Profiles I was given the name Ariwara Hiroki (last name, first name). But everyone just calls me Hiro, or Roki, or Hi-kun I have seen 18 years of this world. I am obviously a male. I could only be an Seme! My apologies ladies, but I am gay. People often call me sarcastic, unbearable, impulsive, and impossible. On the flip side, I'm also fun, witty, intelligent, and inspired. Oh, and blunt. That's a big one. My life started like this: I was born to a wealthy family. My parents don't seem too interested in me as of yet, so I do as I please. I mix/compose music a lot; I play keyboard, guitar, and sing. But I can't act to save a life. I'm not even very good at lying. I'm somewhat popular with a certain crowd, and quite hated by another. Eheh, it's always been that way. Girls aren't fond of me, they think I'm too blunt because I always say exactly what's on my mind. Especially the fact that they're annoying, and loud, and I'm not interested.
I want someone to listen to me, and not brush off everything I say because I 'never take anything seriously.' I want a person who appreciates my music, because- well, I know I'm not too good at talking about myself. And I want someone who doesn't brush it off as just something I'll grow out of. Most of all, I want someone who is kind, and thoughtful, and willing to just let me hold them.
I was given the name Nakari Makamura But everyone just calls me Naka-san I have seen 17 years of this world. I am obviously a male I could only be an Seke My apologies ladies, but I am gay People often call me kind and thoughtful. I also am called adorable and funny. My life started like this, I was always a really kind child. Never crying a lot and always eating the food I was given. Then when I was a toddler, my parents would play music all the time. I started to sing along and that pleased my parents. They soon put me in acting and singing classes. Then I got to high school and everyone loved me. I was popular with all the ladies but never went out with any no matter how many loves confessions and valentines day chocolates I received. I try out for all of the plays and usually get the leading role.
I was a true prodigy in everyone's eyes but myself. I always felt alone no matter how many friends I had because no one wanted to get to know me. They only wanted my money and popularity. Now I try not to make friends and get to close to people because I know they will only hurt me in the end. I really need someone who will hold me and truely want to be with me for who I am, not for my money.

 • • • Nakari Makamura • • • It was a bright and sunny day in Oshiri. Birds were tweeting. dogs were barking. Butterflies were making whatever sounds they make. It could not have been a more perfect day. Now the teenagers at the high school could say the same. Everyone just wanted to enjoy the weather before the cooler season to come. The final bell just rang at Eastview High School. Teenagers rushed to their buses while other went to their after school activites. Teachers were on standby just in case anyone decide to cause trouble. At the play auditions, The director took his spot right in the front row while the actors and actresses flooded in. After a few minutes the director called order. "quiet everyone! Quiet!" He projected and instantly the theater was hush. He tapped his clipboard and looked at the first name signed up. A big smile crossed his face. "Nakari Makamura! Would you please start us off!" Nakari Makamura stood. He was about 5'9" with dark brown hair. His eyes were big and a crystal blue. He had a small figure but was strong despite what he looked like. "Yes sir." he replied in a dazzling tone. Girls next to him seemed to swoon as he walked to the stage. The crowd whispered until Nakari cleared his throat. "Don't you love the weather by the sea? We'll grow old together. By the sea side. By the beautiful sea. It'll be so quiet that who'll come by it..." Nakari continued his audition. He put so much emotion it almost seemed like her lived trough the events and by the end of it, the director was in tears. People clapped, the director even gave a standing ovation. Nakari smiled and sat down back in his spot. It only took about an hour more and the auditions were done. "eveyone! The cast list will be posted tomorrow after school. You are free to go." the director yelled. The teens started to leave the theater but Nakari stayed behind. He wanted to work on his homework. He could not do it at home with his parents breathing down his neck and asking how auditions went every three seconds. The last thing he needed was to hear that. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •

The day was nice, the sun was shining, and Hiro wanted no part of it. At all. He had been shut up inside all day, first in the music room and then in the theatre for auditions. Most of these people didn't know what they were doing, or were good but way too nervous. Except for...
Him. Nakari Makamura. The first one to audition.
Short and cute and adorable, Nakari could take over a stage, stealing everyone's attention and breath as they were captivated. Hiroki brushed a hand though his shaggy brown hair, his piano-playing backup to Nakari over already. Playing was awesome- being the piano player for the musical, better. But- being able to work with Nakari-
Hiro was head over heels for the guy. Nakari could sing like nobody's business, and was the least stuck-up star Hiroki had ever not-known. And he was cute. That was enough. And, if they were working together, than that gave him reason to talk to him. Score!
Mussing his longish, wavy hair back up again, Hiro grabbed his bag and rushed into the theatre seats towards Nakari. "Oi! You!" He yelled. Nakari was doing something. Homework maybe? Whatever. "I'm Hiroki Ariwara, nice ta meet cha. I'm the pianist, and you're going to get some part for sure, so I figured we ought to know each other. Ya know?" He said, sticking a hand in Nakari's direction. He was proud of his Kansai accent- he'd learned it from the nanny- but for just a second, he was embarrassed of it. He shoved it away- like Nakari would care.

