Eve of Cicada's On the night of the eve of Cicadas The woman, drabbed in cloth appears forth from the shadows In her arms, a child, rosy and red, just from it's hearth. She is running from a man escaping if you will. She travels into the desert of night, where the sky is cloudless, along with heartless... The woman, never thinking she had to run from the man, neigh was prepared for the heat. The sun. The child still smiled for he knew not of the cruel fate that awaited him. The mother, pale from lack of breathe, lack of food, lack of shelter, Collapsed on the ground, child still bore in her arms. She, breathlessly and dieing prayed to the gods to save her son, From the heat, from his father, From the harshness of the world. As she died on the ground, a woman, humble in appearance appeared to her. Her hair, as red as fire her smile as warm as a soft flame Her figure, small, almost childlike Said to the woman, "I will save your son, with the hearth of fire, of love, of family, He shan't feel the pain you have dear woman, now rest in peace" The woman handed the child to her, for her words were true. As she did, her lands, limped, as her soul drifted to the heavens.

Morning
The day bird chirps. The dew drop ploops, Falling from green blades, Into the puddle of yesterday's rain. The sun rises, To meet with miles of water, The prisms shine over the horizon of platinum. The day bird chirps, And all is as yesterday's morning.

Faerie
Her eyes were as pale as the deathly frost, Her hair as dark as the night. Upon her I stumbled, hopelessly lost, And she said she would make things right.
"Just give me your hand," she said to me, And I could do nothing but comply. She drew me close and then I could see No soul in those eyes.
She wove a magic so thick and pure My throat constricted tight, For never had I seen such beautiful lore Upon so disheveled a night.
"Up there," she pointed to a glimmering pond On which the Moon danced bright, "You will find a maiden fair and blonde, She will be your guiding light."
I took one last look at the precious dame And as if sensing my regret, She laid a cold hand against my bony frame And told me not to fret.
"I'll be right here, my love," she said, Laying a kiss on my lips. "You have a treacherous road ahead, All I can give you are my kips."
She slid the hide-skin cloak on me Infusing me with magical heat, "Now go, dear one, and set me free From this agony so sweet."
Years later, when I sat on the throne, I would oft wonder on the stories of ol'. That maiden, a Faerie, like a beacon shone, Setting fire to my heart and caressing my soul.

Love Spell Moon, star, ocean, sea Listen to my cry for thee Flame, leaf, air, sky Heed my pleading cry Sand and stone Before you, I stand alone In my heart, there's a burning heat For the one I'm longing to meet Moon, star, ocean, sea Bring him to me Flame, leaf, air, sky There is a tie between he and I Sand and stone I wish not to stand alone

Dark Dreams
These dreams of mine, They haunt me Chasing me through time Following no reason, Following no rhyme I seek escape, I run and flee, But forever will they follow me So to the darkness I surrender Letting it consume my being

Tears. My tears hidden away by the rain I cry unseen No tear trails cover my face I cry unseen
I make no sound I cry unheard No sniffle or sob I cry unheard
But that's all you hear and see But for me? It's a very different story.

The Goodnight Goddess by Musical_Vampire_Socks
Goddess of Love, Goddess Of Light Please hear my Prayers tonight
Let their be peace and Good Will to All Let their be Kindness wherever you give the Call.
May my dreams be Tender and Sweet May Nightmares from me you protectively Keep
Till morning light I ask you this. To give my forehead a motherly goodnight Kiss.

gaia_diamond ~Celestial Jewels~ gaia_diamond The stars are small diamonds, The sun is made of gold, The night sky is full of jewels That we can never hold. The moon is a pearl, That I treasure very much. The night sky is full of jewels That we can never touch.
