you for coming." "Well, if Wonderland is going to go out, they're gonna go out in style." The team's morale had been lifted at the promise of help. Ailleen charged her inferno deck, and with Beatrice's psychic powers the two let out a devastating Inferno that turned the vine into ashes. "Meep!" Emily had just been about to let go off the vine, when a strange cushiony feeling envoloped her. Is this heaven?... If it was, Emily wasn't very impressed. There was a pile of ashes and the room was a wreck.

Zori & Kaiyou & Azra & Gary & Skye & Istas & Keiran & CelesteKeiran trudged alongside the massive, violet Swampert, their movements as quiet as possible to avoid drawing attention to themselves. They'd beat off the vines that had been after them before, but they could hear panic ensuing everywhere. Between himself and Kaiyou, as his teammates had called him, they were supposed to be keeping an eye on the children. The younger Pokemon were falling into step around them, though a tiny young Pichu still clung tight to the shoulder of the over-sized Water-type he was working with.
"I'm sleepy... can we go home, now?" the Pichu whimpered quiety, not fully understanding the need for stealth and silence. "This is scary, Kaiyou..." Keiran could feel his heart soften as he looked up at the fearful little girl, who clung so tightly to Kai's shoulder that he could swear there'd be a pair of paw-shaped bruises marring his skin the next morning.
"Hush... Hush, Snow. Everything will be okay, alright? We're going to play the ninja game. We'll sneak through to the safe zone at the other end of the building, and avoid any scary monsters." The Riolu was surprised at the level of calm that had descended over the Swampert, and the skill with which he seems to soothe the fears of the small child. If everything were to be a game, there was nothing wrong. It was still scary, but they wouldn't get hurt, in their mind.
The Pichu, though her eyes were still wide and watering with fear and confusion, quieted. She was quickly taken by the gentle hands of the smaller, golden-furred Riolu who accompanied them. She, too, was merely a child in Keiran's eyes, but she was certainly older than the Pichu. "We can do this, Snow. Don't worry, okay?" Her sentiments seemed to be echoed by a reassuring nod from the charred-looking Eevee. Though her violet fur was singed black at the tips, she seemed unbothered in the slightest by the situation at hand. Merely... determined? Excited? He couldn't tell, past the emotionless mask that had become her face. The Guild Pokemon were certainly beyond strange.
- - - - -
Zori padded stealthily along the passage, ignoring the stuble shifting of light and shadow that reflected along the shining marble tiles. The light from Celeste's tail flame made it difficult to tell the difference between unnatural movements and tricks of the eye. She could feel the shaking of the stone beneath her paws, but had yet to figure out whether it was from near or far. Shouts and yells echoed through the halls like the voices of ghosts, and it sent shivers down her spine to think that someone else might be in trouble, and they weren't near enough to do anything about it.
"Right, guys. Kai and Keiran have the kids; we'll be fine on our own for now. We have to take out any vines in our path, or anyone that seems even remotely suspicious. If we come across another guild team, see if you can't tag along. We could use the extra help, and I'm sure they could as well." Her voice was commanding, leaving no room for argument. She could see the fires of defiance alight in the Chimchar's eyes, but still the primate remained as quiet as could be. She wasn't really sure what do to about the female, though she certainly remembered her. They never seemed to leave on the best of terms. Still, she'd rather be teamed with her, than leave her to look after the children of her own team. She didn't strike Zori as particularly caring, in any way, shape or form.
"Fine. We'll do this your way, Leaf-b****." The Chimchar hissed quietly in response, earning a remarkably icy stare from the Leafeon in question. "Just don't expect me to put my neck on the line when it comes down to saving your a**. Not to mention your daughter's." The way that the fur bristled along Zori's spine was evidence enough that she wasn't at all pleased with the threat, but she didn't bother to dignify it with a response.
A scream tore down the hall, and all the Pokemon near immediately bolted in the direction of the voice's owner. Someone was in trouble.