 • • • Nakari Makamura • • • Nakari was only on the first problem of his calculus homework when he heard someone yelling. He quickly looked up to see a guy running at him. He assumed it was another fan. he put his math away and shook the guys hand. "My name is Nakari. Nakari Makamura. A pleasure to meet you." Nakari said formally. He usually talked that way unless he was really excited or reply mad about something. "are you new to this school? Or is this your first time performing for the theater. I don't think I have seen you around." Nakari packed up his book bag. maybe I'll just go to the library instead... he tought to himself. He did not want to be rude. "yeah. We should get to know each other and I am sure we will. The week before opening night is such a hastle and everyone has to work together. We defiantly have to be insync to make this work."Nakari looked over the male. Hiroki had dark brown hair that seemed to stay perfect even after he just ran over. His eyes almost dug into your soul and looked at every little secret you had like a book. But the thing that got Nakari the most was the boys height. Yes, Nakari knew he was short but he felt even shorter next to Hiroki. Not bad looking... Kinda cute actually... Nakari gave one of his perfect smiles and rubbed the back of his head nervously. "I don't mean to be rude... But I need to go to the library. You are welcome to join me if you would like."• • • • • • • • • • • • • • •

Hiroki wasn't put off by Nakari's formal speech. It was- well, exactly like the rest of him. Cute. He nodded to the other boy's question. "Yep, I just moved here last week," He said, before half-listening to Nakari's still polite, still formal reply about them working together. "Quite literally in sync- if one of us is off tempo we're both screwed!" Hiro added, laughing.
He couldn't help but watch as Nakari smiled and nervously rubbed at the back of his head. Nervous? Hiroki made Nakari nervous? Damn, he hoped that meant what he thought it did! Maybe, if he was really really lucky and played his cards right, he could- Nope. Nope. Friends first. Don't rush it.
"Sure, I'll go. I have no clue where it is, though, so I'll just be followin' ya, if ya don't mind." Hiro didn't want to go where he wasn't wanted- he was much too familiar and loud for most people's tastes. Especially here. In a week he'd managed to offend half of the school, it seemed like. okay, maybe just half of the homeroom class. But, whatever.

 • • • Nakari Makamura • • • Nakari giggled softly and nodded. "Yeah. They would notice If I was singing faster than the music. That would not be good. Or if I sung a b flat instead of an A minor. It would sound horrible!" Nakari could jot picture himself doing that. He would be too afraid to mess up. He slung his backpack over his back and nodded. "of course. It is no big deal." he walked out of the theater and waves to the director. "Bye sir. Have a great evening." Nakari said polietly and the director smiled. "good bye Nakari! Have a splendid night!" Nakari kept walking through the halls and to the doors. There school was spilt up into three main sections; the library and computer labs, the cafeteria, and the classrooms. They were completely separate building connected by Pathways that had roofs over them. They got outside and a few jocks bounded over to him. "hey Nakari! Why are you hanging out with that dork? Come hang with us! We don't want him to get his idiot all over you." One of the jocks said and laughed. Nakari walked passed them without even looking. "then let him." The jocks did not know what to do. They still wanted Nakari as a friend but had just called they kid he was hanging out with a dork. "hey wait! We didn't mean it! We were just joking around!" they yelled out but Nakari kept walking. He did not emoting other people making fun of people. It was mean and cruel. Nakari looked back at Hiroki with innocent eyes. "you probably want to stay away from them. They will eat you for dinner if you make them mad."Soon they were at the library and Nakari sat down at and open table in the historical fiction section where no one ere was. He smiled softly. "it'll be quiet here. No one will bother us." Nakari got his math homework back out and started to alive the equations. He then realized that Hiroki was still there. "oh! You may talk if you want... Just have to be quiet. I am sorry I have to do my homework... My parents won't let ms get anything done at home." he apologized and sighed. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •

