One person says that something happened to them, and then the next person tries to guess whether or not that's true or not. Then they post their own statement after getting the answer from the person who posted. I'll start.

Didn't happen. [Maybe close to it but not a thousand. I probably read as much manga as you do and I'm still not up to a thousand... unless you only read one-shots.]

Happened! I've been to Japan! (Actually, I've completed over 2000 series, and am currently reading around 800+ - MyAnimeList, and if depends on your definition of oneshot, if you mean 1 chapter, not even a quarter of my completed list is oneshots, if you mean 1 volume, than most of it is, yes. But that's just how yaoi goes. *shrugs*)
