Personality: Mizu is a rather crass young woman; stubborn, willful, and a touch sarcastic, she nonetheless has a good heart. She has no issue saying her mind, and doesn't care who she offends with her statements. She is bold, yet incredibly loyal. Once her friendship is given, it is unshakable. She also has a soft spot for those weaker than her, often being highly protective of children and shyer girls. She has a "go get 'em" attitude and can often come across as a bit of a b***h.

Bio: Mizu was born in the slums of a rather prosperous world. She never learned what her world was called, nor did she really much care. She was orphaned at a young age, and taken in by a gang of thieves. There she learned the art of pick-pocketing, as well as several other ways to part people with their goods. She was one of the lucky street-urchins in the fact that the gang leader cared deeply about all of her "children," and was a good woman despite her profession. Mizu rarely went hungry, as the gang leader, named Terra (no relation to the teacher), always made sure they had enough coin in savings to get at least some sort of a meal. One member of the thieves, a boy named Nathan, taught her how to fight, and since all they could get their hands on were a pair of knives, that was the style she learned. Nathan also taught her "street fighting," what anyone else would call fighting dirty. Nathan also taught her a secret he learned before he joined Terra's gang; that secret is the reason for the scars on her right wrist. He taught her of a pact called "blood brotherhood," where two people would nick their wrists and clasp hands so that their blood mingled, and swear themselves siblings. Mizu swore blood-brothers with Nathan and a few other friends in the guild.

One day, about three years ago, Mizu was found by one of the teachers at Kingdom Academy. She has just completed a successful theft and was sharing her bounty with some of the less-fortunate street urchins. The teacher had seen some of Mizu’s abilities, as well as her generous nature, and offered her the opportunity to be housed, fed, and schooled. Mizu readily accepted, though she asked if there was anything that could be done for her guild mates. The teacher could make no promises, but did manage to talk to Terra and find a few homes for the younger children without parents, some jobs for the older children who could conceivably live on their own, and found a couple of other children fit for the school as well.

At the school, Mizu found herself as a bit of a misfit. So many students were bright, well-mannered, and used to the comparative luxury. Even her roommate seemed to be distant from her. For awhile, Mizu went through her classes rather lonely, until she met Chip and Dale. Seeing her depression and loneliness, they latched onto her and haven’t left her side ever since. They tend to get her into a lot of trouble, however...

Personality: Zikomo is a very kind hearted person and treats those around her with the respect they deserve. Around those who know her more intimately she can be very fun loving and goofy socially, but academically she is highly competitive. She strives for the highest marks, aspiring to be the best of the best at school and on the front line. Defeat by a more skilled or intelligent opponent does not make her despair however, it makes her work harder, even to the point of obsession. As a training assassin she tries to not get her heart in the way of certain matters, but with her good nature she can feel a lot of guilt, even if she never lets on to how she feels.

Bio: Zikomo was born and raised in Narnia. Her parents were members of the Royal Guard and she grew up watching them training and escorting Narnian royalty, dreaming of the day when she could do the same. When she was 11 her parents volunteered to join the troop being sent to the warfront by the King. For six agonizing months she waited for their return. Finally they did, but not in the way she had anticipated. Nearly half of the troop came back in coffins, her mother being one of them. Of those who came back alive only a fourth were uninjured. Losing her mother was devastating, and her father’s injuries were too serious for her father to ever be able to work on the guard again. It wasn’t long after that when she met Morph, her Galiant. His friendship and companionship comforted her when she needed it most, and furthermore his nature opened up a new avenue of abilities and prospect class for her. Once she started attending the Academy she started honing her stealth skills, and on her summers off she worked for and learned from the more secret (and less used) companies of the Royal Guard. Wanting to make her parents proud and make a difference on the frontline fueled her study habits, training, and perfectionism.

Bio: Rebecca was born into the upper class life in Agrabah. She was treated with the life of luxury until one day she was walking through Agrabah and the Forty Thieves attacked and raided Agrabah. In the midst of the chaos Rebecca came face to face with some of the men. It was at this point she was kidnapped , along with the treasure and other kids, back to the hideout of the Thieves. It was there that she met Iago before being trapped and locked away inside of the hideout for a year. During this year she became close to Iago and learned some of his tricks.