Hiroki laughed with Nakari. This guy was a lot cooler than he'd imagined. He picked up his messenger bag from the seat he'd left it in before running after the other male, yelling "Oi! Wait up, wait up!". as he passed the director, he spun around to give a quick "See ya later, sensei!" and was turned again and gone from the theatre before he heard the director's chuckle.
Catching up to Nakari was fairly easy, but as soon as he did, some assholes from his class started yelling at them. Insults. Lame, stupid ones, but insults. Nakari seemed not to care too much, and neither did Hiroki. "Eat me for dinner, eh? Well, in that case..." He spun around, walking backwards, and gave them the standard manga insult face- tongue out, one finger pulling on his bottom eyelid, the other waving around by his ear. it was kiddish and immature, but he turned away and laughed anyway.
It really didn't take long to arrive at the table that Nakari had obviously claimed. It was small, tucked away at the back of a section whose name he hadn't bothered to read. "'S okay. Though quiet and me aren't the best pair ever, I can make an effort. So, Nakkun- can i call ya Nakkun?- have you been doing the music and acting thing long?" Hiro asked, reaching into his bag to pull out his most treasured possession- a battered notebook of staff-lined paper. Half of it was filled already, with his melodies and harmonies and lyrics. He turned to a page that was obviously only half done, and began to absently pencil in notes.

 • • • Nakari Makamura • • • Nakari looked at Hiroki and smiled. "Nakkun?" He giggled and nodded. "I suppose you could call me that. As for my singing and acting... I started to sing when I was in diapers. Literally. My parents always lived musk Ed and I started to sing to it. Of course I didn't know the lyrics or even sound good... It was mainly a bunch of La's and Ya's... But that didn't stop my parents. They stuck me in junior singing classes... My voice soon became enjoyable and it progressed into mine now..." Nakari took a deep breath and glanced at the notebook the boy started to right in. "is he writing his own music?" he asked himself and shook his head at the thought. "as for the acting... It just came with the singing. I can act really well and that comes in handy for musicals. I remember when I was little Timmy in the Christmas carol for the community theater... I was given so many gifts at the end of the show. I told them I didn't want any gifts, only a friend. Pretty pathetic, Eh? But eveyone thought it was cute." The boy ran a hand through his hair and sighed. He did not like talking about his past much. It seemed like all he did was work. He wanted to play and act like the rambunctious child he should have been... But instead he trained his vocals and ate only healthy food. No pop or anything with lots of acid in it. They did not want to ruin 'his perfect throat.' "how did you come to liking music? Did you always enjoy it?" he asked. Nakari took out his special band journal. It was a simple black leather bound notebook that could be refilled with more paper if needed. It had tons of band stickers all over it. He didn't know what half of them were but he had bought them anyways because of either the color or design. He put his feet up on his chair and placed the journal in his lap. He started to write down things in his mind. this boy... Hiroki... What could it mean? He comes to me and acts so friendly and yet he seems different... Could he be the one? Or is he just another imposter waning my money and fame... I don't want to count anything out but I don't want to accuse him of anything. We will see how this progresses. We have almost two months to get to know each other. Maybe there will be a few private lessons involved, I hope we get close... Nakari had crossed the last part out because he did want to say that. Not yet. he did not want to get his hopes up to only have them crushed later. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •

Hiroki smiled, and continued to scribble down notes. If it came out right, it'd be a slightly disjointed but cute piano melody. Well. Keyboard. But. whatever. At least Nakari didn't mind his nickname. That made him grin like an idiot.
"At least your parents like music," He muttered, sulkily. He heard the other boy admit to wanting a friend for Christmas. Yeah, he could relate. People didn't want to be his friend either. But, well, that was mostly his fault. Nakari... People probably just used him. Hiroki didn't have that problem, mostly because he was too annoying.
The question about his music brought him out of his thoughts. "Always," Hiro said with a silly smile, looking fondly a his notebook. He didn't even notice the one 'Nakkun' had. "I always loved it. But my parents think it's a waste of time. They don't stop me, though. I think they expect me to grow out of it." He chuckled at the thought. Ridiculous! "I even write my own music now, play it and mix it and stuff myself. What about you? Ever write anything for yourself?"

 • • • Nakari Makamura • • • Nakari smiled and leaned back comfortably in his chair. He had it on two legs, but just barely. He knew his limit and knew that his balance was not the best. "you have the freedom to do whatever you want at least. You could grow up and be the next greatest thing and your parents won't be holding your hand every step of the way. You have your own creative freedom." Nakari seemed to look of into the books as if he was seeing everything he was saying. He shook his head softly and started to write in the notebook again. "I can't say I hate my parents though... They helped me here. They drove me to rehearsals when I didn't have a car... Paid for my vocal teachers... But I think I am living their dreams more than I am living mine." his eyes drifted to the floor. Nakari seemed to be looking at every detail of the horrible pale pink and evergreen colored carpet. His expression could only be called miserable but it wasn't quiet that. Yes. There was happiness there but... It wasn't right. "I want to be an actor more than anything... I live being on the stage... Signing and performing. You can show so much more emotion! So much more talent!" he sighed. "but that is not true... You can have just as much emotion is music. I love the movement though... Feeling like I am living a different life. I feel like I am that character." Nakari gave a big hopeful smile to Hiroki. "do you know what I am talking about?" he asked but then giggled softly. "sorry about that ramble. I just... Get really passionate about things that I love." he shifted in his chair, it being on four legs again, and started to do his chemistry lab report. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •

