Prisca shuffled her foot through the pile of papers at her feet. She was at the edge of the destroyed lab, having not visited this for months. The earth had been trying to reclaim the land during her absence. Dried out weeds still clung to the debris in between the patches of snow. For the most part, it looked untouched. The beast hadn't even returned, it seemed.
Looking over her shoulder, the Mewtwo glanced across the group that had decided to follow her for reasons unknown to her. Reasons she didn't really care about, honestly. It was comforting to have a group nearby in case anything went wrong. A lab held sentimental values for her. More so a destroyed one.
What was she hoping to accomplish? To get some answers. Aside from the strange behavior of Xero during the Spring, everything had calmed down. It felt like the calm before the storm, to the Mewtwo woman. Thus she was back here to see if she could find anything to explain what might be approaching them unseen.
----------
A little background I forgot yesterday. Sorry about that.
How you introduce your character is up to you. Be it going along with Prisca or there already. If gone with Prisca, she gathered you up in the soup shop. Apologizing for the long wait in showing everyone where this lab is, of course.
If you don't know what's going on, a Genesect terrorized the city for a little bit. Prisca found a journal at the lab site, telling a story similar to the Mewtwo. So she's back to investigate.
You have until sometime after Christmas to get your fill of poking around. Feel free to ICly keep what you find. I'll be at my grandparent's for Christmas, so without internet to continue this for a few days. Thus why you're given until after Christmas. <3 Then we'll move quicker with more interesting events.
Also, messing with Prisca won't step on my toes. I don't need her to continue the events.

"Sheesh, what a dump," a voice commented from somewhere among the ruins, deeper within the remains of the destroyed lab than the group that had just arrived. An inquisitive blue and tan figure was darting about, inspecting a piece of rubble here or a scrap of metal there.
By the time he finally turned his attention to the newcomers, he was grinning and scratching his head, approaching them with long digitigrade legs. A pair of bright blue feline ears swerved atop his head while a matching blue tail swayed back and forth behind him, keeping his balance. The rest of his complexion was olive-tan; sort of caramel-colored, and he looked to be in his older teens or early twenties.
"I don't suppose any of you know what happened here, do you...?" the Mew adolescent asked, addressing the unfamiliar group of pokehumans. "Come to sight-see...?"

Florence unfortunately had to finish work before following the group, he watched quietly as they left cleaning the tables. It was a good thing his shift was over in an hour, or he might miss all the fun. Florence started working here only after the incident he had heard about took place, hearing rumours about the great explosion at some sort of secret lab a ways away. Florence huffed hoping the night would go by faster so he could catch up to the group.
Maybe if he was lucky he'd have some company, there were often some stragglers. Maybe he'd be lucky and get to take a girl with him, what kind of company could be better? With his curiosity high Florence continued to clean and take orders, after all this was only one of his part time jobs as much as he didn't like leaving early it might kill him to stay.
With an offer of a flower to a nearby female customer he smiled in a charming manner before heading back behind the counter.

"Sorry - remind me what we're doing here again...?" a Haunter boy asked, raising a brow along with his question toward Prisca. He had volunteered without knowing much about the situation, it was true, but as long as he could help somehow, he felt the trip would have been worth it. Although he was relatively new to the city and reigon, and even newer to his current companions, that didn't hinder Shadow's determination to be of use. For the moment, though, it didn't seem like there was much for anyone to do. He wasn't even sure why the Mewtwo woman had led them here. Did she know something about it that they didn't...? Was this place dangerous?
When the Mew appeared amid the ruins, the Haunter flinched, startled. He glared at the unfamiliar face, not liking the look of him instantly. "Was just going to ask you the same question," he murmured toward the taller male, still tense. They didn't know if he was friend or foe, after all. "You're pretty suspicious, being out here all on your own. How do we know you weren't the cause of all this?"