After that year she woke up one day she and the rest of the kids were all taken out of their cages and were going to be sold off to slavery. Some of the thieves had decided to get a little rough with some of the kids and even beat up Rebecca to put her in her place. When Rebecca hit the ground a ray of light suddenly appeared in her right hand and a war machete took form. With her new weapon Rebecca stood up and faced off with the thieves and defeated most of them.

She then discovered while escaping that Iago did not want to be a thief anymore and they both ran to Kingdom Academy after making sure the kids got back home to their families. For her first year she discovered her love of the library along with her love of books but was shy because of the experience that she went through with her past. She now dreams of discovering more knowledge and also making friends along the way.

Personality: Arguably, the most defining trait of Garret’s personality is his laid back attitude. Things that are problems for other students at the academy are frequently met with a sarcastic quip and an insistence that said problem just isn’t that big of a deal. When other students will study for a test, he’ll be napping, reading something completely unrelated to the subject matter, or bickering with his Galiant over whose idea of “fun” is better.

This isn’t to say that Garret is stupid, as the reality is quite the opposite. Garret is an incredibly intelligent person, but his terrible work ethic and lack of any real drive to truly apply himself to areas that don’t immediately catch his interest prevent him from excelling, much to the ire of his teachers. Not that he really cares.

This iconoclastic nature has made him a fairly popular figure as a kind of low key class clown, but at the same time, he remains very much an enigma. Garret has many acquaintances, but very few people that he considers true friends and he prefers to keep it that way, being a private person by nature. Despite this, Garret can be a surprisingly kindhearted and loyal friend to those who do manage to earn his trust, though even then, he won’t reveal everything about himself to them.

Garret is a very naturally perceptive person and it is this perceptiveness that drives his greatest fears and hidden anxieties. While unsure of the exact details, Garret has been able to piece together that the staff are hiding something about the war from the students. It is this thought that hangs over Garret daily, as he knows that he, along with everyone else at the Academy could very well be training for a war that they have no real hope of winning.

Overall, Garret is a complex individual who can be rather hard to pin down personality wise. While his laid back, blunt, and cynical nature can be a true pain to deal with, he is none the less a kindhearted person who wants to make the most out of both his and his friends lives. Lives, he fears, that could soon be cut very, very short.

Likes: Napping, flying, reading, target practice, cold weather, puzzles
Dislikes: Being lied to, abuse of power and authority, war in general, over exerting himself (He has a very broad take on the last one)
Fears: Death, The War.

Weapon: Twin Arrowguns . These guns can combine into a rifle that shoots more powerful rounds at the cost of speed.
Abilities:
  • Falcon’s Eye- Garret’s natural eye sight is almost inhumanly sharp, allowing him to pull off more accurate shots and better gage his opponents movements.
  • Glide - Garret can suspend himself in the air and fly around for a brief period of time
  • Aerobic Glide- An upgraded form of glide that allows Garret to remain suspended in air for an extended period of time and perform actions as if he were on the ground such as firing his weapons and casting.
  • Uncanny Dodge – Garret can reflexively dodge attacks far easier than most people.
  • Hi Jump

Spells:
  • Aero – A basic wind magic spell, summons up a small whirlwind that blasts enemies into the air, damaging them
  • Aerora – An advanced wind magic spell, summons up a more powerful whirlwind that also has more of a disorienting effect on its target.
  • Stop – Freezes an enemy in place for a brief period of time.
  • Shadow Stalk – Garret separates his shadow from his body and sends it after an opponent. Acting as a tracer and debuff once it makes contact with the enemy, the shadow both allows Garret to more accurately place his shots while simultaneously lowering the enemies defense by two points
  • Storm’s Eye – A small cyclone surrounds Garret for a brief period of time, deflecting weaker attacks and reducing the damage taken by more powerful ones. It will also knock enemies who are too close to him away when initially cast.

