Atreyu - Someone's Standing On My Chest starts to play.
Starving searching this barren wasteland

A huge pyro goes off after the last line and from the smoke Venom walks out IC Title around his waist headbanging to the song. He then walks down the ramp still banging his head to the song.
Break myself slave to my weakness choke on my words
Oh I'm drowning and I feel so alone
The lights are on and I wish I was home.
He slides in the ring takes off his belt and starts to stretch.

*The light began to flicker on and off as the crowd begins to yell uncontrollably and simulatantousle the opening notes of "The time is now" began to play. The first work is spoken and the horns began to blast as John Cena enters the arena, with his new manager Shorti by his side. John wears his new jersey and long black shorts, and a backwards baseball cap. Shorti is wearing a matching outfit, except that she wears, fitted black jeans and no cap and her shirt has been altered to fit her body. He plays to the crowd and Shorti shows her support by pointing to him and mouthing "The Champ is here.", The crowd is still going wild as he walks down to the ring and slides under the ropes. He stands up and jumps around a little longer before pulling off his jersey and throwing it into the crowd. He removes his cap and hands it to Shorti, who is standing beside the ring awaiting the start of the match. She places it on her head and looks at the compition. Patiently but. tensely, he awaits the match.*

Venom finishes up his stretching not caring about Cena's entrance when he looks up Cena is in the ring and the bell ring Venom stands up and starts to circle Cena looking for an opportunity.

Cena does not wait. He runs to Venom and attempts a clothesline.

Venom grabs the arm trying to lock in a Crippler Crossface using Cena's own momentum to take him down.

Cena knew that was coming and had pulled his arm away as soon as he felt Venom grabbing for it. Thrown off, he still fell to the mat.

Venom turned around to see Cena down on the mat he jumped at him trying to put him in an anklelock on the same ankle he had hurt in the other match.

As Venom lifted up the injured ankel, Cena used his other leg to kick Venom off and to free his leg. Cena then jumped up in a football stance once more, returning to his college days. He was poised for a tackel but, pushed back a little more. He unsure of what to do. He awaited Venom's next move.

The second of hesistation gave Venom the moment he needed he went for a hard knee to the side of Cena's head.

The hit connected and Cena fell to the mat. He laid there for a second but then he was right back up. He backed up into the ropes and bounced off of them, using the extra push to attempt a clothesline.

Before he came at him with the clothesline Venom went to clothesline Cena over the top rope when he backed up into them.

Cena flew over the top rope and onto the floor, where Shorti ran around the ring to see if he was okay.

Venom didnt have to time to argue with Shorti to get out of the way like before he had to stay on the attack. He immediately flung himself over the top rope onto to Cena as soon as he got up.

Cena had pushed Shorti out of harms way and tried to catch Venom. If he had caught Venom, he would then go for a sidewalk slam.
