Quote:
The time has finally come! With the end of year food drive drawing to an end and the celebratory Winter Gala looming it's time for the knights and senshi to gather together and see what they've collected for the city.

The cordinates of an abandoned warehouse at the edge of town along with a day for everyone to meet together or simply drop off their haul has been sent out via another anonymous message. If you collected food, clothing, toys, money or whatever over December be sure to bring it. If you've forgotten and still want to throw in some last minute donations this is the place.

((This is open to any and all order aligned knights, senshi, and cats whether you participated in the event or not. Feel free to participate now and have fun!))

The abandoned warehouse wasn't exactly the most festive of places for the sort of gathering that was happening. The exterior seemed cold and dark, deceptively quiet, a skeleton among other crumbling old buildings at the edge of town. It was however secluded, leaving the perfect opportunity for knights and senshi free to slip in and out throughout the day.

Inside was a little warmer, not much time or effort had been spent on cozying up or decorating the building for the meeting, but the cheer of the people within did a lot to lighten the mood. The many colors of fukus and uniforms lightened the otherwise drab building, the soft sound of chatter giving a more inviting aire. Charity often brought out the best in people. The excitement of an actual chance to create a good image with the towns people and the mystery of the anonymous messages helped to add to the chatter too.

The small pile of gifts was growing as generous people continued to come through. The small mountain of cans was beginning to grow alongside a pile of folded clothing items. Colorful toys helped to brighten the otherwise dingy room. Some merely dropped off their donations and left while others milled around and chatted. Those that wanted to be part of the drop off in a few days would find themselves having to linger around a bit, as things seemed a little less than organized other then the growing makeshift pile.

With the six hour window that had been suggested, to give everyone a chance to make it, it would be a long day for those that came early and planned on staying throughout. Hopefully the sense of goodwill and generousity would carry them through and fill the warehouse with an impressive bounty and winter cheer.

-------------------

So you want to be a part of the official drop off?
I'm sure we'd all love to be part of the big Winter Gala ORP where the IC drop off of gifts will occur. Unfortunately we do not want the senshi/knights to totally swamp the thread and outnumber the civilians at the event and derail it! Because of this there will be a limited amount of people allowed to participate in that rp.

Please include this form with one of your rp posts if you're interested in being one of those and we will announce within a day or two who will be participating (powered up!) in the other rp.

Character name:
Will you be able to actually post and participate actively in the rp: Please don't steal a spot if you don't think you'll have the time to actually rp when it starts
Link to a rp done during Dec Not necessary but there will be bonus points/extra consideration for people who actually rp'd during Dec, especially if the rps related to the food drive.

With a mild rearrangement of scheduling dealt with and pushed off for the next day Sailor Polaris made her way towards the old warehouse. The bag she carried along with her was not very large, which might have seemed a little surprising to some who knew her. Her overachieving often bordered the lines of obnoxious. But it seemed she'd had a particular focus in her collecting, and the end result took up very little space.

She glanced around cautiously before she slipped in the building, making certain that she couldn't feel any lingering chaotic aura's anywhere nearby. It probably helped that it was so early in the day.

The room was darker then she'd imagined it would be, having expected something more lighted or more cheerful, but when she finally found signs of life and the growing pile of presents the corners of her lips turned softly upwards.

Crouching near the pile she dug out the two stuffed animals and set of balls she'd bought. They were simple and unimpressive gifts perhaps.. but something appropriate for almost any age and sex. Classic toys. Though the focus of her fundraising had been on actual well.. moneytary funds.. the eternal senshi of magentism couldn't help but buy a few toys. The thought of any child going completely without was enough to make her girly heart break.

The rest of 'her' donation was in the form of a manila envelope she now held onto as she looked around the room for someone or anyone that might be in charge. The outside had a small note, carefully printed in attempts to keep her printing legible and generic. A small apology for any trouble that had been caused. Signed simply Celestial Shepherds. The envelope was plump with the cash she'd earned during the weekend long bake sale she'd run in early December. It wasn't a lot considering how much Polaris thought she owed the city.. with powers like her she did a lot of unintentional collateral damage. But she had put a lot of effort into baking until she almost wanted to gag at the sight of icing. And considering the holiday theme she'd employed her sales had been pretty sucessful. It wasn't as much as she might have hoped, but she was proud nonetheless.