Bio: Garret always says that he was the product of a weird union, his father being a doctor and his mother a weapons designer. As such, he got acquainted at a very young age with both the most awe inspiring and bloody aspects of the war. It may have been this dichotomy that caused Garret to grow up the way he did, or maybe it was just his own nature. None the less, from a young age, Garret became a hassle, constantly questioning authority figures, not fitting in with kids his own age and simply preferring to spend his time in relative isolation from other people. His parent’s honestly did try to work with him and get him to fit in, but war kept them busy, so Garret was mostly left to his own devices for most of his childhood, spending it relatively alone and simply coasting through life as an almost nonexistent presence in his community.

This meant that when he started disappearing for periods at a time at around age ten, at first, hardly anyone noticed or cared. Eventually though, the stretches of time became long enough that his parents became concerned and asked him about just where he had been running off to from sunrise to sunset. Garret stated that he had made a friend, Peter, who had been encouraging him to skip out on his “boring” life and play with him. While initially ecstatic that their son had finally made a friend, after a while Garret’s parents began to question whether “Peter”, was real or not, as the two were never seen together, the other boy’s apparent dislike of adults, and the stories how he could detach his own shadow and fly seemed almost too outlandish to believe.

Eventually, this anxiety came to a head when Garret’s parents told him that, unless they could actually meet with Peter, Garret would not be allowed to play with him anymore. The heated arguing that ensued eventually led to Garret running out of the house in a fit, only to be followed by his parents. It was then that finally, the two met “Peter”, who as turns out, was in fact a child who could never grow up that seemed to have formed a brotherly bond with the child how had grown up too fast.

While Garret and Peter’s friendship continued, it turned out that their bond went a lot deeper than either of them could have expected, as Garret started to be able to pull off some of Peter’s tricks, even being able suspend himself in flight for short periods of time. These traits were eventually noticed by some friends of the family, who recommended that Garret and Peter be sent to a special school where they could hone their abilities.

The adjustment from relatively free roaming lifestyle to Academy life became an interesting transition for the both of them, but Peter in particular found it down right agonizing at times. Throughout his first two years, Garret developed an aversion to homework and studying, a love of flight, and in general has become a more outgoing, if sarcastic individual, who has managed to garner some fame on campus. Coming into his third year, Garret is mostly just hoping that the increased course load doesn’t cut into his sleep schedule, but a small part of him hopes that he’ll be find answers to questions that have been plaguing him about the war since he arrived.

Bio: Arty's home planet is a very different world, one eternally set in the Roaring Twenties. Organized crime goes toe to toe with the police all the time, shootings are commonplace as speakeasies and wise guys. It was the world he was born into, learning quickly if you want to be successful, you have to be smart and ruthless. Arc was raised in the 'family', being trained to be a serious leader and effective criminal. He started at a young age, stealing things from stores and working his way up to robbing banks with the other adults and even the occasional beating of someone who wronged the family. He wasn't effective at harming someone severely, but he followed along so he could grow up to become the boss. When he was eight, he discovered his Galiant, Jack Skellington, when we was walking with the family to visit a fallen comrade in the graveyard. The two became quickly inseperable, and Arty quickly learned how to use his own brand of fire spells that were blue in color. He would move on to go to a school for young people like himself with Galiants. He quickly excelled, constantly fighting for the top spot with other talented students. Jack would be by his side, helping him however possible as well as trying to teach Artemis how to control his ego and be a good person. The young man has taken some of Jack's teachings to heart, but others he finds more morally flexible.

Personality: Damien typically a quiet and focused young man who is very dedicated to the task at hand. He is stubborn and determined to the point that it is a fault. He knows show respect where it is due, especially to those who are superior to him. He can sometimes have a bit of a temper. However, he does his best to keep it under control. Around friends and those he cares about he can be quite silly and random at times. He also never hesitates to lend a hand when he is able to.

When the side of darkness began to get the upper hand in the war, his brother and father both left to join the efforts of the Kingdom of Light. Damien was 12 at the time and never saw either of them again as they were both killed on the battlefield. Damien ran away from home to join the war effort and avenge his father and brother. When he arrived at the Spaceport for the Gummi ships he met his Galiant to be Jim Hawkins, accompanied by Morph. Before he could leave though Morph rushed off and ran into Zikomo, who had come to the Spaceport to look for help for her dad. Jim volunteered to help her and they returned to her father in Narnia. There Damien saw the effects and aftermath of the war. With Jim and Zikomo's help, he came to the decision to return back to his mother to help her until the time was right.