The Mewtwo glanced at the two there and sighed. Not what she was expecting, but it was better than nothing. She didn't feel comfortable coming here by herself. The thing that had tried to wreck the city a while ago had never resurfaced, far as she could tell. At least not in her visual presence. Being a Psychic Pokemon meant she could feel it from time to time. It never stayed in one spot for too long, unless it was joined by a second signal.
So long as the city was left in one piece, that was all that mattered.
Right?
Still, she couldn't help revisiting the lab to see if she could learn of anything. Nothing ever came from an experiment. Nothing good, anyway. At least not in the beginning. She couldn't prejudice all experiments as bad. Not with Xero.
That was one she had purposely left out of her search. He hadn't taken kindly to her protecting the strange Pokemon back in the beginning. She doubted he would take kindly to her returning to the scene of the crime. The lab was far enough out in the middle of nowhere she was sure he wouldn't feel her presence.
"That's what I'm here to hopefully discover," Prisca answered truthfully. The only bit of truth she would give them. The Mew also got a bit of her eye. He would be able to feel her weaker aura. It would be more obvious if he was aware of what a normal Mewtwo was like. She wasn't about to tell them they were mostly here as her bodyguards.
Although the help with the search was also helpful. Yes. Of course.
"Something escaped here and I want to find out what. And..." The comment of the Haunter brought her attention back to the Mew. For a moment, she just studied him, feeling his aura in the way only a Psychic could. It wasn't the second presence she always felt mingled with the purple Pokemon. "That's....A possible suspension. Arceus only knows what kinds of things Pokehumans get into, in these human bodies. Like working here."
Giving the Mew a special little look, she added, "And I would like to know why you're out here. It is suspicious."
----------
Now the prompts start. I give you until the 29th, at 9:30 pm EST to respond before I move on. Prisca is just a little warmup.
You can still jump in if you missed the beginning.

Though the grin of the Mew broadened when he was regarded by the Mewtwo woman, but his heterochromic eyes narrowed. He didn't like being stared at. It didn't matter that the lady had no way of knowing; he just didn't like the way she was looking at him without saying anything...and for so long.
Without taking his gaze off her, the Mew answered the Haunter with a laugh, "Me? You really think I could be this destructive and not marked up with a few cuts?" His tail swayed back and forth, as if he had to keep some part of his body in motion at all times. "Anyway, take a look around, ghost boy," he added, gesturing widely at the ruined landscape. "This place has been deserted for ages. I just got here myself."
Guessing that his fellow Psychic-type was sizing him up mentally as well as visually, the Mew took the oppertunity to do the same. He stepped forward until he was face to face with her, their noses almost touching. His cheshire grin seemed somewhat more...sinister up close, as did his narrowed eyes. Yes, he could sense her weaker aura, but he wasn't foolish enough to underestimate her. He knew better than to do anything stupid like take her on in a battle before he found out more about her.
In the meantime, though, she really had to stop staring. "What's the matter, sweetheart?" he asked quietly, seemingly ignoring her previous statement about something having escaped the ruined labs. "See something you like? That it?" As he spoke, he regarded her own aura in comparison with his own. From what he could tell without actually getting to know her better, their souls couldn't have been more different.
"Me?" he asked in response to her final request. "Heh...I'm sure you would, sweet cheeks. I'm just not sure I feel like telling." The Mew laughed again. "I can tell you I had nothing to do with this mess or whatever caused it, though, if that's what you want to know. Just call me a curious cat."

