Natural Ability: Able to change the color of an object, usually inanimate, but she can temporarily change organic creatures.


Personality:
~Jaqueline is determined. Once she puts her mind to doing something, she'll do anything it takes to get it done. She's not afraid to get down and dirty if she needs to, and resents anyone that calls her weak.
~She's not shy about her accomplishments either, she'll brag to anyone that will listen, and sometimes to those who wont. If she's doing something, and she believes someone's watching her, she'll make herself look, or at least try to, amazing while doing it. She doesn't care who you are, she knows she's awesome, and if you know it too, you're just really good at observing the obvious.
~She doesn't care who you are, or how sensitive you are, she always tells you the truth. She says what's on her mind when it's on her mind.
~No matter who you are, you'll always be able to tell what kind of mood she's in. The reason this is? Her eyes give it away. No, not because the eyes are the window into the soul. Soul? Does she even have one? Her eyes are like a mood ring, but these actually work. And you can read her if you know what the colors mean.
~She won't let you know, at least not on purpose, that she does care and feel what you do. She likes being around people, she just happens to use the wrong methods to make them like being around her.


Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
Simply put, she wants to be the best. She wants to be the leader of a club - any club, she's amazing at everything, right? She wants to get straight As in her classes - easy, right? Her parents instilled in her since birth that she's nothing but the best, and that nothing but the best is expected of her. She WILL be the best, she WILL be the most powerful, and she WILL be the most popular.


FEAR Ability:
Rainbow Projectile Acid: A spew of rainbow colored acid comes forth from, you guessed it, her mouth. It doesn't hurt much at first, but it keeps dealing damage over time.


Physical Description:

Eye Colour: RAINBOW~!
Hair Colour/Style: Very long, like, trailing on the ground, and thick. White for the colour.
Skin Colour: Pale flesh tone.
Clothing Style/Colours: A white, belted leather leotard thing, with only one sleeve, being extra long and trailing to the ground, and the other side shoulder showing. White fuzzy legwarmers starting from just below the knee and covereing white boots.

First off, I gotta say that her personality sounds interesting. C: It's always good to see a strong/determined character! I can definitely see both good and bad points in her personality, which is good--it's important to keep a balance!

Her race is interesting! I just wanted to point out that Amityville is a place for students to learn/develop skills in order to scare humans. That being said, I was curious how color demons go about doing so? A few examples of demon characters in this shop include a spider demon who can sprout legs from her back and dream/nightmare demons who can twist and devour dreams. Her natural ability is to change the color of objects, but how can this be used to terrify a human being? O:

So, after reading through your quest, I would like to raise one major concern I have. In this setting, for a creature not a minipet to come into existence, a HUGE amount of fear is needed! This means that it must be a fear/phobia that is relatively widespread - for example, bugs, drowning, failure, blood, dentist, etc. - or have a really good myth to base it on - for example, bigfoot, yeti, various youkai, grim reaper.

So, it is not about HER being not scary right now. It is about her RACE being not scary; I find it hard - and I'm speaking from a GM point of view - to understand/see how the fear of color generated enough fear to create a whole race of demons... If you are insistent on keeping her race the way it is, I would suggest doing research on myths - see if there are any myths/legends in the world that is connected to color/the use of color/etc! (:

Your example with the 'scene changes' in SH is an example that doesn't fit, unfortunately. ;; Her ability is limited to colors, while in SH, the changes in the environment are vast and varied; it is more than just about color - things peel away, grow in age, everything looks like it's covered in rust, etc. If anything, that sort of ability falls under the power of illusion, like the ability possessed by our resident kitsunes, Tomoko and Remi.

Also... Mood ring eyes. While I think some people might be able to pull that off, mood ring eyes are usually considered a Mary Sue character trait. Just putting it out there for you; not sure if you were trying to be ironic/funny, or if you were serious about it. :'D

Honestly I think a fear of color is fine. I could see that for sure o u o b.

I agree with the mood ring eyes though. That is a hard route to go down but other than that I think a color demon is a cute idea. I believe you are allowed to make up species of your own. I have an Arctic Gryphon and one of my weapons is a Were Penguin. So like. o u o b