A little reluctant to just toss an envelope of money into the pile though she held onto it, continuing to look around mildly. Unfamiliar faces had her pausing curiously, trying to take in the allies that she didn't know.

Niflhel walked into the abandoned warehouse after a second's pause; looking a little concerned about the fact this was where they were dropping donations off at. Considering the fact it was an abandoned building and that most of the time something silly ended up happening he was a little on edge.

However, the food was for Charity and he'd stopped to pick up some last minute things; just in case. He'd dropped the toys, clothing and food off in the pile before going to explore the building. Just dropping things off and running seemed to be in bad taste to him at least. So the Squire was more than willing to stay and mingle a little bit.

Of course there were faces he didn't know, he'd expected that, and of course he'd also noticed Polaris but she looked a bit busy so he meandered away from her so as not to distract her. He'd worry about talking to her later but he found a place to stand that he could keep an eye on her in case something did happen. He stood with his hands behind his back watching the crowd, occasionally saying a passing hello to someone to try and keep a friendly look on his face. He occasionally reached up to adjust his hat in a manner that could have been mistaken as a nervous gesture.

Most of Bimini's focus had been on the civilian side of the food drive. His arcade had been an official drop place and he'd been trying his darndest to collect as much as he could manage without shelling out himself. It was good for business after all... And if he actually got more then any other group well.. he'd totally be on the news and get some really good publicity for that.

However... his sense of charity wasn't completely lost in his own selfishness. So in an effort to make Camelot and his fellow Knights of Destiny proud Corey Boone had taken a grocery bag full of cans from his collection and brought it just for this occassion.

The Cosmos squire did not worry about being particularly quiet or secretive as he found the building, calling out pleasantly pretty much as soon as he'd entered. "Heyyy Bimini here! Bringing the goodies."

A wide and familiar grin was plastered to his face, and he was quick to patter over to the growing can pile. If they had more he'd totally be tempted to start building a castle of cans. For now though he just pulled out his cans one by one, adding them to the spiraling stack before stepping back to admire his little donation.

After fiddling with his cans for awhile, and glancing around to see if anyone else was bringing more that he could play with and stack up, the squire got up, brushing down and fussing with the fabric of his robes and sash.

Despite the desire to talk to.. like everyone.. because that was the kind of chatty Cathy that he was, Bimini couldn't stay around as long as he might have liked to. He only had his lunch break's worth of time to spend, and the trip from the arcade to the edge of town took a little longer then he might have hoped. Oh the sadness of being an adult with a job.

He lingered as long as he could manage though stopping to introduce himself here and there to unfamiliar faces. And a lot of them were quite unfamiliar, Bimini it seemed did not get around as much as he might hope to. Next time he'd have to make more time to hang around like he scheduled time off for Knights of Destiny meetings. Having almost a dozen other knights to rely on was awesome.. but it seemed that that group didn't even begin to touch the true numbers he might be able to work with if the senshi felt as open to meeting him as he was to them.

He noticed Niflhel in his rounds and offered him a brief and pleasant "Heyyy. Good to see you here." along with a perhaps too friendly arm patting before he continued on. Tossing around a few more hellos, he finally ducked out.

Good deed done, a few new introductions, and still enough time to get back to work on time. It had been a pretty productive day, maybe he'd even be inspired enough to go patrolling tonight.

For a while, Ganymede simply stood and stared at the unattractive façade of the old, crumbling warehouse. He was tempted to turn back around the minute he saw it. This had to be a joke. Someone had sent him the wrong directions on his phone, and he was about to walk into the middle of a crack house.

It wasn’t until he noticed people wandering in and out—and took a moment to register that, yes, those power signatures belonged to other senshi and knights—that Ganymede consented to finish his approach. That didn’t mean he didn’t turn his nose up at the derelict building. Because he did. Growing up on the wrong side of town didn’t mean he was comfortable waltzing into abandoned buildings. It meant he knew to stay well enough away.

