I actually saw a movie that I enjoyed today: Hugo.
Directed by Scorsese, produced by Johnny Depp, which actually is a really good combination (surprisingly). Good acting. Good side plots. Good story and a happy ending. And partially based on fact!
This is the first movie in a while which I feel is worth buying on DVD. (That says a lot; I have almost no DVDs.)
If you have money and time, it's worth seeing.

I had been curious about this film. Your suggestion helped me make up my mind, I'll definitely find the time to see it now. XD

I went and saw it today. It was very good. Definitely not what I thought it would have been. It's truly a tribute to the Golden Age of film.

Also, something I wanted to expand on: Hugo has a bit of Depp's whimsy, but it's well-grounded by Scorsese's direction. Generally, a really good movie. 3nodding

The book it's based on was a Caldecott winner. It's huge and in an odd format. I remember flipping through them as I shelved them.

Blake. I had a dream about you. It was pretty boring. It boils down to the fact that my journey to find a luck dragon took me through Florida and I decided to bring you along. You were reluctant, but one thing convinced you. In my dream, I had two tattoos. Two really bad tattoos. These were a major point of interest for you, and you couldn't stop telling all your friends at the beach that "This guy has tattoos!" Everyone was disappointed when I revealed them.
Then I woke up.

Weird. I had a dream about Kitsy once. I think I was visiting her in Canada. What were the tattoos of? Did one of them say MOM?

I'm glad you asked! One was of a fist on my forearm. It was from some bad video game, and though it was brand new, it already looked faded.
The other was the Rebel Alliance symbol on the back of my calf. It looked like I drew it myself.
Really boring tats, Blake. I wish you would just calm down about them.

i just woke up from a dream where i found a bloody severed thumb sticking up out of the frozen snow.
now i fear to go outside.
but hey i like the way that film feels. it reminds me of a Miyazaki movie where this girl discovers the figure of a toy baron who is missing his true love, and they represent real people...?

Lea Fealith Crono725 I'm glad you asked! One was of a fist on my forearm. It was from some bad video game, and though it was brand new, it already looked faded. Yeah Blake, why you gotta be a jerk? Lol, somehow I did not notice these posts. I'm now actually a jerk instead of just in dreams. Those are boring tatts... unless you got them in prison or someplace odd that would justify my interest. I mean, they did look hand-drawn and horrible, right?
My most recent dream is creepy. (Most of my memorable dreams are; they don't stick in my mind unless they wake me up fast.)
I was picking up outside on concrete for some reason, and suddenly, there was a breadbox with bagels with raisins in it. My chihuahua was trying to get into it and eat the bread. I picked up the box to stop it and for some reason, when looking at it, angled it so the bread slid out of the box and hit me in the face. Turns out, those weren't raisins; they were roaches. Ewww. Woke up feeling like I had a roach necklace (tingly) and brushed myself off. No roaches, but I couldn't sleep for a while. xP

chessiejo rats. now i cannot eat my yummy bagel... Even though thinking of that dream gives me heebie-jeebies, I'd still eat a bagel. Mmm, bagels, especially cinnamon raisin; they're my favorites. I just... look more closely before I toast them. sweatdrop ninja