Hiroki laughed. "No, they don't hold my hand or have a part in my success. But they also insult my music. Say it's annoying. A waste of time and energy. They refuse to buy the instruments and things for me, I buy them myself with my allowance." He shrugged and kept his calm smile, noting with amusiment the way Nakari was tilting his chair back. Like a child. "And even if you are living their dreams, aren't you enjoying yourself? You said yourself how much you love this. At least your parents-" He stopped. Hiro hadn't meant to go there. His bitterness was his business.
Listening to the little speech that Nakari gave about how much he loved acting and singing made Hiro's smile soften into a look of affection. "I know exactly how you feel. When I write music, I get to tell the world how I feel, my way. And it's amazing and... And I, also, get carried away when talking about things I love." He stopped, studing Naraki's face.

 • • • Nakari Makamura • • • Nakari yawned. He was a bit tired. He had not gotten much sleep the past two weeks. Nakari had children's theater, vocal practice, select choir, and a few other activites going on at the same time. He almost started to nod off as Hiroki was talking. Nakari did have to feel bad for Hiroki. If his parents hated his music and insulted it... Then he ovibously didn't have a very good home life. He was leaning back a little bit more in his chair, as if daring to see how far he could go. "I am sorry Hiroki. You can stay around me. I promise not to judge your music or ideas. Anything is open to me." nakari's eyes started to drift closed. The chair leaned back more and soon he was falling backwards. Good thing there was nothing behind him except the floor. He instantly woke up with a squeal. His squeal could only be compared to a little girl screaming. Nakari got up quickly but stumbled. He had hit his head, enough to cause dizziness but not enough to give him a concussion. "I didn't mean too..."• • • • • • • • • • • • • • •

Hiroki smiled softly, and was about to say thanks when Nakari seemed to fall asleep- and subsequently fell backward with his chair. He was off of his own chair in a flash, standing beside Nakari, who at this point had tried to get up and stumbled. He reached out to steady the other boy. "Whoa, easy there. You hit your head pretty hard, man. Sit down, at least..." Hiro pushed Nakari down into that had previously been his own. One hand stayed on Nakari's shoulder, just in case.
"Are you okay?" He asked, squatting so his head was sorta level with Nakari's. "What happened?"

 • • • Nakari Makamura • • • Nakari's awareness of the situation kicked in and his eyes were completely open but his body was still exhausted. He noticed Hiroki kneeling down right beside him. Nakari felt like a little boy being talked to seriously. "sorry Hiro... I have just been over working myself lately. Not having enough sleep just kind of caught up with me. I am perfectly fine. Just a little sleepy is all." Nakari placed his hand over Hiroki's that was on his shoulder. He gave a tired smile towards the boy before getting off the chair and moving to the bean bag chairs that were on the ground in the corner. The bean bag chair's were a popular spot to sit in during the day but now that school was over, they would rather be at home. He patted the Right next to him on the bean bag chair. "I think I am going to take a quick nap.... I don't mean to be boring, especially since I just met you, but I promise to be a better friend and coworker once the practices start." Nakari gave one of his signature charming smiles that rockstars have which make fan girls swoon. He patted the spot right next to himself again. "would you like to sit next to me? I am sure you have something better to do than sit next to a sleeping person... I shouldn't assume that you are free." Nakari gave a slight sigh. He wanted to make sure he did not get molested when he tried to take a nap. Girls could be pretty wild around here. Plus their boyfriends and crushes might beat him into a pulp because of their jealousy. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • [[ooc:// sorry it took forever... School and new years plus family all together. Hiroki stepped back, letting Nakari by. "It's fine." Honestly, he was a biit realived to hear it was just Nakari being tired, not sick. At least that could be fixed easily with a nap. And it was true- he looked pretty tired. He glanced over at the other boy- just in time for that smile. Wow. How could he refuse that smile? "Don't worry about it, Nakkun! I was planning to stay here for a little while anyways."
To prove his point, he settled down on a beanbag next to Nakari and pulled out his notebook. "To be completely honest, Nakkun, I'm almost always free. So don't worry about bothering me, okay?"