Ganymede entered cautiously, examining his surroundings and sweeping his gaze over the people already congregating inside. He almost didn’t recognize anyone, except for one or two who’d been involved in the Gladiator Tournament, but he was still a bit humiliated by the meltdown he’d had after his final match, when he’d sulked off like the biggest sore loser on the face of the planet, and he didn’t know them very well aside from that, so for the moment he kept his distance.

He carried a large cardboard box with him. He’d neglected to collect much over the holiday season, but he’d been busy dancing and sorting out his own life, and he thought that was excuse enough. At least he’d come now. And he’d managed to bring a decent amount of donations—some food, some old toys of Peter’s that were still in good condition, some clothes he’d grabbed from his closet that he rarely wore anymore. He set everything down in their appropriate piles, brushing his hands off as he did so in a sign of success.

Satisfied, he turned to decide what to do now. The way he saw it, he had three options—one, he could leave, but that seemed rather heartless and lazy, and while he didn’t care if he ever made much of a name for himself, he was determined to at least be dependable; two, he could actually try talking to someone, and while this probably would have been the option he’d chosen had he not been powered, given that he felt much more comfortable as himself and not as Ganymede, the thought of attempting to strike up a conversation with senshi he barely knew made him feel decidedly awkward; and three, he could stand by himself in a corner.

Which is what he did, with his arms crossed over his chest, nose in the air, and a look of distaste stuck firmly in place on his face, hoping this didn’t turn out to be a disaster.

"I always hate it when everyone is powered up like this," Valhalla grumbled once he drew closer to one of the few people he recognized. He hadn't realized that Ganymede of all people was going to be there, but he wasn't upset about it. It was always good to see a friendly face (or kind of stuck up and uninterested in Ganymede's case), especially when things tended to get rather competitive when Senshi and Knights were involved. "You'd think we'd attract every Nega in the city with how many of us there are," he continued, shaking his head in disbelief as he left Ganymede's side to take his own bags of presents over to the piles.

It wasn't much. For one, he was busy doing other things during the month, and two, he usually gave his Christmas presents to his church, rather than leave them in a warehouse that was probably infested with rats. He was pretty certain that the Guardian Cats did not hunt down mice. At least he knew Zia would never.

"What pile is this?" he mumbled, talking mostly to himself as he tried to determine what present went were. He'd spotted Bimini on his way in, but it didn't seem as though the other knight was planning on staying for long. He thought he saw another page, Niflhel, whom he'd met briefly before, the same time he'd met Bimini.

"Why would someone do this?? Look at this. They're crushing the bows. I mean, yeah they can pile up easier like this, but come on, at least do it in a way so the bows don't look like s**t when they're delivered to the kids!" Valhalla didn't bother glancing over his shoulder to see if Ganymede had followed him over to the piles of presents, figuring that he was either heard, or just talking to himself. Regardless, the page still knelt down to start straightening up the boxes, not wanting them to get damaged in any way.

Why they were at an abandoned warehouse was another topic all together.

There were a few people already there by the time Athene made it to the warehouse. There was a somewhat awkward moment as the bead senshi tried to juggle the carrier bags he was carrying – the handles on the carrier bag one of the bags – had started to split en route and it had been somewhat of an act to keep the tins from falling out and maybe denting. It was with some relief therefore that the dark-haired senshi made his way over to the mountain of donated tins and started to carefully add his set of tins to the pile. It was nothing special, just a few different varieties of soup, as buying just tomato soup had seemed kind of boring.

Of the other two bags, one held some dried food a few packets of noodles and a small bag of rice, while the last held his personal favourite – a medium dog plushie that he'd spotted on offer and hadn't been able to resist buying. The last of his week's allowance, what was left over after buying the food, had gone on buying it. Okay a bit of a splurge – well okay maybe a bit splurge – at least it was for a good cause though.

After seeing that some of the others had had the same idea, Athene carefully placed the plushie with the other toys and went to stack the bag with the noodles and rice with the other non-canned food stuffs. On the way between piles he noticed Sailor Polaris and paused to give his fellow team mate and captain a friendly greeting before continuing on his way to drop off his dried food stuff. That done the dark-haired senshi had a look around to see if there were any other familiar faces amongst the people around.