{{ - No damage. I haven't thrown them at another vine, yet, as I've already killed my required 3. Maybe next round, if we're still killing vines. }}

Era & Ethfael & Sereni & Riley & Faran & Celus & Eon & Irilyss Era panted slightly as she dove to the side to avoid a jab from the end of the vine. She and Eon had become the targets of its assault; although it couldn't "see," it somehow kept splitting the two Pikachu apart so that they couldn't stay together with its erratic motions. The Electric Type was beginning to grow concerned with the plant appendages barricading their path. Ethfael would worry if they didn't meet up in the Main Hall soon, which meant this had to be dealt with as soon as they could manage. She didn't know though, Celus and Sereni needed to get over beyond the vine and even if they did manage to suppress the vine, who knew if the two would be able to get over it. There had to be some other way. "Sereni! Celus! Can you hear me?" she shouted across the flailing plant's path. Every now and then she could catch a glimpse of the other two, but with all the cracking and crumbling sounds caused by the vine's wreaking of havok it was almost impossible to tell whether it was the same for them.
Sereni returned to Celus' side to find the Ivysaur on his feet now, sending a Razor Leaf to slice at the midsection of the vine. The Laturn looked at him curiously, and he responded to her unspoken question easily. "This vine has to be attached to something at its end," he explained, "If we want to get over to the other side without climbing over the thing, we'll have to cut the end off. Hopefully that will make it retract the vine and we can get past." Sereni nodded hopefully at his statement, praying that the Pikachu on the other side could figure out what the Ivysaur's plan was. It was at that moment that the pair heard Era's cry, both of them looking over in the general direction from whence her voice had come. "We hear you!" Celus called back, his voice steady and strong, "Era we have to cut it apart!"
From where she stood, the female Pikachu heard Celus loud and clear, and she quickly looked about to find Eon. She couldn't do it herself, but with the help of the male Pikachu they might be able to manage cutting it in two. Spotting him on all fours behind a pile of rubble Era rushed over to him, circumventing the thrashing vine as she went. "Eon!" she called, her voice causing the male to turn and hurry to meet her. "Eon we have to cut it in two!" she said rapidly, the words tumbling from her mouth as quickly as they could, "I can't do it myself but-"
Eon smiled knowingly and nodded, the Pikachu pair turning to face their sizeable opponent. "One good cut should do it, right?" The male Electric Type said with a sidelong glance at her. Era nodded an affirmative and Eon took in a breath, "Alright, on my mark then. One, two, three!" At his cue they both combined their Swift Attack to make a sharp blade of energy that sliced straight through the vine and sent the end of it falling to the ground with a resounding thud. The remainder of the severed vine pulled back outside the hole again and likely back to its owner, leaving a place for Celus and Sereni to pass though and cross over to the other two. Eon smiled, although it was somewhat strained, "See?" he reassured his counter-part, "It's fine. We're all fine." Era buried her face into Eon's shoulder in a sudden hug, and the male returned it calmly, trying to soothe his troubled Leader. "There there Era. Look, here they come!"
When the female Pikachu raised her head to look, sure enough Celus and Sereni were making their way around the severed end of the vine, eyeing it with some wariness as though expecting it to continue its destruction despite not being attached to its main body any longer. "Oh thank goodness!" Sereni said when she spotted them, hurrying over with Celus close behind, "Are you two alright? You're not hurt are you?" The Lanturn looked the two Pikachu over carefully, eyeing them for any sign of evident injury as they seperated from their hug.
"We should be asking you that!" Era said, "Neither of you are hurt? Eon and I are fine."
"All's well on our end," Celus reported, "The vine hit me and caused my legs to give out but no lasting damage done. We're all together now and that's what matters." Ever the voice of reason, the eldest member of Team MistMelody comforted Era with his words and reassured her of what Eon had already said. "A suggestion though," the Ivysaur added, "We should stay closer together now, to ensure that doesn't happen again." Era nodded, visibly relaxing to have her half of the Team back together again. The Ivysaur smiled slightly in response, "Alright then, let's move on."

After Beatrice and Ailleen's impressive display that ended the vine once and for all, Riley smiled easily in spite of the singular situation they found themselves in. "Maybe so," he said with a laugh, "It's not really the best of times for introductions, but Ethfael, Faran, this is Beatrice and her Team, Wonderland. Beatrice, this is Ethfael, Era's Co-Leader and this is Faran, another member. You've already met Irilyss and me. I'm Riley by the way." The latter part was added for the benefit of the Vulpix and Rattata, seeing as he hoped the Ralts would have remembered.
