Who is Participating?Kyrie Eisenheim by saicere Esmerelda de la Vega Garcia by Yaroki How are we playing?Play by Post How to Play by PostWant to play D&D but can't find a group? Want to try out a new RPG system before selling your friends on it? Are you an angry recluse who likes GURPS but has no friends? If any of these sound like you, play-by-post might be just what the doctor ordered. How does play-by-post work?In a normal tabletop game amongst friends, one person is the Game Master and he lays out an adventure for the players. Players state their actions in response to the GM and roll dice to determine success. Sometimes, the GM will roll behind a screen for things that happen that the players are not aware of, and announce the results. In a pbp game, the GM usually does all of the rolling, for players and for behind-the-scenes stuff. The players post their actions and the GM determines success or failure and posts the results. The net result is a game that takes much longer to complete but is much richer in description and often features a more complicated story. What is the story?Plot hook is under construction...

Can Arrancar join? I'm not sure if 'ANYONE' extends that far.

Yes! Of course Arrancar can join!
So what are you looking to get your little baddie into, storyline wise?

Plots...
What kind of plots are you interested in having your character take part of?

Plots that involve combat as well as those that involve talking issues out instead of leaping in head first.
Also it'd be fun to work with the Shinigami as I said rather than against them. I think I mentioned that previously.

No you never mentioned it here.
Why would an arrancar wanna work with Shinigami?

An obsession with order in society. As the Shinigami are a mostly ordered organisation if there was something they needed a Hollow's abilities for she'd be willing to help for the greater good. She holds no particular grudge against Shinigami so unless they were mucking around and messing with things that didn't concern them in Hueco Mundo she wouldn't care.

Well I for one always love two sides to a story, Bleach had it right with viewing the side of the Arrancar, after revealing how Soul Society wasn't all that bad. Everyone is just doing their job.
However...
Arrancar are still, in some form, hollows. Meaning they have no souls. Empty and always craving to fill the emptiness they have.
I could see an arrancar hating the others of his/her kind and working with Shinigami to ruin them, but it's hard to see an Arrancar working for the "better of all poeples" after they had their souls ripped/raped from them.
However, this of course is YOUR character and you should play her/him however you wish. Just keep in mind that your a creature that is ALWAYS tormented with the lack of self identity.
More or less Arrancar are shell's of their formers selves.
On top of that, every Arrancar were once mindless hollows (well kind of...) and you had pee-dunk powers. Everything tried to eat/destroy you, and slowly over hundreds you servived... not only did you servive but you successfully removed your mask and claimed an identity for yourself.
Arrancar have EVERY RIGHT to be arrogant because they earned their power. It's no suprise to see any arrancar would walk up to any Shinigami and kill them.
A) Shinigami still have their souls B) Shinigami kill(actually release) hollows C) They're a bunch of try hards that need weapons to be useful in combat. D) The list can go on and on...
Just some things to take in mind, and even if a Arrancar was tempted to be like, hey guys! I can help! The shinigami would simply release it from existence and run it through with their swords.
The only way that a Shinigami and Hollow of any kind would work together, is if there was something bigger and meaner than either of them combined. Something that threatened every living/unliving creature in existence. Granted... death to a Arrancar could end up being a bitter release from torment.
Whether they were completely destroyed, or their souls purified with the retribution of a Soul Cutter.

If you remember Starrk though all it seemed he really wanted was friends. He held no real grudge against the Shinigami. Even though all these things try to destroy and harm him in the end he came out just feeling lonely. As a result of his power. Note also the Arrancar Neliel, Dondochaka and the skinny one. Hollows do not have to be nasty and unfriendly. They just tend to be.
What my Arrancar searches for is security. Through order. It's just a preface to what they're really after which is a feeling of security. If she believes that the whole world is working like clockwork and some greater good is being upheld that is where she believes she'll find security and thus something to fill the hole.
However as it's an unachievable ideal it will leave her feeling ultimately empty. She would work against it to stay alive for example as although she has an excuse she knows it's not something that could ever happen.
I don't know if this will suffice for you. However this was the approach I took. Some Arrancar may seek a different way to make themselves feel like they possess a soul again.
As for working together I'll work something out.

Hmm... never thought of it that way.
Well I see your point and, I'll take a piece of humble pie and eat it. You're right, not all Arrancar are all angsty, just most of them.
Now... does your Arrancar live among Aizen's best or is he/she on his/her own?
And your character seems really interesting, mind if ya link me to it?
I'd love to read it over.

GM = Game Master
More or less I'll run the world and everything in it. Check out the PR thread, I suggested we implement a new RP system.