Character name: Acubens
Will you be able to actually post and participate actively in the rp: Yup!
Link to a rp done during Dec x

Acubens’ knuckles were white around the bag of new things she’d brought. Unlike the food drive, which she had only been in to win with the added benefit of karma points, Acubens felt that this needed to be done. She had done virtually no good as a senshi since she’s awakened. Sure, she’d dusted a few young youma, but her only fight with a nega had sent her squealing home. Her tail would have been between her legs had the b***h not torn it off and handed it back to her. The memory made Acubens’ stomach boil with a mixture of embarrassment and anger.

No. Acubens could not focus on that tonight. She would not. This night would be her penance. Her second chance. If it killed her, Acubens was going to do good and have a damn good time doing it.

The door to the warehouse was already open, signaling the festivities had since begun. Acubens slunk in, trying not to draw attention to herself. Oh god, what was she doing here? There were senshi here who were so much more powerful than she was. They knew their place in this world, they knew what they were supposed to do. And her Acubens was, caught between Chaos and Order and tearing herself apart to try and figure out which one was meant for her.

There she went again. Why did Acubens always have to ruin what would be wonderful times with her constant worrying? She’d die of a heart attack before she was thirty.

The generous pile of gifts was set off to the left, and Acubens figured it was a good way to stall before she had to talk to anyone. She made a beeline for it before anyone saw her. Granted, the beads from the corn rows Keren had given her pretty much acted like cow bells. A few senshi turned to look at her. Acubens blushed deeply and apologized, trying to ignore the good natured laughter as she skittered away.

Acubens was proud of her purchases. She really was. The staples were the Mane six, all adorned with little bags around their necks with related goodies inside. Rarity held a purple back with costume jewelry and make up. Twilight Sparkle had a pink bag filled with a magic wand pen, glitter glue of various cool colors, and some lavender colored note pads. Pinkie Pie had a blue sack with a cupcake scented candle, candy scented body mist, and various fun candies. Apple Jack had a brown bag with a candy apple and some apple printed gardening gloves. Fluttershy had a yellow bag with a white bunny plush and some butterfly stickers inside. Rainbow Dash had a white bag filled with a stuffed turtle and a rainbow scarf.

After depositing the gifts with satisfaction, Acubens turned to the rest of the group. No more stalling. The first senshi Acubens saw had to be eternal. Besides the tell tale wings adorning her rear, Acubens noticed her long white hair, done up in ornate braids and buns. With her bare midriff Acubens passed judgment on her was stunning and decided, as she looked down at her simple, tattered fuku, that she had effectively intimidated the s**t out of her without even looking her way. Acubens would have to work up the courage to talk to her.

The next one Acubens noticed was a boy. Oh thank god, a boy. Acubens could talk to boys. And with his metal armor, she decided that he had to be a knight. Or at least some level thereof. She grinned brightly and began to make her way over to him. And then she noticed where he was looking. At the beautiful Eternal. Nope. Talking to him meant eventually talking to her. Acubens stopped her motion of waving and turned right on her heel away from the both of them. No way no how was she making a fool of herself tonight.

Bimini made Acubens jump. She was so on edge with everyone around that she let out an audible yelp when he spoke. The Senshi and knights around her stopped speaking and looked at her curiously. She covered her mouth with her hands, as if to keep any ther sounds from escaping, and looked at them all. Oh, she almost cried. She apologized breathlessly and dashed forward, head down, to hide her fierce blush. Oh god, this was a horrible idea. Acubens had no idea how to deal with people, let alone people with more authority than she had.

Panic rising, she could feel her tears heating her eyes. Oh god, this was a horrible decision. Nope. Can’t do this. Acubens turned to leave, three seconds away from calling on her attack to get her out of there as fast as possible.

So focused on her retreat was she, however, that she hadn’t noticed the senshi in red conversing with the knight in green and brown. She cried out again as she collided with her, hiding her face in her hands and sobbing out apologies over and over. That was it. She’d done it. This was another senshi with more power than she did and this girl was going to show Acubens what happened to stupid little girls who played with things they shoulder.