After helping Ziko's father, Jim and Damien returned to Montressor. Morph remained with Ziko to help her and keep her company and would eventually become her gallant as Jimmy had become Damien's. Damien's chance to prove himself would come one year later when he received the invitation to the Kingdom Academy to learn how to fight. He has been attending the school since and is now into his final year preparing for his chance to fight for the Kingdom of the Light.

Bio: Ferven hails from the 'Yama Hills', a decently modernized world. Once a part of the dark kingdom, it was liberated by the light kingdom, then became neutral(with a small leaning towards the light kingdom). It's a cold world, snow year round, causing it to be treated as a sort of 'holiday retreat/ski resort' world.

He was raised well, and eventually headed to Kingdom Academy to not only go for schooling, but also to help out the best way he could: Fighting. His Galiant, Cheshire Cat, or CC for short, didn't make it easy for him, but he managed to at least figure out how to make the Galiant's fun-loving and mischievous personality work in his favor...for the most part.

Has been at KA for longer than he should have been. It's not lacking the potential, but lacking the drive to push forward(on top of his fear of failing bigger things), so he just settles whenever he 'accidentally' reaches a new level in something without really trying.

Personality: Shy and withdrawn personality. She tends to stay away from a large group of people. She can come off as cold and uncaring when someone approaches her. Serenity just doesn't like people in general, having been secluded from them all her life. She has a soft spot for animals though. Mainly little cats. Serenity is usually found reading or working on her gymnastics and dance.

Bio: Serenity grew up on a small world, Terriana, where she was secluded much as a child. She was raised on a small farm as an only child. She didn't have any friends except for the animals she helped to take care of. Her mother helped to teach her the basics of reading, writing and math. When she wasn't working on these she would often times go somewhere secluded and practice her dance and some minor gymnastics. It was one day when she was by the river she found her Galiant, Marie, by the river. The little kitten was dirty and lost. Unknowing of what Marie truly was, she took the kitten in. Soon after she got the letter of acceptance to Kingdom Academy. With reluctant encouragement from her family, she left her home and took her place in the school.

Personality: Upon meeting people, Farah treats everyone in the same regard. He is polite, but cautious with his words and actions. Until they have proven that they are worth his respect and friendship, politeness and small smiles are all that are given. When he decides someone is worth his respect, he will confide in them and place trust in them, going to any lengths to help them, no matter the obstacle. However, the one thing he cannot stand is having Cassim insulted. He adores his Galiant and unless the insult is clearly a joke, he will break off friendships immediately, and turn icy towards strangers. Friends who apologize will be elevated to slightly higher than a stranger, but strangers who apologize are treated still treated rather coldly.
Farah also has a problem with authority, due in part to his childhood, part to his Galiant. He doesn’t easily take orders and he is quick to dismiss authority figures. Once again, they have to earn his trust before he’ll take the orders seriously.

  • Hawk Eyes- Taught by the King of Thieves himself, Farah now naturally observes everything going on around him to help pick out threats and targets. This also helps him in finding the quickest path to his destination and noticing hiding spots. While helpful in fights, he has trouble focusing on one single task at a time, finding his gaze wandering often.
  • Thieves Grace- Farah moves soundlessly whether walking or running.

  • Thunder- Fires a bolt of lightning at the target.
  • Lightning Rod- Farah throws one or both of his daggers and follows up with a blast of lightning that homes in on the dagger.

Bio: Farah grew up in the worst parts of Agrabah as an orphan, stealing to survive, which led to numerous encounters with the city guards. There were several close encounters, but nothing more serious than a broken bone or two. He’d attempted to get a job working as a servant for the upper class, but after being treated like garbage, he stole enough coin for a meal and left. He started to get cockier after that, robbing tourists and visitors to survive, believing himself to be uncatchable.
It was during one of these ill-planned attempts that he ended up meeting Cassim. He was expecting to be taken to the city guards and thrown in the dungeon, but the man seemed amused by his antics. Cassim ended up taking Farah along with him on his travels, revealing later that it was partially because he had just lost a friend a short while back over a slavery incident. Regardless of the reason, Farah bonded to the man, seeing him as the father he never had, especially considering he was willing to teach him what he knew.

