Ten used to be my favorite doctor, but then I watch the first season again and came to really appreciate nine. Then I watched the sixth season and was swept up in the eleventh. To be honest I don't have a favorite. I try to remember that they're all the same person, and nine and ten have really begun to blur together for me. I just love The Doctor period. As far as favorite companion I'll have to say Rose... or Donna. I couldn't stand Martha, Amy is kind of blah. I like amy, but I don't love amy. Oh and Rory, Rory is a complete badass smile I love river; i have a hard time with river/doctor romance. I fell in love with rose and the doctor and I still haven't gotten over doomsday, so I can't really appreciate the doctor's relationship with river. Sooo your views?

Nine was fantastic. Because I wasn't used to Doctor Who trying to go from Nine to Ten was weird for me. I didn't like that they kept Rose when she was Nine's girl in my eyes.
I still have quite a few of Tennant's episodes I haven't seen. I have seen enough of him to appreciate his version of The Doctor. One of these days I'll see the rest of his episodes.
Matt Smith was easier to get into because it was a new Doctor, new companion, and new showrunner. He makes the Doctor seem old and young at the same time.
As for the companions Rose was great with Nine. They worked the best out of any Doctor/companion couple.
Of The Ponds I'd say Rory is the tops. He's hot and sweet and the best boyfriend/husband of all of time and space. Alex Kingston does an amazing job as River. She has some great moments. The romance however doesn't quite work. As much as I love Karen the character of Amy doesn't feel consistent for me. I blame Moffat, not her.

I'm a Tennant fanboy, so he's obviously my favorite of the regens. I absolutely LOVE Christopher as well, but he's at maybe half a level below Tennent for me. As for Smith, it took some getting used to and into his version, but I do greatly enjoy his version of the Doctor.
As for companions, River, Donna and Rory are my favorites. River is just a kick a** woman, I love Donna's don't-take-any-s**t attitude and how she always calls out the Doctor's strange actions (which Tennant did have a lot of ^_^ ) and Rory is just so awesome.

I like the 11th Doctor, plus he is my first Doctor. I don't know much about the other Doctors, since I am relatively new to Doctor Who...but I am sure I won't have any problem liking all the past Doctors.

The Eleventh Doctor is my first Doctor but I have seen some Nine and Ten episodes. Really... Only like one Ninth Doctor episode, but still... ^_^
I LOVE Matt Smith. Fo shizzle. I'll marry him someday, I swear! Lol. But... Yeah. He does a great job portraying the Doctor as someone haunted with dark secrets but only runs away from them or chases them away with a cheery smile. He brings real complexity to the character. David Tennant, as far as I can tell, is awesome too... But... I don't know. I just love the Eleventh. Like hardcore. I've seen the whole second series and am starting on the third, so who knows? Maybe I'll grow to love him just as much as I love Matt.
As for my favorite companion... Most definitely Amy. I just love her chemistry with the Doctor and the feisty-ness and such. I didn't like Rory at first but he grew to be a total bad-a$$. So, I love him now too! I seriously HATED River towards the beginning because I knew that she would get married to the Doctor and I'm in love with the Eleven/Amy pairing, but I love her too. And once I heard the "Tick-tock Goes the Clock" song and she was talking to Rory about their relationship... I was like "Aw. That's so adorably, romantically sad." But I still like Eleven/Amy. I also think that I'd like Donna Noble. I watched "The End of Time" just this morning and she seems really cool. Martha is a little iffy, and I guess Rose is okay. Jack Harkniss is the bees knees but I only know him from Torchwood.
This ended up being really long. Sorry ^_^ I'm really a huge fangirl. And I LOVE talking about Doctor Who!

You can't forget about Jack! He is so smexy and gorgeous. I would love for him to come back to Doctor Who for an episode with Matt. I'd love to see how they got along. And of course Jack/River interaction would be so much fun to watch!

I started watching when David first became the Doctor, but I think Matt really is my Doctor. And Chris is great too. Some of my favorite Doctor/Rose moments are from series one of the rebut.
As for companions, my favorite are Donna and Jack. Catherine Tate is just amazing and I LOVED her with David. And Jack is well..he's Jack so you just can't help but love him,
I adore Rory too, Doctor Who's own Kenny lol. It's gonna be said to see him go...

David Tennant will always be my Doctor. I enjoy Matt Smith's portrayal as well, but no one can replace 10 for me. He was the first Doctor who I actually watched on my own, not just being busseled around the telly with my parents.
He had every element that makes The Doctor so special.
He is clever and brilliant. Always using his mind instead of violence.
He was kind and never short of a joke.
He loved. Not only Rose, but everyone he met, in their own way.
He was dark and troubled. He wasn't always carefree and kitschy, he was angry and loud. You could feel his burdens, from The Time War to loosing Rose.
I'm sure people could use some of these qualities to describe all of the 11 Doctors, but in my mind David Tennant is the definitive Doctor.

I think one of tennants best episodes was the Satan pit, you got anything you could possibly want. Horror, drama, a bit of humor in the impossible planet, tons of ood. When my brother walks up behind me and i ignore him he puts on a deep voice and just quotes the satan-thing "Toby...don't turn around! I can almost touch you Toby" it makes me laugh and freaks me out at the same time

Bow ties are cool, yes, but you must never diss the sonic. I'm kinda tied between 9th and 10th regenerations. [A.k.a., the 10th and 11th Doctors.]

sadly i've only seen tennant,christopher, and smith. companions wise i'd say rose the one and only for the doctor.

First and formost, David Tennant will always be my Doctor. I started out with the Nine, but just the very moment that he regenerated and I saw that brilliant Tenth Doctor smile, I fell hopelessly in love with him. I will admit that now. (: I just loved his seasons, he was amazing as the Doctor, and I will not lie, I cried when he regenerated, I didn't want him to go too. ): But ever since Doctor Who, I've been the biggest Tennant fan ever. I absolutely love that man.

As companions go, Rose will be my number one. I, unashamedly and wholeheartedly ship Ten/Rose. It's high on my list of ships. But other than Rose, I absolutely love Rory. The fact that he's just so badass, and so clever. Despite the fact he's the one who dies the most, Rory is the best.