“Oh god, oh I’m so sorry.” She looked up, pleading her apology to the… not girl? She stopped sobbing, face turning from horror to deep confusion. Boy, not girl. Under normal circumstanced Acubens wou;dn’t have trouble with this realization. Oh, alright. What’s next on todays agenda? But her mind was so fogged with panic and the need to be alone that her mind just went blank. No information. No previous experience in this field… ahh… off her a chip? Wait, I don’t have any chips. Ahh…

She looked to the other boy for help, figuring she’d get none. Alexij? By his eyes alone she would have mistaken him for her brother. Something else for her temporarily handicapped brain to puzzle out. Brother? Not brother… but… eyes… did he steal them from him? Well, get them back! Wait… that doesn’t make sense…

“Mmm…” Acubens’ lips narrowed into a thin line as her eyes welled up again. s**t… she was done for. She hunched over serverly, arms crossed over her stomach, trying to protect her vulnerable organs, and back away. “Sorry,” she repeated over and over… it was fast becoming her mantra.

Get out. Acubens’ rarely used attack was on the tip of her tongue. Velociraptor Dash. Two words and she was gone. It was a straight shot for the door, and that was open. She could make it.

(Sorry it's so long... I wanted to make sure everyone got included...

Ganymede was very happy to see Valhalla. Oh, yes, indeed he was. Val made everything better because he was Val and because Val was his boyfriend. Ganymede went a bit starry-eyed at the thought and let a few happy fantasies containing silken sheets and fine wine—“sparkling grape juice,” Chris’s goody-goody voice corrected him in his subconscious—swirl around in his head before remembering that there were other people around and he didn’t want to look like an idiot.

Well… no more than he already did.

He followed Val back toward the mountain of donations, uncrossing his arms as he did so because he no longer felt quite so awkward and didn’t think there was any need to stand so defensively. His face even smoothed out a little bit, his expression growing less stuck up and more cheerful. Just not too cheerful. He wouldn’t want anyone to get the wrong idea and think he actually liked this place. Because he didn’t. He just liked his current company.

“As someone who didn’t get a lot of presents when he was younger, I can tell you whoever’s getting those probably isn’t going to care what the packaging looks like,” Ganymede replied, grabbing onto Val’s arm to drag him up and stop him from fretting over the state of the donations. “Honestly, you are so a**l about some things.”

He paused to giggle to himself immaturely, though he wondered if Valhalla would get it if he noticed. If he did, he’d probably just frown at him and tell him to save it for later. Or pretend as if he hadn't heard him.

In any case, Ganymede found himself being ran into before he could say anything else, and he turned to stare at the senshi with the corn rows as she… what was she doing? He couldn’t tell if she was trying to melt into the ground and disappear or if she was going to be sick. He watched her to try and decide which seemed more likely. When she leaned over with her arms around her stomach he assumed the worst, and he took a cautious step back while scrunching up his face in disgust.

“Sorry, but if you’re going to puke, would you mind doing it over there?” he said, pointing to some far off corner where he wouldn’t have to hear her retching. “I kind of like my boots free of chunkage, thanks.”

Acubens looked up at the red senshi. Teasing. Well, what Acubens chose to percieve as teasing. If only for her own sanity. Alright, teasing she could deal with. Alexij teased her ruthlessly and she teased him just as mercilessly back. This she could work with. The senshi's words, be they teasing or not, were better for Acubens' panic than any words of kindness ever could. She strightened up a little and forced herself to smile. If Acubens smiled she knew it would soon enough become a real smile.

"Something tells me," she ventured carefully, looking up at the boy before her, "that a little vomit might make them a little better." Her voice held no malice, and her light hearted smile should have protected her from any mis understanding. "But no, I'm... I'm not going to be sick. At least not yet..." She looked around at the senshi and knights who had since chosen to ignore her panic-srticken scene making. "I'm just... not really good in crowds. I get a little paniced."