Treading carefully though the halls as though chased by memories of a time past the charizard more on edge with every step, she shivered as though the mass heat she produced wasn't enough to keep her warm in these empty destroyed halls. She was afraid, very uncommon for her proud fearless character fury usually possessed often running into things without thinking this was no exception. Stubbornly coming here by herself to find out what happened despite the feeling of fear these labs brought her, Fury kept trying to shove of the fear with the anger she felt toward the humans who had imprisoned her and caused. Both the soft light from her tail and familiar growl coming from her throat gave her some comfort as she continued to walk the halls toward the room where the group gathered.
Her clawed feet cracked the debris under her weight her wings close against her back with unease as she saw the door ahead, the one where the group gathered, would she be able to deal with the pokehumans? Would they be too difficult for her to handle without her losing her temper? But she had to know what happened here in this place what was contained and how it escaped. A deeper growl sounded from her throat as she straightened relaxing her tight wings she couldn’t be seen as afraid by anyone particularly those who didn’t know her. Her wild glint returned to her eye as she approached she ran her clawed hand through her hair.
What an odd group of pokehumans awaited her, a mew and mewtwo in the same room? A bad omen to say the least, Fury had heard the rumours about such confrontations both rarely appeared ever and rarer still appearing at the same time, yet here they were and neither seemed to like the other fury stayed against the wall watching the psychic and the ghost poke from afar though the light from her tail gave away her presence, that and her rather heavy foot falls. Fury after all wasn’t the lightest on her feet; she never had been one to be graceful.
The destroyed lab reminded Fury so much of the destruction she too had wrought not to long ago.

Shadow nodded slowly at Prisca's response, satisfied with her answer. So, this was something of a recon mission. He could handle that. The more, the better, since if they ran into trouble, they could act as a team and had a better chance of standing up to threats. And, if following this path of discover was as dangerous as Prisca was making it out to be, they would definitely need to be on their toes.
"Something escaped?" He repeated, wondering just how much the Mewtwo lady knew. "Do you know what it was?" He guessed the reason they had come here was to learn more about it, which made Shadow suspect Prisca knew more than she was telling. She must have known what they were looking for, or at least had some idea of what kind of information she wanted to find. If she didn't explain what it was to the rest of them, though, then there was little they could do to help.
Shadow was too irritated with the Mew to respond to him. All he said in reply was, "Don't call me 'ghost boy'," before going over to a nearby pile of rubble to inspect what was under it. He pretended not to notice when Kit flew right up to Prisca, but he made a note to keep watch on the both of them out the corner of his eye in the case something happened.

"I..." came out of the woman's mouth, before she found herself far too close to the Mew for comfort. Instinctively taking a step backwards, then another, she raised her hands as if to defend herself against an assault, her face obviously twisted in her annoyance of the bold behavior. Behind her, the sleek purple tail raised itself above her shoulders, free for a change from the restrains of her skirts. For the special occasion, Prisca had decided pants and heeled boots would have been more appropriate. She didn't like the atmosphere around this area. She half expected an attack to rise out of the ruins. As if the Pokemon who had escaped had returned to sleep within the remains of its birthplace.
It was possible. Xero had once.
Choosing to ignore the blue man, the Mewtwo shifted her attention to the Haunter. "No. I saw it, but it wasn't a Pokemon I'm familiar with." Kicking at a stone, Prisca watched it roll in the snow, making a trail from her to it. "Looked like someone had been trying to dig up the mistakes of Team Rocket back in Kanto. If you know the old Mewtwo stories regarding our habit of destroying the labs we were made in and going off on a destructive rampage." Sweeping an arm across the ruins, she indicated in body language this was the same. Too much the same for comfort. Even if people doubted the stories were true or not-not like many people were left alive to tell the tale-she knew it was true. She had seen the ruins of the lab Xero left behind. It wasn't much different from this.
Aside from being above the water.
In the distance, a small figure approached and crouched behind a tree. Out of view in clothes of white, the only thing that stood out was the glittering of the red jewels on the twin tails of the stranger. It had been watching for a while, cutting off its signal from the other Psychic Pokemon.
In a flash of a Teleport, it was amongst them, floating in the air with one leg crossed over the other. The signal was let down, the figure in the air allowing the others of her Type to sense her to their heart's content.
The Mewtwo's eyes snapped to the newcomer quickly, her tail curling to the side at the height of her hips. That signal was familiar to Prisca. She felt it often with the strange purple Pokemon who was made here. Whether this petite woman meant them harm or to aid them, she wasn't sure.
"I didn't think others were aware of this place," the strange woman commented in a friendly voice, arms crossed over her knee as she leaned down to observe them all. The Haunter and two Legends on clear speaking terms already. Her yellow eyes shifted to the Charizard, as if she was trying to hide away from the group. An easy task, with their minds all so preoccupied.
"You do know it's dangerous to be here. The walls might crumble down on you." Her tone now had an almost mothering caring behind it, like a mother duck wanting to see her ducklings safe.
Prisca, still on her guard, continued to be suspicious. The way this woman just appeared before them. Like she knew they were there. If she knew that, the Psychics present should have been able to sense her presence. Prisca knew she hadn't. She wasn't sure if her senses had a smaller radius then they should be, however.
"Or the Pokemon that came from here might appear, shaking the dust of the lab off his shoulders."
He? She said he. Meaning...
"It is a Pokehuman, now..." Somehow, that idea made her more nervous than the fact a dangerous Pokemon had been set free.
All the woman did in return was smile in her sweet manner and tap her nose to show Prisca had been right.

