I joined in 2004
I heard about it through a friend that had been playing on gaia for a very long time.
My favorite thing to do is Roleplay.
A lot of changes I was against at first but to be honest once you get used to them they aren't that bad.

I joined because my then girlfriend spent a lot of time on here. sweatdrop
Heard about Gaia... ^--- that one ---^
I liked playing a crap-ton of puzzles and striving to get those super-expensive MCs! rofl
I like how the variety of items has expanded and don't like the growing infrequency of posts in the writers forum.

I joined because my friend had one and this seemed like a cool website.
My favorite thing to do was probably hang out in towns, do the jigsaw puzzles, and change my avi.
I didn't like the MoGa and zOMG! additions and I never really got into them, but I really liked the OMGPOP! add on. cat_3nodding

2010, got hacked, joined again at the beginning of 2011.

How did you hear about Gaia? before 2010 i remember seeing an AD for gaia on the inside of a DVD case. (in all those little paper things you never read)
What was/were your favorite thing(s) to do when you joined? being a roleplaying noob. I'm much better now! (and my english grade has skyrocketed)

I like the outfits thing. Hate how they took out VJ for "Not a lot of user activity"

Why did you join? It looked like alot of fun.
What was/were your favorite thing(s) to do when you joined? I liked to dress up my avatar, and talk to random people.
What changes since then do you like and which ones don't you like? I like the most recent change to the My Gaia page. Makes it more functional. wink What I don't like is how much Gaia doesn't pay attention to the real life Gaia Store.

I joined in 2008, but I made this account two days ago to start fresh. My brothers played it so that's why I'm playing it now. Chatting and making friends were really easy to do and I miss the Kung Fu Panda world.

I joined because I was into anime, and it looked cute and fun! 3nodding
How I was introduced to gaia was through a new friend I had made in the 8th grade after I moved. I was staying at her house for the first time, to spend the night.
My favorite thing to do when I first joined was roam the Chatterbox, Play Puzzles, and RP. XD <--All things I DON'T do anymore.
The changes I like is all the additions to gaia - such as the extra games, items, etc. and I don't like... well, nothing. I like it all! XD

I joined in '05, and I'm 2272 days old. I think I heard about Gaia through a friend in art class. My favorite thing to do when I first became a member was hang out in the guild that my friend was a part of; I made a lot of great friends, but since then most of them have moved on from Gaia and the guild has died. I stayed on Gaia when I discovered that people commission artwork on here, and I thought it would be a fabulous way to improve my art skills and make new friends. I was totes right, yo. I like the fancy new items Gaia that keeps coming out with, although I miss the good ol' days when 50k could buy you a kiki kitty and 400k could buy you horns of the demon.