As she predicted, Acubens' smile soon became real. She straighened up the rest of the way, finally at home with herself now that she'd found some boys to talk to. She held out her hand, still shaking, to the senshi and introduce herself formally. "I'm Sailor Acubens. Sailor Senshi of Velociraptors." Granted, she really had no idea how to introduce herself to other senshi. Europa and Kallichore had done this when they introduced themselves to her. She simply took the example from the eternals. "Sorry about bumping into you. I was just looking for a way out."
PostPosted: Thu Jan 05, 2012 1:36 pm

Niflhel smiled at Bemini and returned the greeting, as pleasantly as he could. "Congrats on your power up, and we'll have to patrol together sometime." Niflhel said as the Cosmos knight passed him. He wasn't about to keep him because it seemed Bemini was in a bit of a hurry. So once the other squire left, Niflhel's eyes had went back keeping a watchful eye on Polaris.

He had flinched slightly when he'd heard a yelp but unlike some of the others he didn't bother looking to see who'd done it. He was scanning to make sure there wasn't any negaverse officers around. It was when he was satisfied things hadn't gone to hell in a hand basket that he continued his watchful eye.

---

Hug-bell had brought a small sack of presents, it was thrown over her shoulder and she was carrying it around like Santa would his own stash of presents. The child grinned and waved to both Ganymede and Valhalla. As she opened her present package and started pulling out neatly wrapped packages in different types of paper, some where care bears, others were ponies. Even some were wrapped in Tomas the Tank engine. Each had age and gender appropriate items in them.

When she finished she'd heard Acubens mention wanting a way out. The child in the teddy bear hood pointed towards the way she came in. "Out's that way." She wasn't sure why the older senshi didn't remember the way she'd come in.

Lifting his brows at the other senshi’s abrupt change in demeanor, Ganymede stared down at the hand she eventually extended toward him. He wondered if he really wanted to take it. It would be the polite thing to do, of course, but he wasn’t good at this whole conversing-with-other-senshi thing. His track record wasn’t exactly the best, considering all of his spats with Kallichore—minor and major alike—and his little tiff with the royals up at the Surrounding. He was pretty sure half of the conversations he’d ever had with any of these people had ended up turning into an argument of some sort.

“Super Sailor Ganymede, Senshi of… Lust,” he said. For some reason, he always felt sort of awkward divulging his powers to people. Partly because it was relatively useless, and partly because it tended to give people certain impressions of him that may or may not be true. Once upon a time he wouldn’t have cared, but when he actually wanted people to take him seriously it could be a bit of a pain.

“Of the Jovian Court,” he decided to add. He thought it might help his introduction sound a bit more legitimate, and hopefully distract her from the fact that he had an awkward sphere.

Of course, Velociraptors was pretty random.

Except they were fast.

And they had claws.

Somewhere deep inside, Ganymede was slightly—not very, but slightly—jealous.

“That’s Valhalla, Page of Jupiter, also of the Jovian Court,” he continued after a brief pause, finally taking Acubens’ hand as he motioned to the page in question with a jerk of his head. As he did so, he took the time to look the other senshi over to examine her outfit.

He decided his was prettier.

Ganymede paused again when he caught sight of one of the little senshi—one of the ones he always seemed to see pop up during gatherings like this, though he couldn’t for the life of him remember if he’d ever gotten her name. He remembered that he liked her, though. She and the orange haired one were helpful.

“Like the little one said, the door’s that way if you’re serious about leaving,” he replied, letting go of Acudens’ hand and using it to wave to Hug-Bell once the obligatory shake had been performed. “I’m not that great with this sort of crowd either. Not that I panic. I’m just too opinionated for my own good, I guess. You can ask anyone. Actually, you can’t, ‘cause I don’t know a lot of people, but the ones who do know me can confirm that.”
PostPosted: Thu Jan 05, 2012 2:22 pm

Valhalla ignored Ganymede's immature giggling, rolling his eyes only half way before deciding it wasn't worth it and to just pretend as though he'd never heard. Yeah, he could be a stick in the mud about a lot of things, but he thought they'd all grown out of silly comments like that. Then again, if he was maybe a little less stressed (he always seemed to be stressed when it came to 'powered' business), then maybe he would have found it amusing... but not right now.

He allowed himself to be pulled to his feet, although he kept glancing over the presents and almost completely missed the senshi that had run into Ganymede. At least not until he heard something about vomit...