His cheshire grin widening at the reaction of the Mewtwo lady, the Mew allowed her to step back without following. "Relaaax. I'm not gonna hurt ya," he teased, backing off as he turned to regard the rest of the group. The Mewtwo's continued conversation with the Haunter seemed to hold not interest to the Mew whatsoever. He was more interested in the Charizard trying to isolate herself off in one corner. Well, Kit wasn't about to let her do that.
"Heya, cupcake," he called to her flirtatiously, his tail swaying in her direction as he circled around behind her. "What's the matter? Cat got your tongue...?" He laughed at his own joke and was about to reach out to touch her hair when a newcomer approached them. Kit looked up attentively, though his grin never wavered.
"Well, well! Didn't think I'd see you again so soon," the shiny called to the Uxie woman, though he remained where he was beside Fury. He'd seen the Uxie in passing during his travels a while back, but they'd never formally met. He wasn't sure if she'd even remember him. "Trying to spook us with creepy stories?" Kit snickered, kicking at a piece of rubble. "It'll take more than a few crumbled walls to scare us off. Who cares what was here? It's not here now. It's no threat to us at the moment, so I don't know why you'd expect anyone to be worried about it."
The mew tilted his head to the side, a hand planted on one of his hips. "Heheh...if I didn't know any better, I'd say you were trying to hide something from us, doll-face. That why you want us to scram?"

"...Huh." The Haunter was surprised that there were pokemon the Mewtwo was unfamiliar with, especially because he had assumed psychic-types like herself were the most knowledgeable about such things. Seeing as they were in a lab, however, perhaps this one had just been newly discovered and was being studied before it escaped. Or created. Shadow cringed at the thought. He knew enough about labs to hate and fear them.
Stiffening at the mention of Team Rocket, he glanced around and realized that what the woman said was, indeed, true. At first, Shadow had thought this, too, must have been the work of a Mewtwo, but if Prisca wasn't familiar with the pokemon, then surely it couldn't have been one of her own. But then...what could it have been...? "Who would try to repeat the past like this?" he wondered aloud, shaking his head. "No wonder that thing destroyed this place. Who would want an abomination of a place like this to remain standing?"
Before he or anyone else could say anything more, however, another psychic-type appeared before them in a flash of Teleportation. Shadow jumped back, startled, before he discovered the source. The tiny lady seemed non-intimidating enough, but there was something the ghost-type didn't like about her. The more she spoke, the less he trusted her. She seemed to know things they did not, and it was a shame that Shadow wasn't more familiar with the pokemon of any regions beyond Johto, because otherwise he might have known why this was so.
"Who...who are you?" he asked suspiciously. "Why are you here? And what do you know about the thing - the Pokehuman - that was here?"

