Some basic necessities.
She'd nearly fallen asleep on the chopper-ride, just snuggling herself into a position between Bix and Marcus, her arm looped through the archer's and her head laying on the shoulder of the swordsman as she sighed contently.
"Now we get to do fun stuff.." she mumbled as it landed...[[Whichever one of you two wants to do our first roll is chill by me. smile ]]

At first his mind went right to the only person who would text him at ungodly hours of the morning. Julie. Like ******** he was going to reply he was going to sleep. Forever possibly. Looking at his phone, he was surprised to see not Julie's name, But Cass's. Casssss...zzzzz
Not even love could keep him up. The second his head went down he was out like a light. Only when she came to physically wake him up he he groan, and get dressed. Someplace cold huh? Turtle neck, thick socks, underarmor. His only thoughts as to what to bring were the obvious. Swiss army knife, and bandages. The ride over had him half dozing off, Cass's weight making him want to lean back and-
Oh. they were here. He was a little joy addled but hey-
"Oi, what in ******** name-" As they got off the copter, something in the distance spotted them, darting off. "...Goddamn it."

They were going to have to head into the area soon... hopefully, to get this mission over with. Almost as soon as he entered the jungle however- He got a bit lost, ended up back at the Helicoper.

Pokerface exercise. His face sadly reddened with embarrassment. God damn he so did not need this. Bix and Cass would probably tease him and his directional sense later too. Glancing at them he smiled, hoping they wouldn't mock him. He was defense after all, not intel.

Bix was used to waking up early but 2am was considered closer to 'late night' than it was early morning. The albino hunter threw on his standard fare, the fur lined boots and gloves, as well as his coat and several layers underneath. He was groggy at best when he pulled himself onto the helicopter with their capture device. He spent the ride snoozing, head back and mouth agape while his other team mates also snored.
After a few hours on the island they found some footprints. They looked promising!! Until they ended up leading in a circle and right back to where they had been standing.

"This is why we are not death hunters." Bix had then them in a circle, and Marcus had gotten them back to where they started. They kind of sucked at this whole track and catch mission s**t so far. As they went deeper- well. Moon hunters- a rare but welcomed sight to Marcus at the very lease. He was more than happy to help them. More. Than. Happy. Why? Moon hunters oh god he didn't feel so alone.It was rather educational really, and Marcus wished they could have stayed longer. He enjoyed being around the senior hunters that were not, well. ‘Special’. To put it politely.
Sadly, all good things must come to and end and they would have to move on, much to his regret. Perhaps if he was lucky he could request a mission with some of his senior moon hunters and get more on hand experience that way. It would be a nice change of pace to be sure.

For 2 hours they were assisted by the Moon hunters. It might have killed a bunch of time but he was feeling better about their build finally.
While continuing along there was suddenly another person there. WTF how did he not notice?! It was a mist hunter, a girl mist hunter *wiggles brows*, and she was helping them.
Bix could have kissed her. But he didn't. sad

Using alter roll to turn 12 into 13! OH SNAPS!
"Why do we keep going in cirrcccleeesss..." Cass bemoaned as they seemed to make..minimal progress. Not none, as small things were being fixed in their designs to build a cage and the like, but still staying awake after the chopper-flight had been a task in and of itself.
Not an enormous one, but a task.
Though it was nice to get help from the more experienced hunters...
However, it seemed soon enough Cass froze, reaching out to touch the boy's jackets gently with a 'shh shh shh' sound.
"Guys..guys.. it's over there, I can see it." she whispered.
[[*MORRTTALLL KOMMBBAATTTT* Also guys, we have an extra hour we should wait on OOCly before we do this because there was a 2-hour wait from earlier that uhh....didn't get waited on for the 2 hours. sad ]]

[[ COMBAT! ]] - DRILLS: 33 (personal - no adjustment) - "Oh shh...." He shushed himself and crouched, peering through the bushes at their target. "Okay remember our drills. We are ready for this." Bix sunk into the bushes, trusting his team mates to know what to do. He stashed the capture apparatus in a nearby bush and covered it with brush. It would be there when they needed it. For now they had to tire the thing out enough to subdue it. He snuck further around until he was in front of it. EW. HIDEOUS! But it didn't seem very smart. The albino sprung on it from the front. He was too close to miss and if it decided to run it would be right into the waiting hands of his team mates. His surprise was very successful and Bix landed a heavy blow onto the beast's head. It was dazed and flailed, knocking the albino back into the bushes but the beats itself did not appear to be injured. Just as they had planned it turned and ran in the opposite direction. "It's coming your way!" He held his head and got to his feet, hoping his team mates were in position. Bix HP: 40 / 50 Dmg to Bix: 10 Target HP: 50 / 50 (( waited a hour and a half.. hope thats good? ))

Cass hadn't exactly gone gung-ho into drills, and she was about to regret it, sadly. She moved quietly in the opposite direction of Bix, looking up as the sun hunter called out that it was heading towards them. Shoooooooot!
Was she ready for this?
Not as ready as she could have been when the thing slammed into her... but Cass was at least ready enough with Nicodemus in hand, plunging the blade into the creature when it made contact. The fact her weapon was jabbed into the thing might have been the only reason why she'd not been completely bowled over by it, panting tiredly as she pulled back on the blade and kicked the creature away from her.
"Careful, guys, it still has some bite!"
Cass's HP: 40/50

Bix came up behind the monster and hoped that it was too focused on Cass to see him but he wasn't so lucky. Another powerful swing hit Bix in the gut but he managed to hold onto the arm for just a moment, stabbing at it's ribs with his bow. It was only a gancing blow before Bix was back in the dirt again.

DRILLS: 38 God, now wasn't this fun, they had to go an get the rape-o-monster. As Cass and Bix got hit, Marcus joined in, Dis hissing happily in his ear about how he'd been waiting for things to pick up. "s**t this thing is strong." He winced as a blow knocked him back, hoping the bandages would help. Marcus HP: 40 / Dmg: 6 Dmg to Marcus: 10 Target HP: 35 / 50

Cass stared as the thing seemed ready to bowl them all over, stepping into it's line of travel. Yes, that did mean it smashed into her completely, wincing as she felt her shoulder attempt to give way underneath its weight, but pressing her gun into a leg and firing, her other arm moving to slash upwards onto it before she stumbled back.
She could see it bleeding now.
"Be gentle with it guys! It's starting to wear down now!" she called out to her teammates as she grabbed her shoulder to assess her own damage with a grit of her teeth.
HP: 30/50

Bix slid past the beast, catching up it's legs and making it hit the ground hard. Of course it also landed partly on him. "IT'S DOWN!! GET IT!!" That was Marcus's luck often enough anyway. That aside it was time to put their cage to the test and hope they didn't get their asses handed to him. Getting the cage ready, he was..pretty amazed how easily it got in. <******** yeah."