The word prompted him to make a face and turn to see just who was talking about getting sick on Ganymede's shoes. A senshi of Velociraptors?

"Really??" he sputtered unintentionally. It wasn't an impressed comment, but one of utter exasperation. Did they really have a senshi of Velociraptors?? What the hell else was out there? Senshi of Cabbage, maybe?

And then he caught sight of the Chibi Senshi known as Hug-Bell and decided he probably shouldn't be so surprised when a Senshi of Cabbage showed up...

"Nice to meet you," he greeted finally, lifting a hand and turning to face the senshi, although he spared a glance around the abandoned warehouse for any sign of something amiss. Ganymede was taking care of introductions, so he could spend a little more time making sure the Negaverse didn't suddenly pick up on the massive energy signal and jump down to steal presents or, you know, maybe kill them.

Paranoid? Maybe. He'd gotten to meet some of the Negaverse on friendly terms, but the one who had almost impaled him through the face with her spear still had him quite wary.

He didn't blame the senshi for not knowing which way was out. It was a warehouse, sure, but the inside looked the same from all sides. Even he might have gotten confused about which way was which... if he didn't have a decent sense of direction, one that he'd apparently grown in to.

"Usually people don't start with their flaws when meeting others, just a hint," he pointed out to Ganymede, teasingly of course, and he quickly held his hands up in the air at chest height as thought to plea 'innocent'. "But no, I'm not a fan of crowds, either. Bad things happen. Usually. I wish we could do this all unpowered, but..." he glanced over to Ganymede, expecting him to nag about being too carefree with his identity. But maybe that was why the senshi were so disorganized... because they weren't required to know each other's identity and trust each other... He was almost positive the Negaverse and DMC had everyone throw in their identities for the others to know... Or at least they should if they didn't. Easier to track and all.

Luckily for his company, he kept his thoughts to himself instead of rambling them out loud. He would have in high school, but he was growing out of it.

The littler senshi caught Acuben's attention then. Out? Oh, Acubens understood. "Er... no. I'm fine now. I just had a moment where I thought I was going to lose it. But now that I'm over to the side with a smaller group, I'm better." She grinned at the smaller senshi and offered her her hand. "I'm Acubens. Senshi of Velociraptors. It's a pleasure to meet you." Eternal. Acubens recognized the wings on her back. Could children even be eternal, let alone senshi? It seemed really dangerous. But, if she was eternal, this child must have known what she was doing.

"Oh," Acubens chuckled to Ganymede, "between my temper and the way I tend to argue myself in circles about useless things, people tend to stay away from me too." Another bright grin. Yes, she was very much more herself around boys. Even boys in transition like Ganymede seemed to be. Meeting him took her back to her days in Iowa, where she was born. Oh, she missed it there, hanging out daily at the GSA "head quarters", which was really just a transitional's basement. Alana. Formerly Alan, and one of the prettiest women Acubens had ever met. And one of her best friends. Something in her stomach twisted with sadness as she thought about her friend. She missed her dearly, even though they chatted online and skyped daily.

Acubens' eyes lit up at the mention of Ganymede's sphere. While she may have thought it random, Acubens thought it creative. "Lust? Oh, those attacks much be so spectacular! Such a tricky sphere, it must be hard to master." I was then that Jovians caught Acubens' attention. "Jovians? My mentor, Europa is of the Jovians. She'd been trying to get me to join since we met. I just have some stuff to figure out first."

As Valhalla spoke, Acubens felt her aformentioned temper sparking to life. "Yeah," she retorted defensivley. She may not have been happy about her senshi side, but it was her now, whether she liked it or not. Her Fuku had even stopped burning her where it touched. And this boy was insulting it. Acuben's eyes narrowed and her lips thinned sevrely. She knew from body language was the two boys were together, and she may very well alienate Ganymede with her reaction, but Acubens had yet to control her temper. She eyes Valhalla's hand angrilly and gritted her teeth to gether. Be mature, Alexij whispered into her ear. Take his hand and be an adult. She growled and gripped Valhalla's hand too hard and shook it once before she threw it down. "Speaking of flaws, do you usually go around insulting spheres of senshi you justy meet?"