Over the next year they grew closer and Farah grew more skilled. It was an out-of-the-blue decision of Cassim’s for Farah to go to Kingdom Academy, so that he could learn more and make friends aside from him. Ever eager to please, Farah enthusiastically went along with the plan and they headed for the Academy. As they got closer to the academy, Cassim surprised Farah with a present. Two enchanted daggers that, after he named them, would always return to him when he called. Farah thinks that they cost a fortune and is proud to own them, cleaning and shining them every night. Cassim tells him that they were an easy steal, but he doesn't tell him that he asked for them from Genie as a present for Farah's birthday.

Bio:

Born into adverse poverty, Frank found solace in the smaller things he could get his hands on. Free days at the museum of art, used and thrown away possessions that still worked… explosions… ya know, the whole sort. Explosions, however, were Frank’s pride and joy. His very first explosion came out of the combination of several household ingredients in his basement. One might assume that he was making meth, but rather, Frank was attempting to make an ether. After that, Frank decided to devote his life to alchemy so that he might legally and ‘accidentally’ create explosions as much as he wanted.

Years passed and his youth had left him. He retired from alchemy and ended up as a professor at the Kingdom Academy so that the youngsters would share the warmth and joy of two mixtures blowing up in their faces.

He cares deeply about others, and is generally very quick to forgive most wrongs (except wasted food, he’s very serious about that).

Bio: Rasxa grew up in the Lotus Forest, on Wonderland. He didn't really have a normal childhood, having to run from the tyrannical Queen of Hearts the whole time. Unlike most of the other denizens of Wonderland, Rasxa was or appeared to be human. From the time he could walk, Rasxa wandered around Wonderland, often running into the Cheshire Cat or walking into the Mad Hatter and the March Hare's tea party. At the tea party, Rasxa often stayed, having a lot of fun and the second time he went, Rasxa and the March Hare bonded as Keeper and Galiant, respectively. That was when The March Hare started to teach the young Rasxa, when he was ten years old. Three years later a weird ship appeared on Wonderland. A lone man came to the tea party and asked very politely for Rasxa to travel with him to a place called The Kingdom Academy. Rasxa looked to the March Hare for guidance and the March Hare gently pushed Rasxa towards the man. Smiling, Rasxa bounded after the man as he turned to go back to his strange ship. Rasxa has lived at the Academy ever since.

As a result, he’s very self-conscious and has a low self-esteem. Not the most studious person either, but he applies himself whenever he has to to make the grade. For those who actually take the time to know him, Eugene is a very kind person and would go to the ends of the world for his friends. He’s always willing to lend a helping hand, and because of this people may view him as a tool, but for Eugene, he’s just happy to have a chance to interact with someone. He’s very optimistic and hopeful and always sees the good in people, even those who give him a hard time because of his meekness. Tends to daydream often and allows his imagination to go wild. He’s very clumsy.

Bio: Eugene has been on his own for as long as he could remember. Raised in an orphanage in Twilight Town, he never knew his parents. He was never a social person and with no one to help him assimilate to the environment around him, his social life never took off, making him quite awkward to be around. As a result, he kept to himself (usually drawing or writing) and never interacted with the other kids, though that didn’t stop the other kids from interacting with him… by constantly teasing and hurting him. At the age of thirteen, while cornered in the orphanage bathroom by some of the mean children, Eugene discovered he had the ability to control water when, after being pushed to the peak of his frustration, all the toilets and sinks burst and shot water at the other boys. Soon rumors spread of his abilities. He couldn’t go anywhere without being mocked or teased or called “toilet sorcerer.” As a result, he ran away from the orphanage.

It wasn’t long after that when he met Mushu, his Galiant, who not only helped him harness his ability, but also helped his self-esteem, but it was going to take a lot more than a few years to undo thirteen years of damage.

Soon after, near his fourteenth birthday, he received an invite from the Academy. Tired of living on the streets, he took the opportunity to live in decent housing with food and new people.

Now starting his fourth year, nothing much has changed. He’s still the socially awkward person he’s been since forever and still as friendless; however, his powers have developed, though he rarely uses them out of fear of being mocked again…