Aurora had quietly moved to join the group. She was slightly shaking she had been in places like this before nothing good came from these places. "Those Mewtwo stories are true." she said very softly. Aurora was jumping at any sound she heard. Because she was scared her powers were weaker making her feel more uncomfortable than she already was. "We should pick up any paper, computers and stuff like that and take it outside this place could come down at any second burying everything," she said a little bit louder as she moved around some ruble in her bear feet.

Fury took an instant dislike to the mew, she didn't care if the pokemon was a legend or not she just didn't like his personality, it rubbed her the wrong way, fury just snarled and slapped away the mew's hand, lucky for him the uxie appeared Fury took a few steps forward to get a better look at her.
After both the uxie and Prisca spoke another mew appeared, What was with the Kanto legendary pokemon fest. Fury felt irritated. She knew of uxie but this was her first time meeting one and the damn thing slipped into her mind reading surface thoughts it seemed, she wasn't a psychic pokemon and unfortunately had to defense against the mental barrage.
His? Prisca however managed to speak first, they did something terrible in here once again, humans would never learn from their mistakes, perhaps her own torture was just a prequel to the nature of this creature. Fury didn't like that idea one but, how many had suffered so this experiment could succeed she wondered.
However something more frightening caught her attention at the last minute, the uxie's eyes were wide open, that meant she was going to erase their memories or at least tamper with them at the very least, but who would she choose first to destroy? This worried Fury greatly, Fury made sure to not look at the uxie's face.

The amused look on the Uxie's face disappeared at the blue man's first comment. Leaning an elbow on her crossed knee, she leaned down just enough to rest her check in her palm, watching him with her golden eyes slightly lidded in an alluring stare. Not that she was in the least bit interested-he didn't appear like he could handle her in the fashion she was accustomed to-but more out of habit than anything else. A small smile appeared back on her face as she looked him up and down once. She kept her distance from all of them, floating at a safe distance in the air.
Before responding, she noted the way the Charizard besides him made sure to keep her eyes diverted from her face. This made her smile more broad. Fortunately for them all, her natural eyes open meant nothing anymore. Though this didn't mean she was without her precious Uxie ability.
"Scary stories aren't without the true facts to make them realistic," the woman responded, her twin tails swaying in the wind below her. They poked out of a hole in her jeans, free to move around for today's activities. "You'd best heed them. The beastie that was here isn't gone far. I'm sure you've seen him. Tall. Broad. Ugly purple hair. Covered in scrap metal with that precious gun of his he can't let go of. No better than a sulky child with their teddy, really."
Ignoring everyone else, the Uxie Teleported closer to the shiny Mew and Charizard, landing on her feet besides them. The fact she was much shorter than the two didn't seem to be destroying that smug smile on her face.
Tilting her head slightly, she looked at the male one last time. "Not scram. Just heed." Once said, her golden eyes locked onto the Charizard, her head cocked to the side. She had her arms folded behind her back, looking about as innocent as the sweetest child clutching their stuffed rabbit. Behind her, the tails swayed on their own, the tips brushing the ground where they arched back upwards to avoid getting wet or dirty.
"It's rude not to look someone in the eyes."

Fury growled coldly at the uxie she held herself back at the taunt, though one would still notice the intensity of her tail increase, stories were not without truth, her trainer had spent a long time in Sinnoh having quite enjoyed herself there Fury too had learned a lot about the stories of the legends and their abilities.
Fury looked around quickly as soon as the Uxie vanished in an instant only to look slightly lower to avoid the golden eyes of the uxie as she appeared beside her."Funny how such innocent your posture is yet the dangerous aura you give off seems contradicting." Fury spoke surprisingly cold for a fire pokemon. Fury's growled deepened as she lashed out at the uxie with her white clawed hands, It would at least get her away from her for a time, the charizard hoped.
"I'd get down if were you," spoke to the rest of the group, most of them were able to protect themselves though she gave fair warning. Fury breathed in and opened her mouth and a large shock wave emitted from it directly at the Uxie.
