      Most people call me "piano," which is cool, but I know nothing about pianos.
      You can even call me pia, p-chan, p-kun, pi-pi, chordy, he, she, or what have you. I'm an affable, level-headed, flirty, and (in some cases) rather unorthodox 27-year-old who takes up residence in the USA. I'm fascinated by the concept of aliens. I basically work my a** off all the time, but I want to make more time for art, so my goal on Gaia is to find that inspiration. Despite how busy I am, I'm pretty laid back. I like to play video games like WoW/.hack/KH from time to time. I dance a lot and I don't watch much TV, but I enjoy anime and have recently discovered The Walking Dead (mothership, help me).

    • I'M BACK? Well, maybe.

      Previously, starting in April 2013, I was on a long hiatus brought on by my depression. I still have bad days, but I’m doing much better than I was. Here’s what happened since then:

      • Graduated college
      • Got engaged to my longtime lover
      • Started a career
      • Got fired, but had a new career already lined up!
      • Got my first apartment with my partner
      • Realized how lonely I felt with that person
      • Decided it was better to be “alone and lonely” than “with someone and lonely”
      • Got my own apartment (******** love it, this is the best thing ever)
      • Said goodbye to my 16+ year-old cat…
      • Started dating again
      • Was openly acknowledged at work for being the best at what I do
      • Adopted two sister cats at the local shelter
      • Found a new lover ♥
      • Decided it was time to return to Gaia in search of artistic muse

I have realized that I have become REALLY terrible about replying to anyone.
I think my brain has just gone to antisocial mush over the last few years.

Gold nowadays is pretty much worthless. You have to spend a lot to get anything nice.
I figured its much more sound to buy an item and hope that the value will hold. Which says a lot about the economy.

Inflation from last year literally almost destroyed the economy. In fact, people were fed up and leaving in droves. Gaia's management got most of their act together since then.

those feels i know all too well. i'm working xmas this year (cause everyone has to work a holiday and i'd rather work xmas than thanksgiving or new years). and my workplace is reduced to the bare minumum in staff...which is tough.

I feel like we're the same person with those feels.
Money is such a cause of my anxiety...mostly cause i'm still a broke college student. although school is stressing me out the most. i'm doing rotations now (which means i'm basically working, but for free, and with the added "bonus" of doing a million assignments and projects on top of it.

*hugs Pia* What about some used cat-furniture from Craiglist? it's definitely cheaper and i was reading about ways to clean and disinfect used cat furniture.
(i'm planning on getting a cat or 2 when i finally graduate and get a job, so i've been researching what is and isnt ok to get secondhand)

Gurl, my budget can't support my stress-baking (although you're certainly welcome to come to my house and eat whatever comes from it lol). Last week, I made two dozen chocolate chip+m&m cookies that i knew i really could not afford the supplies for. gave them to my classmates cause i do not have the stomach for 2 dozen cookies. i'm supposed to be baking another two dozen tomorrow for thanksgiving festivities.

I keep hanging out in the WG subforum. XDa Been having a lot of fun there. There are a couple of art threads [draw the AAY, draw your avi and the AAY interacting] and those are pretty fun. But you can also doodle replies even in the other threads; I once accidentally did a mini comic because oops. XD! Another time I accidentally short story'd. rofl
