They are the first two Spanish Vocaloids for Vocaloid 3. They got a re-boot of their first designs because of backlash that they didn't look "anime" enough. A contest was made for their new designs.

How disappointing... I actually like the realistic art from FitzII (however it's spelled), the one where it showcases the full body of the duo. It screams more "voice bank" than the current winner, marketing wise, imo.

...It's not like I dislike what we got though. I actually like it, even though they seem a bit young for the voice (not like we had problems with age-matching-voice before). xD

If you read through the links, people actually sent threats of killing to the original art piece artist. neutral So, they created the Fan Art contest so that no killing was involved.