Faran looked about to eagerly say something but Ethfael cut the young Vulpix off before he could begin. "Formalities aside, we need to get going," the Dragonair stated, looking pointedly at the hole where the vine had once been. "The Guild is under attack and we'll all certainly be needed to help fend off...whatever these vines came from. Staying out of things isn't an option right now. We need to get down to the Main Hall at once before things get any worse." The large Dragon had never been one for idling in emergency situations; he could be strict to the point of being thoughtless if lives were at stake. Not only that, but the more time they took here, the greater the likelihood that Era would be left wondering where they were, and he didn't want to cause the Pikachu any more stress than she was already facing. That, and he wanted to be certain she was alright. "You three are welcome to come with us, but we have to leave now." His tone left no room for argument, and indeed he did just as he said and turned to head back into the hallway.
Riley rolled his eyes and looked at the three apologetically. "You'll have to forgive him, he isn't always like this," he said, making up for Ethfael's harshness, "He is right though; we promised to meet Era and the others in the Main Hall so we have to keep going." Nudging Faran ahead of him and gesturing to Irilyss who made her way out with a trailing glance at Team Wonderland, Riley looked back. "I'll hold him still for a few minutes so you can do anything you need to do. Come meet up with us outside when you're ready, we'll go down to the Main Hall together." With a parting nod, the Eevee hurried after the rest of his group and out of Wonderland's room. He was prepared to restrain Ethfael any way he could think of if necessary, but as it turned out he didn't have to.
"Riley look out!" Faran's voice squeaked as he shouted to the Eevee. The magician just barely had enough time to leap to the side before a huge vine hit the floor where he'd been standing with an unpleasant crunching sound. "It appeared out of nowhere!" the Vulpix said as he bounded over to Riley, his voice a mixture of excitement and fear. A chilling wind soared over their heads as Ethfael breathed an Icy Wind at the vine. Irilyss appeared out of nowhere from a Shadow Sneak attack, hitting the vine from the side and appearing beside Riley and Faran. "Come on! Let's get it!" Faran cheered, sending a Fire Spin the vine's way. The Eevee sighed and bounded forward, hitting the vine with an Iron Tail. Faran quickly sent a Dark Pulse at the vine, which sent it crashing to the ground loudly. "Yeah!" the Vulpix crowed, jumping up and down delightedly. "We're awesome!" Riley and Ethfael glanced at one another and both let out a sigh. Tris & Maestro Tris' attack did its job for the most part, the Fury Attack caused the vine to release its grip long enough for Maestro to wriggle out. "Took you long enough," the Dark Type said, shooting a glare at the Ditto before viciously clawing at the vine with Fury Swipes. Tris slashed at the vine with an Aerial Ace, resentful of Maestro's lack of appreciation, imagining that he was punching the Zorua in the process. Arceus he would love to do that. The Zorua smirked darkly at his Ditto partner's silence and channeled his Extrasensory at the flailing vine, darting swiftly out of the path of the plant as it swung against the wall, threatening to pound him against the wall. "What are you waiting for?" Maestro said scathingly to Tris, "Finish it!"
"As you wish," the Ditto spat through clenched teeth, positively seething with anger. Tris sliced at the vine with Fury Cutter, dismembering the appendage and rendering it lifeless. He didn't stop there though, the Ditto was seeing red and in his anger he cut at the lifeless vine again and again, slicing it to pieces just to vent some of his frustration for every day of this pathetic excuse for a life that he was living.
It went on like this for some time until Tris felt a sharp jabbing pain in his side and fell to the ground, moaning pitfully. "Enough," Maestro's voice seemed to ring in the Ditto's ears as he looked up and saw the Zorua wipe his Sneasel's claw of Tris' own blood. "You're a sorry excuse for a partner if there ever was one," the Dark Type sneered, stepping away from the fallen Ditto, "Pick yourself up, you're only made of ooze, yes? That shouldn't even hurt. We've got to find out what's going on here, and we're going to do it now." Tris stood painfully, doing as he was told and melding together the punctured part of his Farfetch'd form. As he followed the Zorua though, there was more than hurt in his eyes: now there was hate.(( MistMelodyVine 1: 0Vine 2: 0Vine 3: 0Night MirageVine 4: 0))
